Fix for GTA V won't load - kept quitting from Rockstar Launcher, PC

hello people we're going to follow that so as you know my channel was almost exclusively gta 5 and something terrible happened this week i couldn't launch the game from the launcher every time i clicked play it just went to quit and then that was it and i spent hours trying to fix this i'm not going to do one of those ridiculous long videos dragging this out i've got six things for you to try including the one that worked for me now run as administrator that's happened couple more times and that has fixed it and that is very very quick to do so give that a try also don't forget to reboot your device it's really obvious but try it it sometimes works for people this is the one that worked for me updating my drivers and it was way more complicated than it should have been so normally you open your device managers on windows pc expand there i've got the nvidia geforce right click to update driver so i tried that really early on and it didn't work but little did i know that that was actually the right fix so i have an nvidia driver so there's the geforce experience which you can download you've probably got in your pc anyway you check for updates and here i had there was an additional update and i tried to download it and it failed normally you just download it run the installer and that will update your drivers here it came up with an error for me so i had to do it manually so you go on to the nvidia website automatic driver updates and here i'd noted down the number for that driver so i could check really carefully that i was gonna download the correct one so here one 3080 not the ti that defaulty there so just be really careful to check that you've got the right one and that geforce experience it came up with the latest driver on there so again checking really carefully it's this one here geforce camera driver it might be different for you like i say check check check i checked that driver number and then downloaded it manually here in my downloads folder i then opened it ran it and it just takes you through the steps so that's nice and simple opens up the graphics driver installer so agree and continue follow the throw the flow through and i cannot tell you how relieved that was that worked okay so other things you can try sometimes again get corrupt gets corrupted you can verify the game integrity so you open up the launcher go into settings click on gta 5 and then the verify integrity there and that also updates your directx which can sometimes be the problem as well so just to show that step again so here we go into settings gta 5 verify game integrity click on that and there's equivalent for that on steam i don't have steam so i can't show you that but that has something else to try of course you can try a long reinstall which i did it took me about three hours on my current connection it was really painful also just check for windows updates because sometimes there's a driver missing in there or might be something else it's just worth doing here i had a few things and equally if you click on advanced options and then you'll see here on the optional updates you sometimes get drivers in there i didn't have anything that helped to fix it but it may work for you now the one drive issues if you look on reddit there's a lot of stuff that this helped people so sometimes enabling disabling one drive is an option but this one seems to work for a lot of people so go into one drive and you'll find the rockstar games folder in there delete it just from one drive and then try again and that's it i really hope that that helps you out if you've got other suggestions put them in the comments and let's try and help each other out on this one thanks guys take care
