FIRST ever trip to MicroCenter | lil vlog 🖥

we're about 15 minutes away from a Micro Center this is the closest I've ever been to one in my whole life pretty excited to go so let's finish out this drive and let's go check it out I don't know how well this little Vlog is going to look I also just got a new camera today and that's what I'm filming on so let's [Music] go [Music] all right we just made it to Micro Center I've never vlogged before so let's see how this goes look at these little cute things outside this story is huge look all these phones I found my section the PC section let's go check out what they got look at these little laptops I've seen this before but I've never seen it in person man it's like another screen reminds me of like a 3DS or something I'm such a noob this was not where the PC parts are it's over wanted to buy a 4090 but I honestly don't think they have any in store I got some 40 60s another 3060 and these are just a 30 series down here yeah it looks like the highest 40n series that they have is just the 470 TI got some MSI ones a gigabyte one this little Zotac gaming one down there let's go check out the CPUs that's ryzen want team Intel okay so if any of you guys have heard of Micro Center you know that they have really good at insor bundles and that's what I'm here for I want to pick up a I9 14900 K z790 motherboard and hopefully get some Ram as well hey excuse me man do you have any of the 14900 K in stock yeah we have a lot of them actually okay yeah I just didn't see any uh do you mind talk telling me how like the combos work here uh so the bundle BS are going to be uh through a specific SK set you get the option of getting it either I know at the 149 you get the choice of either 32 gigs or 64 a little bit increasing cost yeah I just wanted to get the 14900 K I saw it's a z790 motherboard and then just 32 gigs of RAM okay so this be the guy that you're getting with the actual 14900 k sweet and you can go ahead and you want to you do the 32 gig ex option yeah let go ahead and is there only one kit you get to choose between for the combos for the combos yeah there's specific set Ed for it I mean overall you're getting like better motherboard option out of the out of options for the 14 Series so overall it's the better option you just get to choose between other 32 64 sweet yeah I'll do the 32 go ahead and grab you the the RAM and the uh thank you man we get the combo baby it's crazy that they're still selling B 450s for $94.99 it's honestly kind of insane let's check out their storage Deals they got a 1 tab here $120 actually 2 terab sorry I'm pretty sure this Inland is the actual Micro Center brand and they got crucial oh my goodness 4 TB m.2 for 250 bucks that's honestly not bad look at that little Sim racing setup that is so cool to B I'm not 18 or older but right now I'm walking down all the cases I never knew there was so much computer cases I know they're always releasing some but it's so cool to see them all on display like this the OG nr200 they have it in white as well oh there's one of my old cases then our 200p Max selling it for $469 still it's honestly a pretty expensive case but it comes with a 280 mil rad and I'm pretty sure it's like a 850 W sfx power supply and you got the good old height cases these things they know how to make cases look good this is a bad store to be in I just want to buy everything got the new H6 flow over here in Black je this case is so Sleek I love the kind of unique design they did with the mesh right here direct air flow towards the GPU this case looks really compact especially I mean they kind of fool you cuz it looks Slimmer but it's really not it's just kind of short and stuffy but $109 might have to cop that thing is a monstrous case that thing is huge I think she said what's up one last thing I want to check out is their power supplies I want to check the prices and how they sell them here 1,600 WT 80 plus titanium these Louise dude that thing is $529 it almost cost as much as my 14900 K combo good thing I already have a power supply and I don't need to buy another one so I just asked the worker he brought my combo out but I asked him if he had any 480s and he said they had one on clearance it's a gigabyte model so open box disco over it is it's a big ass box yeah that I mean these guys are beefy uh let's go ahead and head over to the table here jeez that thing has some weight to it you want to do the Intel or the AMD M got my little invoice ticket so we got a 14900 K with 32 GB of RAM and a motherboard and the guy that was helping me out his name is Joseph he's really cool but he's actually getting me a 2 TB 990 Pro he was telling me they're on sale for $120 with an extra $10 off if you buy it in a combo I'm going to try that out with my new editing drive it should be nice and snappy I think this is the 990 that I'm going to get all right we're going up to the front baby time to check out bye Micro Center nice to see you before we leave though you know we got click some keys to my new fortnite mouse let's go you know I kind of totally forgot to check out their keyboards I mean like they got the keyron stuff you can build your own customized keyboard cute little 60% right here no the stand's about to fall down all right now we're making our way to the front of the store got my little checkout ticket everyone comment how much what you think it's going to be down below with tax we should be next I'm honestly debating if not I should get that 4080 that that guy was showing me but I think I'm a pass just cuz it's like $1,100 still how you doing Mom good how are you doing good I just got that little thing to pick up all right let me grab this for you thank you sweet thank you man are you doing like a new build or an upgrade uh an upgrade I I'm ditching my Mac going back to Windows for editing yeah yeah right now I edit on a 14in M1 Pro and first I was editing on a ryzen 9 like a 5900 X and A 380 but I'mma I'm going to try out windows again I also had a Mac for a bit it was it had its problems the M1 when they came out of those and finally ditched Intel man those were those ones were pretty nice I'll be honest wa for the discounts to load in so the B went through for a protection plan I usually recommend on the motherboard can say things that happen if I a break just want to add on to the motherboard no worries all
