Florida Vlog Sept 2019 | Travel Day | BA Premium Economy & Check-in at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

good morning and welcome to our trouble technology so we are here at the Hilton in Gatwick Airport because we are flying today to Orlando and then we're going to Disney World and I'm so so excited and we are saying and I don't looking to lodge for the first part of this trip then we go to Universal then we come back to boardwalk it is just so exciting and I can't believe today is travel day if you are new to my channel welcome my name is Karen and if you have been here before you'll know that animal kingdom is like one of our favorite favorite hotels we absolutely love it so it's no surprise that we're heading there first on this trip so like I said we are staying in the Hilton here at Gatwick so and we're gonna get ourselves ready and then we are gonna start making our way over to the terminal our flight isn't till quarter past eleven today which is kind of a nice time we didn't have to get off crazy early it's only about what ten plus seven new Rachel's checking her watch hold on okay so it's 13 minutes past 7:00 and we were aiming to sort of leave here about eight o'clock and because Rachel can check in from quarter past eight I actually did Twilight check in yesterday and so if you'd like to see that you do check out my pre traveled a lot but yeah I'm just like somebody I better go get myself ready and then we will head over to the airport we are just ready we're just about to leave and I'll give you a little peek at my travel day over I definitely gone for a comfort today and I'm wearing my airplane mode top and now this is a precious from Blair land designs on etsy and I've also got just a little necklace that I got in Primark and then I'm wearing these super comfy and Hollister leggings they're really light but they are so so soft or they're not leggings do more like sort of proper tracksuit bottoms they've got pockets and everything and but they're so light and so comfortable I love them and then I've got my m1 Disney Cinderella shoes from one of the run Disney races that we did in Walt Disney World I've got like pretty minimal makeup because and we're gonna take it off on the plane anyway and but it's nice just to feel a little bit fresh for a travel day so yeah we're really excited now to head over to the airport we're gonna get Rachel checked in I need to pop to boots and just pick up a little bit more cold and flu and but I am feeling a bit better today which is good and my ears are still a little bit blocks I'm hoping and they sort of unblocked as the morning goes on before we fly and yeah and that's pretty much it rachel's want to show you travel day over okay so rachel has the same actually let me show the airplane mode thing cuz it was hard for me to show in the mirror and there we go airplane mode so she's got the same top one in purple and the Calvin Klein Megan's these leggings are awesome because they have pocket we got them and originally in Orlando in black but then Rachel picked up the grey when she was in Vegas oh yeah they are long length yeah we got to record link once in we last time we're gonna try to pick up some more at me because they are so comfy yeah there that's a nice length I like that you're gonna be stylish nice [Music] [Applause] [Applause] come out and play it started and I promise I love you much better the sour taste the wash away because I promised you promised [Music] so we are just in the got what number one mileage and we've got ourselves some babies the fight how we treat ourselves to a little more an injury and then we've actually just awarded and food so and we come in they give you like a low sign you know me or do you think it'll take okay we're just gonna chill here we're gonna be like we're just seem like we just happen we talk as much as we normally would about this holiday in the build-up to it I don't know why any proposed has been really hidden I like normally we'd be talking about like all of our plans below like in the build-up to we've said like we I've made a plan of me send it back afford that changed few things book yeah we haven't liked rough really been talking about it so now we're getting really close [Music] so we have just finished up in the number one lane and we've come into Dixon's Rachel's looking to get some beats of wireless earphones so M she's got a couple of town I actually got a pair already in there so good so I'm yeah I think she wants some too so rachel has purchased her wireless beats and which is very hot actually got them in navy which is quite cool color I'll show you them over on the plate and we just popped in still you hate Smith to get some last-minute essentials we got some smart water and some plain sight so I think I don't know did we just touch the gate now it doesn't say forward yeah I don't think so we can just go chill at the gate maybe a matrix open if we hang around here we're gonna spend more money so I'd rather have more money in Florida for shopping this [Music] we've just boarded rachel is opening our little pack of goodies but