[Fix] GTAV Showing "Play On Steam" And It's Not Launching

[Music] hi guys welcome to duty's media today i purchased rockstar version of gta 5 but when i opened the roster games launcher it is asking me to play on steam but i didn't purchase the game from steam so if i click on play on steam it will redirect me to the steam launcher and asking me to buy the game again which is ridiculous i will show you two methods to resolve this issue first one is very hard like you need to uninstall steam from your pc and the issue will be resolved but you will lose all the game all the steam game from your pc so there is a hard method which is not convenient for everyone so there is an easy part like easy workaround i'll show you the easy solution so let's close roster games launcher go to your file manager open c program files x86 then you need to search for the folder steam here it is before we proceeding further we need to make sure rockstar games launcher and steam launcher fully closed you need to close them from the task manager as well you can see steam icon here right click on it press exit now we have to rename the steam folder to any random names like i am going to rename the steam folder to test if you are getting any error messages while renaming the steam folder you need to do a clean boot on your pc please check the description if you are not sure about how to do a clean boot on your pc i will provide you a link okay after you rename the steam folder go back to your desktop open rockstar games launcher now you will see install now instead of play on steam the issue is resolved but after you clicked on the install now option go back to the steam installation folder rename the test folder back to steam otherwise you will face a lot of issues with the steam games so it is better to rename it back to steam that's it guys thank you for watching if the video was helpful for you please consider subscribing my channel so i can make more content for you bye bye
