Florida Strawberry Festival Time 2022!

hey everyone we are at the strawberry festival crystal the lion's moving keep moving it keep moving it so we're at the oh gosh crystal's about to fall we're at the strawberry festival and the first thing we're going to do is get some strawberry shortcake so we're at the build your own shortcake station here at the festival crystal's so excited she has her strawberry shirt on she's ready to eat oh make sure to take a paper take it so if you've never been here or watched one of our vlogs of getting this self-serve strawberry shortcake look you can put gloves on this year that's nice that's actually a nice sanitary thing so you're gonna pick either biscuit or cake which we always pick what do we pick chris cake cake all the way cake all day because cake is more scrumptious i've actually never had a biscuit still i know did we i know we talked about having it one year but i don't know if we actually have had it yet and it wasn't bad it was pretty good okay but anyway the best part is right over here once crystal gets her cake she's gonna be able to put as much as she wants of these strawberries and the whipped topping which is so good get your cake crystal get your cake crystal has her cake finally it took a little while to get the cake scoop let me get this out of your hand i don't want that going in there that'd be kind of nasty oh yes just keep in mind if you put more strawberries in there you get less whipped topping okay oh that looks good that was good now you got to load that thing up oh yeah look at this [Music] is that enough yeah you need a little more you definitely need more oh there you go oh and then you gotta get the strawberry on top oh that's a big strawberry thank you whoa let me see the size of that strawberry this is huge that strawberry on top is just so big i can't believe it oh you're so beautiful chris i don't know that's what's about to say hopefully this is sweet because it has been in past years it has sometimes been a little sour so whenever you're ready to try it usually the sour part is the strawberries the strawberries are the sour part because whenever we make oh gosh that's an evil face is it good because usually when we make it at the house we put a lot of sugar in it because i like a lot of sugar in my strawberry like i always call it puree but whatever you call it when it's sliced yeah i guess you kind of make a syrup out of it right yeah so how was it chris oh my gosh you're gonna tear this up with me you know it's actually been like two years since we've been here so we haven't got to experience the uh using or making our own here yeah i got some of the cake in this spoonful oh chris has a sticker i got one as well it just says uh the strawberry shortcake thing it's their 48th year doing it what in the world that's crazy i thought it was really cool though that they had the gloves there you just stick your hand in and pop it out so you didn't touch anything that was pretty cool i was actually i'm telling crystal do you think they're gonna have gloves there i don't know but they did so that was really cool we actually had to start eating food when we first got here because we are so hungry this is definitely a starter because we still have to get corn dogs we have to get chocolate dipped strawberries and now that i like corn dogs we can get corn dogs together that is true it's a corn dog date next stop corn dog day it's corn dog date time crystal actually went and got some fries while i was waiting in line for the corn dogs it was the longest line ever i've ever seen at the corn dog place and they actually it's in a different spot than when we came two years ago so who knows maybe they moved it last year we don't know but we're looking everywhere for it like where's it at yeah and my angel's in that long line i gave most of the prize by accident yeah accident huh but look we got some corn dogs i don't know if you guys can see them in there but they're in there like a bouquet of corn dogs there it is here you go my love nope that's actually mine two for me one for crystal so you can pick which one do you want i'll let you get first dibs on it i take this one back here okay so they're actually they're pretty hot just be careful that don't do it i told you i told you it's good guys they've been made to order and like the line was so long that like every time someone would get up there they were getting the ones that were really fresh like literally just made they probably couldn't even keep up they couldn't that line was really long and it was like a um a concert about to go on over there so they're like right by the stadium so look we're gonna have a nice little corn dog date right now after this i think we have to get some more dessert we have to get the chocolate dipped strawberries because we always get those at a dollar a piece heck yes this is the cheapest date the best date oh my gosh i love corn dogs i love strawberries the fries are good too i tried one of those fries and it's they're a little well done they are extra well done like there's like no fry left in it or no potato left in it it's just all hard and so you can have the rest of those chris i'm gonna eat these two so i got more and save some space for all the uh strawberries how many are