FIX SLOW DOWNLOAD SPEEDS FOR MW3, MW2 or WARZONE FAST! | Battle.net/ON PC NO VPN (2024)

what's going on guys golden here welcome to my Channel today I'm going to be showing you how to update your Modern Warfare 2 for Warzone 2. um this morning it just came out so it's experiencing some very slow speeds on Battle.net so I figured I'd make a quick tutorial showing you guys the best way to download it at the fastest pace so firstly I'm just gonna show you that my internet speed is uh relatively fast I will show you here um it should be quite a decent amount of megabits per second so I'm getting at 40 download speed so that's all we really care about there so if we pop on over to Warzone in the bottom left here I can see that it's only doing about 280 uh to 300 kilobytes or kilobits per second is how Battlenet does it so the best way to fix this is going to be going to your options right here you're going to click game settings and you're gonna go up here to downloads next thing you're just going to scroll down and you're going to enable limiting the download bandwidth so click that you're going to click the latest updates box so it's checked go over to here and type in 500 kilobytes per second as the limit once it says change is saved go down to the bottom right and click done pause the download for about five to ten seconds and that should be honestly enough resume the download and let it play out a bit at this limit you can already see it's a little bit higher than what it was at it was about 280 300 kilobits per second so now we're up to almost 500 which is the limit that I just set let this run for about 10 to 15 seconds and once we're done that's that should be fine we're going to go back into the options back into game settings downloads scroll down and we're going to uncheck the limit download bandwidth box so uncheck that once it says change is saved click done pause the download once again and now we're just going to wait about five to ten seconds and it should fix the issue so now we can click resume download and now as you can see I'm already getting about 10 times what I had I should increase a little bit more here so this 3.5 to 4 megabits per second will increase to uh eight times that when it when it's actually downloading so Battle.net just displays it as mb per second um but it's not exactly that so that four megabits per second will be eight times faster than it's showing right there and hopefully this video helped you guys out I know it's not a huge increase but a lot of people have been having this problem including myself so this is the best way to do it thank you very much for watching this video guys if you did enjoy please consider subscribing to my channel I will be posting lots of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 content so if you enjoy that type of thing please stick around and subscribe I'd really appreciate that anyways I have a phenomenal rest of your day thank you so much for watching and I'll see you next time
