Fossil Hunter Finds Landslide FULL Of Fossils!!

I ate on the Grapevine that there's been some huge Cliff Falls here in Whitby today there's been massive Seas all last week really bad rain constantly all week I'm telling you now there's been Cliff Falls 100 percent I know there is I've been down here since about quarter past five this morning there's Cliff Falls everywhere and I mean everywhere I picked up a ton in my bag already I'll show you them in a bit but we're going to carry on collect and see how many we can get today because I think it's going to be a big bag let's go just to show you that I'm not over exaggerating this is the bag look at that all fossil bearing nodules probably half of them have got ammonites in half of them might have them in I don't know I mean check that big fat deck out lovely I've really had a good feeling about today almost didn't get up but I decided to go out this is what I've got already this is going to be hard work let's carry on I mean this is what we're dealing with today a lot it's nodules everywhere I mean there's nothing showing there and it's probably nothing in that one actually so I'll leave that one but I mean there's just shingle and Falls everywhere incredible and again nodule right there and right there he's a really promising looking one because it's a cannonball cannonball's adored but whoosh get that lovely ductiliosaurus bang on right I'm gonna walk around just show you how mental this is this is no joke those are probably the best days I've ever had right that's one nodule there so let's put that right there look at that that's number two uh oh look at that number three what else can we find that's a fossil Berry not a drawer right there oh there you go more showing no we'll give that a whack what about that uh now we'll leave that oh four in a few seconds sorry for the bad view if you've got a bad view look at that no no no no that's rubbish that's rubbish that you should do this just filming a long bit this is how crazy it is [Applause] I'm gonna carry on finding some more and then I'll come back to you also this is uh where the giant vert was that I found so I'm gonna thoroughly look through this area just in case there's a second I'd like to think so but let's hope so right just got done it in all those nodules quite a few Duds quite a few have broken but hey ho got about 10 or 11 really nice decks so that'll do me let's crack on down there check this out [Applause] just found this literally on the floor it's either a collector split it and didn't want it or it's naturally split not bad so some serious emphasism today on keeping clear with the cliffs hopefully stuff gets washed out but this is just how bad it is I'll show you this clifffall that's just right over there right there in the distance the very very large clip for now hopefully it's washed off out around here but we'll wait and see told you the big killer Falls I'm standing plenty back but check that Outlook that whole Cliff face right there that is gone wow there's some good stuff that comes out of this area too so uh I'm hoping there's some good stuff washing a bit further out over here I have quite a few nodules if you hear that noise in the background by the way that'll be some jets flying over the filing Dales oh yeah oh a big brown bit gone bit broken I saw that to the Oscars but that ain't coming back with me oh whoosh right there let's go oh yeah and he finished showing now I'll give that a waxy if I can get anything out of that right then now empty well I'll tell you something it's done a 180 collected all them earlier on and now nothing I had anything in about half an hour get this for a nice little ducky slipping all over look that's a belter feet up this two eleganticism print in a nud draw I might polish that one up not bad makes up for the last half hour an hour or so right here and right here look promising oh yep there we go a lot get in the light here we go lovely lovely ductiliosaurus probably athletic gum cracking and then what side of this one uh oh here we go look Keel of the dot there it's up there well I'm not fragment cone next to it on the current take it I just got back to the spot I was earlier and forgot I'd left these here that were lucky is there anything even in these I think Melissa need it in yep I'll give him a whack and let's see what we can get but it's certainly a duck date oh it's all right now going back why not middle might not be there but might be hey nearing the end now hopefully I can get one special find that might be nice but we'll wait and see it's been a long day four o'clock starts three o'clock starts a lot fun so in that case hit the like hit the Subscribe just for my effort I'll do what you want but yeah I'd appreciate it right I've just found this big nodule I think this is going to be my last uh the last hurray for the day it's in size nodule I'm not expecting anything in it but we'll smash it open and see if there's anything there other one was rubbish maybe there's a good one here but I don't know whether it's complete or not if buried chances are that's a half when I'm back I'm going to show you something really really special I actually found it in a previous video quite a while ago I'll play that at the end of the video for you and I'll show you the reveal of the ammonite that I've just finished prepping it's really high quality one of my best see if it's all there oh I knew it just a half nothing inside damn right we're back home I've got two things actually show you one being the one that I mentioned previously and one that I actually finished today that was in this video so let's take a look at them so here's the clip of me finding it I can't remember if it was earlier this year or last year but yeah it's a good find oh my God oh my God oh my God check this out just hit this rock wasn't expecting anything can't breathe so so this nodule just at the base of the cliff here give it a tap with the old trusty big boy because I lost me with a hammer this morning unfortunately oh my God check this out yeah wow that is an absolute monstrous mouthiest stokesy that's what it's got to be close to seven inches I was not expecting that today whatsoever so that was a mouthier stokesy it's a really I won't say it's rare rare but it's quite a rare ammonite to find and to find it fresh in the nodule that's come out of the cliff is really rare to find usually they're in a grayed out nodule but this in this case it was a rusty Brown nodule didn't think there'd be anything in it but there it was so yeah I'll show you that in a second but I also the big DAC that I found in this video right at the beginning I've prepped that looks stunning so let's take a look at that first so here it is look at that beauty I'll get a few shots of it in a minute but that is just absolute top grade that teleosaurus that is what a piece you don't get many top grade that teleosaurus like that that is high quality and although it doesn't happen very often that one's making my collection what a piece right now for the amalthiest stokese those on Instagram well I've seen this already but here we go oh look at that incredible right I'll put it down so I can get some still shots for you now these are easily one of my most favorite species of ammonites one of the most notable traits of this ammonite is what's the keel and you call it the pie crust Keel because it literally resembles a pie crust check out these suture patterns here absolutely beautiful amazing really crowded sutures too which means that it was a full-grown adult as you can see all here it dips down a bit here which is more than likely just crushing from from the preservation of the fossilization but there's also a small chance that it might be a pathological uh problem which means that it might have been bitten down there at some point and then grieve grown its shell back and then it would have lived like this anyway you can see all the defined ribs and everything here this is a true quality specimen it was bigger it did come up to about here but it was poorly preserved here so I had to make the decision to remove that section there so yeah that one's a collection piece once again I'm getting quite good with adding more collection pieces at the minute hopefully this week I'm going out collecting more so maybe we'll find some more I'm looking for an ammonite called hell gear and it is really rare but it's really interesting gonna head to that location where they're only found tomorrow I think and we'll see if we can get some in the meantime take it easy bye