gonna have actually i don't know how many are you gonna have i don't know are we gonna do the dipper thing again i don't know because i've been looking around we've been walking around i've been seeing lots of good stuff okay so maybe you're only gonna have one or two or so uh i'm gonna have at least three all right so we just finished watching a circus show i'm sure i put some of that in if i didn't i'll put it at the end of this clip but we got some chocolate dipped strawberries so they're like what is a dollar piece i wanted to say that because it didn't go up i was thinking it's gonna go up this year but it didn't go up but they have you know we usually get the dipped ones right like with the hot chocolate ready to go well we did get some of those today but they also had a like cooler case glass case where they had some pre-dipped and they had individual ones there as well so i asked i was like hey are these the same price as the dipped ones you're gonna be like of course there are angel why would that why would that not make sense if they weren't different prices but anyway the reason i asked because check out the size of this one that was in the glass case holy moly this right here there's like three strawberries it actually looks like it's about two from the back here but look i think it's only one yeah look how big this is yeah and i thought this one was big right here so this was actually in the glass case i was like are these the same as that right there what crystal has she said yeah i was like okay give me that big one in the front please yeah check out how good there is another huge one right here yes oh my god so this one is hard so it's like cooled it's chilled that's the word and these are like hot like you know the white chocolate kind of hardened on this one yeah but these are just fresh dip like it's a fondue but yeah this year they look like they gave us cupcake holders they didn't used to do that did they a cupcake um what do you call those cupcakes liner that's it cupcake liner oh man we didn't get the depot ones the dipper depot whatever it's called or we usually get it we can dip it multiple times am i i was going to get three of these but i was like okay this one counts like three and this one's like two so it's pretty much like i have five of them right there it's really good is so delicious i bet it is like i can smell it it smells so good the strawberries smell amazing i actually prefer white chocolate yes that's true they actually had a really big chilled chocolate one yeah we might have to go get it because it's so big like if you see a strawberry this big and it costs a dollar and then you see one size of crystal and it costs a dollar which one are you gonna go for chris the big one right it definitely makes sense go for the big one if i haven't put the circus footage up i'll put up at the end of this clip like i said we didn't really watch uh record most of it because there's a lot of loud noises audio and all that stuff so i'll probably overlay some music but it's pretty cool it wasn't anywhere as elaborate as the state fair one but you really can't expect it to be it was much smaller but we did still enjoy it i don't think i don't think we're gonna be able to see any other shows because it's so late now i think that was the last one yeah it actually was the last show for today we came to see the pigs i don't think yeah we missed that i think maybe we can if we can we'll put it in here but if not you're probably gonna see us eating more food and maybe playing some carnival games not sure if we're gonna do that yet but i think crystal does want more food that was delicious but now we have to watch angel eat the big one strawberry just melted away in my mouth yeah i bet oh my gosh put it into your head for size wrapping so you guys can see how huge this strawberry is the strawberries you're trying but you're saying my head is shooting for comparing it to the size of my head hey everything is jumbo yeah because it's juicy it yeah i think it's good it's really good a chilled one i never had it you guys killed one yes i've had children before i've never had joke ones it's like it's breaking everywhere oh yeah that's the problem with the eating the chilled strawberries versus the the fresh ones the the shell starts cracking everywhere and you have to be careful way better you do yeah this one's like it's leaving like the um the chocolate layer yeah roof in your mouth oh hang on i'll help you eat it i think i'll actually give you most of oh that this a big bite see he's gonna take a couple more bites but he's gonna take a couple more did he know i was doing that on purpose there's stairs back there for like short people like kids yeah like like super squatting so your knees were they were trembling my thighs were like burning after a couple seconds look at how long this line is just to get some corn dogs so that's the corn dogs over there the line goes all the way back here oh yeah i don't think it's my recommendation but those corn dogs are really good crystal wants to try chuck's live fish but we're not going for live fish here because they actually have prizes up here we have to get six of these in here to actually get one of those so good luck chris yeah i hope you can get one i don't know if