we got I'm on the demonstration is Japanese I appreciate it I saw everything yeah bleep bomb oh that's quite good I don't remember getting lip on last time Oh a person toothpaste I have polgase in my bag did you say cocaine oh it's such a slow heart rate Alyssa this is obviously a new thing and the lip balm Oh I like the little pouch it comes in though that's quite nice and then we've also got headphones here and so I haven't opened my pack yet we get headphones swell yeah we've got a really nice-looking blanket oh yeah Rachel has her beat here unfortunately I wish they came with every slice of you guys and then you're opening them out for the first time it's a I look a little past I come in or I do like the Navy I'm happy isn't a nice happy it's a happy shopper right there is a psycho not once or twice but every time you started [Music] if you say that you don't [Music] but I just we are now up in the air and be both myself ever led and they cover a witness first and drinkin service so I actually just got am it's very strong though it's not like a hole that will orange juice bar clip water but it's really nice but it is quite strong that Rachel went for a vodka coke and if we also got little pretzel rachel loves little petals she's very happy right now if they also then ask those available Orion for dinner so am I picked up yeah we should we boat actually chose some white stuff dinner so it's hoping that's going to be Cindy you said are you talking to me and I said no anyway that rachel has her new wire to their phones a boy just watch it on her phone ah yeah I think dinners gonna probably write quite soon see that well yeah like we keep taking off on time and according to the fight time it's a territory five minutes and up they should be Lansing on time which is perfect Joe oh you want to show off much of what you were doing Rachel wants to show you her earphones there's so nice are you about it that can't be Sneyd you got that one thing that's up to par by it's not your styling it's not your jeans no God is the only one who can see so we have just finished our meal and Rachel check it out you didn't show me your meal and what yet you have Rachel had chicken and I have passed over the pastor was like spaghetti the desert was pretty nice though it was not me that was hurtful but rages chicken storages oh I wish I bought the chicken but anyway people at a cemetery we're drinking the rest of our wine to me dinner as Rachel to say I demonstrate we've actually just been served and t-there I think of it how about a man maybe trying something we don't we don't sleep on the way over so we're going to see if we can just get even just like probably not maybe just have an expressed feel this joy that we're going to taste better too so do that for the rest of my troop prevail yes a platoon of her this so yeah we still got another six errors and 15 minutes Joe our fight is going pretty well but he got about two arrows neck which is awesome and my ears seem to be able to okay that the figures crowds we're both actually edit Spri no I thought she just sat Rachel so that she can edit for my and because like a whole week of dogs that go before this trip of lava storix so she's actually edited my long at that might cloud through the trip and I'm attitude we've already seen them think they're gonna come very shortly and maybe with like the laughs that appeal there are three jumbo jets locked at around the same time are a virgin what anatomical managed to get through immigration pretty quick people and yeah not like oh that we don't chat though the races ought to get to ever see them so we've just got our last little meal before we left it's a margherita pizza which looks quite nice actually here what is this a little with orange and lemon zest life complete Rachel might be able to tell us the verge of a nice cool we have just made it which is the trustee to change this for leader there buddy you probably nor later words world lasting they hold on to the hammer the ATF is approaching the main terminal building with ATM stops please exit and follow signs to baggage claim okay so we're just picking up the car from Avis we're just you know that little vehicle check which we always do so we always just take a note of any marks on the car like these ones here just in case we ever need to refer back to it we already just in the car and we're driving to Adam okay the moon I'm so excited and we got through immigration in about one hour maybe a little over an hour and it was movin like super so at the start so follow me I think we're gonna be here for ages and then sort of after what Bentley 25 minutes half an hour just sped up officer and we did about this like in half an hour we only did like one woodrow of people because the room was really dark and then all of a sudden another Hafner we did like four and yeah the obviously just took more stars or something that was really so annoying so we're just going up now to the exit for I'm so excited we'll be going to the side very shortly yeah it's just I'm so glad we're here my ears I have did pop off playing on the way damn that was