there are F-150s as far as the eye can see EVS could lead to the destruction of Ford this line keeps on going and keeps going that's exactly what we've got to see more of from these dealers if they actually want to start moving some of these trucks and we have more I found where all the Mavericks are they're all hiding right here and it keeps going more trucks right here and it keeps going more trucks right here but the biggest problem for Ford right now is their Union contract that is expiring in September and guess what it keeps going I'm in the middle of a massive field right here of fleet vehicles more F-150s and I actually saw a Maverick a few Mavericks sitting over there so let's go let's go check them out F-150s F-150s all right let's climb up here all right so I wanted to get up here to show you all the way around me you can actually see I'm in the middle of a massive field right here of fleet vehicles so Ford just released their earnings and just like GM it was a beat and just like GM they raised guidance and also just like GM their stocks sold off why did that happen because investors see that there's trouble ahead for Ford all right and here's why you can't get a Maverick they're all sitting right here there's 25 of them waiting to be filled for their their Fleet doors or whatever but I want to see the prices of them here we go check this white one it is and XL so one of the base models and we have it's a 2023 xl's all-wheel drive and the total MSRP on this one is 26 885 that's what we need for it we need some 26 000 trucks and these Mavericks are sitting all around me and they seem to be all they're they're all XL models um so all the prices I'm seeing they're ranging anywhere from like twenty five thousand dollars up to like 27.5 and uh one of the big reasons why Ford is actually able to put up big numbers right now is because they're Fleet Sales it's more towards Fleet than it is to actually retail their their retail business is not doing that hot but their numbers are bolstered right now because of Fleet Sales and they actually have numbers uh the stickers on the uh these trucks these it's XL it's not a full four-door total MSRP and these are 23s they're not 24's yet 49 930 the problem with fleets though is that okay we went through these this two-year period where you couldn't get any trucks you couldn't get any of these vehicles that these companies needed because of the shortages but now they're able to ramp back up and they're able to get these companies these vehicles and so all of these companies are rushing to the door to try to get these fleet trucks but once they get loaded up and these companies get their orders filled of these fleet trucks it's going to be two three years again before they have to reload with uh with their their fleet vehicles and I actually want to find a four-door here's one uh four-door of one of these fleet trucks this is a XLT F-150s four-door it's a 2023 4x4 and the MSRP on this one is 58 660 dollars so this is one one thing that Ford's not going to be able to continuously pad his numbers with yeah their numbers look good right now but it's because of all this because of all these flea doors coming through and that's going to dry up in the next a few quarters it's going to dry up in the next uh next year or so all right so this over here is a shot that I just showed you from the top of my truck but I wanted to come over here to show you there are even more on this side of the parking lot you've got all your little I guess their little escapes or their eco so whatever that they have in the little SUV but you have just a full line of more of these Fleet Sales tons of them tons of them here so Ford just like GM has stated that they're actually seeing very strong Demand with their truck sales but I can go ahead and tell you that dealerships are not going to have to do that if it's as strong as they're saying it is I'll show you the fine print though come here up two all right this F-150 right here is actually called the trimmer package this is actually my I I really I really like the way that they set this up but this one's still it's a 2023 F-150 4x4 trimmer package still 76 000 it's crazy I love the way it looks the outside the inside's very cool but still way too much for a truck 76 000 crazy so their EV unit is a massive problem just in this last corner Corner quarter they lost 1.08 billion dollars just in one quarter 1.8 billion with a B billion lost it it's gone that's my poofing noise gone so on average right now Ford is losing about sixty thousand dollars per EV and in this year Ford actually expects to lose 4.5 billion dollars on in the EV space this is what investors hate okay yeah they want Ford to move forward but we got to do it better than this and losing 4.5 billion dollars this year in EVS when they're not selling nobody wants a Maki nobody wants afford lightning anymore one thing I will say about this dealership is I have not seen one add-on I have not seen one market adjustment on any vehicle that I've checked so this is a 2023 F-150 it's 4x4 and the total Ms is hilarious and the total MSRP on this one still is 72 865 dollars there's no add-ons there's no Market adjustments here that's a good thing bad thing from Ford truck seventy two thousand dollars that's crazy I'm not a big Tesla Fanboy I'm not crazy about Tesla but