army in in this futuristic fairy tale even the story line is all over the place the animation style is characterized by its unconventional distinctive and surreal Approach at the end of it all if only and the glow of childhood memories a grand adventure begins to find their lost connection in The Brave Little Toaster the story is about a group of household appliances a brave toaster a tender blankie a half bright lampy a witty radio big cannibals within a few days I've seen it happen and a Gruff vacuum cleaner named Kirby who missed their owner a young boy that they call Master and decide to go on a quest to search for him the film is like a horror version of Toy Story based on the Nolla of the same name while it may seem simple on the surface this film tackles some surprisingly deep themes like fear of Abandonment identity and purpose as the appliances experience feelings of worthlessness when they are not being used by their owner what are our instructions what do you mean what are we going to do today the same thing we've done for the last two Thousand Days chars like any normal' 80s animated movie the film is filled with scary and disturbing scenes such as a man enjoying disassembling the appliances an evil clown and numerous deaths at the junkyard while the cars are singing worthless as they face their demise after going through their nightmarish Journey they learn to treasure their past while courageously embracing the changes that lie ahead look at the size of this it's got to be half a mile high at least it must have taken hundred thousands of years to carve this thing hey look I made a bridge it only took me like what 10 seconds 11 tops in the silent depths of the deep blue where the secrets of the ages Slumber there arises a glimmer of hope to to lead the way to the Forgotten wonders of Atlantis the Lost Empire a young linguist named Milo voiced by Michael J fox follows in his late grandfather's footsteps by joining a team of explorers on an expedition to discover the legendary city of Atlantis unlike previous Disney animated features of its time which leaned heavily on musical elements this film focuses more on fast-paced action adventure filled with humor and witty moments forget your jammies Mrs Packard I sleep in the nude you're going to want to pair these she sleepwalks inspired by The Works of Jules Vern while the story is straightforward the characters are both fun and engaging yet what truly distinguishes the film is its beautiful anime like visual Style complemented by stunning action sequences in a path where others have failed one triumphs through determination to find his lost treasure and fulfill his dream [Music] you [Music] in days of yore there stood a city of gold its tallest Spire crowned with three gleaming orbs Legend foretold that the city's fate hung upon the presence of those sacred spheres for their absence would unleash chaos and bring ruin upon its Majestic streets in the thief and has faced numerous setbacks over its decades long production it holds one of the longest production times of 30 years but was never completed by Williams himself as a result various versions of the film exist but the one closest to Williams's vision is a fan restoration called the recobbled cut by Garrett Gilchrist while the film's troubled production history leaves its mark on the narrative its animation tells a different story alt together the vibrant colors fluid movements and distinctive character designs portray a masterful display of Animation the prophecy foretold that it would be the of my eyes at least I think it's my life was I ever dancing with an Android named Lupe Ben the strength of the film lies in the relationship between Jim and silver Jim a teenager grappling with goooo doll's frontman John Resnik singing one of its memorable Tunes adding a touch of melancholy that mirrors Jim's own emotional Journey lost Among the Stars yet in the pursuit of Treasure Planet
