EXPOSING The 'Veneer Techs' of Tiktok! *your teeth will fall out*

hi everyone it's Isabella here and welcome back to the channel so today's video all right I actually literally not even kidding yesterday I booked an appointment dentist appointment the dentist gives me the most anxiety I do have really bad Dental anxiety I've had to communicate this with my dentist I'm stressed out I have a lot of work that I have to get done sadly but you know what [ __ ] happens I'm very very thankful that I'm able to take care of it I think that is a huge privilege but still it's awful okay and when I think about dental work I think of something that is extremely extremely important and serious you don't want just anyone anyone and their mother playing in your mouth however oh my God I have fallen down such an intense rabbit hole about veneer technicians fake braces teeth whitening all done by unlic and unregistered individuals who are taking courses and doing [ __ ] illegally something called veneer technicians now this is something where individuals who are literally not registered at all starting a business and doing [ __ ] and there's a lot going on so we have a lot to dive into today um this is a very interesting video and so much more so I want to dive into the unethical and sketchy ass reality of these veneer technicians and let's talk about it so before you up in today's video don't forget to hit that Thumbs Up Button subscribe to the with me more and yeah let's get into it so let's give a backstory we are going to be doing some reactions to a lot of this stuff I originally came across video that was talking about a 2-day course for veneer technicians now originally I was like oh maybe like social media marketing is being used for a course that's like maybe something that's like additional education when it comes to Dentistry like again I'm not familiar with this so I'm super curious I'm like two-day course I'm like well [ __ ] that makes sense you know maybe they're professionals and it's just like a touchup something but the more that I looked in the comment section the more that I realized oh my God this is for people who are have not gone to school to be a dentist or anything involving your teeth for that matter this is for everyday people going in and learning how to do veneers oh my holy [ __ ] I have a few disclaimers we need to get out of the way we're going to have some giggles I'm going to be honest with you you're probably going to hear me ugly laugh we're we are going to giggle but we are also going to have a serious side to this I am not trying to harass anyone I'm not trying to bully anyone I'm not trying to do anything of that kind I see a problem I talk about it end of story there are victims of this which is a severe problem and this is getting into medical and dental problems which is [ __ ] insane this is not normal we need to talk about this and I'm wanting to utilize my channel to make this entertaining while at the same time educating because this is genuinely bad another real quick thing I do want to say before we actually get into this video is just again have balance when it comes to the perspective of this I know there's many comments I've just seen as I've dug into this discussion is oh well they deserved it whatever you got is what you get you deserve to have your teeth fall out and while I understand that some people think that this is a stupid decision I think we can all collectively understand that we have all made stupid decisions okay and I don't think that anyone deserves to have bad things when it comes to their health happen all because they fail for a scam again at the end of the day from my personal opinion all of this is a scam while this CS can absolutely be a dumb decision that someone make I think we also have to remember when it comes to insecurities and wanting to make changes and do better for ourselves sometimes in that vulnerability we can fall into something so easily and just have trust and hope that somebody might be able to help us out I really just ask for everyone to have some understanding and have more blame towards the [ __ ] that are doing this over the victims of the actual scam and crime to begin with veneer technicians apparently are individuals who have a course a certification that I'm betting my left HT was probably designed and created on canva and printed out moral of the story is these certificates are being printed out and there's these courses that are being held who are teaching people how to start veneers now the whole concept of this is you are going to be able to make a [ __ ] ton of money every month by doing veneers so this is extremely alarming I don't know if yall do or don't know first of all I have nothing against veneers I have friends and family who have gotten veneers done they look phenomenal if you know where to go and if you are able to educate yourself and be very cautious with where you go to you're going to be okay it is super important to be someone who is educated and going to school for being a dentist there's technical terms for it you get the vibe going to school to do this why because when it comes to veneers you can't just put veneers on right the average everyday person should not be doing that you should be knowing everything about teeth because what if somebody has cavities what if something is not going to work out for your teeth Additionally you also have to have the proper equipment so that way things fit properly and so that way you don't do long-term damage and also from what I was able to learn there's some people who shouldn't get veneers yet because they have other dental work that they need to get done they should be going to professionals I've actually highlighted in a previous video