Expat's Worst Fear/Juells/And my thoughts about End of Life

just so I'm two minutes early we'll start this over I'm two minutes early on the live stream I come in and uh Janet's not going to join us for the for the live stream the the topic she's here but the topic is a little bit too sensitive uh for me to put Janet I don't let her be in some of my videos or just different things that have different topics that are too sensitive um let's see who's in the house and then we'll get started you can see in my initial comment in the beginning um juul sent me a message last night uh tomorrow I go back I'll share that with you tomorrow I go back to silon hospital which is this morning uh they're putting a permanent ca ca uh for fluid buildup in his abdomen so no more pool or ocean swimming you know he like he like to swim he's an outdoor guy he's a ruggedy Guy and um in the description below for all those who haven't seen the story of jws um is a link to a video that Paul did with Jules it's the interview with Jules and he explains what's going on Jules uh has has cancer and you know the pro he went up to St Luke's hospital and uh they gave him 6 to 12 months to live and if you watch that video that Paul did with he explains everything um and you can tell how he looks when I met juel it was just a little bit over year ago I met youel and he was a vibrant young man full of himself you know he was uh um funny and talkative and active you know he didn't just sit down at the car he was always doing something and a family man you know he has a wife and three kids uh Richie and uh is his wife and he built a house up on the mountain and you know came here below the Social Security age came here you know for many years he's been coming back and forth um I don't know the complete story of jwes and his uh life in the US and his life here in the Philippines I just know Jules when I met him what a nice guy he was and then the problems he started to have and a year I think it was about a year ago he had that GBS was a jeweles bar syndrome and that sort of paralyzed him and we had a big scare about that uh but he overcame that the struggles of that you know he fought through that he fought through it with his family uh he has three children and uh you know then he got in a motorcycle accident it was a hidden run somebody hit him and that was another setback during the course of the year the guy has just had nothing but bad luck you know this is a case of where whatever could go wrong does go wrong and uh now he he has liver cancer he went up to St Luke's because um at first he wanted to go to Thailand to get it checked out but the cost going to Thailand uh his visa when you're on a 13A and it's not a permanent Visa yet you can't leave the country you got to stay here while they do do all the work and you didn't want to lose all that time money and energy he put in to get his U his Visa his permanent Visa here so they didn't go but they decided to go to St Luke's and uh St Luke's is a great hospital it's it's one of the best hospitals uh in the world but it costs like an American Hospital it it is not inexpensive like Ace Hospital might be or camon or some public Philippine Hospital uh they charge almost us prices for for what gets done there and Jules um that's the story and now he's in and he's going to get the cath um you know get this procedure done and he's probably going to have the the colostomy bag forever I don't I don't know my dad did my dad had liver cancer and it was um he would have his good days and he have his bad days but there was a lot of inconvenience a lot of visits to the doctor a lot of visits to the hospital um and uh but he had an American Hospital that he would go to he had good insurance you know he had all the the pluses but still the toll on him the family his life the people around him it takes takes a big big um effect on the people and with Jules his family is still young you know the kids uh I don't know their exact age I believe his daughter's 17 his is uh one of his sons is uh working with Critter Hunter Elvis um and he's planning on going into the Navy or wants to at some point U these are good kids this is a good family and the main concern that I get from Jules is how's he gonna take care of his family while he's gone he's not really thinking about himself he's he's really thinking deep about his family and he has a strong has a strong faith you know uh the first time I met him it was like a small meet greet it was a private meet and greet with some uh YouTubers that came from the US over here and uh everybody drinking and eating and enjoying themselves but at the beginning of the meal he was the one that said we need to say grace you know he his faith was very very strong even though he has a funny side a humorous side he has he has a great uh belief in God and he also a belief in his family he really loves his kids that's that's one thing can never take away from Jules is the love he has for his family we don't see him around and about town especially this last year with all his troubles but even before that he was not one of these guys that was you know hanging out at Ground Zero you know six days out of the week or hanging out at a bar or something he was driven to accomplish something he had goals that he wanted to accomplish in life and now uh isn't able to finish those goals and his concern is with his family and I'm coming on here to ask for help again now all everybody that has seen Paul's video and uh sent help prayers messages to Jules uh I thank you in the description below I've put a link to juules uh YouTube channel to his email and also to his PayPal if anybody would is to help him out but he has a PayPal uh he has a YouTube channel that's monetized so if you can just go and watch his videos as a start watch his videos uh watch the commercials I know there's so many commercials and some these uh uh videos that YouTube puts out or we put out and YouTube puts the uh commercials on give him a hand you know it's the same thing we did with Monte go watch his videos help him uh earned some money through his work through his videos and you can also see his life his life Journey uh start at the first one and go through there and see see what a vibrant man this was and a strong man and how quickly I tell all you guys how