Evil Genius 2 #23 - Eliminating Wrecking Bola and Agent X

hello everyone i am pirate falcon and this is evil genius 2. in the last episode we eliminated ms foxworth and stopped the parasite program so now it surprisingly didn't take me an extremely long amount of time to get everything fixed recovered and while i was at it we were also i also managed to research the final level of safe it's these secure safes they have a footprint of one by two really i guess one by three because they have to be attached to a wall and they have the step in front but anyway they hold a bunch more money so i'm going to slowly start upgrading the vault to take them we i can't afford to do that to the whole vault right now but this is a good start so meanwhile i'm also chasing some cash money around here and before i launch this though because we are recovered since i am operating mainly out of africa i'm going gonna choose wrecking bullet to take down next i find asian x more aggravating and i find symmetry more interesting but wrecking bola is the tactical decision here because she is i guess if i take her out nothing's going to stop me in africa anymore so let's do it let's go to objectives and choose the reckoning it's time for you to deal with wrecking bola once and for all devise a cunning plan to take her down and lure her to your island so you can spring your trap you know wrecking bola has some kind of weakness you're sure it's been in front of you this whole time do the research necessary to determine what it is you know what i can't stand about you big brain why is it you and olga are both accusing me of having a big brain and that that's somehow bad anyway what i'll bet if i stay quiet you'll come right out and tell me that's the second time you've used that line ivan you think i don't want the world to change too you think i like things the way they are i crawled inside the big machine of the world so i could fix it and what i don't fix i break permanently you want to topple things you need to be inside outsiders like you you're all just thugs so down you go okay complete research project the dog house all right well i guess i'll do that uh in a second because we're currently researching something else but i'll grab that as soon as i can got it you've at least discovered the key to bulla's heart dogs construct a defense perfectly designed to exploit that weakness that's right it's time to roll out the robot doggo you're just endearing yourself more to my heart evil genius too all right um shut up go away so i can see my screen douche go away thank you oh that'll get me my last uh mining interesting um well i'll grab that and say construct the puppy of death hold on wait a minute uh construct a puppy of death okay i don't i don't know how to do that let me think we did just get a thing called the construction office um maybe it's there cloning machine there it is construction depot fabricates items for collection no more running to the depot under the helipad costs 250 000 jeez man all right um okay this is gonna take me a minute i've gotta say sticking to one area and especially now that ms foxworth has been eliminated and i guess wrecking bola just wants nothing to do with me because she's saving herself to deal with a puppy of death i can just stare at the world map screen and wait for all these money missions to finish and i don't have to do anything else i i don't know how to feel about that but it's interesting this is also going to be low pressure for my video render because it's a lot easier to render a static screen than it does all the movement i was doing in the last couple episodes turns out the puppy of death is a tier 5 research project in the traps category luckily there's no prerequisite mode so we're going to research the it is joe cute the puppy of death build the thing and then see what happens meanwhile i'm still collecting money on the world stage um oh here's a an advanced strat i want freaking atomic ola olga to be out of western hammer she's not moving so i went into central hammer just to run a quick mission just to piss her off and hopefully that will move her i'm having the same issue here with agent x because i want this mission because it's a quick hundred thousand bucks but uh this dick face is in my way we're gonna have to deal with that um yeah there was something else oh oh my money saves so the safes are better uh you can see down here that my current maximum gold capacity is one and three quarter million dollars however each of these safes consume five power so having an entire vault of them is going to require so much power that it's going to be a little annoying i'm going to try to still convert this group into vaults maybe but uh i really don't need to so i may just leave them as they are because this should be enough money especially as we start getting the super agents out of here there we go it is so cute okay let's yeah i want that one so heat isn't quite as hot for me and now let's construct a puppy of death i guess here in this first hallway it's almost a shame we've taken care of anyone who could possibly be a threat at this point because now i really won't get to see what the trap will look like no one can get anywhere near the base the casino is hopping and my minions have it under full control now that your defenses are bolstered for a wrecking ball invasion get her attention all the dog shelter she's built in lagos will be a lovely target for your doomsday device um okay i guess we're gonna nuke some dog shelters now that's fine everything's fine um yeah this isn't evil at all i'm just look i'm just defending my territory uh where am i western saber okay here we go okay that's done capture wrecking bullets you can have one final conversation with her before ending the threat for good oh um does that mean i'm gonna have to wind up escorting her down there well whatever wrecking ball are you on your way i see her friends i don't see wrecking bulla herself oh there she is all right we'll flag her to capture flag everyone else to die they are excellent rank um ivan why don't you come up here i don't know if i'll need you but let's bring you up to the wing kind of the staff wing until i know for sure if we will need you okay it's about to pop off she's flagged for capture but she's invisible so oh