and several others I'm very adamant about speaking out against pseudo science and very unethical [ __ ] that prays on health and wellness this is a very scary thing right now like the more that I dug into this topic I was so alarmed so we are going to react to some examples I'm going to give you all of what I'm witnessing so this is one of the First videos I saw and I am alarmed I'm Brandon from a Smiles Atlanta I'm Dr Maurice from colia and together we're having a two-day veneer class here in Atlanta I have more than 20 years of experience doing composite and we together can share with you all the SEC for do the best compos veneers together we've trained over 300 people on how to successfully do composite veneers oh [ __ ] me sideways okay oh every time I got to get a deep breath I literally get shocked every time we have one individual that says doctor and another individual that just says Brian okay twoing red flags here one is this guy he might have experience does he have a license and is everything good to go is it update in the state that he he's in also what in the absolute [ __ ] are you doing as a professional in this industry teaching people who have no background or education in dentistry that sounds like a cash crab to me oh I'm going to make money teaching these people if I come in and I give y'all the real good information it's just a side hustle this doctor is a problem that is not normal and then we have Brian okay Brian I cannot believe you get on here saying you're going to host a two-day course two days okay and you don't even whip out any credentials we've taught 300 people so you mean to tell me we have over you're training 300 people to just Goof Off in someone's mouth just to be like nah that'll work not everything deserves to have a course if you're interested in the to directly actually one of them the link didn't work and I'm like that's real professional you want me to trust you with my teeth but link tree doesn't work at all okay some of these links I'm showing this is The Upfront cost and investment for this course now I don't see any credentials is being shown by Bryant but I'm seeing him a lot showing people how to do this that is significantly alarming people who are going to school for years which actually if y'all are a dentist or involved please comment down below how long it is to go to school we are on a high-speed train just Trucking through stupidville what the I'm literally I know I'm being so mouthy right now but this is this is bad for a TW day course to learn everything I can't even figure [ __ ] out in 2 days people can't even learn to drive a car in 2 days anyone who's in dentist school I think that's what it's called is going to learn a lot in 2 days what in the hell are you doing a two-day course I would expect if you're going to do it at least sell the concept better and be like we're going to do a week's worth several weeks it's going to be a month something but you don't even do like a good maybe test after this course you don't make sure that everything's okay is no one using our brain cells like wow in the comment teach me please and this is their response visit our Instagram page or check out the link all of my suspicions every time I dig into a scam or something sketchy I'm like please Bella please be wrong Bella please be proven wrong again I'm right and then I go talk about it these are the comments on this exact video I will be checking to make sure my veneers are done by a board-certified dentist if I ever need them um you do have to be a dentist especially since people can develop Decay and periodontitis if not done appropriately then it says let me go learn how to apply braces which actually funny enough is literally another thing that I found is well is people applying braces and they're not qualified yeah I like what my dentist spent more than a few weeks on his craft exactly that's because composite doesn't shave down the teeth it basically is like putting on costume teeth because composite will wear down after some time so this is another video that is kind of promoting this class it says ready to become a veneer technician comes with a veneer kit certificate of completion from who where is this accredited course from student liability waiver vendor list support chat and group vendor list so here's my thing and I want to know I really really need somebody to pop in on this as well because I honestly I'm going to ask my dentist when I go like because I'm so curious about this when it comes to ordering things like this and material for creating the near or anything for that matter do you have to be certified to get them and if so I'm wondering who are the vendors where they are getting this kind of material from that's what I'm extremely concerned about because if there's a whole process you have to go to in order to even have access to this then like they're getting [ __ ] that should not be in your mouth is from what I'm seeing again please correct me if I'm wrong I'm not trying to spread of misinformation but that was my theory so in regards to veneer tags this person asked who is shipping and selling them their material and instruments well I think I have an answer for you teu I can't think of any other place these people will get their material because look let me show you what I found you can buy temporary tooth veneers 50 pieces in a box 248 not bad here is a seven piece dental composite resin filling kit with silicone $33.98 a 50 piece box of temporary crowns oral porcelain for $2.98 and look at all this dental equipment I don't know what half of these things are but baby it's available for anyone to buy here's some more dental equipment who needs a dental equipment plug when you have teu they have a nine