First Look: Inside Tour of a Mega Mansion Where Luxury Meets Legacy!

this home will blow your mind this is the tour you've been waiting for there are so many new ideas and a lot of inspiration you won't want to miss it and let's get [Music] started this home is located on a private piece of property surrounded by beautiful Forest land and Wildlife when you include these incredible covered porch areas and the finished garages this home boasts nearly 14,000 square ft We Begin this tour in the salana an area dedicated to outdoor dining and living the salana overflows into a beautiful area for an outdoor fire pit surrounded by meticulously crafted hardscaping and boulders the hardscaping flows into this salana where we have a seethrough fireplace which overlooks into the great room living area above the fireplace we have an entertainment system and music overflows into this space perfect for hosting as we're hosting whether we're gathering around the fire or overflowing into the dining room table area we will have a great view of this entire property but if you were to ask me my favorite view is when we look up and see all these beautiful mortise and Tenon Timber trusses with golden eagle signature hand tuned [Music] finish complimenting these trusses and Timber work is a corrugated steel ceiling finish all applied in a vertical fashion which draws your eye up to the ridge the homeowners picked out all the colors and finishes for their home at Golden Eagles Design Center showroom all of the Timber finishes on this home have an authentic hand Hune finish applied to them the stain that you see here is provided by sashko this is their transformation log and Timber stain not only do they have many great colors but it also allows an opportunity for the pigment of the stain to get hung up into the hand huning which was a feature that the clients loved while we do have posts that go all the way from header to floor we also have a few columns that are supported with concrete peers which are wrapped in that quy stone and this in particular has a giant stone column behind me the homeowners wanted to make sure that their hot tub was able to capture the morning Sunrise that's when they plan to use this the most now instead of having a cumbersome cover we're able to control this just with a switch and we're able to elevate the cover of the hot tub not only does it make it easy and and convenient but then there is lighting below the cover that is great planning you've probably never seen a fireplace like this before this is an acucraft fireplace which is visible from both sides so not only is it seethrough but we can actually access it from inside the house as well as out here in the salana now if it were me if I had this fireplace even if I was only enjoying it in the winter time I'd still leave all my firewood out here that way I don't need to bring it into the house while we're enjoying our meals out here of course we're going to want to see where it is all prepared let's head into the [Music] kitchen the first impression when you walk into this space is the incredible lighting we've got two large Timber trusses located above each of these islands those lights above us these are hton Forge right here each of these are customade even we've got hton Forge above the dining room table right in this space each piece is individually selected and crafted this here was designed with intentional Dimensions so that fit appropriately into this dining room space I just love the combination of stone Timbers and windows we're bringing in such great natural light and we're able to capture these views from sunrise over here to sunset on the other side of the home and there is plenty of space just imagine everyone gathering around and even when the chairs are pulled out there's plenty of room to move around speaking of sunrises that's why this door has access to the front covered porch this allows the homeowners to sit outside and enjoy their morning coffee as they watch the sunrise come up and there's even an herb garden right around the corner how convenient is that when when you're cooking in this kitchen this kitchen is made for chefs that's why there are two large islands so this is the prep Island and this is the main cooking Island now take a look at this prep Island that is an incredible sink that's a fir clay enamel it looks like your classic porcelain but this is ultra durable and resistant to wear and tear we also get this beautiful finished color this is a large apron front sink a farmhouse style now that faucet how perfect is that for this home these are Hans groy Faucets in that matte black finish and we even have an incinerator on each of these sinks an incinerator is a garbage disposal making it easy to get rid of all those veggies without having to fill up the waist bins this bar prep sink is perfectly located right next to a waist basket pull out there is also a dishwasher just on the other side which we have with this sink as well but it also doesn't take up a lot of countertop space which is something that is important to keep in mind when you're considering the cooktop imagine you're at the prep Island preparing your meal but you have guests over this sink allows great flexibility for guests to come over and utilize this without getting into this traffic workflow now what makes this the cooking island is the 45 in combination of induction and gas cooking so you get the best of both worlds with this and what makes it even greater is we're in open concept living here yet we still have appropriate ventilation I just click that button you can't even hear this downdraft as it comes up and another great feature is that we don't want all the noise that would generally