quickly that bowling ball goes off the table you're in great health you're in great health and then boom your health is gone and you're going downhill fast and that's the case here he's he's had some bad with the health and he's had um you know the ultimate now uh having the cancer in the liver uh it's spread to his lungs he was talking on this video with Paul about how he spit up some blood the other day and the cost he occurs you know to going to St Luke's um to going and getting his uh Fentanyl patches for pain pain management now is going to be the big issue with him and those Fentanyl patches are like $50 $60 each and um the cost is just going to increase as as time goes by and he still has a family that take care of and he doesn't want to leave them uh destitute you know he's going to scratch and Claw and try to do the best he can for his family for the time that he has left and you know through the grace of God he'll be able to accomplish everything that he's sat down now and plans to do for his family and helps his family he explains it so much much better than I ever can please watch that video share that video on your Facebook so more and more people watch that and it's a learning lesson guys I want I want to give you a lesson on learning here when you come to the Philippines we take my glass when you come here to the Philippines you're healthy you know you're healthy wealthy and wise world you know you got the world you know by the tail and and you can do anything all of a sudden got a new breath of of life you're young man again you're invigorated you know you're in a new country a new start uh maybe you're going to build a home maybe you're just going to just live your life and travel whatever you're going to do uh but towards the end the medical everybody Al always says Mike what's the best insurance what's the best way to handle medical go to Thailand you know people say I'll fly to Thailand or I'll fly to Guam and get my medicare well when you get too sick you can't get on an airplane you can't travel like that anymore and you're going to have to deal with the medical facilities that are available to you that you can get to so really think hard about your medical situation and you have to come here knowing if you're like my age and you're selling everything and you're coming here you're coming here to the end of your life you you know and me and a few other people that I've talked to I'm sure Paul is in the same boat and Monte's in the same boat we have somebody that we have reached out to and taken under our wings you know my wife their wives uh their children uh we've put them under our wing and we're taking care of them the best we can and when we're gone we hope to leave them something and a medical procedure an incident you know heart attack a step in your you know for for your heart some sort of cancer even if you catch it early all these are costly all these are costly and you have to make the decision how much treatment you're going to do what are you going to call it that's enough and uh you know be grateful you don't have teenage kids and and all these people who are depending on you at a younger age these men who go in their 40s and 50s and jules's 60 uh they're going way too young they haven't accomplished everything they want in life when you get to be 70 80 years old you pretty much accomplished what you're going to do and you just want to leave your family as well off as you possibly can and that's a personal choice on how you deal with your health care if you're going to finance it with cash if you're going to get some sort of insurance if you're going to have Phill Health whatever you're the one who has to sit at home and decide how you going to handle this look for the worst case scenario how you going to handle it you know me when I sit there and do a bunch of chemotherapy things to to extend my life another month or two I don't think so not at the the risk of my family's uh Financial wellbeing but these are things you have to decide as a person and it's it's just heartbreaking when I see good people and Jules is a good person have all these problems that they didn't cause it's not like you know he's a a drunk that's walking around drinking you know um a bottle of Scotch a day and and then he has liver problem no this is a healthy Young young Active Family Man and something happened Beyond his control and um some people call it God's will um but it's a shame that the good ones you know they old saying the good ones Die Young and Jules needs our support and I do want you to give him your prayers because he is a man of Faith but I also want you to click on the links down below I want you to click on his uh YouTube I want you to send him an email of support don't give him advice don't give him advice he has been through the ringer of advice but give them support give them your prayers and if you can if you're able to financially help them send them something to help him off Jan and I have put 10,000 in an envelope here and we're going to go see him in the hospital if we can if not we'll just drop it off to his wife but I'm hoping that the community that the community I have the people who watch my channel and enjoy me and Janet when when I do a call for help they really need the help and it's a good person that we're helping we don't just go out and help anybody there's you know we don't go down and find a guy who's been drinking for six days in a row falls down and breaks his arm now we ain't going to help that guy but we're going to help the family guy the guy who's trying to take good care of his family and helps others when he was healthy and able to and that's what we reach out and do it's a limited amount of people who I would ask for their your help to help them and jwes is one of them Jules and I are not the close friends we're not close friends um he has his life I have my life and we really don't cross too often every now and then we run into each other at events and since he's been sick we haven't you know I see Elvis far more than I see Jules but when I have met Jules and when we have spent time together he is a pleasure and I know he's a good man and he's one of these people that deserve your help and um so many people would have said they're his friend on YouTube maybe they did an interview with him