Expect the Favor of God

body.this the believers wants a picture broadcast and I'm sure glad you came today because I'm gonna tell you what this this very well could be the biggest day of your entire life for because of what the Lord has instructed brother Jerry Savelle and and me to share with you from his word today father we thank you and we praise you for the word of the Living God that opens our eyes opens our minds open our hearts for revelation from heaven and we thank you for it in Jesus name Amen he thank you lord chariot we're talking about favor and grace the favor of the Lord becoming favor minded I expect to be favored I expect to be blessed right and when you come out of the world's way of thinking if they don't expect it at all and particularly religious concept of God it's not a blessing concept it's a law concept and you can't mix the law and grace and make it work it does not work right Jesus delivered us from the curse of the law now let's look in the book of Hebrews in chapter 10 verse 1 for the law having a shadow of good things to come and not the very image of the things can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect or mature in God for then would they not have ceased to be offered yep because the worshipers wants to purr should have had no more conscience of sin no more sin consciousness no more failure consciousness no more broke sick I'm this I'm damned velu danfa don't I mean it didn't know it you're not talking about curse all the time the gospel of Jesus Christ is spoken in one verse of scripture in Galatians chapter 3 verse 8 that says the scripture foreseeing that God would make righteous the heathen by faith preached the gospel to Abraham saying in you shall all nations be blessed the blessing is and the gospel is there's no more curse mmm because only only 5 verses down 13th first he talks about Christ made a curse for us for it is written cursed is everyone hanging on a tree that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ well that's me yeah and you and all the rest of us right now that's the gospel Healing is in the blessing salvation is in the blessing baptism the Holy Ghost is part of the blessing you know all that Jesus did is in the blessing of the Lord right now then sin consciousness always aware of failure always aware of falling short you passed in you and the way that way of thinking mm-hmm well you just never know what God's gonna do and I you know I mean who could just absolutely know his will and because I'm just an old sinner same book grace that'll get you killed you are not an old sinner saved by grace right you were an old sinner you got saved by grace and favor of the Lord you are no longer an old sinner you are a joint heir with Christ Jesus blessed and highly favored hallelujah now let's go back over here to the book bag because I want you to just at man I want you jump right in the middle hey men here in chapter 22 acts 22 this is the Apostle Paul speaking back in the early days of his calling and ministry and so forth he said it came to pass 17 first came to pass when I was come again to Jerusalem even while I prayed in the temple I was in a trance what does that mean that means that his physical senses and so forth were momentarily suspended and he saw in the spirit I saw him Jesus saying unto me make haste get thee quickly out of Jerusalem for they will not receive your testimony concerning me now the Apostle Paul still had a sin consciousness is still bothering him and notice what he said I said Lord they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee when the blood of your martyr Stephen was shed I also was standing by and consenting unto his death and kept the raiment of them that slew him now I want you to notice Jesus response to this he never mentioned it he didn't even hear it jesus said unto me depart for I will send you far hence under the Gentiles yeah he literally confessed a murder he confessed to all that persecution right in front of Jesus mm-hmm and the Lord did him here and pay attention to it yeah that has no serious hold or whatever yeah come on you know and that this this God has wiped the sin out it's been blotted out he said I even I am he who will blot out your transgressions from my own and I will remember them no more he said for his sake yeah now I know it's for my sake right but he did it for your sake mm-hmm he wiped his memory huh he won't remember anything ugly about you and me no huh and Paul got it obviously and when he wrote to Timothy he said I was the chiefest center of them all but I received abundant grass abundant grace man yeah oh yeah under grace and then later he writes and says to a group of people received me I have wronged no man yeah right yeah I was corrupted no man I was just turning to that scripture when yeah when you quote it 2nd Corinthians chapter 7 hmm now he said in 5:17 therefore if any man any man be in Christ Jesus he is a new creation old things are passed away they're gone yes behold all things are become new and all things are of God who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ and has given us the Ministry of reconciliation to know