be associated with any sort of ventilation well this ventilation has a booster within the floor system and it's located on the outer edge of the dining room that allows for it to remain whisper quiet and you don't even know that it's operating how great is that as we unveil today's tour you will come to find that the Cabinetry in this home is at the next level this is absolutely incredible these were provided by birch cabinet company and what I love about Birch is that nearly anything is possible these are Custom Cabinets we've got custom stains applied to these cabinets over here this is a birch wood species we kept the knots in the doors so this is a rustic Birch there's also worn edges applied to this and that brown color is a brown glaze there's even birds pecking on all of these cabinets we continue with the same wood species on the island but in a darker stain so the island separates itself we even have a separate quartz countertop whereas the cooking Island as well as the perimeter cabinets all have the same attributes another great thing I love about the birch cabinet company is the different glass styles that we have available to us including these this leaded glass that we see here so Not only was that second SN convenient but now we've got a third perfect for the coffee bar area and I just love this there's an insta hot water heater so if you're making tea or even pour over coffee we can easily press this handle down which is its own self-locking mechanism we can do hot water this way and if we go the opposite direction it's just normal temperature water all of this is filtered now if you're not a tea person think how convenient it is to make pourover coffee you can just simply put it in the sink and fill it up and this is a great way to optimize your morning routine something that we like to do in our kitchen designs is we'll have double drawers like what you see here but then we'll also utilize a hidden drawer within it just allows for a much cleaner aesthetic overall in the kitchen helps reduce the amount of busyness that you see also have you noticed the door hardware on these cabinets the hardware is changing with the scale of the cabinet so this pull is larger than that one up there because it scales appropriately with the door size and we see the same thing being done on the cabinet drawers as well we've got pull out spice racks this kitchen just goes on and on of course waste basket pullouts around the entire kitchen always next to a sink now take a look at this microwave you've probably never seen a microwave quite like this before this wolf base cabinet microwave has a pullout drawer which makes it very easy to load things in and out of the microwave and it looks architecturally pleasing because it also matches the same width as the warming drawer below it which is a wolf warming drawer I just love all the windows in this home now take a look at the kitchen we've got three great large Windows right in front of us here makes it easy to see if anyone's coming down the driveway but we've also reduced the depth of these base cabinets and then I love how the windows are brought down to the countertop height so the reason that the depth of these were reduced uced was so that it was easier to reach over and open up the windows that's pretty convenient speaking of convenient there are six popup outlets in this kitchen there are two on each island as well as two on this back countertop area these pop up and we've got USBC and usba charging as well as a standard outlet on the other side and to top it off these are even wireless charging capable that is great with two chefs in the kitchen of course they wanted the best of the best when it comes to appliances which is why we have this Subzero double refrigerator and freezer unit this is 6 ft wide overall 7 ft tall that height scales appropriately with the size of this home we also have four ovens two conventional ovens one steam oven as well as a speed oven over here this is a forever home which is why it large walkways were important we need to consider if you're using a walker in the future or a wheelchair and even beyond that it's just the simple comfort and convenience of the home now most walk spaces in a kitchen are recommended to be at 42 in wide but this is 52 in from countertop to countertop Edge and that's the narrowest point in this kitchen it's even wider over there how impressive is that this is a very comfortable space even great for when the grandkids come over they can sit at this island top and do their homework at the end of the day but if there is a wheelchair needed sometime in the future you're able to pull these chairs away and slide right in while of course it is common and perfectly fine to use the cabinet materials back here we figured with a home like this using extra quarry stone would be perfect now that quarry stone came from Kafka Granite which is a local Quarry nearby and they provided all the stone that you see throughout the entire home when it comes to Stone there is manufactured Stone which looks very good but nothing can compare to authentic quarry stone this is gunmetal marble this is the most beautiful stone I have ever seen take a look at the Keystone Above This was custom cut as well as the soldier course that we see above the acuc craft fireplace here's a design consideration when design in your next fireplace do you really need a hearth in Li of a hearth we've used a non-combustible flooring material and that allows easy access to load firewood into the fireplace it also is much more convenient for cleaning these doors and it allows for a much more convenient walkway within this space there is plenty of seating in this area all of these are electric chairs