and today we will learn about how we can reset password once we forget the password of Jenkins okay so this is the biggest challenge to us like to reset our password in Jenkins because there is no sense to forget password link right so let's start and please keep watch my video upload so you will get a proper clearly understanding how we can reset the password so firstly what we need to do currently as we can see if we have forward our username and password we are unable to login okay so what we will do we will go to Upper C drive then users then our core folder of users then this is the folder already created whenever you install the Jenkins okay so dot Jenkins we will click on it and here you can see the config XML document okay so what we need to do right click on it okay and uh you need we need to open it in the notepad so let me open the concept file yes so this is what then opened with notepad press Plus so here you can see the user security where it is gone this one okay so if the use by default the user security would be true okay and login we are unable to login once we make it fault and save it okay and save it um okay so once we do it as a false again trying to open it our Port was at zero eight okay so here you can see what it is automatically gets logged in and now what we need to do it you need to reset the password so once we click on the manage Jenkins then go to the configure Global Security okay and here we know we need to click on the Jenkins own user database plan okay currently is by default I have checked it but whenever you comes in the first time so it would be shown here none okay so I select entrance all user database we will save it then we will go in the manage users okay so here you click on the settings icon or and create the new password so let's suppose I'm creating the password one and that's it okay now you can logged in see we have logged in now so this is all about how we can reset with anything's password if you like my video please like it don't forget to subscribe your new user keep watching for more updates and videos thank you
