FALL WARDROBE ESSENTIALS GUIDE 🍂 FALL CAPSULE WARDROBE 2020 | BEST Sweaters, Shoes, + MORE!

hello everyone and welcome back to my channel today i am so excited to be kicking off a fall series with all of you and today i'm gonna be sharing with you my fall wardrobe staples all the fall clothing shoes and bags that are like my staple pieces that i know i'll get a lot of use out of throughout the fall season so today i'm gonna be walking you guys through my favorite cardigans sweaters jeans dresses and tops and of course i'll have it all linked below for you guys and you guys are gonna have to vote on my next video whether you guys want to see the fall shoe guide or do you want to you guys so let's get right into the video alright so i'm going to kind of mix things up as we go i'm going to mix up accessories and clothing but i'm going to kind of keep it categorized by cardigans and all the kinds of sweaters i recommend as well so that you guys can kind of see everything so the first item i'm going to start off with is a plaid scarf which i feel like is such a fall wardrobe staple like this just screams fall to me and this scarf is such a decent price point it has like the fringe at the bottom as you can see but i feel like it's just a classic scarf to just throw on with any of your outfits whether you're wearing a sweater cardigan jacket i just feel like this is a really nice one and it comes in a couple other colors as well as some solid colors so if plaid isn't your thing though but you like this style scarf i feel like this is such a nice thing to like bundle up and it is really nice feeling fabric it's super soft i love the colors in this particular one it has some mauve some camel some gray so you kind of get that mix of neutrals with that cream background so it's really going to go with a lot in your wardrobe which is why i definitely wanted to share this one with you guys as for a fall jacket there was one in particular i immediately knew i wanted to include in this video this may be familiar to you guys if you saw my nordstrom hauls recently but this moto jacket it's a faux suede but it feels so amazing and soft and it's extremely comfortable and the reason why i recommend having a moto jacket in your wardrobe is because it is so versatile but it really elevates any look whether you're wearing a t-shirt and jeans throw this on for running errands and you just look a little bit more chic and elevated you can even wear this for date night with a little lace trim cami and some really cute like ripped jeans or something like that i think that is a really cute outfit as well or you could throw this on over even a floral dress like i have on here and it totally just like completes the outfit and this is a really nice medium weight jacket to wear in the fall time and i also love the additional details on this like the quilting near the end of the sleeves and it even continues throughout the back i got my regular size extra smallness and i find it runs very true to size and this also comes in four colors total so this is a really nice neutral but i believe it also came in like a burgundy and a few other colors which is really nice to have those options as well i definitely cannot do a fall wardrobe stable video without showing you guys some really cute fall sweaters so i have paired down what i got this year and along with last year i really pared it down all this is available online and easily accessible by the way but believe it or not i pared down all my favorite sweaters to these right here which i feel like each have their own style to them if that makes sense but you'll see me style these as well throughout this video so the first one i think is a quintessential fall sweater it is a cowl neck turtleneck sweater so this one i love in this beautiful camel color i think having a camel colored sweater such as this one is such a nice wardrobe staple because it will go with all the neutrals in your wardrobe and you could even add pops of like blush pink which i know so many of us love to do um but any color really is a nice pop of color with this so this is a really nice fit and i also love that is really well priced the quality of this one is from asos i feel like their quality has always been throughout the year is very good and i've had many asos sweaters and i've never had any issues with them they don't feel really itchy or anything i think the quality is great i get again my regular size in this one i'll have all the sizing details below um but this is great because you could pair not only with your sweater and jean combination that all of us know and love and i know i love doing a sweater and jean combination is just so quick and easy but also think about switching it up once in a while you could do this sweater with a cute like tweed skirt or corduroy skirt i found so many so i'll have them linked below and i also have one to show you guys here on this rack but this is such a good staple wear it with jeans to wear with a skirt i mean there's just so many different ways to style it so i feel like this is such a good staple i have one more turtleneck to share with you guys but this one is totally different and i feel like this one is also a good one to have in your wardrobe especially for work if you're a teacher or you work in an office setting whatever it is that you do and you want to look a little bit more professional i feel like this one is really nice for fall time it is a very like creamy white turtleneck it's ribbed and it feels so plush and soft but it's not like such a heavy weight so if