or something I'm hoping they reach out and are true friends and help him also and um I hope the community and dum MTI rallies around and helps him also behind the scenes we don't need to publicize what everybody's going to do here but be behind the scenes I know many people are doing many things and you know Critter Hunter is one of these guys who does things behind the scenes and I I believe two of juul's kids uh work uh at the dive shop with uh Justin but again I'm just I'm just asking you for the help watch the video with Paul and judge for yourself and judge for yourself on that matter let me talk let me check some of these comments we got here uh Charles good morning Charles starting to think he's better off in the States but I'm sure he ain't insured there either the flight alone would be too much for him with a hard wrenching scenario it is a it is and you're correct on that um for him to fly he could barely take the car ride from um the ace Hospital home and that the plane ride up to Manila was was terrible for him and I couldn't see him making that flight you know it's I don't think that's in the carts for him to fly all the way to the US and he talks about this uh situation where you go back and if if you sold everything you have nothing when you go back and you're going to go somewhere and you're going to have to rent a room nobody wants a sick guy Renning a room so he's going to have to either stay in a lowbudget motel one of these places that rent by the week or month or he's going to have to rent a a cheap apartment still going to have to put some pieces of furniture in there still going to have to have transportation to the hospital the care in the hospital and um again he's at that he's guilty of being as Paul said too young at 60 you're too young for Social Security uh you're too young for Medicare um and people are going to say oh he can get disability and all that yeah by the time the paperwork gets through and all this uh but I don't I don't think that's really in the cards there's sometimes you can't do things like that and even traveling to Thailand I I don't think he can make it to Thailand definitely couldn't make it to Guam Mikey we're all here good morning to you you don't know ju's story I I put a link to his uh YouTube channel there you can follow his journey in the Philipines the guy had many plans and goals and and uh he accomplished some of them and U this this is taking a financial toll on him over the year the the Jill bar syndrome the GBS took a lot out of him you know he was paralyzed and he could barely walk and and uh took a lot of his finances and they thought once they got over that they were home free and then he got in that hit and run where somebody hit him uh while he was riding his motorcycle and there was another big medical expense and now now he has the cancer issues so uh it's very very hard uh for me to see how he's going to get through this uh without our help and he need he needs our help he needs a great hey Charles how you doing you're by yourself out of nowhere land uh what you give comes around and I do these things for a few people but my hopes are you know 5 10 15 years from now when when I'm in a situation that I need help um that we can count on our friends in the community on the YouTube wherever to to help Janet out and uh that's my one my one wish is the community stays strong um I stay positive with the my viewers the people who watch me all the time so in the future you like a small insurance policy and every once in a while somebody needs help and um I don't come on here every week asking for help for something and I don't come on here asking for a donation for a bag of rice or or anything uh I'm very very selective and um you have to earn uh my trust in you for me to reach out and help you and I'm not talking about just handing you know giving a financial donation to somebody I'm talking about going on um and like this a live stream and trying to help that person and uh my community has always helped greatly and I know a lot of you guys overlap with Paul's Paul had a good response to um the initial video which was three or four days ago and if you if you've seen it and you've helped and you've reached out to Jules thank you so much if you haven't seen it yet go watch it it it's 30 minutes of Tears 30 minutes of Tears the first time I I had to turn it off and couldn't watch it so I watched it again this morning uh hello all from 727 all right how you doing I didn't realize St Luke's prices were that high yes St Luke's is a world class Hospital world class hospital and um it's way different than uh going to silon which is a good hospital but you're talking about a serious serious problem a serious problem and uh you need to go uh I think there's another one in in Sabu that's high class but not as good as a rating as St Luke's St St Luke's is very expensive you know the flying up there getting a room transport you got to stay in a a hotel that's close to to the hospital you you know you can't be out you know five six miles away and taking a a c through traffic when you're when you're ill like this and you see jewels in the video how thin he is and this is not the I met just a little bit over a year ago who was a strong vibrant man he had that um Mah is his name Magic Mike you know he had that Persona about him he did the a little takeoff on him on the beginning of his videos and uh he was a fun guy and he was an interesting man and he was hardworking but he was proud of his family that's something you can't take away from he was very proud of his family quite a life change yes it is it is and he's been having these TR troubles for the last year you know for the last year and we sort of give him a space you know I believe in privacy I I really do I'm not going to uh run up and you know bother the kids other than when I see him just say how's your dad doing you know I'm I'm more interested in giving people their privacy their space and Paul Paul is much closer to jewes than I am they talk constantly uh he's been on Paul's channel before and uh I I believe they're neighbors and and in in one aspect but uh Paul has relayed me the information I spoke to Jules on messenger and my reply to uh Jules on the messenger was I just couldn't find I can't find the words to express how Janet and I