Fendt 1050 gets a clean up 🙂

good morning guys it's january 29th it's actually only uh minus nine celsius and uh that's because it is morning it actually got up to zero celsius uh yesterday afternoon so pretty warm pretty warm what's this vehicle update is available of course there's a vehicle update available why wouldn't there be um we're going to fire up the 1050 or hopefully it's gonna fire um there's no wabasco on it and it's nowhere near power so if i did want to plug it in i'd have to bring a generator down here but due to it's pretty warm i think it will go why am i going to fire up the 1050 that is a great question great gr great quest oh my word it's still morning don't judge me well it's because um i want to get it cleaned up and uh do a little polishing on it look it over you know just kind of do some shop work do some tinkering that sort of thing so let's see if it'll fire up oh she's uh she's a little frosty all right we're gonna turn our power on here this thing hasn't been running uh well i don't remember last time this thing was running it's been a long time turn our key oh yeah i think this uh axle code was coming up on me when i was pro killing come to think about it notice the gold plugs over here they haven't come on what are we doing we're just keeping the key turned on here just uh if there's anything that needs to kind of get fired up all right let's give her a whirl [Laughter] we're gonna cycle power we're gonna wait in a fire don't you worry hasn't been running in quite a while if i don't think it's going to go it won't be a big problem i'll just go grab a generator and uh we'll plug it in though it's not very cold in our standards this is not cold let's give her another go here it's like the fuel drains back sometimes in this thing it's not uncommon we've been waiting a little while round three i think this one is we're gonna start running out of battery juice pretty soon come on there it is i was just thinking we were going to start running low on juice there we go now we're not even gonna think about moving it we're just gonna let her warm up for a little while might even go for a coffee and then come back but before we do here we're just gonna idle up just a little bit just a little bit there we go okay okay looks awesome all right we'll let that puppy warm up i'm gonna go for a quick coffee and it will come back all right guys we're back oh this thing has been running for uh about an hour talk about a good warm-up we like to really uh warm things up really good around here and cool them off really good thing got an hour warm up just to go up to the shop all right foot pedal mode is on engage right here all right this is a beautiful tractor so what we're gonna do is we're gonna put this thing in the shop we're gonna vacuum out the cab armor all everything get a good elbow grease i like to do that to my equipment i just finished uh doing that with the 720 yesterday and then uh supposed to get up to zero today so we might even give it a wash maybe wash off some of the bird crap remember this thing hasn't actually driven since uh the pro tilling videos last fall so that would have been [Music] oh shoot october beginning of november i'm not sure something like that it's been actually a really warm uh winter for us we have our hockey rink here and it's been so warm of a winter we haven't even been able to flood it because it gets up to zero it's supposed to be plus three here on sunday so uh i don't know if we're gonna get to play hockey in that thing this year which is odd normally uh we're quite cold um so i do actually have this tractor tractor listed um so that's another reason why we want to get it all cleaned up in case somebody actually wants to come and take a peek at it um basically a brand new tractor just wanna wash off the bird poop and armor all the dust well this can be kind of tight in here we got that bird fixed by the way i should have came in the other direction here yeah i guess it won't fit as far as this drill goes we finally just today finished all the last of the bearings on this puppy and now we just got to install and we're done it was our last one i don't think we want to ever see bearings again for a very long time coming in uh he's gonna have to move that garbage can or i will there we go all right good to go see this i got some dirt i don't like that i don't like any dirt on my floor typically i'm a shoes off in the corner kind of person but uh remember that we uh we swapped this thing out in the field last year for that 6 20 and uh we were in such a frantic because we lost two days to swap out and two days a season is a big deal and then uh once you get some dirt like this then it's like well i already got a little bit of dirt you know i want to go pro tilling and then this is what happens unacceptable what do you think lee he's pretty sexy yeah it uh needs a good thought oh i didn't see that and uh it got some bird crap on it it still looks good yeah yeah so i'll check all the air pressures that thing looks good i love it these are the last things are finally coming together around this operation rightly see you could use a wash that's normal to have some oil seepage when you're popping out hoses and putting on hoses and putting in hoses and taking out hoses and putting in hoses and you know you'll get the idea okay i'm gonna get to work no i'm not sure why i didn't uh just brush this snow off when i was outside well i got my back here and uh i look forward to it warming up so i can give it a bit of a wash but uh yeah get a good old vacuum here first all i want to do is get the big stuff out you guys know how it goes and i'll wash the floor yeah well you guys get the idea all right so now once we've got everything vacuumed out we're gonna go find a bucket of water and we're gonna start washing so we're gonna use the trident nuts pail uh don't ask any questions about that first we just gotta we gotta wash this over here just a little bit okay i'm gonna put my phone down freckles this guy here just got back like 10 minutes ago well that was back yesterday oh you were back yesterday i didn't see you though well him frankel's and big frank spent of the last month living in a hotel swift current man because they were getting their uh they were getting their class one and it's a one month course how was that talk to me talk to me it was painful it was painful it was terrible big frank uh he uh he has a few choice words about uh living in a hotel i did too you did do okay well we'll leave it that way we had no we don't no no no we don't want to hear the choice wheels we got to work with the the trident will not fail i got it all nicely cleaned out i'm going to throw some hot water in here i'm gonna throw some pine salt because i don't really know what i'm doing is that enough should i throw some sunlight in there too i don't know should i probably not just run it over here just a little bit there we go that's probably way too much soap oh it's getting hot sprinkles are you a cleaning professional can you uh guide me here a little bit or ow that's actually really hot sorry about that surprised me a little bit there say what well you don't do that i don't do that well look it good enough well yeah you hear you you throw it under there oh okay yeah see i told you it's kind of warm it's kind of hot we're going to take