so you can custom configure these headrests the way you recline and all that was made possible due to outlets in the floor these were all strategically placed when it comes to electrical and light planning strategy and preparation is a key factor take a look at the lighting in this home these were items that we took into account early on in the design phase because we wanted to make sure that all the Timbers the band board as well as the islands and the Cabinetry were all well lit this home is powered by Lutron which allows so much flexibility when it comes to using predefined scenes so if you're having many guests over or if you're watching a movie Additionally you can turn on or off your lights from anywhere in the world and all of this can be done with the convenience of using your own smartphone soon enough we will be showing you an incredible home theater and I know some of you are thinking right now that TV is too high but we're at 18 ft from the closest seat this is a very large room and the homeowners will have that TV on when they're working in the kitchen we're at 30 ft from the cooking Island as well as 40 ft from the prep Island so that TV height works just perfectly for this size of home a great design tip is to leverage vaated spaces in combination with cathedral ceilings by opening up the Gable area see that allows for us to see the truss as it comes through as well as apply Timbers to these inverted valleys we've got a good example of that in the dining room right there but take a look at this so once again rather than continuing that ceiling finish all the way through we capped the wall at 10 ft and now we can see those magnificent Timber trusses as well as those additional Timbers and the light overflowing it really accentuates the lighting as well as those Timber trusses and it gives you a glimpse of what you're about to see as you approach from the foyer area it's just absolutely beautiful and it's one of those great design ideas that shouldn't be overlooked we can get out to the salana with this door right here and this Big Timber opening it's nearly 5 ft wide 7 ft tall it also allows us an Overlook into the timber stair heading to that finished basement area and we've got two more of these this is absolutely impressive and it allows for such a great flow of space from one area to the next here I am in the foyer we have a nice little seating area here with three transoms above these are Apothecary lights you'll see these throughout the home what I really appreciate about them is the way that they accentuate the hand Hune finish that we see on all the wall finishes now those transoms they go into an absolutely incredible powder room it is the nicest powder room I have ever seen but before we do take a look at the texture on the glass that correlates the same exact glass that we had in the kitchen cabinets we also see beautiful glass on these double barn doors heading into the office this office could be a bedroom and in fact that couch does fold out into a bed we've got some beautiful Windows facing the front entrance and now I unveil The Powder Room this is spaik there's a free standing soaking tub with two tub pillar and they also each have their own hand wand as well as a tray area there is a modern Flames fireplace we can change the color of the Flames as well as output some heat take a look at these niches on each side they even have Specialty Lighting above them speaking of lighting it all comes together with a lighting fixture above the tub and that's the light that we're seeing through the transoms when we're in the foyer area that same lighting carries through to the wall scones that we have here there are even wall scones above the toilet and look at the tile mosaic above the toilet can you imagine crafting each of these pieces around this tile planking this is even a specialty toilet with a Beday seat so that's really neat we're seeing that in a lot more of our homes and this Cabinetry this is absolutely gorgeous there's even accessibility for a wheelchair in the future future all you have to do is remove this panel which was intentionally done like that so you can fully get under there this is a quartz countertop with an under mouth colar sink and a Breo faucet now this is a powder room so all the guests are going to use this room which is why I think having a statement piece like a brezel faucet goes a long way and that's certainly a luxury selection the same selections used in the kitchen were carried through to this bathroom due to its proximity we even see the detail of of the integrated end panels and there was even Lighting in the cabinets above that's great ambient light if you're in here in the evening time now these mirrors were provided by elegant furniture and lighting these are incredible the highest of quality we even have extra features in here to control the light temperature and of course we can turn them on and off with a light switch as well while this powder room was special wait until you see what was done in the master suite let's go check that out next we've made our way down the primary hallway I like that we're set away from the public area that way if you have many guests over you're still in your own private Oasis when you're getting ready in the master suite wasn't that beautiful with that door this is a barn door that leads us into the master bathroom you'll be excited to see that pretty soon before we do take a look at the inlet that we have here more of those Apothecary lights and this is an incredible master bedroom there are windows on three walls we have three Timber trusses as well as an incredible feature wall cased with that Kafka Stone as well as our Timber trim we' continued with