you're indoors though i feel like it's still a nice weight to it so you could either take off like say a blazer if you had it on with it or something like that and this would still be good and it's i love the fit of it i love that it's fitted so you could tuck it into if you have like a paper bag waist pant which i'm going to share with you guys in a little bit or you can even take it from day to night with some jeans as well so i feel like this is again a very versatile sweater and i love the fit of it i love the quality of it and i just feel like this is a really good staple piece that you could just reach for whenever you just want a very chic outfit for fall i definitely want to include this knit top in this category it's not exactly like your everyday sweater but this is a really nice piece that has such feminine and beautiful details on it which is why i love it i actually wore this on my instagram stories the other day which by the way if you're not following me on instagram definitely check it out and i post behind the scenes on my story some daily outfits so i just wanted to share this so i wore this the other day as i said it's kind of like a pearl button detail on this sweater and i feel like it is again such a good basic because you could throw this on with jeans you could tuck it into a skirt there's just so many different ways to wear this you can even wear this for like a casual office day um if you want to wear it with some dress pants as well because it does have that pearl detail on it so it kind of glams it up or on the other hand if you just want to be dressed down but a little like a glam dress down look that whole vibe i just love that this is also a really cute look so i have the extra small in this one if it's true to size it's ribbed again like the other one i just showed you guys and it's like a creamy kind of vanilla color i just really love it so definitely super super pretty now this next sweater is definitely like a very good staple sweater to have because i love the silhouette of it it might even be one of my absolute favorite ones out of all of these i just wore it recently in my fall decorate with me video if you haven't seen that i'll also link that below you can watch that one after this that's probably why i almost love this one the most but the not only does the color look beautiful because by the way it does come in a couple other colors if this isn't your color but i do have to say i think this is a very flattering color if you've not tried it and you want to add this into your wardrobe i love this this is so cute just wear all neutrals with it like jeans cute flats or booties and like you have such a cute fall outfit so this one though i just love the silhouette you're going to see me trying it on i just love that it's longer in the back you could even do your spanx faux leather leggings with this so this is leggings friendly which is really nice but this brand is just so well known for high high quality staple pieces i still have a free people sweater from like three years ago and i absolutely still love it it's in great conditions and while you guys know i love my affordable sweater finds they're still really really great i also like to add in a few that i know i'm just gonna have for years and years and this color is not going out of style anytime soon so you could have this for years and it's just gonna stay in amazing condition and it just looks so classy and like a basic silhouette that like looks good on so many different body types so definitely loving it it's just so effortless and so easy to wear and the last sweater i'm going to show you guys is this open knit sweater i actually found this from old navy so it is of course a really really good price point but i love this brown it is a soft brown and i think it is just absolutely beautiful i could even picture this over top a floral dress to kind of give you the illusion of wearing a sweater and a skirt so you could totally do that i love that whole vibe of an outfit you could even wear a free people bralette underneath which i love to wear so i'll link my favorite bralette below but i just love this sweater i think at the open it's different it looks different compared to all the other ones i love the v-neck i could do my necklace stacks with it you could still see them because sometimes some sweaters of course when you're wearing cowl necks which are still very beautiful to wear i love a cowl neck moment but you can't wear all your jewelry so some days when you just want to do a necklace stack and it's not as chilly then this is a nice option to have because it looks so nice again very very classy but it has a little hint of a puff sleeve to it and it runs true to size all right we're going to get into some bottoms as i said we're mixing it up we're moving down the rack so i wanted to share with you guys a pair of pants that i feel like if you're in the workplace so for me personally i would be looking for the most comfortable yet chic item that's like when it comes to mind if there's nothing like having a plaid pair of pants now hear me out because i know plaid pants they may feel a little overwhelming to try to figure out how to style them but let me tell you i was trying these pants let me just show you them first aren't they so cute so they have like a purpley moth a camel and it looks like black i want to say i style these pants a ton of different ways in my own wardrobe and there's so many ways to style them and you can make them more toned down depending on what color you play off of all the other