well I really wish feminists would stick to lying about the wage gap claiming to be oppressed and filing for divorce instead they seem set on making horrible horrible movies the latest feminists cringe to hit theaters is an attempt at a horror movie called black Christmas it's a remake of the 1970s cult classic only this time the director is calling the movie fiercely feminist so you know it'll be great thanks to Vietnam I was able to watch this movie for free and let's just say it touched me not like an emotional well-written well-executed film might know it touched me like a Catholic priest what's up everybody Hunter Avallone here and welcome back to a brand new video I really hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas I know I did I got to go over to my family's house I got to get some cool gifts I got to give some cool gifts and I got to spend the whole day with my family with my fiance and my wonderful daughter so I had an absolutely wonderful Christmas and I hope you guys did also however not everyone did apparently because the ho ho hos are added again today we will be reviewing a new feminist horror Christmas movie that tries way too hard to educate me now I know I know any movie made by a feminist is technically a horror movie but this was a real attempt at a scary movie now if you haven't seen this movie yet don't worry because today I will be breaking down the entire plot and reviewing the film with you all so without further ado let's review this horrible feminist horror movie Universal released black Christmas to theaters earlier this month directed by Sophie - call she boasts about the film being written and directed by women however after seeing this film I would certainly not brag about it because if anything it only makes people doubt women's abilities to direct films obviously I'm being a bit hyperbolic of course women can direct movies it's feminists who cannot according to the director herself my version of black Christmas is about a group of women who are sorority sisters at a college who start to disappear by one the remaining sisters have to figure out why these women are disappearing and who's responsible for it and eventually once they figure out who the bad guy is they have to fight for survival that's pretty much exactly what happens only with a plot twist so bad you wish the world had ended in 2012 now I absolutely love horror movies but this movie was not a horror movie it followed every single cliche horror movie trope imaginable without bringing anything original to the table the movie kicks off with a sorority girl getting stalked and killed in cliche fashion seriously the sorority girl thinks the bad guys following her turns to confront him and realizes he isn't a bad guy the bad guys actually in front of her then he disappears she trips over something random and the killer reappears and the girl gets stabbed with an icicle look I know there was really nothing scary building up to this moment but I played a scary noise be frightened we then meet the main characters first there's the star of the movie Riley she's a sexual assault survivor who the campus didn't believe this is the only character we actually get any kind of depth with we learned that her attacker is a leader of this creepy frat doing some kind of ritual she's haunted by the memories of this assault and is struggling to regain her strength then there's Chris she's the rough and tough intersectional feminist trying to get one of her professors fired because the curriculum he's teaching doesn't have enough diversity hey points for being realistic then there's Marty she's literally irrelevant to the story and all that matters about her is that she's dating this guy the movie kicks off with a sexist professor talking about sexist things in the coffee shop where Riley works a frat boy stops in to be a jerk and we meet the one nice male character in the entire movie this dude bro one thing that was a little interesting about this movie is how they depicted men literally all the men evil rude and rapey except dude bro he's quirky awkward two-dimensional and only exists to remind us that no matter how good your intentions may be you're always contributing to the patriarchy next the sorority sisters are preparing for a Christmas performance while the girls are getting ready Riley begins looking for one of her sorority sisters who's gone missing while she's searching she stumbles upon a frat doing some kind of ritual where they put this black goop from a statue on their forehead Riley finds her friend getting pushed around by a you guessed it rude rapey frat boy Riley helps her friend out before returning to the house where the girls are finished getting ready they dress up as Santa and begin singing about how frat boys are rapey Riley is then shook to learn her attacker is present at this performance watching her from the audience after this event Riley's friend is killed off by the creepy Christmas stalker in stereotypical fashion she hears a noise doesn't see anything and the bad guys actually behind her literally every single jump scare I called beforehand it was so predictable I could see all of them coming from a mile away pretty quickly after this Riley our main character begins receiving weird creepy text messages and phone calls it's at this point we learn another sorority girl has gone missing as well but it's not the girl we just saw get killed no this is a different girl I know look don't worry I couldn't keep up either okay it was executed so poorly and passively it was hard to follow and even know who was Hugh it's funny because the director claims she had a responsibility not to make a film with disposable female characters but that's exactly what this is no character development ever took place so these are just random forgettable sorority sisters going missing we have no reason to care or empathize with Riley and we certainly