I know that Tesla makes a better product than Ford in the EV space and I know that Tesla is cheaper than Ford in the EV space why would anyone who actually wants an EV go to Ford they're not going to all right here's a F-250 Super Duty truck wheel we'll check this to see what they're wanting for this so it's a 2023 F-250 srw 4X4 Crew Cab total MSRP on this is 55 465 dollars all right so Ford's biggest problem though potentially could be that these Union contracts are actually expiring in September and because Ford is putting up good numbers right now it really doesn't give them very much uh weight in this in this battle that they're about to do with these unions because the unions are gonna be able to see hey you're putting up good numbers you're you're have good sales so you should be able to pay us more and Ford's going to be like you know what we've got a lot of hard times going ahead we're stacking up with trucks our F-150s days of Supply is going up and up and up and we're running into some problems and we can't afford to pay you guys more money but the unions see all these earnings and they're like yeah it looks like you're doing great so you know what you need to pay us or we're not coming to work one thing we didn't check on the last Ford video that I did was a Ford Explorer so let's check and see what they're getting for these so this is a 2023 Explorer STS four-wheel drive and the MSRP on this one 61 100 and ten dollars so sixty one thousand dollars and this is one thing that the stock market absolutely hates this is a massive massive uncertain thing for them to go into these negotiations because what everybody thinks is going to happen is Strike they're not going to come to a deal because these oems they know that they're going into some trouble times and they're not going to be able to afford to pay GM's talking about doing lots of Cost Cuts Ford's going to have to do the same thing and if they're trying to cost cut going going forward then they can't increase what they're actually paying a lot of these union workers all right so this is actually the first one I've seen of one of these this is just a base level two-door F-150 it's a XL we'll see what they want for it all right so this is a 2023 F-150 it's a two-wheel drive regular cab No Frills no nothing and the MSRP on this thing is still forty thousand dollars all right here's another row of Mavericks that consumers cannot get that one's got 27 000 MSRP oh they're more more over here too all right more Mavericks more Mavericks and this one is 27 000. they're all excels and this one is 27 000 so it looks like all of these are the same price but they've got quite a few of them uh they're all 20 23s all-wheel drive uh base models XLS and MSRP 27 300 all right I don't do this very often and you guys have been getting on me about just being all doom and gloom all the time there's not a lot good to say about the car market but when I do see good I will point it out and uh while I don't think Ford's prices are good I will say that at this dealership I've seen no markups no add-ons no over MSRP anything so I'll I'll give them a shout out it's Randy Marion in uh I think Statesville North Carolina is where we're at yeah so um no sponsors I mean they haven't they haven't talked to me whatsoever they don't even know I'm here but just give them a shout out because it's a good thing that I'm seeing this whole massive massive lot trucks they have trucks freaking everywhere but not one that I've seen yet has been over MSRP that's a good thing and I want to give dealerships credit when they're when they're selling at MSRP if they're not trying to rip people off don't get me wrong these prices are not good and hopefully you can even go inside and negotiate a little bit off of what they're trying to sell them for here off of MSRP but um no add-ons no markups no deal or anything here I like that that's a good thing good job Randy Marion of wherever we are North Carolina all right and after for reporting these earnings what happened to their stock it got hammered and on top of that it got some massive downgrades from a lot of analysts and what does downgrade mean so in the stock market their analysts there are people that actually cover each individual stock and as they study these stocks as they study the earnings that come out their opinions or their price ranges on these stocks will change so Ford came out with their earnings analysts for the most part did not like it so a lot of them actually said you know what we think this Ford stock NOW is is uh is too high and it's going to come down so they actually downgraded a lot of their estimates for where the stocks want to be in the next six to 12 months and that's that's a big bad sign because these analysts they're paid tons and tons and tons of money and they know these companies that they study in and out so that's why it's such a big red flag when you see a lot of these analysts that cover companies like Ford companies like GM start to come out with downgrades because they know a lot more than the general public does and a lot of times they know more about these companies than even the companies know as far as what they're getting into what kind of headwinds they're going to have to deal with and as they downgrade the stock it's a terrible terrible sign for the stock and for the company