that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself not holding against them their trespasses and has committed unto us the word of that reconciliation God ain't got a thing against you right now come receive the free gift of righteousness the free gift of salvation the free gift all of it is a free gift yeah the grace the blessing the favor then he comes over here and said having therefore dearly beloved these promises what your new creation yeah God ain't holding anything against anybody on earth somebody that yeah you go to hell for line that seems your willful stealing you won't go to hell for line or stealing either one mm-hmm those sins have been wiped out you go to hell for not receiving Jesus as your Lord and Savior that's right and receiving the gift of righteousness that puts you in and connects you to at that moment the very spirit of the Living God but I'm preached myself happy now having these these promises dearly beloved let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit perfecting holiness in the fear of God receive us we've wronged no man we've corrupted no man we've devoted no man Oh first time I saw that mmm I mean you know I I was a student at old Roberts University and I'm just just I mean I just barely got my feet wet you know learning about Who I am in Christ Jesus because I let sin consciousness rob me for five years and getting any will of God mmm and I I said I caught this man in the life look that says he's wrong on that I know right over here he's beat and and kill people and all that right there he said he did and I'm telling you the word of the Lord came to me like knocked me out of my chair and he said you ought to you call a liar the men you're talking about died on the road to Damascus I just fell out in the floor you were talking about last week you had the same experience the very same thing that same thing happen to you he found that he said what is this what a statement in the Word of God what a picture of the new birth he went from the sin consciousness to a righteousness consciousness in grace yeah it was it was that revelation is there a righteousness consciousness it's that right standing with God knowing no matter what your past is like no matter what you've done no matter how ugly were no matter what kind of sin you committed that you are now the righteousness of God which means having right standing with God and now you are qualified to be a recipie everything heaven has to offer Jerry my daughter Terry was preaching a message in a Sunday morning service today and I see a few weeks ago talking about the righteousness of God we know that it excuse me it is the god-given grace cleansing of the blood of Jesus new creature new creation all things become new and you now have my grace come boldly to the throne of grace come sit with me to be in the presence of the most holy in the most holy place without any sense of guilt and condemnation or same comes just right but then she said this she said righteousness is God being right he's not ever wrong there's no wrong in him she said when you do things his way do it right they work mmm well I need it they thought about a car engine airplane engine motorcycle engine right I immediately thought this thing ain't running right mm what is something wrong with it what what's wrong with it I don't know yet so what am I have to do I'm gonna have to go back to the manufacturers I need to go back to the maintenance manual that was written by the people that that built that piece of machinery and built that engine because they kept with it and stayed with it till they got it where it would run right and now it's running wrong wrong is rough wrong is not wrong is you don't want yeah wrong is bad and but right is smooth right is power right and God is always smooth he's always power he's always right he is absolutely right she reminded me arch in that message she reminded me of the fact that God is absolute good he is absolute right he is absolute blessing he is absolutely love no they're not there are no bad any hmm and she reminded us that that absolute cold is over 400 degrees below zero and you can get in 30 below and feel like ain't no heat in this oh yeah there's three still 370 degrees of heat in that you don't know absolute cold you don't want to know absolute cold is it similar to Cold Bay Alaska [Laughter] oh my J and brother Jesse had a meeting in cold Bay a good meeting and she's reminding us that he is absolute love he has absolute grace he is absolute good he is absolute favorable and right yeah but he's made us his righteousness and if we'll get in him if we'll get into this book and become God inside minded become grace mind and become righteousness minded whoa it works right yeah your attitude becomes why wouldn't he do this yeah right standing with him yeah you know he's not holding anything against me just why in the book of James where it says and the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much that man that knows he has right standing with God he doesn't have this sin consciousness has a righteousness consciousness his attitude is whatever I asked the Father he do it yes sir he didn't walk away saying well that's