Out of all the things that could happen in this run, I didn't expect it to turn into the Mojave Chainsaw Massacre.
For clarity, Hardcore without drinking etc adds two fun twists to speedrunning.
First, you can't spam stimpacks to get through the final fight. Second, you get weaker as the speedrun continues.
It's a very fun ruleset worth having a try with.
I'm ashamed you didn't take the Goodsprings bypass going through the rocks, and using a stealth boy. You said you didn't have the skill for it, but it's really easy to do after you get the hang of it.. I would've done that then get the combat armor/NCR armor and a service rifle because there is usually always a dead corpse near camp Mcarran.