feel you our prayers are with you but I just I you know what can you say and I don't want to be in that line of people going up to this house and dropping off a dollar or two and bringing up how you feeling well we know how he feels we know how he feels so I'm hoping we we do something here in the community I'll get together one guy collects all the all the cash and takes it to Jules or we run it to we we message his wife and run into his wife but to spend you know one person after another going up to the house would be hard for me it it would be hard for me because I'm looking at the big picture when I'm when I'm talking to him I'm looking at a strong man who's who's deteriorating and I know a year from now I won't be able to talk to him medical is the big issue it's the biggest thing out here you know we all handle our medical problems differently you know I self-insure I have Phil Phil health I don't know how it worked if juwels hat or anything when I went to the hospital to sign up for my physical I asked them do you take Phil Health they go it's only used when you admitt it to the hospital comes off your hospital bill 20 to 25% off your hospital stay it really doesn't come off you know medicine and all these other things it's just a discount card is the best way to look at it you have a discount card ask for buying regular health insurance you know when you're healthy you say man that's a waste the two or three th000 uh dollars a year paying the premiums until you really need it so as an individual that's a decision for you to make I can't give you any advice on what to do medical insurance-wise what kind of insurance to have to keep your Medicare part A and B Keep Your Part B that's one that you have to pay for a is for a hospital in the in a American Hospital us Hospital B is for the doctors do you want that $170 in your pocket every month or you want to pay that and you have to look at it too there might be a case where you're so sick you can't fly you know if you have a heart attack you're not going to get on a plane and go to San Francisco to get it taken care of you're going to go to the nearest hospital here in the Philippines so you have to be prepared and as Jules said in the video with Paul how quickly the money went away you think you have money and this was this first one the the GBS where it it just took so much in medication and doctor's visits and hospital visits you know just Nickel Dime Nickel Dime next thing you know you're down to the bottom of your savings and then you have a secondary problem and then you have this major third problem you know he's had to sell off some property that him and his wife bought a long time ago and to help pay and offset these bills but they're going through that money left and right left and right it's very expensive uh if you go up to St Luke's and even if you go to Thailand it's expensive you have to exchange your money from the Philippine money to the ti bot you're going to lose some money in the exchange rates or into do US Dollars you're going to lose some money in the exchange rate you're going to have to fly there you're gonna have to stay in accommodations yeah it's not as expensive as LA or San Francisco but it's not free and then you still have hospital bills it might be cheaper than here um or maybe not depending on the service that that is required the testing and the procedures you do it all costs everything costs money the world is in a position where everything costs money and you know uh here in the Philippines if you don't pay your way you don't get any you don't get nothing you know there's no social service here there's no safety net for you when you come here you have to pay your way or I asked the lady at admissions at silon let me bring this one up I go I want to ask you a question if I get wheeled in into emergency room and I can't pay will they look at me she goes yes they'll look at you I go will they admit me it depends so what does it depend on so it both ways I can see people being turned away I can see people being sent to a public hospital and I can see people being taken care of and I think the first step is if you have the fill Health the hospital knows they're going to get some money from you and so that's a starting point but uh it's it's just something you have to decide and you have to do the research if you're if you can do enough research to find a YouTuber to watch on a topic that you're interested in you can do real Research into healthc care you can with AI you can go on one of these AI things chat uh GPT and punch in there what's the best health care for an expat living abroad go ask your insurance agent while you're in the States you have an agent right guy sells you car insurance maybe homeowners insurance go talk to them and say hey John I'm thinking of moving to the Philippines for a year do you know anybody that sells uh or handles health insurance out of the country and I'm sure they'll have a name of somebody that you can contact and ask some questions and start doing your homework your insurance agent is probably the number one place to start and what I worry about policies here when you go to buy them and this is nothing against Pacific Cross or any of these other policies but they all have this pre-existing condition so you have a heart attack you go to the hospital and and then they say oh you know you had hypertension uh so that's pre-existing and that cost that caused your heart attack so you're not covered is that a possibility I don't know but it's something to think about something to think about don't come here with no money especially for your health care you got to have something tucked away and be putting away a little bit of money every month uh Janet and I put this month was $284 uh us into our savings account which already had a lot of money in it so we're just building on it so now this month we're going to have to tap into it for our physicals and a few other things you know I have I have this mole on my lower eyelid I have to get all this stuff taken looked at and taken care of and all this is going to cost money maybe not a lot of money but you need money and if you're over here on that quote $800 a month budget man I hope you never get sick if you're sick uh they won't allow you to fly yes in many many cases the you know