well now she's not yeah she can destroy one of my freaking gun cabinets that's fine um all right ivan go ahead and get involved but keep your distance oh wow we took her down quick she's already ready to be escorted to the cell and it's not even worth me bringing out the rocket launcher for this because i would do more harm than good to my beautiful casino at this point there we go well that was easy um ivan why don't you head upstairs why don't you hang out up by the cells we'll see once uh why is everyone catching on fire oh there's fires going on down here um guys put those out please here force the door open wrecking ball isn't a holding cell awaiting her final send off oblige her and then get off your life all right so we will tell her to be interrogated at the puppy of death i guess ivan isn't coming back yeah i'm just kind of hanging out all right um if this gets bad because that is a bit of a walk to get there we can always move the puppy of death up here i can delete all three of these traps and just put the puppy of death up there if i have to oh seems she's going the whole distance so let's see what this puppy of death is all about okay seems normal oh what a cute little doggo it is so cute who's a little wasm you're a little wasm yes you is with your googly eyes and your glowy tail and man your eyes are derpy okay um any intimidation went out like a [ __ ] wild stage all right then a woman sees a broken machine she crawls into it to fix it and along the way she becomes another cog when you're gone fish will be very shortly that's the story of wrecking bowler people will remember spare me your gloating i know i'm done just tell me this big brain what did you do with the dogs i will step over a thousand bodies to get what i want but i have my limits the dogs are fine well that's nice but momentarily no one will ever be able to say the same of you goodbye wrecking baller you haven't beaten me you've just caught me between strikes wow wrecking ball uh unknown status unknown but then again who cares i'm a little surprised they still talk their trash after they have a bot yeah and this valet timmy kibble has the honor of burning wrecking bola once and for all and now we have full access to africa with no one who's going to get in our way and stop us this is awesome all right so now we've got her taken care of um i suppose symmetry is the next annoying one but i really hate mr x and i kind of or agent x i want to know where his story goes so uh x agent x ex-agent has decided to oh i guess that was backwards agent x has decided now is the time for a final reckoning with you and you couldn't agree more exploit your knowledge of his past to lure him in to a confrontation he can't escape before he was an agent x he was intrepid journalist sam hill plumb through his past and find out what it'll take to lure the star-spangled planner into a trap agent x this is a surprise our last conversation left me with the idea we had nothing else to talk about before i bring you down i i just have to know i need to understand how can you live in a world with no truth you have the ear of the most dangerous cunning person in the world and that's what you want to ask me it was mark twain who said truth is mighty and will prevail i don't know if it was intentional or not but agent x really does sound tired now if that was intentional acting that's really good because of everything we know about him at this point but if that was a lack of direction then it's just a happy accident [Music] let me quote him as well then agent x never tell the truth to people who are not worthy of it fair enough embarrass agent x is that a world stage mission yes it apparently is delve into the record of sam hill the journalist who became agent x something about his past will show a weakness for you to exploit oh and i need to be criminal network four for that okay so that's going to be our next priority for never mind i already have it researched okay time to time to do the thing i'm still in the middle of getting things upgraded here for example i need 10 counter agents to do this mission which i had not seen even though we are at level four but that gave me an idea i get a hundred thousand dollars for the short-term mission now that it's a level four what will that do in africa i'm very curious so once all of these money missions start to finish like this one will be next i mean wrecking ball is gone miss foxworth is gone there's no reason not to upgrade africa to its maximum level who's gonna stop us [Music] so we have our first upgrade here in sabre at level four the long-term money mission gives one million dollars over two hours which is of course 120 minutes and that breaks down to eight thousand three hundred thirty three dollars per minute which is nearly double a level 2 network and about 20 50 more 20 more than a saber level 3 network holy crap and if i take that across all five zones and i don't have to worry about maybe any enemies attacking me or any super agents attacking me and of course we don't have to like it costs the same amount of intel at 20 intel like geez man we are about to be very rich you can see i'm redesigning my vault here to make a little bit more logical sense but one of the most intriguing things to me is that finally it's taken me this long but the minions screwed one tile up that's really good that it took them that long before i found a bug or that just something in their routine stopped them from doing that exactly right that's really good ai programming for the room building i love it quick update for where i'm at i mean it's only been two seconds for you for me it's been a while um i flipped my entire vault as you can see here now we only have a maximum of just over 2 million gold there would be a higher maximum except with this design i had to remove a bunch of our racks oh i missed a spot i had to remove a bunch of our racks in order to get all of this designed which is a bit more spread out with obvious paths all around that's going to help us when we deal with symmetry and i suppose it wasn't strictly speaking necessary but i hope my minions can figure out how to navigate a little bit better now so we've got enough money coming in what we're waiting on now is training 10 counter agents in order to take out that mission i'm