piece box of dental composite polishes and here's some more equipment so I actually did find a page that is talking about a veneer technician certified instructor and so much more this is just a page that I saw people reacting to on Tik Tok and I'm using it as a simple example this is the original page that I was found called litty whites veneers and gems cosmetic teeth whitening cosmetic composite veneer FDA certified certified instructor teeth gem Tech and then there's the number two book I will be bluring that out I don't feel comfortable sharing that on my page so it says teeth whitening and Gem training so some of these individuals are also going as far as not only to take courses and do things uncertified but it appears to me from what I'm just seeing they're also hosting courses of their own uh which is extremely alarming so let's just read off a couple of them $1,000 course $500 deposit for teeth whitening course for teeth gem courses and so much more not everything needs to be a course and I cannot scream that louder there are people who will do all these courses and it's not necessary like we've hit such a wild like time in our world where people are trying to take this digital marketing concept and be like that means we have to sell a course and they try and sell course on everything but we have exceptionally underqualified individuals selling [ __ ] to you and that is so alarming I think this is also so disappointing because I understand the emotive to want to help people and offer more and finding a side hustle because especially in this day and age people are looking for ways of making extra income and supporting their families I just get so upset when we get into an Avenue like this that can genuinely impact somebody's Health transform your smile with area that should that's kind of problematic it says appointment address is sent to the phone number provided 24 hours before the appointment why I don't have to sell my soul to get my dentist address like that's kind of excessive 10x10 composite veneers for 4 hours at 1,500 do not book without prior approval text three photos to our team at blank for a free consultation 4 hours at 1,500 10x 10 composite veneers no pain no downtime no anesthesia no shaving or altering of natural teeth last five plus years with proper care and maintenance you can do an 8 by8 then you also is basic whitening Advanced whitening and so much more I don't see any proper disclaimers at all now I actually want to talk about this from a contract side as well because there's other people who are doing this who are trying to claim that they're going to be perfectly fine that they can't get suit that nothing back can happen to them and that's where we're going to get into the legal issues of it all and the law and cite a lot of really good information to prove why this is very much illegal aren't you afraid to get in sued well they can't technically sue me because I have everybody signed a paper before they start and basically that protects me from any um lawsuit or any action I'm not a legal professional let me get that out of the way but from what I have learned please correct me for wrong what I have learned is when it comes to things like an NDA right if something if someone does something like really IL legal you can report that [ __ ] still that just doesn't mean the NDA purpose is to prevent you and like this is just an example of a document the NDA purpose is for something's like don't leak the damn family recipe right that makes sense but if Barry who doesn't want you to leak the recipe also doesn't want to leak that he hurt you that's not going to work you making up a contract doesn't necessarily mean that you are just going to go above the law okay you're still doing something illegal so even if they're like no you sign this paper one is it done right and is it actually created that would work you have proper disclosures and disclaimers saying hey I'm not a dentist like I'm not a professional either way though you are still running a practice independently even without the contracts that is illegal if you're doing this kind of [ __ ] so this is still this is not going to do that and I got that I got it like one of my friends she uses it for like all of her things so she just sent me a copy of it and I have them sign it so that's super alarming don't have a copy of a like a document sent from front don't use that so can you tell us more about what it is that you make your customer sign so the paper that I got from my uh patients it just basically says that they're consenting to the veneers so that they know I'm putting the stuff on their teeth and that they want it to be on their teeth so basically that's it so when if they try to take me to court I have that because it says that they wanted this stuff on their teeth this is another thing people are forgetting you can still get in some legal trouble if you don't properly disclose things companies that have offered things like Nas papers all that stuff if you don't properly make things clear that can get thrown out same thing that goes for example prenups that's a really good example of this there could be individuals who were under the influence when signing that prenup and if it wasn't done right that could be thrown out they were under the influence they weren't a right of mind that could be a problem another example of this for prenups as well is if you didn't properly disclose your assets or your financial situation if you were hiding things like that that could lead to something getting thrown at in court so just because you have a paper does it mean that you're good to go is doing composite veneers kind of like doing nails oh yeah yeah I always tell anybody if you know how to do nails