fortnite's last update is season 2 is here and the live event has officially been leaked on top of new map changes hints the next season and so much more but first let's hop in game and see what's changed the first thing you'll notice is that a new area is on the minimap and it has a tower icon if you go to this place you'll be introduced to the collider a brand new py that'll serve as the final update of season 2. the collider is a huge tower created by the imagined order and it's officially the doomsday device that jon jones was talking about in the recent storyline challenges this is dr sloane's final plan and it looks menacing if you head to the collider you'll find all kinds of mobility items like siege cannons jet packs launch pads it even comes with a slipstream built into it if you try and get inside of the collider or stand on top of it it'll blast you away the area is also patrolled by io guards and there are over 17 edgement chests here for you to loot it is ridiculously stacked the problem is it's not very good for the rest of the island because the river that was originally leading from loot lake to sleepy sound has now completely dried up we've been building up to this doomsday device for months and now that it's finally here the last phase of the imagine orders plan is about to kick off the war will be coming to an end in this season's live event and there's a lot of talk about so let's break down what we know so far the event will officially take place at the collider pui it will also include the return of the mecha team leader yes an upcoming cosmetic pack has been leaked revealing the mecha weapons team bundle they're gonna be an arm robot squad it will include green orange and pink versions of the mech this means that we won't and in game while we're waiting we'll also be able to purchase two new skins from the item shop prisoner jonesy will be available but he'll be joined by someone we were not expecting to see again yes the paradigm will be making her return to the item shop for the first time in two and a half years she was a limited time skin and we've all accepted that she would never come back but epic is wins the war but as for the sevens plan they revealed a lot so jones has filled you in on our plans to repair the mech good between you and i getting that mech moving is our only hope repairs are underway but after the way we treated the paradigm i don't know if she'll pilot it we're communicating now but there's work to be done if she refuses to help we'll still need a pilot and you've proven choices but the best part of this thing is the diplodocus emote it even has the classic alien intro music but what really shocked the community was an announcement that a fan favorite poi is returning to the map in the future the block was removed years ago after a long history of controversies but it looks like epic are working on a new version of the block that works with the upcoming creative 2.0 and there's even more amazing content that was added onto the fortnite island in today's update here's everything else he secretly missed feel his driving shenanigans continue you can now find him map and it looks like he's gonna arrive just in time for the live event and that's not the only thing right around the corner because fortnite x fall guys is officially confirmed fall guys will soon be on the epic games launcher and is going free to play next month on all consoles fortnite also has a new competition in the works called the zuri tattoo contest the community can submit their own original tattoo concepts and the winner will receive 2 500 bucks and have their tattoo featured in game on zuri and while we're on the topic of league skins an upcoming nfl skin has been found by leakers it looks to be a crossover with patrick mahomes and adidas but hopefully we'll get more info soon and did a shocking turn of events you can now get banned for voice chat since proximity chat has been added to creative it seems epic is cracking down on toxicity over the mic so watch what you're saying out there and if you're a fan of no builds you'll be happy to hear that epic has finally
