EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!!! 💕WEEK IN MY LIFE! + GIVEAWAY!!

hello you guys i'm starting off this vlog in my closet and office so this is gonna be a day in the life vlog or this may actually turn into like a week in the life vlog um so we'll just see where this goes but i am really excited i'm gonna start off this vlog sharing a very exciting announcement that i've been wanting to share with you guys for quite some time now but i can officially share it with you guys so i am going to be launching my own online clothing store and my online clothing store is going to be called karen rose and it's me karenrose.com and my instagram handle is in me shop karen rose so i'll have them all linked below october 23rd is when everything is going to launch i will have all the details listed out here for you guys as far as what time and everything like that um these are gonna be limited edition sweatshirts so this is gonna be the first launch so this is the first collection it's gonna be called the karen rose collection and i am just beyond excited i am so excited to finally tell you guys um it is going to be a combination of my own custom designed sweatshirts and other pieces to come in the future um but to start i'm gonna be launching two custom sweatshirts along with a curated selection of dresses cardigans tops and a bunch of variety um so it's gonna be like a curated collection of that along with i said my designed sweatshirts and here's a little sneak peek i'll show you guys this one i have two different ones this one says blush babe with a heart and i am just like totally obsessed with it i'm just so excited about how it turned out and this is like super soft i'll show you guys the other sweatshirt in a little bit in this vlog but you guys oh my gosh these were so fun to design um it took a lot of trial and error you i can't even tell you guys how many sweatshirts i tried out and they didn't work i wanted this to be where when you put this on it's just like one of your favorite go-to sweatshirts where it feels so cozy in that lived-in kind of slightly vintage feel to it where it's just like super cozy and undone and effortless i want you to feel good when you put it on and just feel super cozy but still like put together and girly i feel like with a lot of like graphic tees or graphic sweatshirts or just things like that and when it comes to like the cozier pieces i find that you know a lot of us have girly feminine style i feel like there's just not too many like to choose from so i wanted to create this the plan is to just about every month launch a new design especially like with seasonal designs and whatnot so this month i just wanted to start out with just the quintessential like i feel like karen rose sweatshirt i knew i definitely want to first create blush babe because blush is of course my favorite color and i know for so many of you guys um the same as well so i just wanted to create this collection and the future collections to be something where all of us like more feminine girly girls um could have pieces like all together in one online store and this is not going to change my youtube channel i'm gonna be continuing my usual filming schedule nothing like that is gonna change so don't you guys worry i'm gonna totally be doing all my regular try on haul videos from all my other favorite stores but this is just something i was really excited to add in for you guys and i just can't believe it i just can't believe it when i put the sweatshirt on i mean i when i first saw the finalized design i actually cried i was like oh my gosh this can't even be real this came and be real all right i can keep going on and on i'll show you guys some behind the scenes because it is going to be launch week is coming very soon so it is october 10th when i'm filming this so it's getting closer it's getting closer and so i'm going to be taking you guys along today i am shooting the collection all the pictures and the try on haul for you guys there's gonna be a try on haul my very own try and haul you guys know try on hauls are like one of my favorite videos to film and i'm gonna be doing my very own try on haul for karen rose so that will go live on the launch day right when everything launches there's gonna be over 15 like 17 pieces in the collection this month and get ready you guys because i'm so excited i have so many ideas for this um i just love being creative and this has been a dream of mine for a very very long time i've always wanted to design my own clothing so anyways i have to get to taking photos my mom is here she's gonna help me she's gonna take all the photos for the online store um the first photo we're gonna take is in my blush babe sweatshirt i don't know if you guys could see up close there we go so it's screen printed and i just love it the color i got the custom color you guys um the color i had to a special order because it had to be perfect like shade of wash pink so you guys know i'm picky about that so i i had to make sure it was perfect like i said the sweatshirts are so comfy like i just want to like wear it all day um so yeah i'm so excited okay so stay tuned and i am going to go take my photos now i just finished curling my hair and everything and we're gonna take the photos film my try and haul i'm so excited all right i'm gonna go and i'll see you guys in a little bit all right we're getting ready to film i