many of the same principles that were utilized in the great room area with the Keystone and the soldier course but now we have an impressive mantle this is a two-step mantle with a 3-in offset It Off more Dimension and interest and it continues even as the mantle wraps around this is a 45in Montgomery Hearthstone fireplace here's what I really like about it not only does it have the double French doors but also take a look at the finish it has a cast iron enamel finish and it's more of a matte finish I especially love the wood detailing that we see on the handles here now let's take a look at the overall space all these trusses as well as the band board around the room is accentuated with strip lighting we even have more of these Apothecary lights as well as five Apothecary lights placed above the bed now this bed is perfectly located for that fireplace the homeowners can sit up in bed read their book at night and still be able to take in the beautiful Flames from the [Music] fire a great feature about Pella is we're able to integrate blinds into the windows with a third operable pane so with the click of a button the homeowners can have all the Privacy that they want in the room as well as darken it for the evening time now while these spaces are absolutely gorgeous we always want to keep in mind practicality that's what I love about the layout of the master bathroom there are three access points to that bathroom this being one of them what I love about this door is it gives quick access to the powder room in the middle of the night and then it can easily be separated with this beautiful pocket door now you may have noticed there are so many details so let's get into it first take a look at this shower it is cased out with quartz that is the same material being used on the tops in this space and this glass has an absolute beautiful obscurity to it and even this Hardware matches the hardware that's been used on the cabinets I just love that attention to detail we have a new light fixture introduced with some beautiful rain glass in there now take a look at this shower that is a shower two incredible rain heads beautiful recess lights in here the niche itself is a statement piece with the incredible veining that we see in the cords in this home you'll notice that the trim headers are thicker than the trim sides and we carry that through with the opening to the shower as well as in the niche this shower features breeo faucets each side has their own integrated temperature and volume valve we also have hand ons so if that's your preferred use whether you're using it to clean down the shower or if you don't want to get your hair wet from the rain head above take a look at the different depths of the vanities we're increasing it from 18 in to 21 to 24 in we also have floating vanities which are flanked on each side with cabinets from floor to the band board this is very Grand in the overall volume of the space we're continuing with more of those backlit mirrors from elegant furniture and lighting continuing with a spotlike amenities of this bathroom there is a dedicated warming drawer just for towels there's nothing like having having a cozy towel ready for you when you get out of the shower this ranch style home allows us plenty of opportunities for vaulting the spaces rather than continuing that wall all the way up we left it open so that light overflows into the master closet this is pretty incredible we have the same Cabinetry that was used throughout the bathroom and kitchen area and we've got a beautiful custom built vanity area with a quartz top and as you can see there is an extravagant amount of organiz ation in this space what a great walk-in closet the custom light fixtures in each of these spaces were built by hton Forge we could see the natural light just pouring through this barn door and we' made our way into the first laundry room this is a very convenient location given its proximity to the master bathroom but we also have access to the hallway there are two laundry rooms in this home this is absolutely gorgeous in here we've got three transom window units with that same glass pattern that we've seen throughout the home beautiful pendant lights got a new selection of lighting tile as well as countertop and we've got great natural light flowing in here there's even another sink the butler's pantry is conveniently located between each of the garages we also have nearby access to the dog's room the proximity to the dogs room also makes this Butler's Pantry Ultra convenient because there is a sink refrigerated space as well as plenty of storage whether it's for dog treats or food there are some great benefits to having lks in wall water hydration system this one has a chiller so not only will it have that perfect temperature but it's also filtered water and resaving plastic bottle usage most convenient of all this encourages proper hydration you're going to use it all the time so this is a great feature to have easily accessible for the homeowners as they walk throughout the home many of our clients like the conveniences of a Butler's Pantry because of all these appliances the homeowners in particular like doing this because of the proximity to the dog's room we've got to see that [Music] next there are a lot of great design ideas in this dog room my favorite is the vessel sink with the pop filler this is great because it's convenient to fill up the bowl but also then you can simply drain it by releasing the popup drain it's so convenient to be able to fill this back up again also a few more great design ideas is we have a Dutch door here this Dutch door allows us to keep this door closed and then air can flow through it's also important to have a