cracks in brick cracks in block sticking windows or doors settling or sinking foundation it's a fact foundation problems don't get better with time but they do get better when you call aps it's the weather extreme video this is the morning edition this is for wednesday the 9th of february i'm james spann a nice spring preview coming up for the state for the rest of the week cold front over the weekend we're colder sunday but no sign of any high impact weather event here for the next seven days and probably most places totally dry for the next seven days here we go this is the upper air look across the country today we have broad troughing over the eastern states and a very dry air mass in place here and a cold start we've got 23 for gadsden pelt city at 27. upper 20s for aniston silica alexander city birmingham 32 but a big warm-up today highs in the low 60s this afternoon a remarkably quiet weather day for the united states no winter storms across the country no big impact events and not a single thunderstorm expected today or tonight same thing tomorrow and then day three which is friday there could be a rumble of thunder over the southern tip of texas and that's about it here's the rain for the next seven days rain and precipitation across the country down here in the deep south it's just dry this is suggesting absolutely nothing for all of alabama through wednesday morning of next week there might be a sprinkle or a flurry with that front saturday night but nothing meaningful so model fans let's go here's the gfs this is the o6c run valid today at three again troughing over the east a dry air mass a nice warm up low 60s with a sunny sky low to mid 60s tomorrow lots of sunshine this is friday upper 60s are likely there might be some place touching 70 with a good supply of sunshine saturday as the weekend begins we're expecting mid 60s the sky partially sunny but that cold front will be slipping into the far northern part of the state late in the day and again the gfs suggesting the chance of a few flurries in the colder air behind the front over tennessee and arkansas this is saturday night at midnight and again there could be a flurry somewhere but there's just no moisture to work with this is the european at the same time suggesting a sprinkle we'll leave the forecast dry and then sunday noticeably colder after the high in the low to mid 60s on saturday the high sunday only in the middle 40s with a pretty stiff north breeze it'll be a kind of cold slap in the face the sky becoming sunny by afternoon monday we start the day in the 20s but a big warm up the high monday will be well up in the 50s this is tuesday we'll probably see 60s again so that little cold snap will not last long and this is a week from today wednesday the 16th the big trough in the western states a southwest flow aloft here and we're still dry and mild so this is thursday night of next week evidence of a pretty good batch of rain coming in here maybe some thunder that's not really a severe weather look so rain will likely come back by thursday afternoon and thursday night of next week and this is friday of next week the 19th troughing to the north and that feature is on by and we have a clearing sky rain from birmingham off the european ensemble the mean a little over two inches between now and the 23rd of february and again this is the snow output from the european ensemble now you got 51 members and about 10 of them are showing flurries saturday night with that front but nothing more than that and again there's nothing really meaningful here temperatures for birmingham 60s through saturday then sunday we drop to 47 but then we go right back up in the 60s by the middle of next week and the latest cpc outlook this is for the 16th through the 22nd temperatures around here at or maybe slightly above average that's it for the weather extreme video this morning we'll have notes on the blog the next video here by three o'clock this afternoon if you can catch us this evening on abc 33 40 news at 4 5 6 and 10 o'clock thanks for watching have a great day and god bless sinking driveway call alabama professional services settling patio call aps uneven pool deck call aps collapsing stoop call aps cracking sidewalk that's right call aps it's a fact concrete problems don't get better with time but they do get better when you call aps call alabama professional services today [Music]
