FF7 REBIRTH Platinum Trophy OBTAINED! | Final Fantasy VII Rebirth 100% Completed

well that's another one ticked off the list welcome back to the Final Fantasy Platinum Series the series where I go back and play every Final Fantasy available on Playstation I play through the game I complete it and then I go all in and get that platinum trophy in a nutshell for those that may be new to the series coming into this one it is essentially a retrospective a current day review you and then like a trophy struggle all combined into one you may all be here for different ones of those reasons but that is what the Platinum Series is and we are carrying on today with Final Fantasy 7 rebirth so with that all being said what is up guys Jen here hope you're all doing well welcome back to the channel as always got you covered with time stamps so if you want to skip to a certain rebirth so if you want to go play the game complete the game enjoy the game first feel free to do that let's get stuck into Final Fantasy 7 rebirth and it's platinum trophy so let's dive into the story of Final Fantasy 7 rebirth what did I think of this story I think this story did the onetoone storytelling of the OG beat really well I am very biased because I like Final Fantasy 7 and everything that has to offer so I probably won't bash it too much for those that want to know my thoughts on the ending I like most people did get a little bit confused and I think that was the point I think we needed to go back and watch it again and once I did that I got it and I do have thoughts and theories and we'll cover that in another video so let's talk about the characters and Side characters Final Fantasy 7 rebirth again much like remake they expanded on it we got to more in depth to these characters with the relationship system that they threw in there as well I think we got the perfect combination of what all these characters stand for looking into those Back stories especially when we're hitting like Cosmo Canyon with red when we go to Carell and Barrett we have obviously YY that has a bit more of a prominent role going from junon through to Costa Del Soul till she joins our party going back to neheim and Tifa with gongaga aith with gongaga and just aith in general and Kate Sith as well I think me as well as a lot of people kind of came to grow to like Kate thth that just a little bit more he was awesome to play around with in combat and you know what no complaints with him as a character here in rebirth Side characters without going into too much detail I think they did a really good job with presenting them as well we are introduced to so many characters familiar characters as well with side quests tied to them and really get to know them and really get to love them as well what a massive world we got to explore in this one starting off at the grasslands and ending all the way up to the Temple of the Ancients sleeping forest and then obviously City of the Ancients wow I did not think that they could do this early on in its developments I had low expectations and I spoke about that I said that we wouldn't be getting Kate Sith playable Sid Vincent we wouldn't go to rocket town I was wrong about a few of those things I was right about a few of those things but man did they blow my mind out of the water with what they could do especially when we got the tiny Bronco even though they did that little storm thing in the middle of the ocean to kind of load the rest of the world as you go from the West over to the east or vice versa this world is massive and I can only imagine what they are going to do for the third game all the locations with new locations as well a real Incredible World some people may find it overwhelming but I talk every moment that I had just embrace it I took my time and that is a kind of thing that I might tout out about quite a bit in this video is taking your time and taking it all in I did that and I love the world Final Fantasy 7 more than I ever have exploration was taken to a whole new level in this one with looking at summons the Proto relics we had the cash locations the way that they presented exploration was done really well we have obviously the LIF Springs that gives us more Intel and learn more about the world and its locations and not only that we had dungeon's mythal mine was kickass doing the mount Coral stuff with yui was really good they really kind of made it different more so to not make it repetitive like the problem they had in remake is oh my God it's the sewer again oh it's the train graveyard it felt very slow paced in remake where as in rebirth they really reinvent the wheel here even the cosmo Canyon Cave of the ghee it felt really nice to just Traverse through obviously the corridors and the tight spaces did continue on here just a little bit but nowhere to the degree that remake had so moving on from exploration let's go straight over to combat one of the meats of Final Fantasy 7 rebirth and after like 100% in this game and getting this platinum trophy I appreciate the combat and everything it offers it really comes into its own when you go through hard mode or do the brutal and the legendary challenges in the VR simulations but let's just tone it down a bit and talk about it at a base level here they improved upon everything from remake here we have aerial combat with Cloud we have the wind gusts that we can Gap close with and go straight into the air with Cloud we can also do it with tether through Synergy abilities I really like playing as each character especially again going through these combat simulations you have to play them individually I really learned how to play these characters in the best way that I can and I had an incredible amount of fun yes it did come with its frustrations but it was something that I again took my time with I leared and I tried again and