if you're in a wheelchair or look sick you know you're they're not going to let you fly they're not going to let you fly uh Scott and the world as we see it hey Mike how you doing Philippine expat pepper if you're older and have medical issues issues you should be planning on this outcome it's you know it's a hard thing to sit there and think about it's not an easy thing to think about you know it's something I think about when when I'm you know laying in bed late at night and my back hurts and you know I'm having trouble with ball movements but it's not something you think about when you're traveling up to Sabu and and you're having a good time and you're eating at a nice restaurant or you're hanging out with some pretty girls you don't think about that stuff but it's something you have to think about hey Mike from Queens it seems with every situation aired on YouTube there's a response one blog big shot yeah he's a real and I'm going to say this straight out straight out big shot travels um Ricky whatever his last name is uh I know he watches all my stuff um I hope none of you guys ever watch any of his videos um he is uh the scum of the earth guy living his five star lifestyle yeah right scumbag scumbag with how he talks about people and their families without knowing the people it's one thing to talk about me he's made two comments about me and the two comments was the first time he said something was um I'm a predator hooking up with a young girl well that's jaming six months later he makes a little video and says Mike is that the best you can do an old grandma and again it's Janet he's just looking for somebody to talk about him and that's what I'm doing now I'm feeding I'm throwing fire uh throwing fuel on the fire here but he made made a terrible comment about jwes his video about jwes was terrible I I hope all you guys will go over there and see that video it's either in sick grandpa or uh um Big Shot travels and report it and click on the report button and report it guy's talking on his ass he doesn't know he's talking about I hear you Mike I am yes let's see here Jules said he had hepatitis C that's dangerous yeah he he has lots of thing high risk he is he does have liver cancer so that's the bad that's the bad point w he does have signal no signal mic did I hear correctly that he had hepatis C from many I don't that I don't know can I remind everyone how important health insurance is uh YouTubers always saying how deep Healthcare is uh but it's not if needed you're right you're right you're right this is oh hey jwes I'm vertical I thank God I got my family with me thank God for my friends family uh family safe and I have my peace yes well that's good to know Jules um guys send them an email with your prayers tell them give them support in many ways many ways going to uh be able to handle all the business she has to handle it now she her and the kids have to step up Jules has been the the husband the Father the dominant uh provider of the family and now um he has to go underneath the wing of the family and the family has to take care of him Mike like you said you have to watch the exchange rate the exchange rate is huge guys it's huge uh how many people you know with Pacific roster I know two people who have it that love it but they don't use it and I know one person who used it and can't stand it so it they've changed a little bit of their policy over the last year I tried to get that Michael onstot on and we had a technical glinch and I'll try again next week with him and um if I can fix that we'll do a live stream together and you guys can ask all your questions Mike I think you should consider getting back on Medicare yeah Paul says that uh it's a no-brainer I don't want any those done here yeah I don't know I don't know that's a personal choice there I have a lots lots to decide in doing that you know I I pretty much come to the conclusion you know I'm 70 years old I'm healthy but lately I haven't been that healthy I hope uh next month or two months I'm not the one people are talking about and I I have to re-evaluate I have to re-evaluate and the where you can reapply for Medicare is in uh I believe in it's September through December or October October November where you can renew your uh Medicare and after I get these tests back um I'll be able to re-evaluate my medical condition and decide what I'm going to do you have to you know contact your insurance company and find out if they're going to help you out with that um what they cover what they will not cover all these things are uh very important and you have to find the answers to yourself these questions should be asked to your insurance agent and the company you're buying insurance from not some YouTuber you know 8,000 miles away who doesn't use travel insurance so uh I don't want to blow smoke up someone's butt and give you false information but you on health insurance and health care all these are personal decisions you have to make these decisions just like Jules is making his decisions now it's up to you to make these decisions financially uh ethically and with your family's consideration for the first year I'll be flying back before 180 days keep my healthc care and can of act yeah you Canadians are a little different you got to go back once every six months uh to keep your health insurance your wife had cancer two years ago Barry uh she was 5 foot tall not fat but lost 50 pounds they gave her two two to six months she lasted 13 she's the best wife ever yeah I'm sorry to hear that yeah I'm sure she was to you she was the best best wife any man could have thanks Jimmy D um for the PayPal info yes it's down below in the description guys me and my Filipino wife here in the US watch the Paul jwes video my wife got upset of course it's it's it was heartbreaking I the first time I couldn't watch it I subscribe to his Channel with likes uh with likes and once I saw Yes Yes watch his channel let's pick some brains how would you plan for the unknown uh money money money can buy you better health care in the hospital and um just terrible last week I saw a detailed blog on different medical insurance all right uh these are just blogs you still need to do your research get the actual policy in hand and read it read about um conditions uh some policies you have to pay for now and