F3 Sprint Race Highlights | 2024 Monaco Grand Prix

and we are go at Monaco for the Sprint race in Formula 3 a great launch for Tim tramit in the Red Bull Livery and he's taken second place away from the art Grand Prix driver of Lawrence van hoopen van hoopen teammate Nicholas solov leads the way coming up through Bo rage and mass for the first time a clean start I think all rounders Luke Browning in the all blue Williams colors there goes round the outside of Le fori oh spin one of the Red Bull Juniors has gone around oh big crash we've got loads of cars involved in that one unfortunately looks like we could see an intervention the Red Bull car facing backwards is Arvid lindblad the 22 car was involved I think in that as well we'll pick up the pieces into that a second I think maybe involved might have been Christian Mansel one of the AR cars uh Arvid lindblad was certainly the car facing backwards as the rest of the field now make their way out lindblad Manel du D in chac and shields don't appear to have come through the first sector there they are all queuing up ah I'm out I have nowhere to go mate oh my God ah you okay yeah I'm fine I didn't even see him man so Lind blood there coming across to try and take the best line into the second part of Casino Square so he's not under pressure in mirabo and uh and just un Ed with the car outside him and I think he'll look back at that and think first lap but Monaco maybe I should have expected there to be a car yeah I'm out uh I'd like f and uh there's that uh decent launch from browning opened up for him nicely you've got to be quite Brave to uh to try to break around the outside of sand devot because everybody does that jumps off that inside curb and then finds himself a little Gap forner onlyi smart hey good start buddy that was smooth safe well on smooth operations uh around the outside of fori to snatch the place we can see the cars quite literally connected together G and Matel have to engineer those two machines apart tesselated Formula 3 cars there as theyit the driver looking on fascinated there by the by the Marshall's work we are back underway and racing in the Sprint race in Formula 3 as soloff takes us across the line and up to lap four Tim tret is trying to warm up the tires the AR Grand Prix driver Nicholas solov heads out of sand devot and up the hill through bavage and he's made a great restart there he's already got a bit of a gap over tramitz who's under pressure from Van hoopen who's under pressure himself from no Leo solov has made the difference out front of the field one .5 seconds back to tramit which is a great gap for him to have at this stage of the race big sent in Trak making the move on Headley who's uh made his way up in uh into 22nd position there and is he going to hand back that's Montoya yeah making his way up the inside oh that's Casper stuker Casper stuker who was in that fight with Flur and Smith and is he got a puncture yeah looks like he's got right rear puncture to me there yellow flag I wonder if there's been a bit of contact safety cars deployed the Bulgarian dri leads us up towards Anthony nose corner different approach on the restart this time and he's gone for it out of Anthony nose corner as we head up towards the star Finish Line to start lap number 16 Nicholas solof for AR Grand Prix resumes the race up to sandor and he's made another great restart there Tim tramitz in second lawren van hoopen in third it's n Leon in fourth Joseph Lok in P5 and they're all right together marry Boer being left behind just slightly in P6 but the top 10 all through nice and safely oh no Sammy Megaton is slowing Samy megatune is slowing coming up through Bo rage and mass P vitki has a penalty meanwhile uh but we're watching on your screens Samy meat tun if slowing this is Mega tuni down the inside of the number 22 an amamos of Tommy Smith and these are two of the Jenza drivers fighting a little bit further down I imagine that's going to be the number 17 there of Charlie BS down the inside of Headley and there's Megaton if he's come to a stop at pit Lane Nicholas solivan one his finest performances in Formula 3 is going to become the first Bulgarian driver in Formula 3 history to take the top step of the podium and he does it in the Sprint race here at Monaco Tim tramit takes his third Formula 3 Podium behind and he is joined on the podium once again by Lawrence van hoopin who takes his third Formula 3 Podium of the season history made once again in Formula 3 and it's done by this man here Nicholas [Music] Sol yeah thank you so much oh my God finally mate our time is coming now mate celebrations then on the podium for solov well here is the result confirmed for you four points on the board in this Sprint race for Nicholas solov Tim tramit finishing in second place it becomes two art Grand Prix drivers on the podium with Lawrence van hoop congratulations to Nicholas solov what a moment that's going to go right to the front of the cabinet he's had a tough time at times this season Nicolas solo but he's bounced back in the best possible fashion and he's put his country on the top step for the very first time and that will make a lot of people proud