you can do teeth you could do veneers it is lit I'm going to develop the thousand yard stare after reacting to this [ __ ] oh my if you can do nails you can do veneers if I put Neosporin and Bandit on a cut then that means I can do surgery these no this [ __ ] is not the same as this sh okay by the way these are really but teeth connected to nerves I hate this so much you're just doing the shape putting it on there using the light boom they're done like if you can just focus and make it the right shape that you want you can do it and you can learn it fast veneers are not to fix all veneers are not an easy thing to do you have no idea what the you're doing but the fact that you're downplaying it is that's not normal these veneer techs are going to kill someone and it's only a matter of time hi I'm Daniel I'm not a dentist but I do have a biomedical engineering degree let's get into it dental veneers are a very simple cosmetic treatment for someone with 8 to 10 years of schooling namely a dentist however we are seeing businesses offer completely illegitimate certification on being a veneer Tech with a faster turnaround time than it takes to actually get veneers the proper process involves filing down your teeth having the dentist take a mold of your teeth and then you get temporary veneers put in you then go to a follow-up appointment to have the permanent set bonded to your teeth I promise you the veneer kit that these businesses are offering are the temporary set at best they do not have access to medical grade porcelain manufacturing now if you look closely at my mouth or maybe you have one of your own you'll notice it's close to a lot of really important structures you can and will die of dental related sepsis and the infection can spread to the bloodstream and [ __ ] up other things which is why it's so important to go to a dentist's office because they have single-use sterilized equipment don't [ __ ] with this in a non-sterile environment don't eat ass with an open mouth wound one of these veneer teexs is going to cut into somebody's is going to cut away too much enamel they're not going to know how to handle it because they weren't trained and it's going to go septic and kill the person I'm actually going to be showing an account that's called divorce and family lawyer and she's going to be citing all these sources I'm so happy that we have other professionals speaking out on this but uh listen because yes all the stuff that's happening right now is in fact illegal this dude right here Devon who works for VBS smes Atlanta and the unlicensed practice of dentistry in the state of Georgia is a crime so I stumbled upon this lady's story and I was curious so I started doing a little bit of research mind you I'm an attorney but I am not licensed in Georgia and this is outside of my area of practice but I did find some statutes so let's read them so this is from the Georgia Code which states that things like veneers so applying any Dental Appliance cap covering proost prosthesis or cosmetic covering cannot be applied unless you are a licensed dentist or you're working under the prescription of a licensed dentist another part of the Georgia Code which says that it is um a felony for you to practice Dentistry without a license if if you are charged with this you as the defendant have to prove that you were licensed to do the work and this is another part of the Georgia Code this is all stuff you can look up yourself now these are the terms and conditions for the guy that did this young lady's um or who took this young lady's money to do the veneers um and he's really popular on Instagram and Tik Tok for veneers and here it says at the bottom it says that you consent that he is not a um licensed dentist that he is a trained and certified veneer Tech now I look I did some quick research and I couldn't find anything in the state of Georgia that recognizes a veneer Tech as a actual thing and by putting in your Acuity scheduling link that you acknowledge that I'm not a dentist I don't think really goes as far as it needs to in order to protect your consumers because most consumers might see Tech and they think oh they're licens or whatever but according to the state of Georgia it doesn't seem that way I understand that we want to have it all we want to have that beautiful smile we want to have all these great things but a lot of these things cost what they cost and when we go the cheap route we run the risk of having unlicensed people playing in our mouth before you go to this guy or anybody else that you find on social media or whatever check their credentials it's so easy to check you can just go online and you can search their names you can verify their licenses you can see if there's any history of disciplinary action or anything like that um and just ensure that you're getting the best care because this guy char chares a few thousand and it's not like a huge amount of money but it's still a lot of money for someone who's going to be investing in their mouth and again letting somebody play in their mouth so just be careful out here and she is correct I was looking that up actually for Kansas for example cuz that's where I'm at Kansas is really saying a lot of similar stuff as well it is illegal to do these things this is extremely alarming that people are just casually going on and trying to argue in the comment section that this is something that is okay there's some people who are going even further than that and they are also doing things as well that are still illegal in their practice so this is one that's called Princess Cuts Smiles now there are other things that she's doing like B veneers she does braces removal then she does verer training course 3,500 no missing tooth with