colors so you'll see all the different ways i'm styling them but these are just so beautiful and they are chic they make a statement they're going to totally elevate your style for work but not only that they're so comfortable they feel like you're in your pajama pants which is the best thing because if you have to be sitting at a desk all day or whatever it is that you do you want to be comfortable because you're working probably eight plus hours a day so i couldn't believe these i was so excited to share with you guys um this work wear option not only for work wear too i mean even if you're going out on the weekend and you just want to look stylish i feel like this with even a sweater would look cute and like pointy toe flats or pumps or something like that it's so cute even sunday best so i really love these and the best part i should have even mentioned this right from the start they have an elastic back so that's why they're so comfortable there's no zipper in them involved anything like that they're just ultimately comfortable they're literally a pull-on pant and they have the elastic in the back the flat panel in the front and they just look absolutely beautiful so chic and stunning so i'm really excited about these they fit true to size by the way okay and now we're gonna get into a fall wardrobe staple again i can't do this video without sharing with you guys some jean favorites so i have three different pairs it was actually very hard for me to pare down my jean collection for this video so um of course i still have other favorites as well but i just wanna i don't want you guys to be like too overwhelmed i have two straight leg options which i think are so flattering i just love a straight leg jean i think they're just ultimately like i said very flattering very comfortable and they are so chic again they look so stylish so um i have the two straight leg and then i have a skinny jean so the first pair i'll show you guys is the good american ones i've talked about these before on my channel but these are really really good quality they have some stretch to them and these are the type of jeans these are one of the few that you could actually like not want to like run and take them off right away when you get home that kind of like feeling you could actually sit down and lounge in them and you don't feel like you're in your everyday jean i don't know you guys just have to like try them to like see for yourself but like they're amazing and they run true to size and i like this pair because it just has like one little slit on it so it's nothing too much like sometimes you can barely even tell there's a slit so i really have to say these are really nice classic silhouette and they're great because they fit so well and i love that they're all inclusive with their sizing they start at size extra small through 4x which is really nice and inclusive for so many sizes so i love these they're really nice like more medium wash and then i also want to include this other pair of straight leg jeans but these have some distressing so it just depends on what vibe you're going for that day but this is a nice option these are from abercrombie and these are high rise ultra high rise and i do size up in their jeans i just find i'm kind of like in between so if you're in between size up otherwise i think they're then pretty true to size um but i think these again this straight leg pair they have some distressing which i love a distress moment especially it's like say i'm gonna wear like bow flats and then i throw on the distressed jeans i like that like combination together of like more edgy and then feminine i just love that combination it's all about like balancing out your outfit so these again so beautiful and then the back they're just of course plain no distressing so very very cute and the price point of these jeans two are also really great now i definitely wanted to include a skinny jean because i love wearing skinny jeans especially with some of my fall shoes like my booties and stuff i feel like they just look the best with it so these are express and they're skinny jean again these have a really nice amount of stretch actually i'm gonna go the other way you could see the stretch in them they're really comfortable again and i just love the silhouette they have like one rip on one side of the leg and that is it if you want to pair this non-ripped i'll also link it below in the same silhouette so these are definitely really gorgeous and will go with so much like i love a skinny jean too i'm wearing something super blousy up top because i don't want to have everything blousy like i wouldn't do as much so that's just something to consider always think about the proportion of the outfit whether you're more fitted up top and then wear like more of a straight leg at the bottom or if you're wearing skinny jeans then wear like a blousey or like an oversized sweater i love those combinations so definitely such a good pair of skinny jeans all right just did a little lipstick touch up i found this new fall lipstick that i just like love so much and it's like super glossy so i'll link it below because it is just like so hydrating but i love the color payoff and it's actually been like holding up pretty well for it being so hydrating so i just added a little bit more but i love this color so much for fall hopefully i don't have a lipstick on my teeth so this next wardrobe staple is very important especially for the times that we're in right now we're spending a lot more time at home and you know we love our comfy sweats