FIRST LOOK AT THE *NEW ARENA MODE!! (Apex Legends Season 9)

a very special thank you goes out to ea respawn and the ea game changes program for allowing me to capture some early footage of apex legends season 9. the package is on the top left pushing up with the bow is probably not the best idea but we're gonna do it anyways oh god i've ever thrown in my life oh that was so sick thank you thank you oh i didn't even get them to say thank you well they said they wanted to go beyond a br and beyond a br they went man welcome everybody to the channel today we are playing some apex legends legacy season nine and today i'm gonna give you the first look at the new arenas permanent game mode that they're adding into the game now to start things off this is gonna be our new menu when you're selecting a game on the left we have vr and on the right we have arenas if you hover over arenas you can see the three available maps that are for arenas that are in rotation right now we have party crasher artillery and phase runner most of you are already familiar with artillery but we have two brand new maps party crasher and phase runner there's a little bit of lore behind each of these maps uh the idea of party crasher is mirage was basically flying his ship the mirage voyage probably drinking probably drinking partying and he crashed it into a shopping district and that's what party crasher is phase runner is basically a test site a prototype of the big rift that we know on olympus you know the portal thing that you can go through this is a test site for a small version of that basically so we're on a cliff and we're surrounded by these portals so a little bit of lore behind the maps which i find really cool but what happens when you get into a game so the first thing you're going to see is this menu it's a buy menu so on the bottom middle of your screen you have a currency you use that currency to buy weapons your abilities you can buy heals you can buy throwables anything that you may want for that round you can also upgrade your weapons too so you can upgrade your weapons you'll get better attachments better sites and you can also choose your optics so if you upgrade from a level one to a level two but you would prefer the level one site you can go back and change that site so uh that's just a good way to appeal to everybody now i don't want to ramble on for too long cause i'm sure most of you guys want me to get into the gameplay already totally understandable but i think we got the basics out of the way and for the rest the gameplay will speak for itself hey if you're new around here be sure to subscribe next one all right so what do we want to run maybe an ar flat line that's 550 though i guess we'll just do a volt the volts probably like a happy medium it's kind of like an ar that's probably the better choice it's not an smg it's not an ar i think the volts probably like a really good go-to at the beginning because it only cost 500. probably the wingman too is probably a really good choice all right let me add them let me add them oh i'm so pumped dude see we can get some extra heals nice extra some extra crafting materials for next round so those materials are going to carry over for the next round they gotta be on our teammates i'm gonna we gotta go we gotta go we're dilly daddling around we're taking our time we gotta get into the fight and we're going in [Applause] oh i can't be missing those what is this what is it this guy just like jujutsu me or something what was that he just oh my god dude he was gonna style on me he went for it all right dude i don't know what we want to do do we 301 is 600 we're get we got to do it we got the bruiser on it we're going to go level two we don't need to go level three because i mean i don't really care about the anvils the bruiser is all that really matters all right here we go round two i am pumped man i can't get over this i can't believe they added emotes added emotes to the game it's so sick all right we go straight for the bin again these batteries off rip are like game changing if you can get these like i'm uncontested completely it's so perfect you can get those it's such a one-up for the next round now for this round i guess the the crafting mats for next round oh they're over there on our teammates again sorry fellas i'm coming i'm dilly daddling around again oh they don't even need me they already knocked one let's go i got you brother yes dude this is so much fun like getting into these fights and not having to worry about being third party like this is this is amazing all right they're definitely not beating me to the left this time oh yeah we are there fast that's what we need i gotta be careful on that guy on the top left but there's two down there oh he's flying on me oh i'm glad i moved those are those are bell crockets i wonder if i can climb this i would chalk it dude that could be such a sick play for a team that's like sitting up here you catch him off guard all right what do we got oh a gold bow santa mar i'm not even looking at the other two i don't even care what's in the others it doesn't even matter we got a gold bow all right