Exploring and Eating in Hoboken, New Jersey. A Beautiful City next to NYC

[Music] that's a lot of dogs anyways i'm in a brand new city today hoboken new jersey it's not a very big one but it has a lot of history and it's as you can see right across from manhattan plans to do lots of exploring lots of eating and lots of photo taking all right food first by the way when i arrived here i took the path train very easy to get here but the train station is beautiful i explored that a bit before i came outside and oh it's stunning love train stations that was easily one of the most extravagant outdoor dining setups i've ever seen there are tvs at every table pretty awesome so speaking of dining hoboken is really famous for their italian deli so i'm heading to one of their most famous ones mmp biancano kimano i'm not really sure we're just going to call it m p i'm heading there right now by the way really liking the look of hoboken so far a lot of colorful old brick buildings a lot of restaurants so far hoboken is really nice inside the deli looked great it had an old school italian vibe and felt like a place from the sopranos i got the letter c superhero sandwich filled with ham capicola prosciutto pepperoni and mozzarella all right so learned a lot today today i learned that the next time i'm at mmps i should get a half sandwich because this is the full sandwich and this is even too much for me to eat but still this is 11.25 what a deal i mean i seriously don't even know how to bite into this it's so big i mean this sandwich just half of it is seriously as big as my head so there's pretty much half a deli's worth of cured meats on this sandwich along with lettuce tomatoes peppers but um the significant thing is the muts so what this deli is famous for what a lot of italian delis and hoboken are famous for and it's really good so soft so fresh wonderful so i just spent about 20 minutes eating the first day of this sandwich so i'm only half done this is so damn big all right that's all there's left i'm pretty sure i can finish that though but i do have other places i plan to eat at so i'm satisfied that sandwich was fantastic although next time i'm definitely getting a half a sandwich that's for sure plus since i don't have any time to floss right now i have so much meat between my teeth that when i do floss i can have a small meal later right now it's time to do some exploring so one of hope vulcan's greatest claims to fame is that it was home to the world's first baseball game and there was a little plaque here commemorating where the first game was played right over here [Music] well that was certainly a filling sandwich of course saved room for dessert going to the most famous bakery in hoboken carlos bakery made famous from the tlc show cake boss all right i just went to carlo's big shop i got coffee of course and i got a cookie chocolate chip very simple you know i'm not too hungry obviously along the beautiful hudson river riverfront here and i'm just gonna enjoy my coffee and food [Music] that's pretty good all right gonna do a little reading with my coffee break here book of the week in cold blood truman capote an iconic book of the 20th century really good i'm a bit over halfway through very disturbing but really good [Music] [Music] so i'm gonna walk along this uh riverfront now the views are just spectacular the clouds are really nice right now i'm gonna get some interesting photos and just see where this trail takes me [Music] just checked out the hoboken 911 memorial it's right behind me it's very beautiful it commemorates the 56 people from hoboken that passed away during the 911 attacks i think there's 56 shards of glass there it would make sense but either way very beautiful very nice tribute [Music] oh this is so good just on this riverfront taking pictures beautiful sunset this is perfect i love days like this exploring new things new sites new food and lots of food yeah i think i had a little too much food i do feel like i kind of have to throw up but i'm holding it in no regrets though [Music] the sun is setting just look at that color it is unreal back at the train station great day in hoboken it went too fast just like every day but you know what it's so close to manhattan i can come here whenever there's definitely a lot to love here that's for sure i'm also extremely full from all that food i hate today but it was some good food and i can't wait to get back and eat a hell of a lot more [Music] you