fan for circulation a window and then there's even access for the dogs to go directly outside and the homeowners can get to this Fen in area very easily keeping this space clean will be easy with the corrugated steel wngs coating the plank tile flooring and even see what we did on the back of this door this hammered steel will help prevent the dogs from scratching the door when they get excited as you come home there's garage access right here with the mudroom and that's why it's so convenient to have a second laundry room on the first floor this is great imagine you've brought in all your luggage you can just leave it here rather than bringing it through the house or if it's the day where you're washing all the bedding in the house you're going to really appreciate having that second laundry room now take a look at this mud room we're carrying through the same cabinet selections that we see in the laundry room as well as the same tile backsplash it really brings it all together and of course it is the attention to lighting just like this that really highlights these accented areas in the home I love this cubby storage it makes it so convenient to access mittens gloves and we also have storage here where it pulls up for your boots and then it slides away how great is that the homeowners wanted to make sure to have that so that the dogs didn't have access to the shoes this home features two incredible garages they're both finished in the same way with the polyurea polyaspartic flooring this is better than an epoxy floor it will last forever and I just love the colors that are done on these chip flakes also it ties into the wall finish colors we have a Wain coating applied with a corrugated steel and then and there is also the diamond coat LP smart sighting on the walls those low maintenance finishes were done because the RV will be able to be washed while in this space we have a heated floor an INF floor drain and there is even water access for the hoses with a hot and cold hose bib these ceiling fans are perfect for when the RV is being washed but also for General air flow they'll remain on all the time which is why the electrician highly recommended using aeratron fans Not only are they ultra quiet but they will last a lifetime while some designers may consider the garage area as being less important for the overall aesthetic of the home we wanted to ensure that all sides of the home looked impressive this garage features covered porches overhang areas plenty of Windows and incredible materials on the exterior to ensure that it cohesively flows with the rest of the home's exterior architectural design this home is futureproof just take a look at this there's a 50 amp plug for the RV that's located around the garage in multiple locations and also the wirings already been run for a future EV charger the reason that the plate isn't on there yet is because those plates may change in the future and the homeowners don't have an EV at this time but we also want to make sure that it was located around the perimeter of the garage in multiple spots because charging locations could change on the vehicles and you don't want to be tripping over cords this is what makes building a brand new home so much fun because you can make sure that you have all the electrical needs that your hobbies your interests and all your toys require when we say that our homes are custom designed we really take it to the next level while we were getting to know the clients and learning what they wanted to store in their garages we came to discover that they had multiple fishing kayaks so we installed seven of these overhead pulley systems in this garage space they are so convenient and easy to use as always do is flip the switch to turn the power on press the button to release it it's amazing how quickly it goes down and very smooth and then take a look above me this was utilized as platform storage which offers the ultimate flexibility when utilizing this overhead storage solution now if you think that is cool wait until you see this stair millions of you watched this in episode 7 where the stair rolls away and you commented that you love this idea wait until you see what we did in this mechanical room we're using the same flooring that was used up in the garage which was installed by anyw Coatings this home has INF floor heat including both of the garages we're utilizing a high efficiency boiler for that this is pretty neat you probably never seen anything like this before for all the outdoor water spets there is the additional option of running hot water to them so right now there's a dedicated cold water line running to the salana now you may be asking why would you want hot water well it cleans easier so it's just great to have this kind of flexibility this home is fully equipped with the latest technology not only does it have security cameras around the perimeter of the home which are discreetly hidden but it also has smart garage door openers on this whole panel here is simply an access panel so it can be serviced by the electrician if needed speaking of panels these electrical panels are located based on proximity so if you need to access something in this basement lower level you can access it right here everything upstairs will be located upstairs we even have access to our sprinklers so we can turn them off control different zones all through our phone and of course we can control the temperature in the home with a smart thermostat even take a look at the dead bolts this is really convenient the homeowners have their own code and they can even set special codes for a service person to come over so it's dedicated to that person with these dedicated codes the homeowners will