thought i'd show you guys a little behind the scenes right here there's my camera and there's my rack with most of the clothing so my mom made this garland right on top of here i wanted a custom garland made um just for karen rose this is going to be my karen rose garland and i just hung all the pieces here but oh my gosh cannot wait to try all these on for you guys and share them all okay it is like four hours later you guys i just finished the photo shoot so we took photos i'll show you guys the background i just moved my rack for some of the photos and then we took like the try and haul um video as well and some instagram stories so we had to like film for like three different things so that is why it took over four hours but now i am definitely hungry i'm probably gonna eat some dinner soon and i can't wait to like go through all the photos and see how everything turned out um and then i still have to like take a few more like close-up shots but i'll probably do that tomorrow if it's not too dark although i think it's supposed to be rainy so i don't know i'll show you guys my little photo shoot area so you guys can see where i took the photos all right so as you guys probably recognize if you've seen my office tours in the past i have this whole section here apart from my like other section of my office ignore the not so pretty area right here um the electrical box but uh i usually cover that up with this screen but i was kind of getting changed behind there um but this is like my gallery wall and i moved the rack as i said my mom custom made this we like tied it up the string on here and um we just like use this blank wall for a lot of the photos and then some of it we had like this little shelving area so i thought it was perfect i didn't have to like get a backdrop or anything because i have this like white wall so i'm really excited like i said to see how these pictures turned out i'm gonna take my hot off i'm gonna have hat hair uh it was definitely a lot different to take the boutique photos versus like blog photos i mean not too different but there's definitely like a learning curve so my mom and i are just trying to figure out different angles and views of every outfit um so yeah but now like i said i'm hungry i'm gonna probably make some dinner i don't know what i'm gonna have yet that's always the big decision of the day right but i'll just meet you guys back soon hello you guys just get in my car i have to run a quick errand and i also want to get an acai bowl this morning or is like a smoothie bowl i guess is that the same thing i've been wanting to try out this like new local restaurant um that has these smoothie bowls that they just like brought on their menu so i wanted to try that today it is such a chilly morning um did i say today is wednesday it has been like this week is flying by um i've been just trying to get all the things done for the karen rose launch i am so excited you guys i can't wait to announce it so when you guys are watching this this will be the first day i announce and it's just surreal but anyways we have a lot to do today my schedule is like completely packed from now to launch especially is just like constantly like go go go and there's so many things that come up that i didn't even like realize um that went into it like just things like randomly that pop up that i'm like oh my gosh i have to do that so i am going to actually have to i'm going to do it like an online and pick up order because then you don't have to like be in contact it's like a contactless pickup for the smoothie bowl i can't wait i think i'll do like a strawberry and blueberry one i'll show it to you guys when i get it i just can't wait because i when i was first like tried out acai bowl when i was in boca raton florida and i like loved it so so much it was from a place called raw juice so if you're in i guess they're only in florida um they're so good and i miss it so much so maybe this will give me a little taste of when i was in florida so i'm gonna place my order online and that way i could just pick it up and then i have to run my other errand i'll show you guys the karen rose headquarters um a little bit maybe later today my parents were so kind to lend me some space for the karen rose headquarters so i'll be showing you guys is i just got some um boxes in of like merchandise and the sweatshirts i just got the text message that my sweatshirts are ready today so i'm really really excited so all the sweatshirts are done we're gonna have a large quantity of sweatshirts available but the more like clothing like the dresses and sweaters cardigans those kind of things they're gonna be smaller quantities um so just gonna share that with you guys in case you were wondering um there's just so much to share so if i think of anything else if you guys have any questions feel free to leave a comment below um i'm just really excited so that is it so far and i'm gonna get moving i have my vest on like i said it's a chilly morning i have this walmart vest on and just like a ribbed sweater and then a beanie because like i said it's a chilly morning so let's go run my errand and get the smoothie bowl i just got out of the restaurant to get this smoothie bowl i cannot wait to see what it looks like all right so let's see it looks really good it's so pretty the color is so pretty okay i don't know if you guys could see look at how good that looks all right