you can't use it for a year um you know you have to be other than some minor minor issues but major they won't cover until that first year is up so you have two years of premiums before you can use it and that five or $6,000 uh could pay for a lot of medical care and uh there's always the deductible too you know so you have to look into the insurance policies I would never tell anybody this policy is better than this policy I don't know and the only way you're going to find out if policy's good is when you go to use it and uh so you have to make make sure you have the best information possible to go into that but half cash man half cash and St Luke's is very uh expensive but that's for major major things you you don't go to St luks when you got a spray and wrist these things you can take care of here for you know a thousand pesos or a couple hundred pesos it's the major medical things where you have to think ahead of time what am I going to do and sometimes it's going to be if I had you know it's something I'm not going to discuss right now but if I I know what I would do if I had at least I think I know what I would do I don't know if fear would fit in I don't know if I could be as strong as jwes and and just accept uh the outcome and work towards helping my family and if you guys think it's easy for juules to get on Paul's Channel and ask for help you don't know people this is probably as hard as fighting the cancer for him is to show weakness and ask for help now you know he's not saying I need help but being on Paul's Channel he's asking he knows uh that Paul's going to ask and I'm going to ask and other people in the community are going to ask and it's a hard thing for him to do uh he didn't come out about this until it was just too much it was it was was just overwhelmed just totally overwhelmed and he was keeping people updated in his blogs on his YouTube channel but this has to be hard he's a very proud man but for the love of his family he has to accept what we're doing for him family but we're all family and there will be be a time uh when all of us all of us there's every one of us and this is a discussion I had with uh Roy uh he's married to a philippin his YouTube channel but he lives in the US he took his wife and uh their son her son uh to the US putting him through school he plays football he plays basketball they go fishing and we always talk he's coming here in five years the sad thing is in five years who's going to here maybe he won't be here maybe Roy won't be around in five maybe I won't be here in five years you life changes you know when our time's up it's up you know when it's time to clock out it's it's time to clock out people I don't want to say people come and people go but you know Bill Walton Walton just died and he was one of my heroes when I was growing up you know I remember him in the Olympics at UCLA how old I am and uh probably one of the best basketball players ever to play in college and he's gone after long PO with cancer when God calls he calls and uh we can do as much as we can God gave us the ability to be educated and have hospitals and scientists and doctors to help us uh get over these illnesses but when it's time uh it's time and you need to show support to people you care about in their time of need in their time of need I don't help people who are drunks on the boulevard I don't help a homeless guy uh because he gambled all his money away I don't help uh somebody who came over here totally unprepared and is physically able but he doesn't have any any money you know we help him get out of town get back on a plane but I'm very selective in who I decide I want to help and I it takes me time to decide if I'm going to help somebody and uh Jules is one of these guys I would gladly help I you know I I a I'm angry at myself for not being a closer friend to Jules than I was but our lives were just totally different you know he had an older family he was in construction I had a younger family and um you know we just had different different paths in our lives juwel sending you prayers and blessings what is the secret sauce for longevity uh I don't know I don't know Al the Paul's taking over my channel old dog what did the people that don't like Pacific cross experi there's other insurance companies the ones that don't like it experience I think the rate increases year after year as you get older but that's that's the same in the US Insurance rockan Jules you're a good person I'm not here to talk about uh xack ER I'm not here to talk about different insurance policies I will tell you to uh do your own homework on Pacific cross and like I said I'm going to try and get Mike onstead on a live stream and you guys can ask the question so um hit the notification uh button below so when have no I do not I have I have part eight I I I am covered under part A and I think another part I'm not sure but I don't have Part B if I flew to the US I would be admitted into a hospital because medical insurance coverages in the Philippines okay good take a look at it and pick one out U Mike have you yet received any personal benefits from no I've never used it thank God thank God I've never used it I feel for the guy but uh but this is a lesson you know something here when you go when you go into hindsight and you go backwards it's like saying when you get in a car crash um you shouldn't have been on that road well yeah of course I'm in a car crash I shouldn't have done that don't go hindsight he's glad he has children he's proud of his kids so uh he's 60 years old it's not like he had kids kids at 70 or 880 you know he had kids with with his wife and for a long time they've been married and this is their family you're you're treating it like you know some old old guy come over here at 80 and and U had had a child with a 20-year-old uh it's not the same it's not the same that's probably the toughest thing he has done yeah I think so I think so you know uh I really believe that stay strong Jules budget Mama Michael is just jealous yeah that he is I'll be checking out juul's Channel when this is done thank you Mike thank you I saw the video a couple days ago uh with old dog put me to tears I had to turn it off been following both of these guys in you Mike for some time yeah I did the same thing I could not watch and a lot of Paul