Exploring an Incredible Abandoned Cathedral

just above our head stands one of the most stunning abandoned structures that we've ever seen a century and a half old cathedral standing over 200 feet tall we're currently venturing through this network of tunnels underneath it and search for way inside so this is like a 10 year old school almost they're all rusty types I don't see asbestos stuff yeah Wow there's almost like tunnel look at this not always follow these are rarely called and they're like yeah the tunnels keep with us with how old do you think this rock is down here what if this is like the tombs for the church and church events hands on earth Alan I've been through here ladder okay that's a tight squeeze yeah but we're gonna have to do it Wow there's a lot of bump in here Wow [Music] you [Music] [Music] holy crap I'm it's many years this building serves several different church congregations eventually though repairs from a structure became too costly to handle and ownership sell to the local government they founded the church was in danger of immediate structural collapse and conducted emergency repairs to shore up the building since then some art galleries have been hosted inside an attempt to raise funds for restoration but no other plans have been announced [Music] this is definitely the most beautiful abandoned building we've been inside of interior-wise do the colors from the stained glass [Music] [Music] [Music] for some reason all the stained glass on this side it's boarded up all the stained glass on the side is boarded up I don't know why they would do one side and not the other half [Music] see if you can get up there look at the details in this RG then there's a stairwell there's another stairwell here symmetrical no we can't go in this staircase look at the cobwebs in the window up there like a castle peasant they make staircases tight and curvy like this and castles to make them harder to invade I think I heard that somewhere these are all papers I music document these horses because the organ player builders they put all the music here all the pipes are right there Wow here blow into it I told you to work sounds like a what's it called the Australian instrument Rosella no excellent soccer games did you redo sub like a 15 boat coming into port easily cool this was the last song that was played inside this church probably our salon had just flipped the page at this level we were able to notice a lot more of the details worked into every single piece of the building we could have likely spent hours looking around and not noticed everything there was to see oh my gosh look how far back the organ goes you full of room it's electronic and there's a speaker up there I wonder if it's cheap maybe towards the end of its life instead of fixing it that you put an electronic one oh these valves are electronic for oh but there is a speaker there you got to go down to go up oh buckling it switch is not capable what that place how it'll paralyze you Brian try to blow into a pipe and it just glued us back in his face her hat we're going to try the other staircase now hopefully go somewhere out this probably goes up to the spire at all you really feel like you're in a castle on this Hill go to the workout there's no there's where the snow blew in from and I bet these works kill if you push a lever go yeah we don't want to make noise till we're getting out of here and I'm sure we just do it now no we're going in that zone we'll come back up here do it so softly hold it side or maybe knock is what if it's like a la my triggers thing like it gets past the point and then it rings it at full strength don't do that looks like you need a move it might ring it at full strength so let me go up top and look at it all you do that something like yeah I'm going to go look at the bells right now you do that way for me to get up there okay start moving on start moving one okay that's that bill move it a little more smoothing the Bell I wanted moving okay so basically the bells move on a perfect one-to-one ratio which how you move the pulley like this goes exactly without you move the lever eating like an inch you got it too like there what I wouldn't make any noise it just sound like that you have to pull the lever actually fast if you want to really really yeah I was thinking maybe there was some sort of like mechanism that would hold back the force and then release it all at once so that's why I was nervous it was going to make a loud Gong all right let's go up oh there's another huge Delhi oh which lever do you think that language okay yeah I don't think this spell works still there's nothing it's not attached hanging all the way yeah no look this Bell is ran from this thing down here oh I'm sure it still works oh there's people coming inside right now no there's not yes there is 15 will counter you know there's girls coming in oh we should ring the bell now provider Street down there where's your little slider it's kind of hidden oh do they get in no not yet okay I'm going to go up to the top have a call no they haven't helped offense yet they were almost topping it they like chickened out halfway are they really thank you okay this is full of bird see bird tracks there this is the spire with the possibility of other people entering the church we had to head back down and check on some of our camera gear that we left behind that's happened before to other people are stolen but firstly for your exploring you with star stuff somewhere else to think anyone's going to come in and we got back to it and it was gone so I really hope stuff is still down there yep still there good let's explore these rooms back here in the corner is one back but there is a statue here that they took out just storage more art upstairs let's see this floor first before we go out there and just storage well this turnings like an art museum or something that's a big ladder oh there's like pieces of statues this is definitely harder there's at one point the price of the Turtles I want to go up and aspire because I don't know if I trust the slider wait maybe they weren't tears on this side here I thought the store was maybe stairs one of there are stairs right here this one's darkest to here just another organ yeah I don't even go there's not a lot for up on your space through there there's a ladder back here yeah are we gonna have to inch going on all right I'll just listen at the flattered but I don't want to go up that anyway because the rama's are so far apart and so old what's really sketchy we have to ring the bells in 15 minutes 14 now so it's not suspicious the others off on the our people want suspect any yeah it's normal church office there's we go to ring the bell so what note are we doing tell thanks it it's not really worth let me go up there and look at what's going on diagnosed with all I'll be allowed to happen say on actually works all right pull one Oh [Music]
