the free coffee it could be worse not today satan it's better at my imagination i'm over it nope okay this is may 22nd it's my birthday my daughter got me these cards which we're clearly having fun with which we're having fun with um happy birthday sister thank you you're old yes we went to snohomish and walked around to the antique shops we did yeah i lasted about i don't know what and then she went i'm over it but i sat down you did when you almost passed out and we lost ed a few times and um i just when you said you were going to pass out it made me think of you in the yardage store with mom and i oh they used to go to the fabric store oh my gosh and they'd sit down look at the patterns that's when i knew it was over anyway hi hi i think i said it saturday may 22nd and i said that this is flosstube and this is a channel about cross stitch project bags nope cards and jokes applique and she remembered her jokes so how can you tell if a sewing machine is trustworthy make sure you're not behind it it seems legit i don't even get that it seems seen oh s-e-a-m legit oh it seems legit oh i'm funny she's got another one i i can't remember anymore so all right so don't remember any more sign jokes okay i'm out of material that says nope if you can't read it it's a nope doesn't it yes um so what's been going on in your life nothing what's been going on in your daughter-in-law's life it has been a heck of a week and um so let's see we'll start with simona got her first um dose shot and uh i don't know what to call she got scared so that happened this weekend what i missed it she clung to my neck you know that thing oh oh oh brother um and then our daughter-in-law in california went into the hospital and um just she had pain just champagnes in her and her she had a blockage in her intestines she had a lot of cramps and yeah so that she had to be hospitalized yeah and so then they found out thank you then they found out that she had um cancer cells so they're going to go in and her scar tissue would work causing the blockage it's bent too yes at the bend so they're going to go in and take um 12 inches of the colon and then um if she's fine if then they're going to check the lymph nodes and she's fine she's fine if they find cells in lymph nodes and she'll go into some sort of chemotherapy so and then she told let me help you so then she they her and matt cheryl's son sat down to tell the kids oh they have four kids two boys two girls the youngest acts very much like i was when i was little yeah but it looks like me yeah but cuter and so they went to sit down to tell the kids and of course you know you're emotional and the kids were emotional and maddie the youngest was crying and and then she um looks at her mommy and says i just have one thing to ask just to have one thing to ask and she's thinking she's so sweet and so you know thoughtful sarah was thinking and maddie goes is this hereditary there's a narcissistic tendency of all of us even little children but it helped break up the intensity of moments although maddie didn't understand why everybody was laughing that probably was weird for her yeah wow yeah it's just it's all the wait and see that causes the tenseness and we always as humans go to worst case scenario yeah um so those are waiting is the worst i know that for a fact who are prayer warriors please be praying with us yes so naked don't knock over that camera because and then your aunt is directly impaired and she couldn't do this right and then we came up here so i couldn't torture myself enough i had to come up and see sister yeah and then our tripod actually wasn't the tripod it's this thing that you put the camera in the camera which is exactly what it did so we got it all we almost got it in and then the bolts fell out and the bolts fell then we got it in and we thought just i'm like i don't understand this just won't screw down then ed came home and said turn it around the other way turn the camera the other way we went oh then he said where are you going to put it and i said well i don't know but we got this card i know how to make the director let's go and he goes something go really long and i went oh because i thought i was going to have to move this iron over he doesn't know that part but now we have all these bolts that don't go to anything let me know uh that's what mark did when he worked on the car oh we don't need this anyway so what about your life what's it like being 67 now i will i found i don't have time but i don't when i'm it's just me right in lincoln and i do chat with lincoln i mean i don't really chat but i'm and i do probably speak to myself while i'm stitching and sewing however not enough but when people are here i get a sore throat from talking because i don't so um it was really fun seeing anna in the grocery store the other day oh i didn't see her but you did yeah oh yeah sorry yeah too bad you didn't see it cheryl saw anna yeah from stitch roadies and or roadies yeah it was fun to see her in the grocery store we kind of surprised each other yeah cheryl hugged her and i went to acorns and she went to eight course and tell janine what you did cheryl what i did tell janine what you did so i brought up all tell everybody what i did otherwise everybody else turn your camera off right now if you don't want to hear what i did only janine gets to listen to this no don't do that anyway so i'll be calling you wednesday janine for my stuff so i um bought the stuff and i had some stuff for colleen in there and um i put left in my car because i thought i'm going to make sure leaving my car i just have to put it over into the truck i won't forget i won't forget i won't forget yeah i left it in the car because whenever we do a flosstube why do you need the stuff to show anybody that's just an unnecessary moment well in the tubes of the floss i made sure that i had everything else everything else yeah um and we actually we went