[Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] all right good morning or whatever time it is when you're watching this this is a fender 64 custom hand-wired deluxe reverb they issued this i think around 2017 hand wired with blue cap components that they replicated it's all hand wired it's tube driven just like the old deluxe reverb it's a pine cabinet it has a jensen c12q 35 watt speaker it's the new jensen but i'm really impressed with how it sounds it's channeling a fender guitar through a fender amp in a classic way that i absolutely love they made a couple changes in this amplifier i'm playing through the normal channel one of the things they did is they wired the reverb and the tremolo to both channels now what's normally called the normal channel they've labeled the bright channel this has the traditional brake cap that a lot of people snip out because they wanted reverb and tremolo in that channel but it was too bright so now you have the option and uh it's just absolutely superb i'm playing a fender custom shop 63 telecaster custom double bound with voodoo pickups by peter florence these are te 60 so these are his 60s pickups and this is the reverb on the amp [Music] all right that reverb is on three to four we'll take it up to [Music] five [Music] lots of beautiful built-in reverb i'll take that back down to three check out the vibrato you get the intensity on eight the the speed is on three my experience with old vibratos and the fender deluxe reverbs they were i think optical tremolo this one is actually too biased so it's nice and throbby it'll also go nice and slow and fast so let me show you something slow here's here's speed on two that's speed on two [Music] by the way i'm on the bridge pickup what a sound volume is on three on the normal channel listen to that here's all the way 10. that's 10. [Music] just beautiful all right so i'm going to turn off the vibrato [Music] get the reverb back up to three all right now i'm going to play with a i'll actually turn off the reverb i got a strymon blue sky pedal so this is not a comprehensive demo really of the deluxe i just want to show okay some great sounds i'm getting i was playing i thought man that's a great sound let me record this share it see what you guys think so i'm gonna play the blue sky on the room setting in the modulation mode most of the knobs on the um actually all the knobs on the blue sky are relatively at noon straight up so turn off the reverb here's the dry sound of the the amp no reverb by the way listen to how harmonically rich that is [Applause] ah what a sound all right let's hit the blue sky so [Music] [Music] [Music] all right now i'm going to solo over and i'll hit some drive and listen to what the blue sky sounds like with drive [Music] [Laughter] um [Music] um [Music] [Applause] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] ah [Music] [Music] um oh man so fun the overdrive i'm using is a jetter jet drive and [Music] let me throw on some of the strymon el [Music] capistan [Music] so [Music] so [Music] all right i'll turn off those pedals and come back to the base sound of the amp by itself i went to the middle pickup position just to add a little bit more fullness and spanx [Music] wow what a great sound i am so enjoying this and that's a 3 in the volume knob so it'll get a lot louder i may be overloading the audio on the recorder so it may be introducing a little compression but this is the best recording capabilities i have i hope it sounds good what do you guys think