I really learned to love this all the abilities the synergy abilities the limit breaks the folios that get involved and getting those weapon abilities the material the accessories the armor all came together so damn well in rebirth and there are things I tackled that you probably tackled real differently and someone else would chime in and say that they tackled it real differently as well we all had our own play Styles go into this yes there are cheese strats and kind of go-to strats for certain fights but you can approach them much different differently and have the same results it might take you a little bit longer it might take you a little bit shorter but nonetheless what an incredible combat system we have here with rebirth I really don't want to see this combat system Fade Into the sunset when the trilogy is over I touched on it ever so slightly just a minute ago folos Reinventing the wheel when it comes to upgrades I really like this system it's nicely paced you can choose what you want to learn do you want to base the statistics around the character or do you want to go and learn some synergies that you can kind of fill in gaps once you've filled those energy bars in battle or do you want to go straight for the third limit break really flexible and the fact that you can reset it at any time it is a real good system and I hope that they adapt on it in the next game material even greater than before more flexibility more material to choose from but I'm going to say right now I'm going to pause it we're all going to say it together we need material loadouts especially in hard mode when I'm switching my Materia every boss battle that I go into I wish I had a load out system I wish that I could do do what I do in the OG where I can bring up that screen of everyone's material and just be like yo you can just give all of this to Tifa you can give all this to yui and you can all this to Cloud I can't do that I have to goooo boop boop and it takes ages and can be very very frustrating and I need loadouts I need this more simplified I do not want to spend half an hour in my menus it can be incredibly frustrating but apart from that I really enjoyed just kind of messing around with the material different setups especially going into the brutal and legendary fights and as well as hard mode there's a lot to play around with here and we're all going to have different results goto strats and everything else in between okay end game and side content let's talk about it because rebirth does it incredibly well we have the mini gamess and I've spoke about it is there too many is there too much could there be more are they frustrating they're probably yes no answers to all of those questions but me personally I enjoyed and embraced everything it had to offer yes I frustrating moments trying to get an A rank playing standing on two feet theme because it changed the metronome it wasn't to the metronome and I was like ah I got really lucky with that one yes it's really frustrating trying to read ifes and shivas and seo's movements in the 3D brawler I did go for the poor Strat yes it can be quite frustrating when you're playing chocoo racing and you come towards the cat to our doors and they close in your face but I just tried again and again and if it got too much for me I just turned the game off and tried it again the next day that is the best advice I can offer but the end game as a whole the combat simulator as boring as the background of the combat simulator got I did really get exhilaration and excitement as I got more and more progress through those learning more about my combat abilities because combat is not my thing I'm not great at combat but I must be all right if I got the platinum trophy right there's so much to do here in his aim game and side content again the side content really Chimes into that relationship system learning more about the characters learning more about the world and its World building is just chef's kiss and I'm really excited to see what they do in the third part I've got to shout out hard mode because the thing I said in my remake Platinum Series videoos hard mode really teaches you how to play the game when it comes to its combat rebirth is exactly the same if not more there is a lot you can do you just need to really assess and when I mean assess I mean assess the situation what you should have done in your first playthrough is assess everything because all of those descriptions in the assess menu really helps you out in hard mode again they did an awesome job here in rebirth before we go over to the trophies let's talk about the music this soundtrack absolutely kicks ass really can't wait for them to release it it's very very soon over 400 tracks and I'm sure that they probably won't release all of those 400s we'll probably get a soundtrack plus but regardless this soundtrack is incredible a few themes I want to shout out the ascent to mount Coral what a Bop Crazy Chocobo returning against the Shinra manager in the chocoo racing and doing his final quest that was a good and unexpected surprise there are so many more Bow Wow Wow you know what I'm talking about I bopped out to that many many times whenever it involved a dog I knew that I was going to get some kickass music to accompany me with this Quest so yes in a nutshell what a soundtrack let's go over to the trophies and the struggle I had with this trophy list to get the Platinum so let's dive straight in now the first couple of trophies never meet your hero swampy situation make mind black the Pres resident accommodation cryptic Cameo Fun in the Sun the price of progress worth the weight crying out Stars fell from my eyes you're not morisaki hearts out Dukes up I'm here for you Confluence of Worlds these are all Story related trophies and if you complete the game you've got these trophies