fellas i got a bow and i'm ready to fry i love this thing so very much i can't get over how good the bow is bud oh that's scary that's the last thing i want is to get grappled on by a shotgun especially by this crackhead that's all what he did to me in the first round i don't want to repeat of that i'm gonna i'm gonna do my climb thing i'm gonna i'm gonna hit these guys to the climb thing they have no idea they're sitting up there this is perfect they couldn't they just handed it to me on a silver platter all right i got my health back and we climbed oh i gotta go in the storm i think well this worked like a charm oh my god oh this poor guy he just has a bunch of bones shooting at him yes let's go oh that was so awesome round one match point let's go we're winning this game they're gonna have to walk in just the pathfinder where is he i hear him healing oh my god man i arenas dude it's so good oh i love it i love it so very much we emailed on the on the game winning screen too look at that a game-winning emote okay i feel like i'll make these queens this map is really open so i think a wingman is is a pretty good choice uh we'll get an extra stim too the only thing that kind of throws me off about the wingman is the the big bulky skin dude i'm ready i'm ready i'll try oh man all right let's go i don't know how the wingman's going to fare but you know we'll do our best i'm a big fan of the wingman i'm not a big fan of the skin dude this map is absolutely beautiful i love the the snow on the trees it reminds me of world's edge okay so this is like center so the zone okay materials i'm gonna go grab some of these materials too we're gonna be loaded for next round fellas all three are gonna be on our team i'm here fellas i'm here recharging okay okay we're a little bit useful i take it back all right give me a different gun reloading oh zero one we're gonna do zero one nice shot dude oh hey there oh no tvs get them boys oh we hit them let's go fellas nice job oh god they're pushing aboard listen fellas relax relax let me get the feelings off first okay you leave my views out of this man this guy is aggressive what is this dude oh god rub rub rub rub rod that is the same pathfinder from last game no shot i am playing the same pathfinder again bro i mean unless it's unless there's two cracked out pathfinder oh let's go teammate he got one all right well just expect them to do some crazy movement stuff i guess they definitely res that path that's him oh he's got the rope behind him he's gonna do it again he's gonna do it again like a book bro i respect this guy so much oh bro this pathfinder oh man i love seeing people do that type of stuff though because you don't see it very often it's really cool like that movement stuff that you can do it's so sick well i mean the wingman's been working so we might as well keep running with it we got the pad like let's go dude she's gonna go for the rest that's the pathfinder oh i gotta keep my distance from that guy don't let him get too close all right this is the path left this is the pathfinder don't we wait to stick me oh i like that dude so much bro this guy's awesome the maps look so tiny when you're looking at them like this but they're actually hey hey what are you doing emo with me evo with me yes sir team morale is at an all-time high anyways as i was saying the map looks kind of small like when you're looking at it like that but it's actually pretty big it's kind of surprising how big it is um oh they're here oh they're here uh there's really not much cover on the side uh they're not pushing oh you ain't getting away rape oh we're going up there come here lifeline where'd he go it's resin absolutely not and i will be taking the wingman this is great i love that you can pick up the enemies guns too all right so there's the one guy sniping in the back i don't know where the lifeline went there's no way i hit him twice dude oh the lifeline's in the middle there it is let's go man this i think this map has got to be my favorite just from like the design i guess like i like i like the design the colors the like i don't know i just feel good you know it sounds like he's right underneath me do i hear him way over there there's no way right he is that was just a random dude that wasn't the guy that i heard i feel like i feel like the footstep audio is like different all right don't worry team i'm here i'm here i'm here but i'm not doing much all right listen okay i don't want to talk about that round i whipped a lot of shots but you know what we can't hit them all you can't hit them all good thing the teammates they uh they picked up the slack for me you know i am ready to finish this one strong we got the bow i am i'm feeling it i love this thing i i think that the bow is probably gonna be my favorite gun for this season it's just so good all right did we beat them here they're going mid someone else is over there oh that poor guy reloading all right might as well get some extra bats right crazy not too [Applause] hope we didn't like that door too much give it a third [Music] oh my god dude those first two are crazy and that's why we love the bow
