Exploring Large Abandoned Distiller's MANSION In 4K

[Music] abandoned for the past 30 years the William tar house in Bourbon County was built in the mid 1860s for a flower and grist mill owner named AJ hit William tar was a successful businessman who owned and operated a large bourbon distillery in Lexington bearing his name from the 1860s through the 1890s [Music] tarah purchase lissom in the late 1860's and added the rear l and Italianate design features [Music] unfortunately for tar his ambitious business sense steered him into bankruptcy in the late 1890s after a failed attempt at forming a railroad company after this William Tarr retired to his home where he would live until his death in 1911 [Music] and so now this is the part where I ask that you check out our Kentucky urbex Facebook page and don't forget to subscribe here on YouTube thanks for watching [Music] [Music] this was a player piano so you took the sheet in and it would go to Nick to do hit that oh wow yeah through the second-story mm-hmm [Music] you [Music] yep solid solves rot there's the staircase the circular one that we just saw that was collapsed and there's the collapse portion that we saw when we try to get in the back backward this room's a little best shape of all though yeah and this is even a bit the back portion that hasn't collapsed this was an addition I imagine yeah yet and that is the part that collapsed to the right of us I like the indoor shutters Wow just rounded corners this was quite a house this is a lot of house now this part is collapsed I don't even dare really step down on this hall area before you ask I am going check the medicine cabinet because it's empty trust us trust us we're not going to use it guys I think I want a shower I think we needed a shower after I was hoarse right people at a horse race I'm going [Applause] that's cool I like the green bricks [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music]