they're going to be pretty easy to get moving on down further I got this win a battle pretty straight forward exploitative practices exploit an enemy weakness again you assess that enemy find out their weakness use it boing you got the trophy unfettered friendship free a bound Ally very simple there are many enemies in rebirth that will bind you you just need to unleash some ATB or some powerful attacks to Unbound them and then boom you got your trophy staggered learning stagger an enemy again should get this pretty naturally as well as break it down using a limit break fledgling Summoner invoke a summon team player use a Synergy skill no I in Synergy use a Synergy ability these are all going to become natural to you as you go through the combat in rebirth entering new markets complete a quest I think if you don't do any side quests you won't get this trophy I don't know if you can miss this purposely if you want to if you're just kind of main gunning the story but completing a quest will'll get you that trophy weapons 101 max out a weapons ability proficiency essentially just learn the ability read the synopsis of what it wants you to do soon as you've maxed that out boom trophy for you Material World leveling up material again a natural progression in the game new blood raise your Queens blood rank again you play some Queens blood you're going to get this trophy you don't you're not going to get this trophy queen Blood could be a video as in itself I had a good time and I really enjoyed playing through it but an easy trophy nonetheless cashing in complete search of a cash location again these are all out in the open world some have two chests some have three chests I think they could get to and then I grab my summons intelligence Aid gather World Intel at five separate locations if you're gunning for 100% it's going to be very easy to get intelligence specialist gather World in 50 separate locations you'll get this pretty naturally if you're go for that 100% And then director of regional intelligence is like the third tier of this trophy gather all pieces of world Intel in a region next we go on to the Proto Relic quest line special shout outs to this quest line I really enjoyed it I love the WR gilges nice to see him finally in the world of Final Fantasy 7 but we have Founders bonus we have Fort Condor Commander caire Crusher honory Turk the Gambit paid off and professional Handler which then leads us to bladesman of Legend now just quickly going over these These are really easy if you're playing in Easy Mode they now added difficulty options for both gears and gambits and Fork Condor so I don't think any of these will be a problem next is Mughal lover max out your Mughal Imperium Merchant rank yes the latter ones are pretty frustrating especially if you're getting hit by tornadoes slipping over bananas and having Balls to the face but just F through it though looking at this I see 18.4% of players earned that should be a bit High guys come on let's let's get to let's get the mles and let's L them Materia completionist develop all possible Materia together with Chadley if you're doing all the combat simulator stuff in all the world Intel you get this pretty naturally as well seventh assemble and stealing the show are to do with the parade in junon the first one being Gathering all the Infantry units and then the second one making sure you have an outstanding performance what I suggest if you want to get this easiest make sure you get all of the Infantry units because it gives you more flexibility on what kind of performance you you to do make sure all three rounds are the one star and you should have a good time nonetheless the card royalty win the Queens blue tournament held on the Shinra 8 if you've been playing queen Blood you shouldn't have a problem there's plenty of guides out there but a quick tip just straight off the bat is if when you're sorting out your card decks press the options button on your PlayStation controller any cards that you've collected would have curated like a set deck there is one that kind of destroys cards and Powers up the midgar armor I use that a lot and that got me a lot of wins so that's just a shout out for that deck if you're having a bit of a trouble critically acclaimed receive a review of s or high and your performance are loveless as long as you're hit in the button proms you're all good with this now we are on to some of the harder ones here we have one star startup three three star hotel five star hotel and sevenstar hotel all to do with the Johnny quest line collecting all of the things for the treasure churro this requires you to do everything in the game including its hard mode counterparts it can be quite frustrating if you are not good at these mini games 3D brawler gears and gambits Fort Condor even though those two have just got a difficulty Nerf you know 3D brawler can be quite difficult I would use the pause option here and know seph is quite hard to decipher when it comes down to it because you don't know his upper and his middle too much but just keep trying learning them pausing and you should get that pretty easily more off the top of my head that you might have trouble with the piano one again I suggest just turning off the music and looking at the lines and playing it that way because sometimes knowing the track gives you too much confidence subconsciously and you will think that you know it and you'll end up missing beats and completely messing up from there on out one of the things is to do all of the combat simulator related activities we'll talk about that a little bit later but I didn't have too much of a problem I think when I just played through naturally I only needed like four or five more collections for the treasure chove ponal prize fighter defeat Sethro in 3D brawler just spoke about that I