full veneer set $100 please don't do that Gap closure $200 close Gap in your mouth I mean for 25 minutes say it with me y'all no fangs 250 two pointed side teeth six veneers top and bottom 600 $1 that's alarming chip tooth fix if you have a chip tooth I can fix the chip with veneer composite $100 not only do we have other attorneys and professionals speaking out we also have other individuals in the industry speaking out against this I am so glad that an attorney has stepped into the picture because me as a dentist a lot of people think I'm just hating maybe I don't know why I would hate cuz I'm the one that has an actual degree but I think a lot of people don't take what we say seriously and they're like well how is it illegal well he not prepping the teeth he just putting goodbye on it's bigger than that it's Dentistry is not just about teeth I want y'all to know that it's the study of teeth but it's about managing patients primarily the teeth is one part of the puzzle you have to manage patients who are hypertensive I had a patient who wanted to come get treatment blood pressure 200 over 150 does your veneer technician know how to manage a medical emergency right do they know how to see Decay that may not be like as alarming and do they care that it's there are they just going to throw the it over it so that you walk out with a white piano key looking smile these are things you need to consider on top of the fact that primarily it's illegal if you go watch this video but you know most of the people that go to veneer text I don't think they care about the legality behind it to be completely honest that's a conversation for another day but I will continue to profess this fact that a veneer Tech teeth by tshir all them things are illegal not real and honestly very detrimental to your health I'm going to have you look at a couple of photos and videos and then I'm going to come back to this comment as to why dentists are the only people who should be performing [Music] veneers so all those photos and videos I just showed you are from somebody's home or their Studio they were not in a medical setting nor were they in a dental office in a dental office we are held to very strict guidelines on how we perform procedures the rooms are are sterilized a certain way our instruments are sterilized a certain way you can't touch certain things and our instruments are from medical equipment companies we do not do medical procedures or dental procedures from our home for a good reason and infection is probably number one secondly you cannot tell what kind of veneer somebody needs or a crown or whatever from a picture of their mouth so if you look at those photos and they say send us a photo what kind and we'll tell you what kind of veneers you need you cannot diagnose what somebody needs from a photo it is done through an impression or like a 3D scan of your tooth that is sent to a lab to have it decided like what needs to be done like the Marin which is like kind of like where the tooth meets the gum to make sure that that lines up all of these things again are done by a dentist and the reason they're done by a dentist is because before you even get a veneer not everybody is a candidate for a veneer not every tooth is a candidate for a for a veneer a lot of people need perod doal maintenance before that a lot of people need just a proper cleaning a lot of people need Orthodontics a lot of people need an oral surgeon to get the teeth out that they don't need if they're overcrowd there's a lot of things that you need before getting veneers and I think a lot of people think that oh I just want white straight teeth but before that can happen you have to make sure that your oral health is perfect before or getting an overlay over your tooth it is not purely about Cosmetics then you run into the risk of getting infections so sure there might not be drilling down the teeth in this particular video or the ones that I just showed you but when you enter the mouth and you kind of do a little drilling or whatever you're doing you're opening up the um pathogens for serious bacteria in there so again this is not a cosmetic procedure that can be done in your fingernails or your eyelashes this is in your mouth and when you compromise your tooth structure and you're doing these things without the proper gum and oral care you are seriously open yourself up to a huge K of worms and a huge infection risk this is so dangerous and illegal let's assume hypothetically that I had a patient present to my office who had a veneer technician performed some bad Dentistry on her smile and now this patient's in pain and needs me to help step in and fix the problem would I as a dentist be liable for that veneer technician's work well technically nobody can be liable for that veneer technicians work because what she did was assault and battery performing Dentistry without a license to perform Dentistry is illegal but it's a confusing example so let's use something simpler we all know that stealing is illegal so therefore you can't get insurance on your theft practice in similar ways this veneer technician can't get insurance for any of the work that she's doing because she's doing something illegal I on the other hand do have expensive medical malpractice insurance but I'm not concerned about needing to use my medical malpractice insurance to cut off some bad pieces of dentistry and help a patient feel more comfortable and smile again I'm not particularly concerned about that patient suing me for removing her bad veneer technician work because I know what I'm doing because I'm a licensed dentist and I've been trained to do what I'm doing so I follow the rules in the textbooks that I read for 8 years and I follow the biological