but i still like to look you know cute and put together in my like loungewear so i love these right here i just got them in but i am a big fan of the abercrombie sweatpants i have multiple pairs of them and these are great so if you have to be on zoom calls or if you're hanging out for the day at home these are just so comfy to wear and they're a really nice quality i do size up one size in my sweatpants because i just find i like them a little bit looser so if you like a looser fit i would size up one size but these are so beautiful they're the stunning shade of blush pink like the perfect tone of blush and i just love them so much and they're not too tight around my ankle area they're just really soft and cozy so whether you're on a zoom call and you're like business up top and comfy on the bottom that's always a really great thing to do or you could even just wear a cute tee and these even to run errands i think these are a really nice staple for fall time beautiful fall color all right this next piece may just be up there in my top favorites of this entire rack of clothing and it is this suede skirt it is so so beautiful actually this should be tied right here so imagine it tied but this is so soft and comfortable i can't even begin to describe how amazing it feels i could just picture this skirt pair with so many of my staples like that fitted rib top that i showed you guys or i could do a t-shirt or a sweater like kind of like an oversized sweater kind of spilling out of it it would just look so cute with overly boots or short booties i mean there's you as you guys can tell i'm just like rattling off all these outfits because that is how easy it is to style this skirt and it's so comfy to wear sometimes it is nice to swap out for like your everyday jeans throw on a skirt to like totally make it so much more stylish i mean think about a skirt is even comfier to wear than jeans usually so i really love this so much and this does come in other colors i actually love the brown color i'm thinking about getting the brown um because this has been really popular so i definitely would recommend the brown one too if you're kind of like on the fence that is a really nice neutral option all right before we head into one of my favorite categories which is cardigans now whenever i say the word cardigan like the song cardigan from taylor swift comes into my head but anyways with cardigans i always feel like this cami is essential something like this i didn't even realize this until when i got in but this is a reversible cam you guys so it's more matte right now on the way i have it but also you could do more like a satiny one if you just like turn it inside out it's like a satiny look which is really really cool so you get two camis for the price of one so two different looks but i love this neutral option because it'll go with all the colors of cami's that i own because it is just again such a good staple and express makes really good quality camis i have so many of them i just love how they fit and i love the quality as i said they're truly a staple because you just can't go wrong with throwing a candy and a car to get on like there's no way to mess it up when you do that combination so this also has adjustable straps in the back which is a nice option but i would say as far as sizing it runs true to size and just like the sweaters i pared down from having a lot of cardigans in my wardrobe i just love a cardigan because it layers so beautifully with so many things and i just love that layered look in the fall time of different layers in the outfit so these go great with t-shirts cami's as i just showed you guys over dresses if it's like chili there's just so many different ways to wear it even if you're wearing a skirt and a cami it just it goes so well so i have paired it down i have three neutral colors and one blush pink so let's get into that so i have two boyfriend style cardigans i have this more like lighter knit option i just recently picked this one up it's in a beautiful oatmeal color but it comes in a ton of colors and i also love this too the bonus is that the price point is really good especially for how nice the quality is like i'm gonna get so much use out of this in this like oatmeal color because it'll go even like with what i'm wearing today blush pink camel everything like that it just is gonna go so well so this runs true to size i have the extra small i love the length on it even looks great with your basic t-shirt and jeans it'll go so well so i feel like that is definitely a top pick of mine another top pick of mine is this camel colored ribbed one i just got it in which is why i saw the tags on it but i love it so much i can't wait to pair it it's kind of reminding me actually of like a code again but i can't wait to pair again with like that candy i showed you guys in jeans i think that looks so gorgeous and it's a nice plush rib knit so very very soft really comfy this is a really good quality one it has the front pockets so this one does have these pockets like this it makes it a little bit more like i said that code again look and again this is expressed a really good price point on that one i also recently just got this one in from old navy it's kind of like a speckled knit and i love the knit design on this it looks so plush this one is not quite as soft as the other ones i showed you guys but then again the pricing is really really affordable so i wanted to include this option for you guys and this one is shorter too so sometimes what depending on the dress or skirt you're going with