Finally - A February Outdoor Yard Sale!🥶🥶

good morning guys it is Kathleen and I am out and about on a Saturday in Alabama looking for things to pick up on the cheap to flip for a profit online um I am hitting up a couple of estate sales it is their last day if I make it there because there are actually a bunch of yard sales now it was 70° 2 days ago in Alabama and now it's hovering in the low 40s so I don't know if that's going to that those yard sales are cancelled but I'm definitely going to sniff them out cuz none of them are terribly far away from me um and at least one of them is an indoor yard sale so good news we have a lot all right guys we're off on the hunt okay guys so there are a lot of really nice sets and they were all in excellent condition a lot of vintage McCoy and other Collectibles but they were just priced way too high for reselling so unfortunately I was not able to pick up any of these beautiful pieces I went back and forth on this but it was only $5 and it was Sherpa lined and so I ended up taking it for $5 okay so this Lucky Brand hoodie um she had marked as $8 but this is very Y2K and vintage and so I thought that it would do okay and I was really happy when I got home and looked at the comps it should sell somewhere in around the $30 mark all right guys I am not going to lie I was really really disappointed when I looked up the car PS for these giraffes I just thought they were probably going to go for right around the $30 to $40 Mark each and as you will see when I do the haul in my trunk in a little while I ended up finding that one of them had been repaired so that one I can't even list so this was a big fat W but they sure are pretty I can um I do 15 for both of them um okay I'll do 15 yeah they're so unique they're so pretty oh gosh it's so they made in Kenya oh they're beautiful of all right guys that one was a little pricey I got this Gap jacket because it's vintage it's an amm men's medium and for $5 I thought it was worth a shot these color block types of things sell fairly well for me then I did pay $7 she gave this to me for $7 and I haven't been picking up Lucky Brand but this is a vintage version and there was something about it that was really pretty now I do know that it has a spot right there but I'm pretty confident I can get that out and then I did did pick up this Chico shirt only because it's a size three and it is 100% linen it's in really good shape and I love the colors but the last thing oops the last things I picked up are my favorite and the they are these can oh crap I didn't know they were busted I hope the other one isn't Dad G it he's been repaired but these are handcarved in k you know it was really dark in the garage but I also didn't take the time to look so closely and should have well this guy's This Guy's in good shape he's cracked a little there Mama all right well I will flash some concept there when I find it and and then we are going to hit another indoor yard [Music] sale oh that's [Music] cute asked weating okay so I really wasn't sure what to think about this um pattern but it was all linnux and it was in such great condition this snaptip bowl I thought was going to do the best out of the bunch and actually it ended up being the piece with the lowest comps but all of these pieces seem to be slightly desirable and should do pretty well I think when it's all said and done I should get on this $10 purchase between 50 and $65 all right guys my GoPro is acting up so to do this on my phone so they're with me so I got four of these matchy matchy pieces of lenux for $10 and I just thought they were neat I don't know I don't know Tina Tina um uh with Gemini thrifts always swears by Lennox and um I really liked that this has that Snap-on lid that goes with it this plate looks a little bit different but it is the same pattern but this the larger plate and the mug are all exactly the same and something about this trinket box which is really neat oh it's not a trinket box oh it's not a trinket box it's a BL candle but I thought it was cute this is from bumbay company which is no longer no longer inexistent no longer in existence and it looks to like the candle's never been lit so where's the stab and then I think this is probably my best pickup for three bucks I got I don't want to totally unwrap it but I got a bird clock and it chirps on to the next one which I think is an estate sale I am very interested in this Coach bag however these prices at this estate sale were so high that I was not interested in it for a flip I was interested in it for me hydraulic [Music] jeans I had never heard of these jeans before hydraulic but she was telling me that her new jeans she was looking for she either said $10 or $15 for her new with tags and for her pre-owned Miss Me jeans so that was a hard pass for me that was just not enough meat on the bone to flip and even with the hydraulic new with tags they weren't really going much higher than $20 so that was definitely a pass for me all right guys those prices were ridiculous which seems to be a common theme and so the only thing I got was this Coach purse for $35 and I would never spend $35 on Coach to resell this is for me it's buttery soft I'm pretty sure I can get that Ink Spot off so happy with that new purse okay it was absolutely freezing at this yard sale but I'm not going to lie having a normal outdoor yard sale really made my heart Happy and made me think that maybe yard ceiling is just around the corner have mercy good how much are your shoes use price T um Dollar in a okay terrific thanks it brings joy to my heart as as it makes someone else oh jeez can I just put them over here thanks this is from LC they are they're beautiful to for do oh fabulous thank you a lot of lot dresses are two for five right okay it's funny just talking about spe taking it for the windows are do okay guys I am back with a more traditional haul from that last yard sale that last yard sale definitely saved the day for me for thrifting today um there were no like slam dunk home runs but it was the last hour of that yard sale it was freezing cold the wind had kicked up and they just wanted to get rid of everything so everything that I show you was for a total of $20 okay so first of all this is for me so that I can have big beautiful curls um these are Antelope I did not see any name name on the interior of the shoe I I know the lighting isn't terribly great in here today because it's so overcast um so the brand had rubbed off but these shoes were only a dollar so for