you will but i hope you can get that big one that's a center choice that's what you get i like how you're looking around for help just go ahead and throw them chris so what crystal did like a doofus was she hit it with her hand ashley threw it and she lost about seven of her balls that's hilarious the funniest part was her looking around hoping for some help that was the funniest part oh gosh here's something else chris can i have a ball on my hand please i will promise not to hit the basket i'm gonna underhand it huh that's mine all right that wasn't mine that was his yeah mine went way over there you thought that was mine could you imagine if i got the front one that would be crazy let me try another one all right here we go tossing it oh gosh i'm worse than you oh come on oh i didn't want any more you you can have them oh gosh i'm doing terrible how many do you have left oh you don't have many left it was more than half of it i don't want anymore i don't want anymore because mine just keep going nowhere yeah you're getting a bunch of nothing you have about six more just get the center one and you'll be good oh gosh not that big one chris you gotta get into the smaller ones okay let me actually take one of those because i don't trust you you might knock them all out of your oh all right well you dropped like 10 of them down there but we still we didn't we weren't able to win we had like 30 balls 10 of them fell over no wins with the concert going on right now in the park it's not even a park but the fair is so empty right now like this right here is super empty so the uh it's right over there the stadium or stands that's where lady a is currently we actually i was able to get a little bit of recording from outside yeah i was like i can't see anything well of course i can't see anything because i didn't pay to get in there but right now it is super empty over here we're actually headed to the racing pigs because there's a show going on like right this second so we're trying to hurry up and get over there do you want to see um britney spear ribs i want to see justin bieber's wine something like that so i think we made it just on time they're actually just now picking the pig rooters or whatever for each individual pig it's pretty empty here right now like for real look we have this whole stand to ourselves what is going on get little piggy oh it's about to get serious so it's justin bieber q that was the name of it oh they're off come on i don't know which one's which but come on little black one keep it going oh it's so fast it wasn't oreos number one what was number one's name what was number one's name i don't remember but they're really excited over there because that was the big they were cheering for all right so we want lane number two to win because lane number two is brittany spare ribs i think it starts from that side so that's lane number one and two and three and four oh here they go they're getting ready but which one's number two come on run come on i think it's the red one no that's number three i think which one's britney spear ribs i don't know which one come on spearmint who is it which one we got there sharon the little guy right there which one is it number four i don't know it wasn't spare ribs because sparrows was number two i think that was uh taylor not so swift number four was tailored not so sweet let them go swimming swimming and they're off oh my gosh that is a pot belly right there come on [Music] [Applause] i think the spam move has to be right oh look at that come on keep going run run bamboo i actually don't know which one spam they all look exactly the same come on which one won head to head who was it who's yellow what was yellow's name oh i don't even know we're gonna pretend that it's spam move all i know is if we were to come on any weekend it would not be this empty at 8 30. yeah it's only 8 30 and it's so empty over here this is actually the circus area which i'm pretty sure i put that in the video right hopefully angel was a good angel but i didn't record much of it because i kind of was wanting to watch it myself but i don't know what i put in but i'm going to talk about it a little bit okay so they had a guy doing like balancing acts uh they had this lady doing the i said chimpanzee champion traffic chip chips sounds good and then there was a lady that got on this really tall uh pole thing that like sways i'm sure i put some of that in that's when i had really loud music so i probably didn't put too much of that in but she was like making it sway going and this part where this lady was doing the trapeze she was going like this like this and she didn't have any harness on nope it was crazy like it was pretty scary yes like like okay imagine this is her foot she had it bent right there at the ankle it was holding on with her ankle i didn't record any of that because i was like i was shaking myself my hands were sweating it was scary but it was really cool i enjoyed it i think these circus shows are like i do smell it but i think these circus shows are worth like just coming to the fairs what do you smell it out girl where's that stuff smell it out girl where's it at like right next time follow your nose girl where's that oh my gosh sniff it sniff it girl sniffer girl where's it at