you may want to have this option in your wardrobe because i just think it is such a beautiful silhouette and of course if you're a pink lover like me you definitely would need a blush pink cardigan and i love this one so much it's ribbed and again beautiful like plush fabric and it's so soft and cozy and this is like a medium length i'd say like not too short not too long so again it'll go with so much even like i said the dress i have on i like burgundy and pink it's a beautiful combination um or with any of your neutrals this is such a good one and this one runs like a small medium so i'd say true to size all right up next we have a target find and i'm so excited about this one because it is so cute and so cozy and soft it is this plaid button-down shirt and i think it is just screaming fall to me like this would look so cute just by itself with jeans i could even throw a cardigan over it to break up the plot if i wanted to there's just so many ways to wear it and i just love it so much it's so cute and i love the price point i think it's under 20 dollars so it's so good and the quality feels incredible so really excited about this one and i also have another staple a t-shirt you just can't go wrong with and my mom actually introduced me to this brand she got this t-shirt for herself and once i felt the quality of it i was like i have to get one for myself so i got one for myself i just got it in and i think it is such a beautiful color tea and the quality is amazing like it's one of the best quality t-shirts i've ever felt and it's a really nice basic like tuck this in with jeans with the cardigan but i love that this is gonna pair so well with all the other color cardigans i have i just love this piece so much and the reason why i did this video too is all these pieces can be mixed and matched together so you'll notice that like a lot of these pieces will go really well together and mesh in your wardrobe really nicely so i just love the addition of this one because it is such a beautiful silhouette amazing quality i wish you guys could feel it i have nothing but great things to say about this tea so definitely loving it and really excited to style it for this fall next up i have a few fall dresses the first one i'm just gonna share with you guys what i'm wearing because i just love the silhouette dress i just think it is such a stunning burgundy like it's such a beautiful deep color for fall like burgundy is one of my favorite fall colors and this one is a little floral print it looks really tiny almost looks like a polka dot but it is a little floral print and i love it again this comes in multiple colors and i think it is so stunning i believe this comes in petite and tall sizing so if you feel like this might be a little short on you you could try the tall or even if you are usually petite and you want to get regular if you wanted to hit a little longer on you then maybe try sizing up as far as the length goes um but i am wearing an extra small width wise with true to size um it's like a nice like kind of slightly boxy dress and again with that flowy really flowy and statement sleeves i feel like this is such a cute statement dress for fall time i also can you guys tell look at this color palette happening we have a color palette in behind me too but um i just love this like faux wrap dress it's like an elevated twist on an everyday t-shirt dress for fall so this one again really great price point i think this is under 30 dollars so really good um it's like that t-shirt material but it has like a little puff sleeve detail has the faux wrap and it's a boxy fit so it's very forgiving if you're not sure about sizing you're kind of in between two i would size down but it's a beautiful fall color if you're looking to introduce some color into your fall wardrobe i feel like this is a really nice like not like in your face color like it's definitely like a toned down um color so i think it's absolutely beautiful we'll go with so much again with all the neutrals and another dress i have this is so comfy and just like effortless and easy to wear and this is a ribbed dress it's like kind of like a t-shirt-ish style dress definitely thicker than a t-shirt material it's all ribbed like i said so it's a thick material it's not gonna like cling to you or it's not gonna look unflattering like it definitely is very flattering it's a half like three quarter sleeve and i just love like the button detail it's just like that oversized again effortless dress okay you guys now for the accessories i have some handbags i have hats to share with you guys and some shoes but i didn't want to share too many shoes first of all because i'm going to be doing a complete shoe guide for you guys but i also just wanted to really narrow it down to really like the just the basics of fall shoes so the first thing i'm gonna share with you guys are these really fun hats you may recognize these hats from my channel and then i have my hair like kind of pinned back and whatnot we'll try it we'll see if i can put it on my hairstyle today doesn't really go but just imagine if i had my hair all down near my face i think it'll look a little bit better because all you see is like the hat right now but this is the baker boy hats i love these hats so much because they just look so stylish and chic and i got in this pink color and then i also got it in the white and they're really popular so they're gonna go in and out of socks so just keep checking back but um these also come in a couple other colors so i'll link those as well in case you guys