when I talked to Paul he said he had a lot of comments where people said they couldn't watch it it was just it was just so sad but I watched it again to get the complete story um and there's things I learned about Jules I'm I was impressed with uh how strong he stayed uh what are we focused on financially for juules medical Trea treatment or help for his family going forward or both it's one pot you know it's it's the family pot but Jules is is working towards his family support now his family support he does have metal you know he has to pay his bills he he's not on Social Security he came here with money and a plan and uh that's all gone to kaput you know what did Mike Tyson always says uh the best plans of falter once you get punched in the face um he got punched in the face hard and he need he needs our help I'm not I'm not ashamed to say he needs our help I'm going to say it for him Jules needs our help he needs our help some of the older guys I'm around have health conditions but doesn't it seem like older guys have more health issues older guys have more health issues everywhere everywhere Jules is a great guy uh a real Survivor health insurance in the Philippines all right thank you so much for that we'll make sure we get that to him um we don't live forever Get Busy Living you know what was that movie um with with the convict uh red and he said either get busy living or get busy dying uh that's the true statement while you're alive enjoy your life enjoy your retirement because you never know when things turn around I remember some of juul's early videos he wanted to be that guy now if he gets sick there I still want to be that guy due to all the love and support he's getting you come here now and anybody anybody you come to the Phil I don't care about your past I don't care about you know you went bankrupt uh you know you owe credit card debt uh whatever I don't care about none of that when you get off the plane and and you have your backpack and you're going to baggage claim and that walk through the Manila airport as you're going down to uh customs and the Bureau of immigration get your passport stamped say to yourself I'm G to leave all that crap behind once I get my passport stamped I'm a new person I'm going to be a good person I'm going to treat people with respect I'm going to have patience and I'm going to enjoy life you don't have to be friends with everybody there's people there's a guy I met yesterday and it's like the third time I run into him I think he's one of the biggest jerk in in dumag Getti Valencia area just sits at a bar and drinks all day but I'm not going to lash out and yell at him I'm just going to smile acknowledge and go on my business and the friends you do make you're going to have a close circle of good friends and then you're going to have another circle of friends who are friends that are they're legitimate friends maybe I should change that you're G to have Circle great friends and then you have Circle good friends and then you're going to have that Circle of acquaintances be nice to all these people be the guy when people see you they say good morning Mike or good morning Don or good morning Paul or Good morning George don't be that guy when they see you coming they put their head down so you don't make eye contact don't be that guy where they say all this seed is safe for somebody else I don't want you to sit at my table don't be that guy don't be a jerk we have enough jerks here already and uh when you get here you have a new start on life be a good person and then when you need something your friends will rally around you but if you're a jerk you're going to live on an island by yourself and that's in a crowded City Bruce all the great uh bloggers that pitching in to help Jewels makes me proud of be an American a lot of good people they're blogging in the Philipp yes yes Bruce there there are many good people and some some are non American but I am very proud of the Americans Jules just exactly uh no Part B or C or all in one plan but you still have I have Medicare uh everybody has it you have the hospitalization uh part a uh Napoleon thank you thanks for the live stream to help days we lose our health care not the US is different as long as you're paying monthly because we pay for our healthare we we don't have free health care um you're eligible you can come back into the U but you have to go to a US hospital for Medicare they want you to use the US hospital I had my kids at 40 and my wife for 20 years see guy yeah Jules don't have to explain nothing to nobody I block those people and you know that you've been around this YouTube enough you know out of the 500 good comments you're gonna get one or two idiots it's just name of the game but yeah jeles kids are for his kids are great they're they're polite they're active they're physically fit they're smart they're educated his his kids you know you'd be proud uh and I'm sure you're all proud of your children but if your children uh were like his you'd be proud When I visit the Philippines and somebody begs for money I look at uh and try to size them up if the guy has a missing hand Etc give him some because he probably has a family provide yeah there's when you look at the Beggars there it's a funny situ the old I give to the old women by the church because nobody's GNA hire them they can't there's no money for them to be made or if somebody is missing a limb and or blind and um a healthy person I I just can't because there's there's work you can go there's you can get jobs it's just like in the US you're not going to make a lot of money but we're not comparing American money here um there's enough people to help if you want to help somebody Mike I didn't know firsthand but uh you told that YouTuber takes 4% of the money sent through the on the super chats I don't know what it is some of them is uh 10% some is 20 some's 30% I I don't know the exact percentage but if you send $20 through Super Chat I'll make it sure he gets the full $20 I'll pick up the difference I'm really sorry to hear about Jules I'll be there in one week remember the hindsight is always 2020 uh we little bit off topic but but still the same topic I'm hoping everybody that's watching my videos are either coming to the Philippines been to the Philippines or they have hopes to coming