oh i think we're about ready to go though because it's getting late and like everything's closing we're not gonna get on any rides those are wee over there are you gonna get on these hey we actually got on this from one of our vlogs these are like trying to sell here but you know to buy these i don't know how much this thing is but i know it's definitely not gonna be cheap so crystal do not break that whatever you do do not break it so crystal convinced me to get on this with her and i gotta say it's very comfortable this thing is awesome it's not even a ride it's like the only ride that crystal can handle here at the fair yeah and it is actually pretty fun it's really smooth like look how smooth this rocking back and forth is i wonder how much this thing is uh oh is it a price tag that's a price tag on the plant on the planet i don't think there's anybody actually here that works here oh actually that guy over there might be let me actually stop talking about that because it's probably really expensive and i don't even want to know how much it is i don't know why crystal wants to know okay i kind of want one we don't have any room for this okay we gotta go so before we actually start heading out i did want to show one of these ffa creations that the kids do and this one is probably one of the nicer ones here i don't know it says tcfa i don't know what school that's supposed to be let's say it over there it just says tcfa alumni anyway but look at this that's like shape of florida with strawberries yeah that's cool but i gotta admit this is probably the smelliest display i think it's the mulch but something just smells really bad over here oh yeah so that's a carnival game there's a fishing for berries it costs one ticket to play that got like a little uh ferris wheel right here any other games in the other games uh there's a strawberry reading a book down there that's kind of strange but yeah i like how they always decorate these really nice that back there that barn looks pretty cool and then that's like a it says let the fun keep going or growing sorry carnival tickets they do yes they look like it kind of looks like a poopy ticket as well but yeah we want to show one of these before we actually do start heading out crystal's back for another one but this time she's going to get a biscuit yeah so now we know for sure that we've had a biscuit after this one all right load this thing up i'm pretty much not gonna eat any of this because i i think i ate too much even though i didn't hardly eat much i ate too much i love how excited crystal gets for these yeah get a lot of that juice i know you love juice yeah i don't know that's a lot of juice yeah just get juice right yeah yeah that's where all the sweet is whipped cream yeah get as much as you want or as little as you want i don't know how much you want i do agree on that there we go okay i was about to say that's a little bit too little bit but you do you oh this strawberry is a little bit smaller than early oh you get two of them yay double strawberries you know i think crystal knew i wasn't gonna eat anything so she's like i'm gonna get another strawberry shortcake do you want any and i said no i don't because i i ended up eating both of my corn dogs and about a quarter or almost a half of crystals oh did you is it nice and soaked up in the juice so you had the other one earlier it was really sweet how was this one compared to that it actually is a salty biscuit i don't think i've ever had a biscuit um well it is not as sweet as well i think it's just for people who don't like as sweet stuff yeah but now you know what that means it means you're an older people now you are the old people this is so delicious oh my gosh you're so old cake either way is super don't try to put your young self in there with the cake you're stuck with the biscuits you got the butterscotch in your pockets what's another what's another thing in reference to that i don't really know any other like old people things that are like really old people things but you are definitely old now for liking the biscuits chris before you know it crystal's gonna be making her own biscuits at the house hey angel would you like some my old-fashioned oh fishy strawberry shorts biscuit but yeah i think we're gonna leave after this there's not much more we're gonna do we are gonna buy some kettle corn yeah we saw some kettle corn that's the uh the good kind the mushroom popcorn kettle corn we're gonna buy some of that but besides that i think it's a good place to end the video hope you guys enjoyed the limited shows that we actually showed in the video because there wasn't we got here a little late because we wanted to avoid the sunburns and i would say we did avoid the sunburns but we lost out on all the fun shows although most of the shows here or shows we've seen i'm doing it like this i don't know i kind of liked it i actually liked it coming at this time because i have to worry about the sun because i'm the one that gets sunburned you don't get sunburned i know when i get sunburned and it sucks i'm not gonna lie i'm the old person whenever we come into daytime i'll be the one with the big hats but yeah guys we hope you enjoyed the video we'll see you in the next one thanks for watching everyone bye so say bye