we're gonna do a taste test let me get my silverware that they used me actually i'm going to do a quick boomerang of this before i mess it up because i want to take a pretty picture of it so hold on one second before i eat it i want to take a picture all right we're going to do a taste test and see if this compares to the one i've had at raw juice it's pretty good it's a little bit thinner of a consistency more like a smoothie actually consistency i'm used to the one where it's like awesome it's like extremely thick but the flavor is good it's gonna strawberry it's very refreshing that's for sure it's really good so i'm gonna go eat the rest of this and then i'll go run my other quick errand and then i'm gonna go to my apartment and then probably to karen rose headquarters and i'll show you more there so i just got back to my apartment i had the smoothie bowl i ended up only eating a third of it it was kind of getting all melty and sometimes it's just like a little too much sweetness at once so i put it back in my freezer maybe i'll just have a little bit of it um later today but i'll probably need a snack a little bit because i didn't eat much of it it was also like very runny i feel like when i make them at home actually they're a little bit like i can make them according to like the consistency that i like so i probably won't get it again but at least i tried it so that's at least i know how i like it but um i just got back to my apartment as i said i'm gonna film a nordstrom try on haul videos i have to go get everything ready for that so i'm gonna be probably filming that for a couple hours um and then that's actually gonna go up tomorrow which when you guys are watching this if you're watching this on saturday evening or whenever you're watching it or already be live on my channel because it's going up like i said in a day so that will already have been live so if you want to check it out if you haven't seen that but i'm gonna go film that i also figured i have a few of the pieces on this rack over here still my other darling sweatshirt i just realized i didn't show you guys the other sweatshirt um so i'm gonna show you guys what it looks like you guys are getting a major sneak peek right now so i'm gonna show you guys the sweatshirt and then actually two other pieces that i really like in combination with the sweatshirt you guys will see okay you guys here is a look at this other sweatshirt so this is our darling sweatshirt it is embroidered and it has like a hand-drawn looking heart on top of the eye which i just love that little addition when i was designing it i wanted to add the heart on top of the eye i just thought it was so cute and then um yeah so it's kind of like in the corner here and then whereas the blush babe is like down the center and the blush wave is screen printed as i said this one is embroidered and i just can't pick a favorite you guys vote below which one you like um do you like the blush babe or do you like the darling one better i just can't pick a favorite because they're both obviously i designed both of them so i just love them both equally like i know they're just very different um so i just can't pick a favor so maybe you guys can pick your favorite um i also want to show you guys these are our tags um they just say karen rose camrose.com and um you guys are probably gonna wonder how i picked caramels i'll show that how i picked the name so i have that's our tags and then here's a skirt that's launching in the karen rose collection there's a bunch of other items in the collection um these pieces are like curated by me and i love this skirt it's like a cheered ruffle skirt this is actually one of the first things i bought for the online store i love it it pairs perfectly with this you're gonna see my try and haul with everything the day i launch i'm gonna upload it and then these are the sweats so just a little quick sneak peek these sweats also i just love the color because they pair perfectly like they just coordinate these sweats or any sweats and skirts that you have they're all like mix and match with the sweatshirts which is why i selected like this silhouette and everything like that so you'll see me try them on like on my karen rose instagram it's gonna be shop karen rose and then karenrose.com and my town hall and all that so that's our little sneak peek of a bunch more pieces that are in the collection but i will maybe you'll see them at my karen rose headquarters in a little bit okay just sitting down before i film as i was mentioning about the name how i came up with karen rose so um karen is of course my first name but rose i came up with for as long as i can remember i have loved the name rose um i just think it's so pretty and i've just always loved that name so i wanted to combine that and also my late grandmother her name is rose it's actually gonna be eight years since her passing um it's actually this sunday coming um so the day after i upload this um will be the anniversary of her passing away and i just think of her so much especially like i think over all the time but especially when this time of year comes around because it was such a hard time um to go through and i just think of her and she was just so supportive i just think if she were here today um i'm gonna get all emotional if she were here today she would just be so excited for me and i wish she was here to see but i know she's looking