FIRST TIME HEARING Disturbed - The Sound of Silence (REACTION)

foreign thank you for joining me for today's music reaction video and this one is going to be a little bit unknown to me I'm going to be checking out Disturbed The Sound of Silence now I know The Sound of Silence the song is a Simon and Garfunkel called classic um I've checked out a version of this song by Pentatonix they did a spine chilling cover of this song um if you didn't get to check that out I'll leave a link at the back end of this video take a look if you get the chance but Disturbed I don't know anything about Disturbed so I don't know what I'm in for here all I know is it's had an incredible amount of views 772 million I'm not sure if that's the highest viewed video that I've ever reacted to and I've also got 3.4 million subscribers so they've got an incredible following this song has been watched an awful lot and it's about to be watched One More Time by me so yeah I'm looking forward to this so there's only one thing left to do let's go [Music] hello darkness my old friends [Music] and the vision that was planted in my brain s still remaining Within Myself and Restless dreams I walked alone no streets would come almost [Music] I turn my color to the cold and down when my eyes [Music] he has got an incredible tone to his voice it's absolutely effortless everything that he's doing so far it almost looks like he's just speaking but music is coming out and this video is just an absolute Feast for the eyes it's it's one of the most artistic videos that I've ever come across everything to the way it just kind of merges into each other it's it's brilliant so far absolutely brilliant it's just a very nice cover of what it's going to be um I have a feeling it's going to kick up a little bit these guys are clearly in a rock band so I'm expecting to put their own twist on this song at some point but that one I'm gonna have to wait and see for so hopefully I'm right because I think it'd be quite interesting to see a bit of a a rock version of this song so let's knock it back a little bit and let's keep going [Music] again people hearing without listening people riding songs and voices [Music] silence like a cancer grows hear my words [Music] designer [Music] and the people [Music] [Music] tournament homes [Music] okay guys there it was Disturbed with the sound of silence and I am absolutely blown away I felt like I was almost knocked off my chair with that one it was absolutely stunning I mean I can remember when we checked out pentatonix's version of this I was a little I can remember being a little bit worried because the sound of silence is an unbelievable classic almost a song that you shouldn't mess with you shouldn't touch you shouldn't try and change and to turn it into a rock song and to make it work as well as they did because it's still held the passion of the song and they just really just ramped it up it was absolutely beautifully done the way it just started off so subtle so calm but then the back end of it it was just pure power and pure immersion I mean I don't know anything about Disturbed I don't know who this guy's name is I don't know any other songs he's done but if they're anything like this absolutely anything like this he can and Disturbed can fully consider me to be a fan because that was incredible I mean I can remember the second I did The Sound of Silence from Pentatonix straight away in the comments it was check out disturb to check out disturb check out this Deb's version of it and now that I have I don't know how I go back from this point because that was incredible absolutely incredible um you guys let me know your thoughts on this one um I don't want to compare the two versions that I've done um because the R2 totally different genres and shouldn't be really kind of put together for a comparison but this was I think definitely my favorite version so far of The Sound of Silence um yeah I will be listening to this many many times that is for sure but yeah guys hit me in the comments with any of the Disturbed songs I need to be checking out um I'd love to check these out as well and yeah any general comments you've got and facts and information about the band Disturbed because I'd look forward to reading those and if you've stumbled across me because you are a disturbed fan and you enjoyed this reaction uh a thumbs up to the video would be great and if you're interested hit that subscribe Button as well why not it's free and yeah so that's it from me guys until next time take care and goodbye for now