a waste of time my prayer didn't get any hiring the ceiling he walks away the attitude Amen so bad it is done it didn't need to get any higher than this that's right he's in here yeah god righteousness inside - yeah grace blessing inside minded amen and that righteousness Commons puts you in a position to where you you think blessing you think favorite you think victory failure and defeat are not in your thoughts anymore you know when I first started this men those thoughts like that come up you know you're gonna fail you're gonna fail particularly when you know I wouldn't when I throw my own after having worked in your ministry as as an employee and start out there and my own and and you know yeah once Wilde come up against the wall of the Lord and and the devil say yeah you're gonna fail just like in that business you had back there you got so far oh yeah you know oh and then I'd have to fight that stuff off me and I'll never forget one day the Lord said to me every time he brings up your failure bring up his oh yeah and he said you talk about a failure he thought he had one when Jesus was hanging on that cross he did Satan thought he'd won she did you know scriptures but the Bible says had the princes of this world known they wouldn't have crucified the Lord of glory they wouldn't have done three days later he left Jesus alone and then he said this and when you when you get through talking about his failure bring up his future it need to brighten oh and when he says you better watch out you're gonna die can I help ya I'm gonna die you ain't gonna die we're gonna die yeah because Jesus has given us victory over death praise God amen yeah Paul said to die is gain Oh amen to be with Christ far better yeah and and think of it think about this the scripture says in the book of Hebrews Jesus tasted death for every man so if you accept him as your Lord and Savior you will never taste death now he used the word taste to describe the physical human senses of the of the physical body I won't taste it I won't feel it I won't even know it this thing of it's gone it's gone mmm and so what this body goes away you won't even know it the Apostle Paul said I knew a man in the heaven in the body out of the body I couldn't tell I have talked to friends of particular one friend of mine brother Bob to wish that I'm that was my boss when I was at with Oral Roberts evangelistic association and he he was on the handball coat and just fell dead on that handball court he was my age that I am now that he was that age then and he just fell dead he didn't know it he took a step on that handball court the next thing he knew he was in heaven looking around what is this and he was he was out in the country there are little ways and and it was he said he says most gorgeous place I saw him a lot but he said Kenneth I gotta tell you this he said you can't imagine the kind of life and strength is running through my legs running through my arms and he he'd been an athlete all of his life he's running he said it's just surgeon with strength and power he did he didn't he didn't think where's my body Oh am i dead uh-huh no no life yeah and then he saw the heavenly City he said oh I'm home he said I started running he said I'm picking them up and I'm laying them down he said had such strength and energy and myself see he still he felt like he still had his body mm-hmm but his body never knew he died yeah it just quit hmm now if you don't know Jesus the fear of death will cause you to fight it and because deaths nimmy last enemy put on her feet but Jesus tasted death for every man and well I have to go ahead and finish the story he said I heard my wife calling my calling my name and calling the name of Jesus calling that name and he said he started slowing me down and he said it did put a pull on my back and he said suddenly I looked up in her face and I looked up in the doctors face and I'm in the emergency room at City thing and he said she's run over me like this when he's telling me this and Charlotte was standing there next to him she said Kenneth you know what first words out of his mouth he didn't say Oh darlin thank you thank you oh thank you doctor for saving my life he said the first she said the first thing out of his mouth was Charlotte why did you do that what did you do that for she think nobody wants to come back yeah oh man Lou you amen brother Aurel told me one time he said they're telling me I need to disc wit and sit down these are my last days and they're not take anymore wrists he said tell Oral Roberts not to take any risk anymore they say why you're liable to die he said who cares if the other side of that is stunning yeah now it is in his last hours his last moments he was this brother out of it and all of a sudden he starts singing the old tenth crusade hymns and the killer kids are around the bed and he's shouting and praising well at the top of his voice and the kids said you could hear him all over the halls of that Hospital and and finally he just ate it said hallelujah and did this he never knew he died yeah didn't care let no sting to it no sir hallelujah the sting of sin has been white man we don't have to have a sin