quite sore but am I now cut here very well so I have no idea how loud I'm speaking and I ever know and then Rachael's talking to me and I'm not hearing her but what are than that we're doing pretty well I'm pretty excited together oh my god repeat enter Disney property you ready three two one we're doing to myself co-department I lost my key oh my god I'm so excited just able to say that's a home to us when we go in that's gonna make my hair oh you can see me in the way [Music] [Music] okay so we just got our magic bump and we're going to the room oh my god okay right hold the door and let's bring the cases in so we've just come into our room we were told that check in that we have a Sun sets of fan of you which is so amazing because we didn't pay for that we weren't expecting it oh my God look and we've never been on the same level as the lobby oh my god it's the best room ever I'm so excited oh so as you can tell we are super super excited I was not expecting to have a savanna view on this trip and we do and the room is amazing and it's so close to the lobby I did put in a request because the lobby but like we're so close to the lobby and we always have a huge walk when we stay here in this time we don't and we've got a Sun sets of out of you which means that the Savannah that we look over will just have a great like sort of that behind it and it's gonna look amazing okay I have to do a room tour because I always always forget you to the room tour and then we mess at the room and then it just doesn't look as good so I'm gonna turn the light on and we're gonna explore the room for the first time together now we have never stayed in an Animal Kingdom Lodge room that wasn't a TV serum and so you're kind of exploring along with us okay so we've got a cupboard here on the right hand side as soon as you walk in the door and a giant mirror on the left hand side let's see what this cupboard space looks like oh cool so we've got some hangers down here a safe shelf and then extra pillows other side we've got full-size hanging storage and then the top here and then in on the Left we have the bathroom wash them oh man wash cool that was very good so this is a real different layout isn't it to the DVC room so we've got the sink in here and we've got a nice big mirror oh we've got a nice looking bath look at that like look at the EM this door for it this is my Coonan you get Spencer's oh oh boo to dispensers we have so much h2o products now anyway though we really don't need it and then your little washing line is up over the shower and look at that huge showerhead there's two showerheads which is just I don't know what's going on there oh it's like it's an accessible room as well and then we've got yeah so it got tells here and our toilet and then underneath the sink there don't think these are drawers no they're not we've just got I think that's our hairdryer and then a little bit of extra storage there it is so different to the DVC room well and we've got a shaving mirror Hakuna Matata oh okay then back out here look we've got a carry you say some TV by the TV oh yeah we've got a huge TV and it also takes em screen sharing which is awesome and so yeah we've got a Carrick and coffee machine which is great I wonder if we have some coffees is that what's in here oh look oh that's amazing that's so cool and look we've got like a little take wake up so we can make our own coffees Kingdom is and coffee may I look copying and look there's like a cool little Savannah view behind it like look at that and we've got glasses we've got an ice bucket oh my gosh I'm so excited I think these are making sort of like a little Hidden Mickey they're quite cool and Oh fridge got fridge down here and yeah like everything is so different so surprised I think if this seems like it's been refurbished recently so it looks like so fresh and clean okay and then we have this dresser here and look we've got and massive TV and I am we've got like USB sockets which is so handy or yoga yeah plug sockets we've got all of our drawers then so we can store clothes and these are all of our packages that we had delivered to the resort yeah oh my god so Blair Lam is the tops that were wearing I think I told you earlier I am so we ordered two more of them yeah there's so many something so Rachel's just pointing them all out yeah so we've got sockets over here we've got double bed more sockets on USB ports and then more sockets in USB ports so we are sorted for sockets and USB ports and but yeah the bed's look awesome I'm so excited for it could sleep in these buds Jon Jojo go and then ready and then of course we have this locker here but of course we have the amazing savanna view on the balcony and we've got our chairs there a chair - sorry about table and oh my god this is out of you and I'm so happy oh I am so so happy look oh it smells like Animal Kingdom Lodge I'm so happy to be back here I'm so happy okay so Rachel is digging into the packages she's just got this see you real soon it's that not mine I think it is yeah that one's yours make waves yes airplane motor it almost be ones I guess he