don't feel any fear or suspense it just felt like the script said to do this so they did it the delay some sort snow my friend is missing in a panic Riley goes to campus security for help however the campus security man is mean misogynistic and behaves exactly how a feminist thinks men behave he even eats mayonnaise like the disgusting Mayo cracker he is this could have actually been a decent scene depicting how sometimes women are not taken seriously and that's a bad thing but instead it's stuck to every single male stereotype anyway the campus security was no help whatsoever so Riley is looking around some more for her friend when she has a suspicious run-in with the sexist professor he has a paper with women's names on it Riley gets spooked and leaves we are over 40 minutes into the movie at this point and still nothing has really happened the movie felt really short and really long at the same time the pacing was absolutely awful and it made an already bad movie even harder to get through back at the sorority house Riley begins fighting with her sorority sisters and yelling about the creepy text messages she's been receiving we learned that other sorority girls have been getting creepy anonymous text messages as well another sorority girl gets killed off with an extremely quick very pg-13 death scene and we finally meet the killer in a creepy mask literally shooting a bow and arrow yeah I don't know who thought it was a good idea to have these sorority girls chase down and hunted by little sparrow but apparently the director thought hey it's really cliche to use a gun or a knife so let's make this killer straight out of 3000 BC this scene goes on way too long Marty gets killed and no one cares because she didn't have a character she was only there to die the girls run and hide before Marty's bipolar sexist boyfriend returns Riley attempts to explain the severity of the situation that they're being stalked by a crazed killer but the boyfriend doesn't take her seriously he's too busy man splaining Riley continues attempting to explain before he gets killed right as he's literally saying this is a man's job at this point I was just wondering is this fiercely feminist or just fiercely [ __ ] awful anyway Riley kills the stalker before realizing there's not one killer there are several different killers the girls managed to fight and kill off a few others before realizing that these killers aren't bleeding they don't seem to be human Riley also recognizes one of the killers as the frat boy she saw participating in the ritual earlier as Riley and her feminist friend are driving away Riley suddenly figures out that some kind of black magic is taking place giving these killers some kind of non-human abilities she figures that in order to stop this she needs to sneak into the frat and destroy the statue with the black goop coming out of it and this my friends is when the plot twist happened a twist so stupid so feminist so woke you'd think your average bedroom feminists wrote this after drinking too many lattes Riley sneaks in and of course gets tied up and it's revealed to her that these killers are literally an army of super sexist s' I'm not kidding apparently the founder of this frat knew the threat women posed so they used dark magic to make themselves stronger so they can put women in their place the frat boys were participating in this ritual so they too could become super sexist to enforce the patriarchy obviously I'm oversimplifying a bit but this plot twist was so stupid and such obvious forced feminist propaganda I don't know how I can explain it any better finally when all hope seems lost when we think Riley is going to die when we think the movie couldn't possibly get any worse this happens you messed with the wrong sisters then all the girls fight the evil sexist s' they break the statue which breaks the black magic and they set the place on fire and lock the sexist inside the end that that was it guys that was the feminist horror movie it was even worse than I could have possibly imagined this movie failed in nearly every aspect other than the acting being decent the plot was difficult to follow and didn't really make a lot of sense it tried way too hard to push a woke narrative and the film abandoned any attempt at real scares for cheap politics it always felt really really surface-level trying to wrap in some kind of me to feminist women's empowerment thing with a horror movie did not go well at all the movie tried to depict the struggles of a survivor not being believed but by mixing it in with this weird fantasy black magic plot it only made the real-world message even more difficult to take seriously I want to tell you that the movie tried too hard but instead it felt like it didn't try at all it was just a poorly written film thrown together and labeled as a horror movie there were times that I was watching it that I literally wondered did they just take a bunch of random clips and plop them together in a drunken stupor the only thing scary about this movie was how badly it was written the production was cheap and corny and this film tried to be original by peddling Lok 2019 feminist talking points rather than embracing an interesting storyline with good character development and a scary plotline even more so the whole girl power theme didn't really do much for the plot and Reilly's past sexual assault didn't play into the story either it was just there because the film had to be feminist but it didn't try and be good this movie failed so so badly and it's not hard to see why it only received a three on IMDB and was a box-office bomb other than a few critics shilling for this film by boasting about how woke it was audiences hated it and it was a complete disaster if one thing is for certain it's that feminists should just stop making movies especially horror movies because this feminist horror movie has gone terribly wrong [Music]