principles that I've been trained on and I would therefore very much be able to help remove those pieces of Dentistry dentistry and help the patient feel confident again and smile in a healthier way so now that we know that this is illegal this is not normal whatsoever let's actually talk about cases of people who have gotten arrested and charged for this I was doing my Googling last night cuz I was like okay there's got to be people that have been caught in this [ __ ] I found several cases so let's go over them so hopefully if there's anyone coming across me that is doing this please stop okay let's get into it this is on CBS News unlicensed dentist leaves Chicago area patients with fake braces and a chip tooth this is posted April 12th of 2024 multiple patients have complained about the same Illinois dentist worrying about what she put inside their mouths their allegations sparked the state and Suburban Police Department to launch an investigation she said the woman in a Tik Tok video worked on her teeth her name is monicaa Davis state record show Davis registered the veneer expert as a business in July of 2023 we're changing lives one smile at a time Davis said Bailey said her problem started when she tried to make a following up appointment one of the numbers was disconnected the other one nobody would answer Davis was nowhere to be found and literally CBS 2 could not locate her name on the State website where dentist should be registered in Illinois dentists need to have a license and apparently the veneer expert had also been operating at a Las Vegas strip mall and Davis got picked up for illegally practicing Dentistry without a Nevada Dental license when asked about seeing Davis's mug shot Bailey said she quote couldn't believe it coure documents show Davis was released from police custody in Nevada on January 31st it was only days later that Bailey said she and her daughter got braces from the unlicensed dentist so this individual was still doing it it's Crea to me that she can do this in Las Vegas and post bail and you can come here and do the same thing another example back in 2017 woman accused of unlicensed Dentistry advertised on Instagram this is a post example showing teeth whitening perfect Smiles authorities Arrest A New Orleans wom accused of Performing dental procedures without a license doing business as bossy smiles and waxes by boss b LLC Britney Bridges 29 offered services such as braces maintenance and teeth whitening at a Terry town office advertising them on Instagram according to a Jefferson Paris Sheriff's Office incident report but bridges does not hold a license in the Louisiana state board of dentistry a violation of state law Authority said and she said that she was going to go fight this in court because you quote don't need a license for teeth whitening the sheriff office learned of Bridget's alleged unlicensed business venture on April 11th after receiving a complaint from a actual dentist office where she used to work Bridges was recently fired but her former co-workers told a supervisor that she'd been offering the money to steal Dental Supplies the employees also revealed that Bridges had been advertising dental procedures on Instagram page according to the Sheriff's Office surfaces marketed included teeth whitening for 130 braces maintenance and Snap-on porcelain veneers and there was kind of unknown as what actually happened with that case but there are many examples of people getting arrested for doing things like this another thing that I briefly wanted to cover is the fact that there are other people who are calling themselves veneer technicians they are also doing orthodontist practices so what I mean by that is they are actually trying to put on and remove braces I had the metal braces and invisaline that entire process is exceptionally difficult and very very expensive and the practice of moving your teeth to make them perfect and straight is a lot and requires a lot of monitoring care and updates and when we have people who have literally no idea what they're talking about making and putting on braces that is so terrifying so allow me to show you some examples of this and people who are doing all of this in random unauthorized locations so I was unaware of the fact that some of you apparently are still unaware of the fact that yes there are braces texts y'all they ain't just doing at home veneers they're doing at home braces they're doing braces at home I'm I'm telling you they is they is I'm telling you and we're going to go through some of them together okay don't be mad at me for talking about it be mad at yourself for being a criminal so first we have Majestic braces Health and Beauty cosmetic braces no refund no extra company no kids first red flag that bio sounds eerily similar to the booking side of every Atlanta hair stylist that's going to text you hey boo the morning of your appointment and then once again you see no extra company no kids and apparently they were starting new prices in February $6,000 for both rows eight per row $7,000 for both rows 10 per row $9,000 for both rows 12 per row and all this stuff that's scratched out that's any like phone numbers and addresses and stuff cuz I'm not going to be accused of docs and nobody's personal information and if you scroll a little bit down their page you will come across this video showing their workspace next we have braces For Less H not the pay lless braces but they go on to say looking for braces and not the monthly hassle see this is what I mean when I say they try to spin it and Market it as if they're doing it out the kindness of their heart like they're super concerned about people of low income being able to access dental care we are your Premier mobile orthodontic