Fixing The Humming Or Hissing Noise On Your Speakers

all right so I wanted to make a quick video explaining how to fix the humming that you hear in your PA system or any set of speakers that you have uh usually has something to do with like a feedback loop where uh it creates like this humming or hissing noise I'll give you a sample of what it sounds like okay here's my setup and if you listen this is what it will sound like okay so the way you fix that is it has to do with the cable that's going into your speaker and then into your audio interface or your mixer or whatever you're using so what you want to look for is you see the gold tip where there are two black lines that means these are balanced cables balance cables I believe it eliminates the feedback loop and removes the hum so now I'll show you what I was using before that's what I was using before you'll notice it doesn't have the two black lines on the tip uh these are not balanced cables which means it will create the feedback loop which will create the humming sound which drives me mad I hate it when I'm DJing a wedding and you hear this annoying hum and uh you know it's only going to be bothering other people as well so if I start to play a track let me let me pull something up give me a second okay so I'm going to turn up the volume okay here we go [Music] so there you go what I'll do is I'll link in the description uh the cables I use the balance cables to resolve that problem let me know if you have any questions on that because I've been doing this for years and for whatever reason I just never took the time to look it up and understand why it was humming I thought it was just normal for a PA system to hum or my studio monitors that I used to used to have like the krks I didn't realize that it it was an issue with the cables so anyway I'll include the link I think it's only like 10 20 bucks um but yeah hopefully that helps