didn't get to graybles yeah yeah I think you've got that you've got something else in grey I don't think oh yeah I like them so I got this airplane mode one in grey cuz I love my airplane mode one and then yes awesome okay so next we have Sephora touch your eye spotted oh yeah and I will do a proper Sephora haul but I'll leave ratio to dig through her goodies right now so I the other theme were all checked in we've left all our stuff in the room and we are actually going straight to Animal Kingdom so we're gonna drive over and we're just walking into the car now I'm just so happy are you happy yeah I feel like this is like the best arrival day we've ever had we respond in such a great mood and the room is just unbelievable it's so good we're so happy with the room and as we had a really nice check-in and stuff we actually ordered am special magic wands like the ones that you pay for and they weren't available but the girl was so nice that was serving us every name was Shannon I think and she was lovely so we'll make sure to give her a compliment yes so hopefully our magic wands will be there soon um but yeah we just still had a really nice check-in experience and as you seen the room was just awesome I love it I never going to another Kingdom yeah we're so close to the lobby oh my god we've never been that close so it's gonna be perfect we're like pretty the way that were ever oh we were so far last time and like we drag in our cases on the carpet it was like insane wasn't it was so bad yeah it was really was such a struggle I'm like when we were checking it as well like you're already in a bad mood because you leave in and then like we were dragged in these cases on the carpet and it was so hot but none of that this time because we were literally like steps away from the lobby oh I'm so happy so yeah we're gonna head to Animal Kingdom we've got a fast pass for a navvy river journey and I think we were fast past four meet Mickey and Minnie but we may not do meet Mickey Minnie because we're feeling a bit worse where I don't know I was thinking when I booked our Fast Pass but we'll see when we get there and I'm excited just to go look around Pandora anyway yeah we're going to security canteen so we might actually that first will we go straight and get some food huh oh the fast bus is until at the last hour of the park opening so it's like five to eight five two nine well here where's our car that's our car I think that's a car this is a car we've got em IKEA we got quite a big one this time but it was really handy because we've got huge luggage which is a spaceship you're looking it is Oh space ship earth we call them fish yeah okay you have a right [Music] [Music] eh did yours go a different colour my my pink and then green did it went like bright pink and then green I thought something was wrong oh yeah but your magic pants blue that must be a new thing so we're just in the animal kingdom this is like the best travel day we've ever had like just arrival it's just been amazing so we're walking over it straight just to the canteen got a feed the bellies most important to me and Rachel has been thinking about those cheeseburger pods the whole way here twelve months of dreaming of these cheeseburger pods so that we have to go straight there and get that first and then we'll decide what we're gonna do next for coming into pandora and it's like a perfect time because it's just starting to get dark so like it's so nice setting and all the lights are gonna start coming on just perfectly I can't believe we're here I'm so happy le chica I can't stop smiling [Music] Oh it's like always blows my mind we'll come in here [Music] let's go inside them you'll be waiting for these cheeseburger plugs for so long there it is we have cheeseburger vegetable chips and also and then we got one of the emigration say Neal rachel has gone for parish yeah I got some and Rachel is took him into her cheeseburger pot and she looks so happy the Rachel's a hot meal quicker than I've ever seen it has disappeared I'm always the one finish first and she finish wave shortly and she's already eaten her half the cheesecake so I'm gonna have my first bite now [Music] people are really hitting my name at the first part that we proceeded to get missed by both slightly favoring service so we are just hadn't gone to the univee river journey now we have a hi thank you this is just a view from the nether [Music] organizer because we saw some but it's so cool [Music] huh [Music] so we are back in our room now and we're just heading to bed I were both pretty tired at this stage and we did pick up our resort' mugs actually I'll show you what I thought I went for the Halloween mug which I think it was really cool and I just got some vitamin water given the cold situation I thought that was the best shape and but yeah we're gonna get ourselves to bed because we're gonna get up nice and early in the morning I'm head to galaxy's edge for the very first time which I'm so so excited for but it has been a fantastic travel day I hope you've enjoyed following along with us and yeah I hope you'll join us for the
