Fluffy Flexi Rod Set GEL FREE | 8 Flexi Rods | Camille Rose Naturals

hey loves keep on watching if you want to see me go from this to this beautiful flexi rod set using the horseshoe method with only eight flexi rods watch this [Music] [Music] all right you guys so you know i always start off with freshly shampooed and conditioned hair and i did go in and deep condition my hair as well so this is my hair about 70 dry so still pretty much damp and i'm gonna go in and separate my hair into four sections now i like to just go ahead and do a middle part which won't be like super duper visible at the end once you know we have the curls all fluffed out but i do this because this technique that i did with this flexi rod set really helped me achieve that nice round fro look so pay very close attention to how i'm sectioning off my hair and placing the flexi rods in now once i separate my hair into four sections i'm going in with the first product and it's the camille rose naturals honey hydrate leave-in conditioner now i just recently used this same conditioner in my flat twist out tutorial so make sure you guys check that out but i love this conditioner so much like it literally looks feels and smells like honey like it's amazing and it's honestly the sheen for me so like look as i'm making sure it's all throughout my hair it's just the shine like that is just one key thing i can say for a flexi rod set you want to make sure you have a great foundation so after i put that in that section i do make sure i apply this in all four sections with pretty much all the products i'm using i'm applying it to all four sections making sure that it's well distributed throughout the hair and well detangled now with this particular flexi rod set i'm going completely gel free so if you guys watched my latest uh video i talked about how i'm going gel free for the month of april so this is just one hairstyle that is completely gel free with only three products so as i'm putting this throughout my hair i'm going in with the second product which is the second base of this flexi rod set and it is the camille rose natural honeycomb whipped cream now i love this cream it's super light too it also smells great so i'm just applying that to all four sections as well twisting that up and then i'm going to get ready to show you guys how i install the flexi rods now this is my favorite technique which is the horseshoe method it's super quick and easy and it's comfortable to sleep on at night so i have four on one side and i'm going to show you guys how i install it starting with the back section first now with this back section is pretty thick so i'm going to separate it into two we have the bottom section and of course the crown area now i'm going in with the third product which is our styler and this is the spiked honey mousse i love this mousse it provides a great hold now i'm going to make sure with this mousse i apply it all over the section starting from the roots and the end because this is going to give our flexi rod some hold now as i do this flexi rod set i want you guys to pay attention to how i'm sectioning off my hair i feel like with this particular flexi rod set the technique that i did is what helped it create that very round fro shape so with this first section i'm going to separate it into two again and i like to do a little twist at the root this just kind of makes it you know a little bit more smooth and seamless from the root i'm going to bend that flexi rod in a horseshoe shape and then i'm going to do the first section so i'm wrapping around only the other half of the flexi rod literally just wrapping it in a wrapping motion and you want to make sure that as you wrap it you're making sure it's smooth and i like to kind of run my fingers around the ends to make sure it's as smooth as possible and i kind of soak up any extra product with a towel and then i'm going to bend up to lock that section in place so i hope that was you know explained pretty well you guys it's pretty self-explanatory as i twist the route i do like to make sure i go under and wrap around in that motion now i love doing this technique like i said because it's fewer flexi rods it's comfortable to sleep on at night and it still gets the job done because you only end up using half of the flexi rod if you do it for one section so why not use one by creating two sections i just feel like this is so innovative it's just my absolute favorite technique to do now i'm doing the exact same thing with the next portion or the crown area of my hair making sure i have that foaming mousse well distributed throughout that section then i'm going to separate that into two twist the root wrap around one side and then wrap around the other and lock it in place but i hope i explained that pretty well you guys um same thing for the front section but i'm going to explain it a little bit different in the front because i parted it a little bit different [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] now moving on to the front section pay very close attention to how i'm about to part my hair i'm going to start from the top and make a diagonal part going down so doing front sections like this is what helps create that nice round bang look with the fro i feel like doing it this way is will really help create make that nice round look and if i were to do it backwards i don't feel like i would have achieved that same look because i've done that before and it didn't give me that quite you know nice round look so same product combinations with the spiked honeymoons i'm going to take that first section split it down the middle and with that first portion i'm going to twist it as well and just do the exact same wrapping motion on the flexi rod [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] and this is how your head should look once you're done eight flexi rods in total and still comfortable enough to sleep on your side at night which is key for me now i did sit under the hooded dryer for about two hours and this is how my hair looks the next day and i'm just gonna coat my hands with some oil to minimize frizz and add some shine as i take the flexi rods down now there are multiple ways you can take it down you can just simply undo it and roll it down like that or you can just undo it and literally unwrap the flexi rods one by one on each side now mine got a little tangled but it's okay it didn't like make any you know frizz or anything [Music] [Music] and now for the separation part with each section i just make sure i go in and unravel and kind of twirl around and let the curls fall where they may now this is the key part when you made that twist at the root it kind of helped make additional sections so with additional sections and more separation you're just creating more and more [Music] volume [Music] uh [Music] and this is how my hair looks after separating i'm obsessed with it it's soft it's fluffy it's shiny i'm obsessed with the shape and for me my hair was still slightly damp so if i could go back and do anything different i would still make sure that it's 100 dry but that's the key definitely make sure your hair is pretty dry i didn't even have to pick it out as much because the volume was just already there so definitely let me know what you guys think about this three product combo no gel flexi raw set in the comment section down
