[Music] what is going on mortals mortal 2 here and today we are back on ark survival evolve because i i'm going to be showing you how you can connect your tree platforms with a bridge but without using any support pillars because most of the time you have to have a massive run of pillars all the way up between the two tree platforms just so you can make a bridge but the way i'm going to show you you don't need any of those pillars at all so it's essentially going to be a floating bridge between uh your tree platforms so if you have already seen my video on how to make a floating platform anyway this method is going to be really easy to you because you already know what you're doing but as you can see i've got two tree platforms right here these are at the lowest snap points on the trees you can put them further up it just means you're going to use a bit more materials but it's very very easy so what we're going to do to connect these first we want to try and roughly line them up roughly where you want the bridges to go and when i mean rough i mean it's kind of rough so we're going to try and set it roughly here with this foundation then we're going to snap two ceilings to it like so then we just want to run pillars uh from the second ceiling all the way down to the ground like so once you have done that then we then want to get the this snap point here not the first one the second one with the pillar we need that one there and then we can just destroy what we have just done there we go up here we're going to destroy this and this you don't really have to leave the um foundation there but it's entirely up to you so what we're going to do now we're just going to build these pillars off until we get to the height that you want your bridge it's usually to match the height of your tree platforms as you see i have gone a bit over but if you want you can actually make this smaller like so and you can do it smaller again because what we're going to do is going to add some height onto this without using a pillar so i'm going to go with this height yes it is a bit smaller but don't worry what we next going to do we're going to get a hatch frame and we're going to place on top of the pillar we're going to get the hatch frame door and snap that in there too then we're going to get a fence foundation normal fence foundation and we want to get it to a snap point that's right there on the like this side of the hatch frame door itself so it snaps right there once you have got that snap point and push put it down we want to snap a wall to that fence foundation so as you can see now it has lifted it up a bit like i said you may not need this foundation you can just get rid of it if you want to maybe if you got a pre-existing building that's already on your platform you can just leave the foundation there anyway but as you can see where that's height now i can start building my bridge so i'm going to do my bridge too wide so as you can see we're just going to try and snap as many ceilings as we can with this you will come to a point where you can no longer snap ceilings like this you run out of foundation support but as you can see this is actually it kind of lines up with this tree platform anyway but a lot of people put foundations on it so it might be a bit higher but do not worry so once you have reached your limit all you want to do i'm going to go back down to the ground and we're generally just going to continue to snap pillars to this like this so it's not the first one it's a second snap point always with these pillars so as you can see we've gone along if you come to a point where it's like a decline or an incline it's very very easy you really need to snap another pillar under the pre-existing one that's already here now a lot of the times the kind of like hovering or really close to the floor as it is what we need to do we need to go under the map and actually snap one to it just to make it easier there are other ways to do it but this is the easiest i've found no problem with using the ghost grind you need access to the console commands but as you can see it's now let me get another snap point like i said there is multiple ways to do this it's very very easy you could place a ceiling over then put the pillars down it's very very easy but once you're doing this you want to make sure that these are actually working you just want to go ahead and make a huge line so as you can see these are all turning green sometimes when when the pillar hasn't actually snapped properly to this first one um the foundation limit will not increase for some strange reason what you need to do is get rid of all your pre-existing pillars apart from this long one and just re-snap re-snap the first one go up and try and place the ceiling if it turns green you're doing it right just like i am doing [Music] so now i know i am doing it right and we can snap we can just continue this massive line of pillars and don't worry these pillars are not going to stay you don't have to worry about them we can get rid of these pillars once we are done so as you can see yet again we're going down an incline and for some reason we can't get this over snap point so there's the first snap point we want the second one now but as you can see it doesn't want to snap to it now we can just go under the map again do that and we had it for a second there it is right there and then we just continue boom boom now you can do this all the way up to the other tree if you want to get again another decline so i'm going to snap another one now you don't have to do it all the way up to the tree you can just do it to the edge of the tree platform if you want to [Music] so we got that one there's that one boom so as you can see we're actually coming right to the edge i'm just gonna