experience servicing all of the metropolitan Atlanta area then they have the little menu you know little menu like the nail text be making you know short set this price long set this price double XL this price but they went on to say lature ties $80 lature ties and power chain $90 power chain $95 lature ties in an individual row 50 power chain in an individual row 60 initial banding metal braces 400 top and bottom ceramic braces 500 top and bottom individual row metal braces $225 individual row ceramic braces $275 bracket repair 15 bucks $400 for an entire set of braces oh wait and if you look here at the top [ __ ] I didn't even see that at first oh the little fine print up there at the top $25 mandatory deposit required nonrefundable yeah them people's teeth is about to fall out as non-refundable too one I think we need to acknowledge the fact a lot of dental procedures are far too expensive it is just the reality of it it's it's disgusting it makes me Furious that people have to do crazy things in order to get Accessible Dental Care it pisses me off it makes me angry I am so devastated that people have to experience this the problem is it's cheaper and people in unlicensed situations does not actually mean that that's better or it's going to work out for you and then last but not least the absolute fers who are teaching these courses who are claiming that they can teach you how to do veneers that they can make sure you're doing it safely 2 days is not a long enough time to do it is still a red flag and again there are other examples of people who have had bad experiences with this I am going to show some clips of some victims from this I am not the type of person that gets on social media and rant and Rave about anybody but when you mess with me then that's a problem so I've been researching this dude right here Devin who works for VBS smes Atlanta and I wanted him to do my teeth I've seen people whose work that he's done I think he did an amazing job I wanted my teeth done by this man so I reached out to him on DM saying hey you know I'm going to be booking my appointment with you I think you do a good job so on and so forth very nice very cordial you know so on and so forth had no problems with the man so on February 15th I booked my appointment paid my deposit it was for a valentine special that he had where it was $2,000 total but I paid my deposit and everything let him dm'd him and said hey I just want to let you know I paid my deposit he was like okay great I'll see you next month everything was all good no issues here is the email that I got the day before my appointment again I flew from Dallas to Atlanta to get my teeth done by this man so I'm excited I'm pumped I'm like hey I'm g go back to Dallas a new female whoopy whoop very very excited so on the day of my appointment I show up early because I'm not familiar with Atlanta like that so I show up to make sure I am on time when I get there both of the doors to his suite is locked so I sit at a chair that's next to his suite and I'm sending him an Instagram message at the same time he's sending me a message too someone stole my whole EV machine out my room I'm going to have to refund you and pay you for your flight and I'm like hey I'm up here the door is locked do I need to knock on the door and this is us men at the same exact time okay and I'm like excuse me what do you mean your machine was stolen out out out of your room you can't do my teeth I flew all this way for my teeth to get done so at this point I am very upset y'all can pause to read so at this point I am just live it live it so he was like I'm going to compensate you for your flight and I'm like no sir you're going to compensate me for my flight in my hotel and my deposit that's what you're going to compensate me for sir so he said send me the receipt I did my total flight in room was like I want to say 869 he sent me 850 okay you know he cashed at me the 850 so I'm like okay what about my deposit that's $500 so he says I'm about to send at this point I said I'm crying I'm very upset because I'm thinking that you're about to do my teeth so I'm like you won't hear from me no more just go ahead and you know send me my money he goes on and say don't need my money and so on and so forth well then where is my deposit so he sends me this screenshot saying that the deposit is going to be sent back to my card I have yet to receive the deposit have not received anything since so I reach back out to him to be like hey do you know how long it's going to take for my deposit to come back on my car what's going on he blocks me never offered me an apology never said I'm sorry my bad you know I can reschedule you or nothing in fact some lady that was at his suite said that she worked with him before and and he was never on time or he would not show up she would end up end up having to take his clients and then she's told me that he only does mixed breeds and light-skinned women's teeth now I'm not dark or whatever but when I go on his page it all makes sense cuz there only one girl that's my skin color on that page so I'm like that's what we doing you only doing veneers foot to be aesthetic but not to you know make somebody's life or change somebody's life by doing some work very very unprofessional so this is the Instagram page that I reached out to um because he blocked me from the other page still haven't gotten any response I'm also following him on Tik Tok this is the Tik Tok page basically do not book with this man he's very unprofessional he doesn't offer any type of apology he was very rude to me even though I was very cordial I just wanted my money back he still did not give me my money back so like I said I'm not the type to get on here and Bash anybody but