a dollar and look at the wear there's like minimal wear and these are solid as Sears honestly I was really throwing up a prayer hoping they were going to be bed stew but I feel like bed stew would have been marked on the bottom and these weren't but still these are these are analou and they're Suede and so even if I sell them just for 20 bucks they should do fine but I think I think they'll get a little bit higher than even 20 bucks okay this was brand new in the package Oh I thought it was brand new in the package yeah it is still wrapped up in the bubble wrap and all the things um I don't know what to expect from this and to be honest with you something like this I may just keep I'll throw a comp up there now this is sealed so the little doohickeys um the little plastic seals are still in place and so this is just a Tetris game and this was also a doll and so for a dollar I thought it was worth taking a chance I like having new sealed games um they tend to move for me usually around Christmas time but stranger things have happened um I found a sold comp for this for $55 plus shipping ever that is absolutely an outlier probably going to sell right around the $20 Mark and that is fine with me because it was only a dollar I grabbed this because I had just heard people talking about them and I couldn't remember what they had said if they had said pick them up cuz they flip really well they have decent sell through rates um this was only 50s and this is the type of like lunch box that you throw in the freezer all of has got that gel so it keeps everything that you put inside and it's in really good condition I really thought it was new without tags cuz I don't see any dirt or anything on the inside but then when I looked inside there's a couple of crumbs so it's not new with tags it's been used but it may as well be I mean new with out tags it may as well be because it's in really really good shape um I grabbed these Sanic is a brand that sells really well they're like um a yoga brand um and these have a halfway decent sell through rate these were only a dollar and they should go for right around the $15 Mark I have been picking up all of the pottery and sometimes I question why but this is just such a pretty piece she told me it was made in Italy even though it's not signed or stamped Italy however it is signed by Sevilla now when I search on Sevilla a lot of pottery comes up that's like Bobby fet Pottery so I don't know to be honest with you this matches another piece that I have hanging in my kitchen but I am going to try and get a halfway decent comp to see if this is worth reselling um because I can't keep everything you know what I mean all right these are in the box and none of the shoes that are in the Box are new but I like when they have their box with them so these are a size 8 and 1 half and these are like a snakes skin ballet shoe by Kohan you know my love affair with Sam Edelman I just cannot resist so these are in the Box these are a size nine and I have them I've sold these before and um this person really took excellent care of all of her shoes so even if I just get $15 for them for two bucks that's a good deal and then I got this pair of corkies they are just really cute little gold heel there's the corkies on the back um and I picked up another pair of corkies so these corkies are even nicer look at how gorgeous they are this like gray leather um wedge just really really beautiful um and like I said they are new and in the box and these are in a size N I don't know if it says they were purchased at Nordstrom it doesn't have a price on it but you know like I said they move a lot better for me when they are in the box and then the last pair of shoes I got were these Toms I have also sold this um style of TOMS before they sell really really well um particularly because of the wedge and because of the suede can't remember what size these are 8 and 1/2 so these are the desert wedge what it says this says dark gray suede this is a dark gray suede I may not have the right box but hey I've got a box and then the last few oh okay no I also went back and picked this up because she gave this to me for just a dollar again just gorgeous it is made in Japan and stamped as such I have no idea if this is going to resell or not it's by Tokyo design Studios um but it was really pretty I loved the pattern I loved all the things about it it didn't have any chips or anything like that so figured I would give it a shot then I did get I think six items of clothing so they were 50 cents a piece now I won't typically pick up Zara especially pre-owned but the sizing was great this is a size large it's a really nice jacket this was oh my second piece of lucky today which I have not been picking up Lucky this piece I got because of the embellishment look at all of the like glits it's like an AZ techie type pattern which I typically have a lot of luck with and it's kind of embellished this was a great pickup for 50 cents if I can find the tag this is Barefoot dreams how gorgeous is that and at first I thought it was a robe that was missing the tie but it's not it is I think it's almost like a pool cover it's got this cinched waist thing going on that you just throw over a bathing suit and holy Hannah is it soft then I don't really pick up cabbie anymore but again 50 cents size extra large none of these were silk um they're all pretty much polyester but that's okay they will move especially because they're tanks this one is a tabbits tabbits size large in a pretty paisley pattern and then this last thing is also tablets and it's like a tunic size extra large pretty blue and white pattern so anyway like I said it saved the day I have been really low on inventory lately because these sales that I've been going to just really don't have anything great lately um and I look I mean I will pretty much drive anywhere within reason if I think there's going to be some good stuff there I'm hoping things start to come back into bloom right now as we're moving into spring especially since I had my first taste of a spring yard sale today albe it freezing cold felt more like a winter yard sale but it looks like people are starting to get ready to clean out closets and all the things that I love about thrifting and going on a treasure hunt so let me know if in your area of the country you're starting to see yard sales coming back around if things are starting to move a little bit I feel like just the next couple of weeks like maybe three weeks and we will be in real Prime yard