would highly recommend pausing it between each hit to try and decipher where he is going to hit you piano virtuoso just turn the music off and you should get this pretty easily you might have a bit of trouble with the uh cargo ship theme hard to stand on two feet just because of the tempo is a little bit different on that one it doesn't play to the tempo are you not entertained complete all bounce in the muscle head Coliseum I found this quite easy do it quite naturally especially if you wanted to get those final couple of levels to get to level 70 Hall of Famer win all chocoo Races patience is key here I recommend using Pico and boosting all of his stats up especially speed and acceleration and you shouldn't have too much of a hard time maybe on a few corners but if you know where the corners are you should be all right my job here is done complete all quests not much advice to be given for this one if you just do all the side quests simple as that grind it out attain level 70 with a character if you go in for the completionist ranking here you'll get that pretty easily staggering success deal 300% or more damage to a staggered enemy best way to do this is to go into the combat emulator go on to Dynamic mode if you've left this quite late or even just go in hard mode I tried Dynamic and it worked but go in Titan full might just keep working at him until you stagger him and then just go for the classic tafa technique of uned strength omnist strike unbridled strength omn strike very easy to go to well-rounded master all weapon abilities limit breaks including those found in folios if you're doing a hard mode playthrough if you're just playing through the game you'll get enough manuscripts to do this in the folios quite well mastering abilities talked about this earlier each weapon has an ability tied to it do what it asks you to do and there you have it of Hardy stock complete all chapters on hard difficulty pretty straightforward I think if you've tackled the brutal and legendary fights before this you'll have a breeze of a time doing this the only tough ones I would say is Rufus but Rufus just be very patient build up your ATB Focus thrust after uses like gunsak Kimbo when they brings out Dark Star just try your best to absolutely annihilate him as fast as you can and you shouldn't have too much trouble with that one I also summoned Gilgamesh to the fight as well which really helped me out it got the finishing blow on him and then maybe the kind of last boss Gauntlet you want to make sure all your characters have got some kind of material in you want to save your limit breaks for when they have their particular Parts in the Genova fight when it comes to seph ro reborn yui is pretty Godlike using her ninjitsu when it comes to the wings Zach and Cloud you should be able to have no problem with it Zach on his own no problem it's more or less the kind of Final Phase I found myself doing it with cloud and aith but I made sure that I equipped aith with the material that supports cloud and getting limit brakes really really fast and it worked out quite all right for me and then the last but not least virtually renowned complete all of chadley's combat simulations this is where a lot of people are probably going to give up I had trouble I made a video about just talking about it and my Approach and that is the best advice I have when it comes to approaching this is to just do it a couple of times a day if you have no luck try again the next day don't obsess about it don't try and look up so many different strategies to try and get it done as soon as possible find a strategy and keep to it the one I went with the gotam dong strategy here is where essentially I started off each round this is more particular with the Zach and Sethro fights with a limit break I had the enemy skill material and I used Sonic Boom for The Bravery bonus and went in very slow that fits my play style quite well when it comes to Odin all I can suggest is especially in the Zach and the Sethro fights is to if you're really feeling uncomfortable about it try and last until you can summon Phoenix and R raise on both the you and Zach or sephar Roth but the way I tackled Odin in particular is going into the Punisher St making sure that I deflect and guard against his normal attacks with a retaliation to do the damage to get him to stagger a lot quicker and then when he did his exclamation point attacks I just got the hell out of there when it comes to the outer worlds fight my issue I always had was Gilgamesh because of how random he is and I think as long as you keep switching characters so he keeps focusing on you and then you switch over to the AI it can do such a better job of defending the I can you should be all right you might feel like there's some RNG involved and to a certain degree there probably is but buy your time build up your limit breaks in particularly when it came to the outerworld fights I went with the limit siphon Strat and with the finishing touch all the time that got me the win when I got to Virtual searo as soon as you've done his first phase it should be an absolute Breeze because you would have elemental material on fire and he will heal you for the first bit then he uses blizzard and blizzard is quite easy to avoid Thunder if you get to that part can be a bit tricky you just need to make sure that you dodge it at the last second but just keep at it guys there are many strats out there mine was just patience and Goodwill and it got me there in the end and there we have it what a big video this one was because I really wanted to dive in deep to the trophies but at the same time I wanted to keep my Platinum Series kind of structure intact here because I love this series and we're going to be going back to the mainline series after this one so I'm hoping you can stay tuned for that one