down i know she'd be like one of my biggest fans i know that she would be so excited but i'm just thankful for all the support of my family and my other grandmother who watches my youtube videos i'm sure she's watching this right now she has been so sweet and supportive of my business when i shared it with her and especially my mom and dad they are just they've been so supportive and i like again i'm gonna get emotional just i'm i feel so blessed to have their support and all of their help my dad has been doing a lot of things like technical things with my business and helping me with a lot of that kind of stuff and then my mom of course who has supported me with lace and lashes since day one she's been here helping me i even like hire her as my assistant now she's been a huge help with lace and lashes and now karen rose so i am just so thankful they are both my biggest supporters and i just wouldn't be where i am without them and their support it just means everything to me and so we're kind of like all working together on this and it's just been quite the journey it's just been a lot of fun though mom and dad if you're watching this i love you guys so much and thank you for all the love and support you guys have shown me so yeah that's pretty much how i got karen rose as i said i just thought i'd share a little bit as to how i chose the name and didn't think i was gonna it was gonna become an emotional chat about it but anyways i am going now to finally go start filming and then i'll show you guys um i'm gonna go over to karen rose hq headquarters and i'm going to show you some more behind the scenes all right so i just finished filming my nordstrom try on haul i'm going to probably try to edit that tonight so i can get that done and um i threw my hair up in a messy bun now i just wanted my hair off my face for the rest of the day because like i said am i doing some computer work and whatnot so i did change into my other sweatshirt and never showed it to you guys on so this is the darling sweatshirt this is um embroidered with the little heart as i mentioned it is just so cute i am obsessed with it and i'm going to show you guys the fit of it in the mirror i just have it paired with these blush pink joggers i just love how versatile this sweatshirt is so i'm going to show you guys and talk more about the fit so that in case you guys wanted to order it when it launches um i could share with you guys all about the sizing okay so here's how the sweatshirt fits um you can see up close detailing and this is so soft and like more of that lived-in feel to it i really like the silhouette i didn't want to for the main collection like the karen rose collection i wanted these sweatshirts to be versatile so where you could wear them with skirts joggers jeans pretty much everything i love a sweatshirt and skirt combination even with like sneakers but i wanted the silhouette to not be too oversized i love the fit of this one because it has the perfect amount of room in it without being too oversized like i said if you want to wear it with a floral skirt or something like that then it's perfection and i just like love the fit i'm wearing the size small so it's going to be sizes small through extra large in the blush babe and then in the darling it's in resizes small through large just for starting out um this is the sizing i'm starting with but like i said i am going to be branching out into other sizing options um so definitely stay tuned but i really love how this turned out like i said i have a pair of these blush pink joggers from abercrombie and my golden goose sneakers um this sweatshirt i would say as far sizing i'd say true to size i'm normally an extra small so i had my mom tried on so my mom's regular size is the size small as well we both fit into the small um so if you're like an actor small just maybe a little bit slouchier on you um but otherwise i would say true to size unless you do one a little bit more oversized and you don't want to wear it necessarily with like say skirts and you just want to be like more loose fitting than what you see here like i said it is loose fitting i'm just trying to like go in more depth so you guys know exactly what size to get um but i would then if you're like really like kind of in between like say for a small i would categorize as like a four six if you're more like on the verge of a six but maybe an eight then maybe go with the medium just because then it's better to be a little bit more room than not enough so that's how i would say but otherwise i would just get your regular size for sure and you could see the back it goes a little bit longer i'll untuck it so you guys can see it's just really nice so i'm really excited to share this one with you guys i'm gonna wear this one for the rest of the day and just like how this whole outfit came together so yeah i'm gonna give you guys a little like office tour and tour of my new space that i'm gonna have karen rose um shipping from and whatnot so i'll show you guys that because i'm gonna be doing like all the shipping for the shop um probably my mom said she's gonna help a little bit too but i've been doing like all the processing of all the pieces and and just all the things so anyways let's go and i'll show you guys the karen rose headquarters all right so i am in the office and space where i'm going to package all the orders and whatnot and you can see a little