antiquing you went in we'll get to that part because you have some haul but otherwise i haven't done anything except for applicating stitching a bit a little bit finishing something making the project better well we did go to a place we walked by a place in snohomish that said what was it this girl takes no bs or something like that this takes down takes it like that that's calling that is calling um and we went to lunch yeah for her and which was really really good the first time i ever did i'd cut some trees down to cut all the trees down that um around this one tree specifically i wanted to cut down so that one guy specifically wanted to cut down with jill was standing he did all the other trees and the blackberry bushes behind the other side of my fence on the county's property and decided that tree was pretty trendy to stay it actually is a pretty dreamy and he did finish yeah but i'm you know i'm being silly yeah yes you are this always happens i ask him to do something and he goes okay okay he goes out there just does what he wants he was out in the back forty i go what are you doing here because i'm making you a pass so you can come out big black bears i'm not gonna go out and pick blackberries i want that yes the tap is back i want the blackberries there because i know no bad people are going to come through the brambles well now they have a path now they have a path to come right into my backyard no they don't they could pick blackberries on their way leave them with you yes here lady give it to your dog give him a purple face you know what else happened oh what i won something oh for the first time ever we're not well we're not there yet i know but i'm so excited i won something i won something i won something guess what i know you won something too just isn't fair why can't you just let me win something without you winning something well actually you have to uh well and you did you you were on something and you responded and so you didn't but you have to be you know you have to be you have to well typically i'm in the shower interact jump out torture oh jeez that's just so happening i was doing work i was yes doing books i went oh i'm going to do this yeah um but then as far as flosstube i've been watching um all the new uh quilting fabric lines that are going on and that's i've been watching a lot of the of the virtual quilt shows yeah riley blake's virtual and on facebook and then um sewing machine plus they're virtual yes everything's virtual yeah except for that one antique or a quilt or it's not an antique shop it's a cutesy shop i can't wait till it's not virtual fully i like for just in my face it's grandma's said it's a good oh dear better there then he missed me didn't you i did i bet you missed me of course um okay we i don't have a lot of stitching but how about some whip i have some you have some i do oh my gosh she's gonna pull some out that she didn't show me yes no i showed you all three of them okay so i'm still working although i've made a change on this i'm where'd it go i'm still working on the colleen cow it's dimensions um sweet cow see colleen cat calling cow and it up there a little longer oh how long two three four five how long five six seven longer down is it okay now yeah all right so i added the rest of this but i got frustrated little arms i got frustrated and i hate this fabric this is that so that's aydah so she's gonna use uh the gum yeah i'm gonna use lugana so whatever she doesn't like the exes i don't like whatever you stitch on it's still x just so yeah no i don't like the cup i like it i know i i love that when we were watching um vonna's um oh i'm going to try that too when you when cheryl leaves i'm going to go back and watch vana's um you're leaving early early tomorrow right yeah i am as quick as i can but anyway father did a punch needle tutorial oh man so good yes so this now i can't wait to hear what she's going to say this one i actually haven't punched any more needle anymore needles i haven't stitched stitched anymore in and this is busilla's rooster daisy come here up up higher okay how long do you want me to hold it okay have some fun i wasn't stitching in it because i was sitting there thinking because i hate this fabric too it's really stiff it but it's pretty so you need to find that color of the ground did you look on pack prairie schooler in november prairie school or november how long do i get to hold this that's good and i've decided that i've started with the larger with a larger one but i'm gonna do both of them but this is this is on 32 count lugana and that's how far i got i actually sat here and stitched yeah i can't believe it i had time to stitch so i'm really happy with that i'm ready for fall yeah we put in our garden i'm ready for fall no she did so that's why that's my whips we forgot about that but we'll get there oh well because you put in the garbage the garden got overshadowed by my girls this week yeah but the garden let's go in the garden before i show you my whip okay cheryl has the cute little herbs in her backyard and lettuces and lettuces cute ones and in a raised bed a big raised bed i think it's 40 feet the neighbors which remember they confiscated the neighbors property to put um ugly stuff tomatoes cucumbers peppers all that stuff then the other neighbors no then we have our down below we're not our property okay down below which is cantaloupes and yeah squashes and cauliflower and you could have put a lot down there and then um over at denise and ed so our other neighbors ed who have a greenhouse who would have the greenhouse um and ask them if you could have a bit of their land because our two acres aren't enough ed should be amish he community and then he told me the other day he said you know i really like um christine's applejack okay wait so so did he did he so he's wait no we are we couldn't go upon him they said yes and they said what's plant there watermelon