defensive bfm once again we are starting offensive behind a defensive f 22 the f-22 is flown by shotgun uh one mile off his tail that'll be fights on and he's going to try to defend again he's going to try to create aspect problems uh closure problems for us and he's going to try to go from being defensive to being offensive and killing me theoretically that's very hard to do uh whoever is the offensive aircraft has basically every advantage you know you've caught this guy on his six one mile off his tail like there shouldn't be a whole lot he can do from here but that is an f22 so you know we're gonna see how this plays out um we are one mile off his tail that's fights on you'll see him dropping flares and oh my god he just neutralized it right there no worries the hornets aoa will allow me to pressure him a little bit here maybe we got ourselves a rolling scissor not really a place you want to be against an f22 i'd be more worried if i was in anything other than a hornet although you can see that f22 is offensive he just hit me oh no that's it dude i'm out i mean he just is basically all my six now there he is great trying to counter him a little bit but i'm not sure if i can let's see if i can use the hornet's aoa to point my nose up in such a way that he won't be able to kind of getting away with it here [Music] it doesn't look like he wasn't able to he's just trying to repo he'll be back should be on my left side here there he is uh yeah he's got me lined up now okay you got me all right all right all right let's punch out good kill all right he did a very good job in that last round neutralizing that fight i think it took him like one turn and that really comes down to the aircraft's ability to bleed off its speed because that's what caused the closure problems which you know got him behind me he did a very good job with that here we're going to do it with the f-15 this time and remember we want to enter his turn circle i don't want to just pull him into the hud and [Music] if i can just get nose on here we can get a gunshot classic f22 move here he's got the rolling scissor going which is causing closure problems and look at that look at how easily he almost slots in behind you oh wow whoa that was an interesting move that was a very interesting move almost hit me with guns there uh oh boy hydraulic failure all right make 29 this time mig-29 has come really close in the past when we've done uh dogfights against the f-22 it's come super super close to killing the f-22 i think if i remember correctly in that video i i just nicked its wing i'd almost make this way by like a couple what seemed like inches but the f-22 still killed me um the mig-29 has decent nose authority at slow speeds so it might oh never mind [Laughter] f22 just uh f22 just one offensive [Laughter] oh boy uh okay he's on my six i he just bleeds off energy too quickly i don't know what i'm supposed to do against him he's too good i guess i can try to make this a vertical fight but he's just going to point his nose at me on like right here he's going to point his nose yeah oh [Music] all right f16 we all know and love let's see what this thing can do against the f-22 and enter that turn circle all right stay with them here this one's actually going pretty well trying really hard not to just yank him into the hud but you know we'll want to get him into like a rape fight if possible but he's getting a pretty significant altitude advantage on me here which means he's gonna dump his nose and start raiding yeah okay i mean just to drag this thing into a rate fight has is quite an accomplishment here this f22 and usually i'm long dead by now and oh he's high and he's pointing his nose here he's coming around he might be baiting me we're gonna drink in case he shoots he didn't shoot he tricked me he tricked me we're out of plane now and great oh wow that was close he baited me into uh doing a drink there getting out of plane which made it easier for him to kill me okay su-27 this thing's gonna be hopefully a little bit more competitive because of its ability to use the cobra um or you know turn off the fcs systems in order to do a cobra that's often just referred to as you know the cobra button even though what it is is turning off the fcs flight control systems and all that uh this f-22 what really makes it deadly again is its ability to bleed off speed so quickly and point its nose wherever it wants the uh su-27 here i'm gonna have to use the the cobra button or fcs button defensively i think you know i can get out of his nose with it oh boy yeah see we'll pull it there it kind of just gives me a few extra angles and gets me out of his head minimum speed minimum speed does make it more difficult for him to point his nose at me minimum speed minimum speed [Music] see he is struggling a little bit minimum speed and i just need him to make a mistake but that's not that doesn't look like a mistake alright give me a chance i think so good all right i'm back in the horn at this time the hornet is one of those ones that in my opinion creates the most problems for the f-22 uh mostly because of the hornet's ability to get slow and the high aoa capabilities of the hornet i think uh you know and and it's it's nose authority in those slow regimes i think makes it the most difficult opponent for the f-22 for the most part that's how i felt anyway so we got the hornet back here we got fights on with the f-22 and that first turn he's gonna beat me again and immediately offensive and now i got to try to neutralize and become offensive again it's a remarkable ability to just go offensive on the first or second turn by the f22 starting from such a disadvantageous position you know to start off with a banded one mile off your six is look at that look at this guy he just points his nose great thank you so much for that okay 29 again just because i feel like i can probably do a little bit better than last time in the 29 uh but i think i'm done maybe this round maybe one more and then i'm done it doesn't seem to be doesn't seem to be going any differently for me following him into his turn circle you want to do the turn circle entry right don't want to just yank him into the hud create allow him to make it easier to create aspect problems although it is an f22 and that's exactly what he does oh my god i don't know why he took his finger off the gun there but he would have just sawed me in half there if he wanted to maybe he's just having fun i don't know but he's offensive again you saw how quickly that thing went offensive against anything i put up against him he's offensive in the first turn and now i'm slow at the top yeah great thank you great all right all right all right one last round this is it i'm done after this i'm getting frustrated we got the hornet again again these are the two i think they make 29 uh could have done a lot better but it just didn't seem to perform the way i expected it to maybe i should have been slower in it but the uh the hornet here i feel confident that i can maybe kill him this time and so we're gonna bring the speed down 450 he's already reversed that turn into me 390 370. he's not offensive yet but he has neutralized the fight and now he's offensive oh okay all right slow speed and hope for a mistake come on morning baby point your nose he hit me [Music] he hit my wing tip or something there oh boy oh yeah okay thank you he hit me there i fired the gun just to see if i could scare him off but i could not and uh i think he messed me up