then receive a notification saying that the electrician has arrived now another great feature is you don't need to be home to use all this stuff you can use it with your phone let's just say you're at your other home or over at work and you know someone's arriving to your home you can then manually open the garage door as well as unlock these doors and you can also ensure that this door remains locked so that they don't have access to the rest of the home just the mechanical room area that is not the stair that the homeowners would typically use they have this beautiful open Timber staircase as well as an elevator just off to the side the timber staircase is finished with our hand H texture the hand rail has an industrial style to it with the black metal piping and we see that there's an intermediate Landing this created a great opportunity for the grand kids to have a dedicated play Space this is a ton of fun we custom built this door right in here continued with more of the wall finish and it is just a wonderful little reading Lounge as well as play space for the kids notice all the lighting that we have within this stair area as it is lit underneath the stringers certainly looks wonderful there is so much to see down here we'll get to the movie theater in a bit but first I want to show you the guest Suite this is Spa likee take a look at these tops these are onyx tops the translucent nature of these tops allows for just the most beautiful NightLight in the evening time and even midday like it is today with all the lighting in this room we can still really appreciate the different colors and the dimension of this top now take a look at this as we follow the waterfall Edge we have a lower top and this is to allow for wheelchair access which makes perfect sense down here being that we do have the elevator there are three back lit mirrors in the space this one sits a top of the makeup desk area so yes it could be used as a makeup desk but also when you have guests over they're not storing everything away in the cabinets they may leave their totes sitting out right here so this is just a wonderful space absolutely beautiful take a look at the lighting above us it certainly reinforces the idea that this is just a Serene comfortable and spy-like atmosphere there are bed seat toilets in every bathroom in this home most people really like the heated seat but of course they have full functionality now take a look at the washing station in here for the dogs there is a scissors lift for grooming as well as for the bathing tub and there's even a bther box what that does is it mixes the different soaps the shampoos and the conditioners for that perfect ratio for when you're grooming the dogs that is just perfect we even have a hand wand and controlled water in here a wonderful ceiling fan above for ventilating this space it's just awesome now we're not done yet you got to see this Walkin shower this is just meticulously done with the tile and the detail work we've got quartz being utilized in the niche and that is certainly an accent piece the large format tile that's being used in this shower is more muted in tone allowing for that Niche to really be a strong feature and take a look at the shower heads above as well as the hand Wands on each wall this is as Deluxe as the master bathroom shower just not quite as big with on Suite access if I were a guest I'd feel pretty special staying in this home we've got 10t ceilings in here here a ton of Timber work with all these beams take a look at those four Windows those match the windows that were above us in the master suite this may be the biggest window well I have ever seen remember we are in a basement with these extra tall ceilings and all these windows we are bringing in a flood of natural light and it's so great that when we look out we can see these tapering Boulders as they scale up up to the Earth grade this is beautiful absolutely impressive and it looks great from outside as well just like the other bedrooms in this home this one features P's blinds between the glass now this space is extra large look at all the room that we have here when you bring your luggage we've got two dedicated dressers there's even a walk-in closet all the closets by the way have incredible Cabinetry like this even cleaning closets are done to that degree pretty impressive this home just keeps getting better there is is one cool room after the next now wait until you see this this is the most incredible home gym I have ever been in there is an impressive Pilates Room now this room we could spend a little bit of time in because I just want to show you the curvature of the Beam work in here it actually fills the space of these Monte Carlo fans and how they curve up it's absolutely beautiful and it's that kind of attention to detail that I love when I tour these homes we've got some of the reclaimed vertical planking that we have on this wall finish and then a hand hun tongue and groove wall finish another benefit of our extra high ceilings is all the Beam work that we can incorporate in here we have a mixture of 8 by 8s and 10x10 we see it overflow from this space into the Gathering area all of these panels between the Beam work they are removable if you watched our build series on how this home was built you'll see how we did that now I am in the family room this is such a great Gathering space just outside of the movie theater this is a modern Flames Redstone 42 electric fireplace just so impressive continue with that Cory stone golden eagles hand Hune Timber mantle of course a wonderful place to have a TV and a gathering space the same high quality furniture that we saw in the main floor living room and now a space that we've all