this out to the 1050. oh go around here drippy dripper dipper derp all right i need a rag yeah yeah i'll take this one how's those uh last couple wheel bearings i thought we were we were done them but we're oh you're just assembling the bearings are done those are done just putting the wheels on putting the last couple wheels on are you gonna be are you gonna be happy when we're done this mark i like this job it's fine have we done the 68 foot yet [Laughter] we're not doing that one god oh man okay let's check out mike's uh washing skills i don't wash in 101 should tell me i should start on the far side and work my way back so i'm gonna start that doo doo doo doo i know right we gotta wash this thing buddy we gotta wash this thing i know yeah i guess we should probably mention that uh frankel's and frank they actually did get their class one and uh because i think we forgot to mention that and uh are you excited for ankles or what yeah are you glad to be home man i got a lot of i got a lot of i gotta start i gotta i just gotta buckle down here frankel's just picked up uh a rag and uh is this the most clean that we've done frankel's or oh yeah [Applause] i gotta get that floor that's gonna be the funnest part i think just due to tightness franco's you're kind of small man we could jam you back here oh although i'm not much bigger than you are so you're really doing it i had to step out for a phone call and then you're here and you're just going crazy i was supposed to take today off too oh wow so i got it all cleaned up back there got it all washed and then uh i think the you know i know i'm not i'm not a master jedi or anything in this but i'm pretty sure we'll clean our way out and i'll stick my carpet in i have a carpet yeah yeah i have a carpet i'm pretty excited about it we're done frankel's helped me cleaned up the floor like wrinkles you bet i'm gonna stick my carpet in here now we washed all the floor in the back um now we could that we just used soap and water or pine sole i guess could take some armor all now some leather ones for the seats to give them the shine that way when you sit on them you can't actually stay in them you pretty much have to buckle in grab some window ones for the film on here and on the screen say what uh hold on here i'm trying to i can't see i can't see yeah yeah bring that puppy please oh i'm excited oh yeah we're putting the carpet in it's going to be shoes off in the corner shoes off in the corner so you're seeing i have to buy my own this spring my own car did you buy your own this was spring yeah that is that's awesome right pretty cool was that for what's where oh the case sprayer i don't know if we got carpet in those ones or not i think so did we because the one week jared ran it he went into the build the room and got carpet i'm like so you're saying i spent 10 to lose oh you just bought like a you didn't buy an actual case carpet you bought what's the co-op oh yeah well if the co-op doesn't have it you don't need it holy man okay we got this shoes off that's a good sign that's a good sign holy man um i think that maybe we should your legs are kind of in the way look at this gotta get under the clutch your socks in the way i was gonna you got this frankel's oh the fridge what about it shoot oh yeah that fridge in there the carpet just roll the end up and then stick it right beside the fridge no we gotta we gotta move the fridge do we i'm pretty sure we don't have to move the fridge nope there we go oh okay there we go look at that that looks awesome now we need a little box here so we can put our shoes in it looks snazzy i'm gonna grab a little leather armor off for this i just love it i love it so since we finished this um it's actually afternoon now it's warmed up enough where i think we can uh give this tractor a good wash this is our shoe box put our shoes in here and i'm gonna back this track drill we're going to start washing it fire this puppy up so that is actually um just called the dealer that's a suspension sensor which is probably keeping the tractor from airing up so they're going to send someone down to replace that sensor shoes good to go just backing it up yeah because the nose of this tractor should lift up but it's not and over here you have the buttons for the suspension you can turn it on or you can turn it off and they're not activated just due to that uh sensor all right let's take this thing over to the side of the other side of the shop we'll give it a rinse over so quiet in here right there that's where our washer is we'll shut it off for this okay there we go got you guys hooked up i'm gonna continue watching go for a walk let's do this side here this thing is heated so there is hot water coming out of this puppy i actually got to get my hand around here doesn't that look awesome or what do the tire and the rim no i'm not going to scrub it this weight is still ice cold that's the reason why there's chilled snow on it it's actually ice warm it up here a little bit problem is this weight is so cold it's almost freezing on yeah it is it's freezing on as fast as i can blow it off [Music] tell you what we're going to do we're going to turn this tractor around we're just going to turn around here and get the sun a little bit more in our favor after all we did wash the one side let's wash the other side can't see up the front window yes i know actually may have splattered this camera phone lens just a little bit i have to run over my hose good enough right there there we go let's keep washing it off here there you guys go getting you set up oh just hold your horses takes quite this long when it keeps freezing up oh all right [Music] um you guys ready to go ready or not trying to get all this bird food pop i like to do everything the hard way you're supposed to start at the top like here and then you work your way down everybody has their own technique i like to make sure i splatter a little bit on the stuff i already cleaned that way i can get up there a few times yeah i'm gonna let you go this is actually a lot harder than it looks all right guys we're done actually didn't take that long so if i do end up keeping it because it might you never know um at least it's cleaned up and ready to rock and roll for spring we'll get that sensor changed so that way it will pick up the suspension and it's not due for any services yet though that's all taken care of as well i don't even have to service it i basically just get in and drive it [Applause] got the six remotes uh but the two inside are uh three quarter inch for air drills twin uh hydraulic pumps it's a good looking uh machine got some squat on those tires that's what i like to see okay all right so i'm gonna go and uh park this sucker and uh you guys have yourself a good one thanks for uh hanging out with me for another day while we were detailing the uh 1050. adios amigos yeah you're right we're back it wasn't park it kind of want to go do some power donuts but uh that might be a little too hard on things so i'm gonna park it right beside the old johnny popper the sprayer right there you can see my tracks perfect yeah i know one day one day we'll have something we'll park everything in there we go step off the seat for a second all right guys thank you and um i like having clean stuff especially my tractors my tractors have to be clean adios amigos
