[Music] um [Music] good morning youtube good morning i'm with the eddie horvath and uh we received a lot of uh a lot more license plates and we're glad to see license plates so we did the math on this and one license plate uh well it would take 30 license plates to take up the room of one flag so when you do the math the building could hold thousands of license plates and we wouldn't be overcrowded so i do love the flags though oh yeah the flags are very pretty uh we're going to keep them up as long as we can and keep take care of them and we'll see what the weather does to them even though they're under a roof and then also we get the rest of the building up here we'll have more room for the rest of them so we got them stored okay we have a bunch of license plates we got a banner we got a flag that we are not sure and this is from we got a plate from michigan and this is uh mr lee swift and this is off his antique police car no kidding so this is an old michigan plate and he had sent us his flag here and let's hold this up here can anybody tell us anything about this flag we are not sure um we're this is very curious of what this is so if anybody can give us some explanation on this would appreciate that some sort of a crest yeah i don't know what uh don't know if that's a country uh i don't know i'm not sure but it's a nice flag okay and we have roger with a d snore and he's from the lovely state of iowa and this is a state where the pickers mike and frank yes pickers they could come pick us right now we got all kind of eddie got all kind of antiques oh yeah all kinds of stuff laying around yeah this is a nice place yeah this is the veterans we've got the silos which i would have yeah yep that's your that's your farm farmlands all right thank you roger on to the state of west virginia wild and wonderful wild and wonderful when it's not not uh as a crow flies from here we're you could 15 minutes yeah yes we are real close to west virginia kevin treadway thank you so much and we will get the plates hung up here pretty soon i'd like to start putting these up and uh flags will hold off until we get uh more more more buildings this one and somebody look listen show that up close already somebody's a good look at it it's nice richard hatting he sent us a real nice letter he has a cnc machine and he makes license plates so he made us a custom fuss motor license plate and i'll tell you what i think this ought to go inside somewhere if this we put this in this building this would get destroyed this is beautiful i'd like to actually put this in the bar room we have a we have a own personal bar and that would look nice up there on the wall i think that if he does his woodwork as nice as this just if you could fill it just the sanding alone yeah this is there's a lot there's a lot of yeah this is actual cedar here yes and i mean a beautiful finish on and everything else i am definitely going to get in touch with you richard because i want to talk to you about your cnc machine and i'm thinking about putting a cnc machine into the shop yeah and we could do all kinds of projects signs whatever hopefully we wouldn't take no work from i'm not i'm not a computer expert but i know there's a lot of programming all right we'll hold this one yeah this is a good one here this is from mr bugs durina and he had this uh we had a small piece of artwork made up for t-shirts my son michael had made and he blew it up and this is actually what they make billboards out of yeah and it's printed on a canvas so this is going to go on the back wall where you'll see it from the saw cab so you'll see this one hanging up in the video today i have never seen another one like it i uh and there it is the iconic bus motor with the saw blade cut the log uh thanks to mr louie mcnealy for the idea of the bus motor uh that we had to go with it yeah when he referred to that detroit as a bus motor i said that's it that's what it's going to be called so what's on the agenda for today ed we're going to finally finish this order we got a couple more inch and a half by 10 and then we've got a bunch of yeah two by six and we're just trying to get it out we need 20 pieces of those so we got a few more logs up on the deck here we've been running problems with just getting our length here we've cut a lot of the 12 yeah we run out of long long logs here especially anything with enough diameter to get hardwood out of um and we just about empty the sawdust bin today so we'll be making some fresh sawdust here today so harold comes he's got miniature horses and they roll in it yeah he cleans us out just about every week now so that's that's a good thing so well let's get the bus motor fired up here and see if we can't get something done even if it's wrong i want to thank jimmy johnson too for them nice earmuffs he got me a nice bought me a nice barrier good ear muffs and we're going to give him a try thank you yeah he here's his ears protected so all right we'll be with you here in a minute all right let's get this show started i got the blade sharpened got some logs on the deck and we're gonna make up the rest of the rest of this decking order hopefully if we have enough logs but again it's not the nicest logs in the world but it's going to be ducking give you a little bit of video here and isn't that a nice poster huh this log got a big old big old gnarly hanging off this side on the side of it oh pedal i got dog just temporarily pull up a little bit there so i can get a hold of it all right let's see if we can position it's a little bit better that's going to be a problem i should have took it out with the chainsaw but i did so let's blow up a little bit more or get this one way or the other and this thing's gonna have a bunch of loose bark it's gonna be fun yeah what i'm going to go for here let's try to get this big nubby off the back that's caught on