Yack Deculture!

Ok, is there any truth in this, or did the creator grab a fan made space region picture. I find it hard to believe HG would let Star Trek use Zentron, and their symbol.

in 2367 a Borg cube destroyed 39 ships the bulk of the Federation Defense Force if not for the quick thinking of the crew of the Federation Starship Enterprise the entirety of earth would have been assimilated they stopped the Borg threat in its tracks however what if the Borg had been able to completely assimilators what would have happened to the Federation and even the Alpha Quadrant well we're gonna take a look today on lore reloaded now for the purposes of this video we are going to assume that the Borg did send a cube to assimilate earth we will not be looking at other conspiracy theories like the Borg sends cubes just to Farm cultures to force them to make better technology we will also only be using the canon found in the shows movies and Star Trek online ebooks will not be included in this scenario the Borg have successfully began assimilation of Earth and our now moving on to the next phase now looking at this logically the Borg cube itself would not be able to instantaneously assimilate the entirety of Earth in only a few seconds the truth is we're not given enough information to really know how long the assimilation of a planet would take especially of an advanced culture like the Federation we can still reasonably assume that earth would still have some defenses including weapons caches and military support craft however the over-reliance a phaser technology would mean that the equipment would become useless quite quickly so it's probably reasonable to assume that the Borg cube would take up to possibly a week to finish the complete assimilation of Earth we do know that the enterprise survived this encounter taking a look at least one episode in which a Will Riker shows the outcome of a Borg infested alpha quadrant you won't go back you don't know what it's like in our universe the Federation's God the Borg is everywhere what are the last ships left please you've got to help us I'm sorry there's no choice if this works everything will return so with the assimilation of Earth already in process this would cause a mass exodus of other Federation planets the Federation fleet crippled the enterprise on the run evacuations would soon begin most Federation planets colonies and ships would probably make a run for their strongest allies the Klingons those too far away would make their way towards the Romulans or whatever empire they thought would protect them at this point we can assume that the Klingon fleet would be mobilized the Romulans warned by the Federation would most likely be close to having their fleet completely mobilized as well it wouldn't take long before all major powers in the Alpha Quadrant would be set on high alert though with stories of the Borg atrocities Federation refugees urging caution it's fairly likely that the major powers would push into Federation territory but hold back on an all-out assault even the Klingons while always ready to be warriors would not uselessly throw their ships or manpower away ironically this threat would most likely unite the Alpha Quadrant in a way that had had never seen before all of the major powers coming together to defend against this galaxy ending threat as we can tell from the episode parallels the Federation would be fractured Federation space would become very dangerous to diverse and ships would be stranded or lost it is likely that some military vessels might have made it out but the Federation would be gone however the one flaw in the Borg is that they work like a computer bringing everything down to numbers one cube was sent because the assimilation of earth and indeed the Federation only needed one cue they would assimilate earth and begin to spread out who required and numerically advantageous positions this would create space similar to what we saw in the Delta Quadrant but not the full takeover of the Alpha Quadrant itself with no current intention of spreading so quickly to other races borders would begin to be created specifically with the hint of holding territory so how does the in-game occur at this point we are so far away from most canon that it would be very difficult to say with 100% accuracy what would happen the ending is really up to your interpretation of the board but allowing me to make an interesting argument to me it seems like there are four real options the first two board completely assimilating the alpha quadrant and Borg being completely destroyed I'm going to reject out of hand and don't worry I'll give the explanation later that leaves the other two options status quo the borders staying relative to what you see right now or the board being so diminished that only vestiges of them exist so let's get to it at the beginning it would be likely that a status quo would be set the Alpha powers having to establish lines of attrition to keep back the mainstay of the Borg onslaught this would probably solidify the Alliance it is likely that this alliance would become some sort of super power within itself sort of like an effective United Nations of the Alpha Forge it would most likely be made up of the three major powers Federation remnants and the lesser powers lesser being relative ironically enough I even found a text-based game that was centered on this idea in that game it was known as the Galactic Alliance for the purposes of this video though it will be called the triumphant signifying the three major powers that first came together back to the problem at hand ultimately the status quo would be unsustainable as the triumvirate would determine that a large board presence could not be allowed to exist within the Alpha Quadrant this created a problem though fighting the board presence with conventional weapons even when having cloaking technology is not a winning strategy this is also probably where the lack of a federation would come to a positive the Romulans and Cardassians both had technology and weapons of mass destruction that could be used to eliminate planets in large swaths of territory without a federation to hold them back it is likely they would employ these different methods even if we assume the Klingons would be resistant to this idea as it being used on former allies we know that the Romulan technology was superior at least during the time of 2367 than Federation technology and given that Federation technology was better than Klingon technology the Klingons could do little to stop them also Klingons would see death a far better choice than to remain drones of the board the weapon of choice Baelor on radiation would do the trick [Music] and I know I know Thaler on radiation wasn't introduced until after 2367 the Romulans had been working on Thaler on radiation at this time though and the threat of an entire galactic assimilation would mean that operations would be given high priority another advantage that the alpha quadrant would have that the board did not was innate adaptability the Borg adapted by assimilating cultures they could only truly change when they added new data or civilizations this meant that the triumvirate would be able to move easier and change more rapidly with cloaking technology the ability to think more quickly on their feet and planet ending weapons it would only be a matter of time before the board would be pushed back and even removed from all planets this wouldn't come without cost though with the heavy amount of casualties and a diminished threat of the Borg once they have been removed from all planets seeking them out hunting them down and destroying them completely might be put on the back burner this meant that remnants of the Borg would still exist and play the Alpha Quadrant small colonies perhaps even new planets being assimilated may crop up however when the Borg got too powerful the triumvirate would again come together to destroy them with the Borg largely gone the triumvirate would begin the reconstruction and terraforming of the former Federation planets the surviving races would be allowed to return in an attempt to rebuild the planets would begin at this point the ufp would be reinstated at least in the core planets most if not all galactic powers would be unwilling to give up the planets that were gained during the war the triumvirate might split at this point but it seems more likely that the humans would use this to solidify it and perhaps create this own galactic alliance that we saw in the game that I had mentioned before a rebirth of the Federation under a different name if so that would certainly make the Dominion war and much more interest as I always say this is just one theory there could be an infinite number of possibilities what do you guys think let me know in the