there's probably 12 watermelon watermelons going over there and then over at jim's christine across the way with the moose they what did dad put in the pond fast what did jim say about ed putting bats in the pond don't put bass in my pond what did ed do when jim passed away went and asked christine if he could put bass in the pond ed's going to hell and then he asked her if he could have her apple tree have it yes he's gonna take it he's gonna dig it up maybe it's part of the estate oh god my whip so if we're in jail you don't kind of know why brim and proper by it's so emma designed by laurie holt a bee in my vomit who has beautiful fabric now cheryl likes her hands i love i was mesmerized i could just sit there and watch her hands and her listen to her voice all day we pretty much and that's my whip can they see it yes i can see through higher hold it long so i got only um this part i'm almost they can't see it a little bit longer they can see it just fine keep it up and your butt's getting up and you're taking it to the camera okay so that is what i got done or i got whipped what i'm whipping on legit come here no um for cross stitch i do have a finish i'm hoping this week to get into back into my quilt room oh yeah because you have you she has a plan guys listen she's oh yeah i have a plan because i like things i have to have a plan i'm a planner i have to have a plan if i don't have a plan i just won't do it so i have a plan when i go into my workshop i'm going to work on my wool applique for an hour and i i hurt my back recently so and still it's sore from when i fell so um the chiropractor told me you need to get up and i have these exercises i have to do and i and i'm walking more and doing other stuff so i'm gonna wake up i'm gonna do my wool application michelle i'm going to rest for a few minutes for like an another hour go do something totally up where i want good idea and then i'm going to come back and i'm going to work on my quilts for an hour and then only an hour because you're also gonna gonna um yes then i go away for an hour and then come back i'm gonna take my class of um linda herkles and do that i'm hoping to do it at least for an hour and then stop for another hour so an hour focused not saying that i can do more but at least that we'll see how long that lasts i'm like anna anna literally said on her quilt on her stitch roadie she said you know somebody told me that if you have you know do finish three things do add one more thing finish three things she said i can only do finish one thing add one thing and then the next literally the next video she says so i had to put everything aside and start because she has to get ready for that quilter's affair i know but it made me laugh there it all went yeah well and i'm gonna be just like that i know it i don't even set rules for myself because i don't follow even my own well if i don't have something i won't do anything because i just that's how i am i don't know i wouldn't you just sit there and be real pretty you know when i say do you have anything nope marshall's like oh no i don't want to go upstairs and i sail is that literally how i sound that it gets higher but i'm going to laugh [Laughter] anyway that is the rest of the story can you think we're sorry we're weirdos tonight oh ed ed he has a crush on hannah oh and he doesn't love him oh my gosh he made us what he goes where'd she go yes then we put her on when she was with stacy of buttermilk basin and her hair was cut yes and he said she looks just like my sister-in-law who just passed away look i said i said anna i believe is korean and japanese and and crystal was hispanic confused i see what it's the eyes i think it's the sweetness yeah they were both very sweet and so i don't know what the name could build out a word well i bet anna can't tell well you only know that she did so anyway hopefully i get to go out with them for lunch hopefully they'll let me come to lunch tonight that is interesting they didn't invite you i know i'm so wounded kind of funny all right guys have a wonderful couple of weeks love you i will get stuff i don't know what i'm gonna do under there i hope it's yeah lincoln went under the titty and this is the lord hope needle book could you open it up no but you can't because i don't have a heart in mind well mine is is happening now mine's happy stuff oh okay so these are fully finishes um and i think that's all my fully finishes because i've i have no fully finishes i've been appliqueing and embroidering so how about haul and so clever i'm like i threw mine out yeah and i'm always needing bookmarks so that's that and then she also got me i'm not sure where she got me this but it's um oh the little red hen the little farm girl loves goats farm girl goats loves goats a little red hand this is talked about this place and so did it's a pin cushion i take it yes yeah it's a little red here and then um we went to quilting mayhem here in snohomish is she in snohomish so i've been looking for quilts to make for our rv so this one is by pine tree um country quilts and it's called fresh catch my husband is a fisherman extraordinaire so i'm gonna do that i already have the fabric i was looking for the pattern um that i like to go with it and then i also got from um bound to be quilting um i have some um panels that i want to make for my neighbors for christmas and this one i like this pattern so it's called holiday company oh that's there we go and then also for the rv this is by coach house designs it's called coast to coast usa so that's the pattern and then i got the panels this is actually a pillow panel of um california california as you said in parks and so oh wow um i forget who this is by uh bradley blake is it riley blink because she didn't know that yes riley but riley blake so i have the pillow panels and then i also have two or three two i got you one two three three three of the parts to make