peek of the rack behind me of some of the clothes i'm going to be having in the karen rose collection um here's i'm going to do like a little overview i also want to do a little sony clover unboxing if you guys um know in the past on my channel i love sony clover they have the cutest pouches so i placed an order on their new fall collection and it has to do with karen rose so i'm gonna show you guys that too because i just came in actually came in pretty quick um so i'll give you guys a little overview and thumbs up this video if you want to see like an in-depth office tour i'm still like figuring out where to put everything um so right now i kind of just place things but i'm going to do a lot of switching up and i'm still waiting on some other furniture to come in i also ordered a floor-length mirror for this space so i could do try-ons in here um but i'm gonna be waiting on that but i'll show you guys what i did so far all right so here is a little look at the space so far like i'm not gonna have all this merchandise here i'm actually going to be putting those in containers at first i thought maybe i do like a shelf of like sweaters and then like some flowers or something but i just decided i think i'm gonna keep it mostly for decoration i'm actually gonna get all quantities of sweatshirts tonight so i'm gonna be placing those into storage bins um but as far as like my curated um clothing i think i'm going to also put these sweaters in bins i don't want to hang the sweaters and then yeah this shelf like i said i have to decorate it i'm going to put a flower garland on here this rack that i got and then this long rack has a lot of the clothes that are going to be in the caramels collection and i cannot wait to show you guys this is just not all of them i'll show you guys have this area rug curtains and then we have all these that i have to process and like open and inspect and do all that kind of stuff with it so these are all the bins and some of the other merchandise as you can see there's a lot i have to go through this is just a very small portion of it i even have some more you can see in bins over there i have like a shipping table i have to put up and organize all that there's still a lot to do you can see this is my desk in here need to decorate it i want to probably get like a printer table or something i have a lot of packaging supplies i'll actually show you guys my thank you cards that's going to go on every package so i have these thank you cards that are going to go in every single package i've been signing them um just to add like a little personal touch to them so far i signed quite a bit of them i need to actually do some more probably within the next few days um but i've just been i got a gold sharpie and i've just been signing these i really like how they turned out so um you can see a sneak peek of the thank you notes so if you place an order you'll be getting one of these in your package and the tissue paper i can't wait for you guys to see all the packaging like i said i'll do more videos and vlogs if you guys want to see something like that um i could do like an in-depth office tour of course this is just like very preliminary decorating i have a lot to do with this space like i said the floor-length mirror is going to go here and you'll see more as i put it all together but i figured i'd also show you guys got this stony clover package in i ordered two different things um and i'm going to show you guys what i got okay here is what i got you guys i'm so excited i got a tote bag with my karen rose online store name on it i just thought this was so cute i definitely wanted to get something um with karen rose on it this time when they had the new launch i thought this was so cute and i figured this tote bag if i have to do like photo shoots and whatnot this could be like my karen rose tote bag and this is in their new like corduroy collection and then they just launched these like new really pretty pink patches and i love how it turned out it looks so good i did pay extra to get like for them to sew it on usually i would stick these on but with the fabric i feel like it's better just to pay the money and have it all like secure as you can see has a zipper up top i think i measured this and this like measures the same as my louis vuitton never full bag so it's very comparable in size and it also came with this shoulder strap that i could attach here if you want this as a bag that will just like hold everything it is so cute i also want to show you guys i got one other thing well i picked up two sets of these face masks if you've seen my favorites videos you know i love sony clover face masks um they're so incredible and they came out with these for their fall collection look at that detail so i ordered one set for my mom she wants to try them so i ordered them because i got free shipping on my order so then she figured she might as well add it on so so she could have the free shipping look at the beads on the side these are like the most comfortable masks when i talk with them on they don't like slide down on my face which is really nice and i love these colors they're so beautiful so these are definitely really great masks if you've been wanting to try them out i highly recommend them and i just think they're so pretty too all right so i hope you guys enjoyed this vlog i'm going to end it here i just want to say thank you for all
