so we're going to fix or seal the this crack in my driveway i'd fixed it before and i'll show you what i used before so what will you need this is gloves a cheapy putty knife don't use your good one here tarp or something to sit on or kneel on as you're on the hard concrete ear protection only for the compressor with an air attachment and now now which one do we use do we use this stuff do we use this dap or do we use this quick sealant or do we use these which one do we use experience see this here this is a combination of this here is crap it breaks up it's not flexible i applied this three years ago and i used either this which is crap or this which is crap because it doesn't flex and it's i guess it's like concrete it doesn't flex so what i used now let me show you what i used eight years ago is my garage floor that was a crack about an inch wide this is about eight years ago obviously i've driven on this but this stuff is incredible i do see i need to touch it up a little bit there but this stuff is incredible i drive on it this stuff is incredible what did i use use this i used either color the gray flex sealant either the darker the gray or the light gray this is the best stuff it's about 10 11 a bottle at home depot what you want to look for is the expiration date not sure if you can see it here but this expires 2022 you want to make sure you're using fresh stuff this is the best stuff because it's flexible this other stuff this is crap this is crap i don't know about this but if it's not flexible i i i think it's it's crap so we're going to use this and then we'll use this you want to use a heavy duty caulking gun the others are all crap see where it says heavy duty i think i got this at home depot but you want to use this this is the heavy duty stuff the others the other cheapies you throw them away they're no good because this stuff here is hard to push through plus you want you want heavy duty you don't want the crap so yeah this is a heavy duty and what does that say professional line as you will find in all my videos i always always stress for either professional line commercial industrial or military duty residential is always crap so this is the professional line i always always stress that so this is a heavy duty why you need a goggles on [Music] and then we will redo this and then of course my scraper here to chip away the old but i use a cheapy crappy one you can even use a plastic one that way you can use your leaf blower and what i went ahead and did you put it right up against the nozzle if you don't have an air compressor a leaf blower will work i clean this fairly well to loosen up all the old chunks i forgot to mention you will need some wire cutters to cut off the end and then you need to poke the seal with your end of your caulking gun and then i always take a rag and wipe that end off i just take a paper towel and whip so basically you want to shove it over the plunger and then you just uh click on it make sure that's level and in there and a little bit should come out and then just start cocking it may take a few poles okay here's here's the stuff coming out then i'm going to release off the handle i released off the handle and let that come through and i just take my putty knife and just shove it in just shove it in and then keep going i figured my driveway i need about four bottles of this stuff okay when you're done release pressure from here and then while you're releasing you can pull this out and pull it completely out and then put in the new one going on so far and i just been filling the cracks so the water doesn't get in there and freeze and break up the cement
