Forgotten and Fully Furnished: An abandoned farmhouse amidst collapse

so there's a road here and there's a stop sign but it's so overgrown I couldn't resist turning around and seeing what's down here there's a stop sign right here it has to be a road you'd think but I mean look at this why is there a stop sign there's more like type of ruts up here see where to drive and it can't be like there is no like street sign like you know like what road this does there's tire tracks on it I don't think this would leave to someone's house let's hope I don't encounter any bad mud or anything four-wheel drive doesn't work you have some decently knobby tires on the rear but looks like there's gravel on here Oh up and down maybe this is just like an old minimum of maintenance road and I'm gonna just I'm guessing I'll just come out on a taro and on the other side a little bit of mud a little bit more mud oh goodness I'll update you and give you to give you a view here where I am on this mysterious road and on top of the truck here and so that's where I'm headed we'll see where it takes us here so we've been going for about a mile you finally have come out to some farm fields here and I'm interested to see if there's a stop sign at this end or a boo a road sign so now on this end it actually looks like a minimum maintenance road but before it was just complete grass I guess people don't come from that direction they drive down it from this way but we come out here to a gravel road perfect but there is no stop sign and no no street sign cool which way do we go you can't see that way I'm gonna say let's go down there maybe I'm not gonna go this way with two wheel drive might be hard to tell what they look like they're you know fairly fairly deep but then again I can just straddle them let's try it hopefully I don't regret this okay we made it made it around people were just driving off the road and going around them they're pretty deep you can never tell so there's a lot of snowmobile trail signs like this is just a trail I've got this big one here let's go around and we'll see where it takes us it's always good going down the minimum maintenance roads all right we made it to the other end well it's pretty fun very scenic going through the through the woods and stuff so I got a start heading north and going towards home but we're gonna go straight onto the gravel here I don't I don't like tar all right we gotta line it right in there and they've got bales here yeah doesn't look recent as far as like this year but looks like a pretty old one a really small bin still got shakes on that one a little tiny greenery back there all these little tiny buildings and over here a pretty small silo so the house the roof looks pretty good the one entryway is collapsed but let's check it out so power still on here they got some electric fence running so the wire goes up and down cut across to that building and looks like back there they've got cattle can't see any but didn't even see this guy peaking peaking through here cool car here here's to the late 40s Chevy Oh can't get it open bird in it I guess that was just the garage it looked like just a flat roof stays everybody got the old asphalt shingles I'm caught I'm caught up I'm gonna get my light out this one smells kind of moldy so we'll see all right got the basement run light setting sorry blender max here yeah she's that she's a Boeing see this fridges just leaning in pretty big house actually see the way over there this is a ton of stuff in it these floors like I can't see like it's gonna collapse just because of me but you just you never know don't sink over there washer wringer I'm gonna go I'm just gonna go around the outside of the house and you know all this stuff just left here CIA phone book there with 1982 on it so let's go around and I'll see what the other floors look like alright so here's on the front of the house I think the basement must just be really moist because the shingles are in great shape so we'll see let's go around this way first just wanted to see if there was a door over here too yeah so it's a pretty good sized house all the old windows so let's try to go in that front door and guys this is a good fine here Wow Oh hole I take that back this parts fine but that's just completely collapsing in into the basement huh so you had a kitchen over there and then a kitchen over here this is this is bad yeah it's not quite going through the floor but it's well on its way there but this floor over here looks really good just all this stuff is just left here and they didn't want to like take any of this out got all your records but it looks like this floor is sloping backwards but it's not like sinking in the center this is like everything it's so weird it's sloping out towards the the outside it's very very weird housekeeping like owls and a ton of books let's see this old newspaper 1992 and that's what that the thing I saw up front said as well this calendar still up from 1970 some more books and this is hard to get to I had to go through a lot of thorns and everything like it's surrounded yeah this is just left as is it's just so dang hard to hold this light and work the camera not very professional but I got this that one's from 1867 everything tons of clothing bottles plastic cups I'm guessing that's another closet so it just really stings that I can't get upstairs cuz it's probably filled with stuff so let's take a look at some of the other stuff over here it's kind of collapsing right where the stairs are but I'm gonna take a look around and see what else I can find that's really really neat I know if they had I don't know if they had like an estate sale one point but like you know like these jacks and these saws and everything in all these hand tools they're all in groups together you know which I don't know why I know I'm gonna purchase those in the 90s they were you know I mean the good tools so very interesting and it looks like they might have like put a new roof on just to preserve it after they knew it was gonna be vacant possibly but did not expect this usually they're pretty well cleaned out so but just take a look back over here that's where the stairs are where that lights coming through so even if I could get to them they'd probably be rotted out and I would not want to take that chance but very very cool very neat but anyways thanks for