anticipating the home theater this is an exceptional space we have a dedicated stage the homeowners wanted this because the grandkids love to come over play their piano play their guitar put on performances there are rooms off to each side of the stage for costume areas we also have of course this great projector screen the latest and greatest technology with a laser projector take take a look at the tiered seating these are electric so you can get that perfect comfortable ergonomic position we also have lighting around the perimeter of this platform for the tiered seating there are different lighting scenes in this room take a look at this there's even a candy station there's real popcorn in those boxes I love what was done with all of the movie posters in this room they add a lot of color and these were favorites of the grandchildren there's some great accent lighting in this space Have you ever seen a chair rail this massive this is an 8 by8 Timber and then there's pop bark siding below even when you look at the base molding we we actually have this throughout the entire home it scales appropriately we have concrete walls on all four walls of course the floor and then above us as well so this could double as a storm shelter the homeowners have a whole home backup generator and they said hey if there's a storm rolling through we just want to be downstairs watching the movie so that's perfect we've also seen homeowners in the past use this as their dedicated gym area because with concrete on all the walls the floors and ceilings you can really blast the music and you don't disrupt the rest of the house now let's take a look at the other side of the room this is absolutely gorgeous Cabinetry we utilized a custom color match to match the Timbers in this space and in fact this is actually the same color that was used up in the island in the Main Kitchen the appliances were intentionally designed for this space this is a speed oven which is perfect for making pizzas or or derves there is also an awesome refrigerator I just love this so imagine you come into this space you don't need to open up the refrigerator to see all the beverages there's even a freezer down there for ice cream which brings us to this table this is a leathered granite you can see it just over there as well it's 2 and 1/2 inches thick with a chip rock Edge this is where the grandkids eat their ice cream so it stays off the leather it's also a great place to line up the pizzas as well as the cocktails while the movie's getting started that leads us back into the family room the soft clothes on these barn doors is so appreciated especially with the little kids running around I just love the hardware used throughout this home the door hardware in the home is shl's custom series the homeowners have so many different finishes to choose and different handles as well as back plates behind this door is an elevator now here's a fun fact for you as we're working with the team at Wisconsin elevator Sales and Service they had said we want to make sure not to make the elevator too big because then the state will require annual inspections therefore we made this as big as possible and the homeowners can just simply call upon Service as needed although this should last forever now this is wonderful it'll take us to the first floor the grandkids say that this is their favorite feature of the home I'm going to take it for a ride I'll see you up there and we've made our way back to the first floor the foyer area that was wonderful such a nice experience the homeowners say that when they're moving large furniture items it's so nice to be able to load it up in the elevator as we're in this space take a look at the chandeliers above me these were those hton Forge custom chandeliers notice they just look like they're floating in this space as if there are clouds and then even the niches within the wall these are special we see these throughout the home particularly in the hallway areas these photos are some of the homeowner's favorite vacations how great to have those memories there are a lot of breathtaking details on the exterior of this home this 6t wide double door has a rustic Alderwood species just like all the interior doors in the home and it's stay in the same color with the same glass it's just so impressive with the 8T height overall we've got a beautiful chandelier within this Gable area and take a look at what was done or on the Windows whenever there's Stone on the wall instead of using our wood trim we brought Stone all the way to the window and then we use sill Stone below it take a look at how the sstone was used just above the garage doors see this is a very tall wall so we broke up the wall by running the sil Stone all the way across it and then you get some beautiful dramatic light hitting that Sil Stone in the evening time and speaking of dramatic light these two Timber trusses have uplighting above them they just look absolutely incredible whether it's midday like this and you can see the sun pouring through it or in the evening time got another beautiful large chandelier above us too and take a look at the stone columns below each of these Timber trusses these are just massive the hardscaping around this entire home is the next level absolutely incredible craftsmanship and you can see the way it was integrated into the concrete apron as we pull underneath this Portico now the Portico is incredibly special this is the second home that the homeowners built with golden eagle they had a portico on their first home and they absolutely loved it another great advantage of all the cover porches on this home is the homeowners are able to eliminate the snow removal near the house there are so many