are interested but definitely try this out this will look so fun even with your t-shirt and jeans just to like switch up your look try it out for sure and definitely let me know what you guys think about these hats i know it's like probably one of those things whether you just like don't like it at all or you just like love it um so yeah they're definitely different but i love them definitely give them a try if you're kind of like on the fence i have two different fall bags again this was another hard category but i want to show you guys some new options in case you wanted to check them out so this is a new addition to my fall wardrobe it is this tory birch bag so if you're kind of looking for something not super expensive but yet like really great quality i feel like this is a really nice option i held this back up to a lot of the different colors back here behind me which is always great to do in your wardrobe like if you get a new bag or a pair of shoes and once i held this up especially even to like this dress i feel like it just complemented all the pieces really really nicely this is a beautiful color it's kind of like a blush neutral color and i just absolutely love it i love like to wear over my shoulder it's kind of giving me like chanel vibes so i could kind of wear it like over my shoulder or crossbody because you could single out the strap oh like this so it's really really nice and i just think of course tory burch is amazing quality and this feels so soft like that chanel lamb leather that's what it feels like it is so buttery soft and you could fit quite a bit in here so i'm definitely really excited about this fall bag and if you're looking for an under 100 handbag option i love this one this is great if you're a student if you're going to work or just for every day if you're a mom or just like a girl on the go and you just want to hold a lot i just love this bag so much i feel like it just fits all the essentials and then some and of course this brown color again i held it up to all the other colors in my wardrobe and this is just gonna go so nicely with all the outfits so this has a nice um generous drop strap here so you can fit it on your shoulder like that and it has the long strap option as well and as i said a whole ton um this has a back zipper compartment so you could hold like receipts or something that you want to grab quickly you have the option as well all right next up is shoes we're gonna finish with shoes because they were like one of my favorite things for fall time but this was definitely a category that i was like i better pair this down because i don't want this to be so long and also i don't want to be overwhelming and i'm going to be doing like i said the fall shoe essentials video which you guys have to vote let me know if you want to see shoes first or a sweater guide so these though are really a quintessential pair of fall booties i love the heel height but they're a block heel so they're not going to be uncomfortable you can wear them for a long period of time and i love like how they have the elastic interior right here so you could get them on super easily they fit true to size i get my normal size 8 and they have the pointy toe which is very flattering if i could recommend one pair of fall booties it would be these right here the quality is incredible like i have so many pairs from this brand and they're in incredible condition and i just love this like neutral color i wear these boots with this dress if i wanted to with of course jeans there's so many different places i could wear these and they're just so casual and cute they're just like scream fall to me and they have more like a soft like rounded toe but they're very very flattering and they have the inside a zipper to get them on and off great great quality the comfort level on these is incredible i have similar boots to these and i could walk around for hours and hours and hours like practically all day long and they will not hurt my feet so i definitely recommend these they come in a couple other colors all it's all neutral so you really can't go wrong with any color but i'll list my color below because i can't remember off the top of my head if you're looking for just a really stylish and comfy pair of flats to wear these are really cute mules and i love these because they give you that designer look but for way less and i wore these so many times last fall and i'm so excited that they brought them back this year again these are going to be on heavy rotation again this year i have a feeling so definitely so cute and i just feel like they're just so ultimately comfortable like they're so good and they give you that designer look for less as i said i definitely want to include more of like a work wear or dressy option for like sunday brunch sunday best that kind of vibe i definitely wanted to share these with you guys so these are so beautiful they're like a dusty rose like maybe two and maybe one and a half to two inch heel on the back of their cute sandal they are really nice again for transitioning from now into fall even it's a little bit warmer where you live this is going to give you that fall look but more of a warm weather friendly option so these are so stunning and chic so definitely love these they're very comfortable i just want to say that is like the number one thing i love about them too is that they're so comfortable like they have a nice incredible amount of padding to them so they're really really nice to wear again for a long period of time all right so that is it for my fall wardrobe