here you need to prepare yourself you need to prepare yourself for end of life and and you know this is not about Jes this is about me talking to you it can happen anytime you know you can get run over on your motorbike I doubt that that's going to happen they go so slow here but anything can happen you can slip in the shower you know uh most injuries to old old people are falls in the shower you know at home Falls and you have to prepare know where the hospital if you're in a neighborhood contact an ambulance service so they know where you live make sure you have their phone number all you guys living here right now if you needed to call an ambulance do you have that ambulance on your phone do you know where that emergency number is for the ambulance do you know where that number is for the police are you prepared have you been to the hospital and talked to someone in admissions about having a family doctor that's on record that knows your physical being so if something happens they contact that doctor you know what if you go to the hospital unconscious you know do they know who you are when you get there probably not but do you have somebody at home maybe you have a girlfriend maybe you have your wife maybe it's the maid that comes in in the morning to check on you every day take these precautions you know back home we had that silly system of 911 you could grab the phone down 911 on the landline and even if you couldn't talk they knew where where your home was and how to get to you and they'll get to you quick here you don't have that you don't have 911 here you need to call an ambulance you need to have a neighbor that you know is more than willing to get you to the hospital and be prepared for those little things things you don't even think about guys come here they ask me where can I live where can I meet a girl uh what's the best place for pizza nobody asked me what's the best Ambulance Service no one asked me uh what's the name of a good doctor you know a lot of people say oh you can get a doctor at the holy child's hospital for 400 pesos well that's all right to fill a a Viagra prescription or hypertension prescription you're bringing from the US that's fine but what about a top-notch family doctor someone who has dealt with foreigners has dealt with old people old foreigners and their problems get that wellness check you know no matter what's wrong with you the sooner they find it the better it is the sooner they find it the better it is get these little precautions that you don't think about you know you're you're thinking about well where the cheapest hotel I can stay for the week and if if you have a heart attack today at the home you're running or the apartment you're running do you have the number to the ambulance who are you going to who's the first person to call in an emergency I bet you most of you don't have that both most of you when you get here you won't have that you're going to rely on your girlfriend and me relying on Janet to pick me up and get me out to the street on a on a a trike is impossible you know I'm 200 plus pounds and Janet's 80 PBS how's she going to pick me up and and the fear that's going to be going through her head and everything you have to you know it's like in school we used to do the do the fire escape you know fire alarm would go off and You' practice how to leave the building maybe look into that look into that stuff maybe you take something like this where somebody is sick and and everything you guys come in here get that physical before you leave the US get as many tests done as you can tell that doctor I need that colonoscopy oh my chest I got chest pain so they check your heart while you have insurance get as much done as you can it just gives you an advantage so when you get here you know your medical condition and you can deal with it while Mike making up what YouTube keeps from the Super Chat sticker to give Jewels is very honorable thank you yes nope I did the same with Monte uh I had quit watching the updates because it made me sad yes it does it it does uh it does glad he has uh brought me back uh good luck my friend yes it is a sad story remember everyone we are still human beings be decent and and if you can uh cause you never know when it could be you you never know when it's going to be you that's right we're all raised to be decent people in life yeah these troll people and they they get on my uh it just it it's just bothers me it they don't bother me but there's a time and a place for IT guy if I'm talking about age Gap relationship Jules is such a proud man and and didn't really leak this out how sick he was to to everybody and uh and young his a he's so young you know and um it's just the stage four you know this late in cancer where there's a end of life in less than a year and you know the concern uh when I talked to Paul that he had a hard time walking from his car to his house coming back from the hospital spitting up blood all these things he talks about just make you you know grasp at how quickly life has changed you know how quickly life has changed for him his family his wife his kids you know it has changed dramatically dramatically bill says thanks Jules touched a lot of people's life through his YouTube channel yes yeah he had a great you know he had a good YouTube channel and um once this uh GBS hit 30s 40s and you have a family in the US and you had kids you were responsible at that time but now that you're me 70 75 you know we get up there who are we responsible to we're responsible to ourselves and the people under our care and under our care is financial you know we we we bring these ladies into our lives that become a partner they live with us and we're responsible for them and if we disappear too fast it puts it puts a hardship on them and I give a lot of credit to Jules thinking about the family way more than himself way more than himself and you look yourself in the mirror could you do that I don't know I don't know I don't think so it it's it's such a hard thing let's hope we all make the right choices in life and we do the right things but we all make mistakes in life hopefully he already added his wife to his YouTube account she have access to everything uh I don't know uh we will find out make sure uh you all share this that's the big thing here I want