the deck and you can see the fun we're gonna have here five minutes of chainsaw work would have saved us a lot of time there it goes all right try to get that knob off the back all right eddie get some more new spark we'll get a flat spot established here and once we get a flat spot we'll turn it a little bit so that stuff's going to get caught all right we have something to work with now and now this log will play nicely all right we've got a good hold on her and we'll go ahead and start riddling this baby down a little bit see the laser real nice today with the sun being hidden so so so all right just take that outer face off of this thing i'm going to bring it back a little bit yeah that'll work all right that's a big old fat slab all right now we're gonna go back to the other face and that's what i'm going to take down to my 10 inch width is this parallel face and we'll get a lot more two bites out of it trying to get a six inch face up but we need a lot of inch and a half by six so i'm gonna try and open it slowly here that'll get us some six inch up all right okay we'll edge that one off and we'll get one more piece to get us down to 10 inch face one more time out and we'll take this down to our final 10 inches all righty let's go ahead and lay it down so so and we're gonna go and take a little cut and get that cleaned up a little bit see the light nice and bright today that ought to get me down to a six inch open face that'll work it's just for no boy jackie so we're not we need 20 pieces inch and a half by six we need seven pieces 10 inches by inch and a half that's a good one eddie and let's see where we're at in the center of that tree no we're not quite there now we're there if i'm gonna throw anything away it'll be that piece right there and we'll shove it tight i got a taper that's hanging up on me a little bit there that'll work i think we have our seven eddie do we have seven pieces one more so i can start getting sixes right now we need 20 of those okay yep that's what we're gonna do we're gonna start taking sixes off we may regret this i don't know but we'll see all right let's see where we're at on the fall so inch and a half the inch and a half eddie as you can see how we communicate i would like to find a set of headphones that we even both have a microphone would be real sweet got his quarter sawn right there people i'm going to try to take this down as close as i can at each and a half and see what happens here so so all right you can see what we're doing here you got to be careful you don't hit your uh log deck with this turner or your uh head box rather let's see let's send this front out a little bit get up the old master dog all right now we're going for six inch all right so oh take a that long don't want to sit right all right that'll be enough base there now we get our six inch piece out of there all right let's roll it up here yeah let's grab it i'll get back to them get back to my loader arm so i can do something with it and so you've got to be my face a little bit more give me my six inch you can see that's all just a little bit too small so we're gonna do we're gonna take care of that problem right now so there you go all right we'll take that little problem off the back in there that's what you call a flare and that can cause you all kinds of grease i'm going to take a little bit more face off and i'm going to try to get a two by six out of that yeah we gotta get that roller table moved one day okay there's a two by six there so let's get rid of last face all right all right get that straightened up then we'll take it down to six inches on the other two faces and we'll get a piece of 2x6 out of there too why not tell you what we are at the point where we can get two two by sixes i'll have to give eddie a hand when we do this but i'm in a little bit over 12 inches i can split down all right let's get back alive that laser trying to get this down to where we're just touching the saw again in fact i'm going to take a shim off of there trim this up really good sometimes that's just a better method take a ship off of it then we'll be dealing with a flat surface again and we're gonna split those if anybody watches mike mccoy's channel him and mother do this method a lot oh fingers eddie yeah i wish everybody could come out here one time and pick one these boards up and you would have a ton of respect for mr or math out there all right let's put this back to the knees let me just see where this is sit and you can see there's a lot of tension in the log when you're installing it it'll literally spring on you so so oh that's some heavy stuff there i'm gonna take this shim off already so okay we're gonna leave it right where it's at 13 or 14 on there and i'm going to go out and get this to worry about the hand here and let me tell you something this is heavy listen that bus motor all righty let's go ahead dogger down only bad thing is this is this drags that deck when i do this but that's the only mistake i made when i uh set this mill okay now we're gonna take it down our six inches and we're gonna go ahead and split these and it's dragging on the deck slightly you'll see how the saw will run and there's where money comes off okay yeah we're going to take a break here and we'll be with you in a little while talk to you then alrighty what do you think ed i think we got about eight extra boards here all right so we did good we actually got an extra log up on the deck yeah that's good cover boards uh i know people don't like the shims but sometimes you have to true them back up but that's just the way it is so we'll start on that stall decking next and are the stall boards whatever you want to call them get them going keep the horses they'll get out don't want the horses to get out alrighty everybody have a great week and we'll talk to you then next saturday yes bye bye you