the quilts out of and and what are the parks you have time oh i guess i'm trying to rush so you have time um the first one is well i'm fumble fingers now because i'm rushing they're so big there's no reason to i know i know there's a knife but i am but don't this must be crater lake yeah crater lake lake little wolf in there or a coyote and then this one is oh this one was yellowstone this is yellowstone buffalo this was our first major rv trip and then mark did stop there did he wasn't a drive-by yeah i don't know how you couldn't what did you just throw over here the pillow and then the last one is grand canyon which is our next big trip that we want to do mark did drive by that but did you know you can get postcards in the grand canyon he informed me upset and then the last thing i got from them was um this they had their um quilt packages what are they quilt when you have it all put together kit kit then fill together and um this is by bear but bear a quilt works and it's called walden and you can't really see it very well but you can kind of see the pattern because the the material is is water colored so let me show you the material oh you put it up i said her hair was beautiful down i know but those bangs get in my eye so here's the here's the fabric and see how it's very water colory and ethereal i think that's good it's kind of grungy like you said my house was on the outside i meant that as a compliment saying you look like you're gonna get it no so anyway it's just do i have to push it is it on we're back so the cabin is um just just i mean it's so pretty can you see that cabin can you see it yeah it's very it's it's though it's the water color it's half of the fabric a quarter of it so that's that that's cool and then today we went to um to the antique stores and i found a ceiling tile i thought that would be really cute for cross stitch it reminds me of dr vickery i'm not sure if i'm going to use that side or this side i know they want it to be the other side but and then thanks to theresa koget i found a cutting board that i want to use as a finish and then i got this cute little basket i want to put that's adorable a cross stitch on the on i'm thinking i could do it on two sides yeah so four if you do four if i wanted to and then um i found these cute little oh cute i found those oh yeah you did that's why they were part of your christmas birthday present thank you i saw these things you gotta take the brush off this one i thought you know how much they are that's nice and hefty so these are two antique spools right yeah thank you you're welcome and then last but not the least i'm so excited about this my um we have some new friends that we're getting acquainted with and their daughter um sews bags and so this is her diaper bag but cheryl's gonna have a project yeah or carry over stuff so her um and we'll link it below her store is mercy gray oh oh i have my glasses on mercy grade design um and she's on etsy and she has her own website as well but i'll win she'll link it down below but here's the bag it's because i love pendleton pendleton is in oregon so here's the bag oh i'll turn it this way first so that's the front of the bag and then it has you know that's supposed to be for bottles but it's gonna be for scissors probably for me glasses yeah and then the back it could also be a backpack it has the straps for the backpacks leather wool leather hole yeah and then the inside is canvassed and i don't know if you can yeah you can see it there's just so many pockets in here i mean you know those babies or quilters yeah stitchers so i mean it's so cute even the just the details the leather is a little arrow and so cute so anyway i just love it and um she's a small business and so go there and though you can't have been started for less so we're gonna finish up the gardening get our shot and i'm hoping this week to get into back into my quilt room oh yeah because you have she has a plan guys listen she's oh yeah i have a plan because i like things i have to have a plan i'm a planner i have to have a plan if i don't have a plan i just won't do it so i have a plan when i go into my workshop i'm going to work on my wool applique for an hour and i i hurt my back recently so and still it's sore from when i fell so um the chiropractor told me you need to get up and i have these exercises i have to do and i and i'm walking more and doing other stuff so i'm gonna i'm gonna do my whole application michelle bendy's i'm i'm awake and then i'm gonna rest for a few minutes for like an another hour go do something totally up where i want good idea and then i'm going to come back and i'm going to work on my quilts for an hour and then only an hour because you're also going to gonna um yes then i go away for an hour and then come back i'm going to take my class of um linda herkles and do that i'm hoping to do it at least for an hour and then stop for another hour so an hour focused not saying that i can do more but at least that we'll see how long that lasts i'm like anna anna literally said on her quilt on her stitch rowdy she said you know somebody told me that if you have you know do finish three things do add one more thing finish three things she said i can only do finish one thing add one thing and then the next literally the next video she says so i had to put everything aside and start because she has to get ready for that quilter's affair i know but it made me laugh there it all went yeah well and i'm going to be just like that i know it i don't even set rules for myself because i don't follow even my own well if i don't have something i won't do anything because i just that's how i am i don't know i wouldn't you just sit there and be real pretty you know that she did so anyway hopefully i get to go out with them for lunch hopefully they'll let me come to lunch tonight that is interesting they didn't invite you i know i'm so wounded all right guys