at this point I'm about to get legal counsel because you can't treat people any kind of way and then expect your business to keep on thriving that's not the way works not with me anyway so Devin at VVS Smile Dental just know that you are a scam artist you're very unprofessional and I don't like that at all you can say whatever it is that you want to say there's nothing else for you to say actually because you block me so yeah don't go to VVS smile dentals this woman wants to share her story about um going to a veneer Tech It's a Wonderful excellent story so I'm give her information y'all watch this video and go to her page and watch the full video this is just a couple minutes of it I just want to let you know that a little bit of the glue I don't know what kind of glue cuz again I'm not no veneer Tech I don't do teeth that's why I came to you if you come to me it's going to be by makeup but I don't know nothing about no teeth I know how I want them to look I know I don't want to look like no horse and all of that and I trusted you I don't know if you were screenshotting pictures or what you was doing but I trusted your work I trusted you knowing your expertise what is wrong with this lady I need you know you got my money you got long it's dark out tell meet me at Longhorn meet me at Longhorn before they close so she say she said tell him oh I'mma meet you at Longhorn but I got to hurry up with her so now she rushed and do my teeth so by this time it's like 9:30 930 started hurting my mouth is swoll it's hurting but I'm telling her she takes a picture I'm like they look all right but they still at that time I couldn't talk I said they look all right but I can't talk she said you got to adjust to them so I'm thinking okay she know what she doing by 12:00 not even 24 hours 12:00 Thursday morning I'm crying in tears because my mouth is swollen I can't talk I had to call out of work Thursday I call this lady I tell her listen I got to call out work I can't even talk my mouth is swollen these things got to come out my mouth she tells me she got a appoint me she going to try to see what she could do but can I come to the shop maybe at 10 at that point I'm like okay just meet me at the shop so I go to the I'm sitting at the shop waiting for her because at this point I haven't been able to sleep eat drink nothing all night take your pain medicine I go to the shop she tells me she don't have the tool to take these partials out my mouth when your text don't have so I am flipping out she tells me she she start drilling them she's drilling them drill them drill them and I'm pulling I'm aggressively pulling them mind you I don't got no pain medication you ain't num me up you don't got the proper tools to take them out of my mouth I am crying at one point she tells me you might need to go to the emergency room cuz I think I might pull your real teeth out with trying to take them out your mouth at this point I was upset I was like oh my God hanging out my mouth this lady telling me that she I'm going to have to go to the emergency room overall this is exceptionally awful and people are getting hurt there are people where their veneers are falling off their tooth gay is getting worse because they didn't go and then this is going to lead to you having to drop thousands of dollars way more than you originally would have all because people are doing things that they should not be so to wrap this up I am also wanting to kind of make my comments to people who have gone and if you are considering going first of all if you have gone to something like this if you didn't go to somebody who was licensed you're scared maybe they're not taking your phone calls anymore maybe there's a problem I really really recommend you to go to a little checkup at your dentist if you're able to I just to have them look you over because if there's actually something happening right now it's going to be cheap in the long run for you to double check and make sure you're okay just go check things out a little bit and then you can figure out what you can do after that now if everything's okay and your dentist is here to help you out you will be good to go just please just try and be proactive if you have the means to do so additionally if you were someone who is considering doing this please please do not okay do not whatsoever do whatever you can if you're if you're going to spend money spend money to make sure that your teeth are good to go and maintain and not everyone's teeth is going to be perfect I completely understand that some te teeth are people's insecurities but please if you're going to spend thousands of dollars on someone who's underqualified I would take longer to save up more and be able to look into somebody who has more affordable somebody who is licensed who is an actual dentist and knows what they're doing cuz this is extremely scary so what have we learned today kids there's a lot of people who will do scammy sketchy [ __ ] on the internet and we need to be extremely cautious about it not everyone who is selling a course should be selling a course actually most of them shouldn't be period there's a lot of people who are doing and running sketchy ass scams which is really sad because this goes to show to get dental work and things like that are extremely expensive but please be super careful and always do your own research as I encourage everyone to do last but certainly not least if I have a veneer Tech in my comment section saying well you're just jealous you're just my teeth don't look like piano keys also I'm all about talking to professionals so I'm not jealous okay I'm also not actively scamming and claiming a bunch of [ __ ] to strangers to make an income that was it for today's video thank you guys