place a bunch of them so yeah it's right under the right next to the tree platform so what we're going to do we're just going to back up top now and we can just continue to place these ceilings all the way along until we reach the other side so as you can see if you are doing this on multiple trees you will find out not all not all these redwood trees are on the same level so you will have to use stairs to go up and down but it's very really easy so we can just get like uh rid of a lot of these ceilings and we can start using stairs to go down so i'm going to leave it there we're going to put some stairs right here very very nice to snap very very easy and then you can continue with ceilings because if you didn't know you can actually snap a ceiling or foundation to the underneath of stairs which is very very nice so we've dropped down one level we do need to drop down another level but we're gonna place some there we're gonna use some more stairs and boom we can just continue running these across now all the way to the platform the design is totally up to you you don't have to follow my design whatsoever once you've reached like this stage it's up to you how you finish it you can use stairs just like i have right there uh these aren't quite to the ground so i'm just gonna finish it off but usually you've probably got like a pre-existing uh building on here uh this should line up pretty well and if not you can just kind of budget a bit and it will fit pretty nice so as you can see there that is the essentials of our floating bridge between these two tree platforms now you just want to finish the um bridge off so make it the way you want it to look so i have just i'm just going to do it really quick we're not going to do nothing like really fancy or anything we're just going to go across put some walls all the way across here like so so as you can see we can't snap one there and it's just because uh we haven't got a snap point over here so if we just extend those pillars out of it you come back and boom you can just now snap everything to it like so boom this isn't like the best bridge i'm ever going to build this is just a quick one to show you models what it could possibly look like and i'm not even going to finish it properly a bit of that you can put some rails on like so to make it look really good and as you're using the stairs you can use the slanted rails as well really really nice so so i'm just going to do one side also you probably want to put a a bottom onto this when i mean a bottom you'd want to to get a bomb it's very easy you just place another wall and then you can just place the ceilings across and get rid of that so like so and now you can just fill in like the bottom of this it's very very easy you can do that all the way across so wall sealing get rid of the ceiling and then just continue to place your ceilings until you've like got all this like covered in it's entirely up to you but once you have got the bridge that you want you have to make sure you finish the design of your bridge that you want before we go on to the next step so make sure you finish that once you have finished your bridge build and you're happy with it and you want you need to make sure that you do not want to add anything else to it building structure wise like walls ceilings um railings pillars or anything like that you do not want to add anything more like that we can go on to the next step so once you've finished bridge and you're happy with it we're going to go to the underneath where this long pellet is what we're going to do we're going to snap a ceiling onto the hatch frame right here so as you can see right there then we want to replace the hatch frame with a normal ceiling now this can be done in any material so as you can see that was wood but now it's stone once you have done that we want to get rid of this one first then we want to get rid of the hatch frame ceiling which is now just a normal ceiling so we get rid of it so boom what you're gonna see is this is going to be remaining along with this wall and fence foundation now we can go all the way down to the bottom right here and we're going to delete or destroy this pillar so the whole entire pillar goes but boom your bridge is still here but like i said you need to make sure that your bridge is finished i'm going to show you why once you have got rid of that pillar there is no support foundation whatsoever so you can't add anything onto this look it's all red and you can't add anything onto it you can add like torches and stuff you can place stuff on top of it that isn't technically a building structure um but apart from that you can't add anything to this so yet again you can get now get rid of all these pillars that lined up all down here it's very very easy i'm just gonna go along and try and delete some of them just to show you that you can do it very very easy so as you can see we got rid of the pillars and the bridge is still here somewheres i do hope this helps you out you can now make like tree platform faces very very nice and use these bridges to connect them without having anything run all the way down to the ground and make it look like really horrible in my opinion three platforms are meant to be off the ground you don't want nothing connecting you to the ground so just being able to build a bridge without anything having connected to the ground is very very nice in my opinion people might see it differently but from this you can build it wherever you want you could put another tree platform up here you could put one on that tree or battery and just connect them with these floating bridges to your heart's content i hope this helps you out i hope you enjoy using this method and i'll hopefully see you in the next video [Music] [Music] you