going to bump up the counter agent training count to 15 temporarily and ivan himself is hanging out upstairs trying to do the do it now but man the it takes a while to get counter agents trained and i was already operating at only a cap of 10 and whenever you upgrade your network to level four you need a counter agent so i was just getting to 10 and then immediately sending our counter agents off to the world map to upgrade networks i mean it's paid off in a sense we have all five networks here in africa upgraded to level four and we're getting quite a bit of cash but even these missions here hard work and graph it takes a counter agent in order to do that mission but now that i have no more financial products projects rather outstanding um there's no reason for us to do any of these short-term missions i can't remember if the long-term missions require counter agents but we're just gonna sit on our hands collect money passively and wait until we have all 10 counter agents so we can go do the next step to deal with agent x we finally got that mission done it turns out sam hill's secret hobby is dancing and what more of a fitting in for your foe than dying on the dance floor build a laser disco and uh get back here dude i wasn't done reading that uh uh build a laser disco and spread rumors of a highly select dance party what really okay um that's going to take me a second we have been working so hard here that i've got 100 progress in the global operations tree 100 progress in the layer 300 progress in the minions tree we're just working on the traps tray so there's the laser disco um i'm gonna go ahead and cancel this one and work on the dance floor whatever thing immediately and i suppose i'm going to expand let's get rid of this cell and then we'll expand the prison no i i would need corridors um looks we'll we'll get a big corridor here that'll hold some traps for us that does look like a party in a box okay let's research the next thing i suppose and we will put a disco party up here with either the minions or the training room boss probably will only need one let's yeah we'll just stick it here i don't know what i'm looking at here i definitely see a pattern here and i have a feeling i'm going to have to research all of those final traps in order to make all of the super agents leave me alone forever but whatever uh well you set up agent x's final demise treat yourself in a more personal vengeance fire your doomsday device on my own rush bar okay sure we're gonna destroy mount rushmore um head on over there to the to the havoc red ivan well we've nuked north dakota south dakota one of the dakotas agent x has underestimated you soon i'll be sitting inside your holding cell awaiting your final judgment okay well that's probably good why is there a fire all the way over here did i never make okay i probably should have made training i've got truth and justice locked and loaded sure uh i never okay let's add a chord i mean it's a little late for this now but let's add a corridor and put some fire extinguishers probably should have done that a while ago but it's probably fine i mean so i lose a couple tv stations whatever or tv item things uh okay one there one there cool beans baby okay where are you agent axe your piece of [ __ ] oh you're coming in through the front door boy that's weird um all right let's get ivan and janet over here because if nothing else they can do something oh well that's gonna result in a bunch of death in about three seconds yep here we go okay if you're sure you have the storage did i even even get over here where are you ivan oh yeah you are in the middle of this where where are you oh there you are oh he is personally rabbit punching agent x and i guess it worked it's been a while since we've had to shut down the casino for any length of time okay ivan um let's bring you up by the cass by the dancing thingy i do find it a little sad that the evil genius doesn't automatically attend the execution of of one of the super agents that's it's just a little sad but oh whatever the end result is all that matters go have one final chat with agent x before you turn him into an ex-agent all right get over here buddy it's your time to dance to death apparently now see ivan's wasn't even freaking paying attention at this point all right let's see how this is gonna go at least look in his direction there you go well that definitely looks like a party oh gosh is he is he doing like a michael jackson dance or i mean okay i guess that's just it whatever fair enough you quoted mark twain to me agent x truth is mighty advil prevail do you know the rest of that quote red ivan is so culturally knowledgeable just kill me already will you you've already won twain goes on to say there is nothing the matter with this except that it ain't so isn't that something you asked me how i can live in a world with no truth i tell you now when you have the power the truth is what you say it is that's the world i'm building but worry not agent x you won't have to live in it that's wilder frontiers than this i'll be back unknown potential who cares that might be uh maybe a little too real nowadays but okay we're just gonna go ahead and say that we were victorious and move on um ivan i have nothing for you to do buddy just head back to your main office desk for a minute and we'll figure it out all right so that's well we still have a little bit of time okay got the sharks let's do the bees they're too busy attacking your enemies to make money ah killer bees i need to get them researched next time so i can do more bee traps those they were fun in og evil genius um well yeah i've still got some time i mean we may as well start the next one i don't know if i'll be able to finish it in three minutes but uh symmetry you're cute but of the remaining super agents you're the wait where's olga oga's not listed here that's strange maybe i have to do some of these loot quests to get her to reveal herself uh well whatever um better someone than no one symmetry has fixed me for long enough it's time for us to do something about her every time we face her she's always been a step ahead hard to fight an enemy like that boss if you can no longer do your job i could always give you a new one how does chief shark appetizer sound what did you have in mind right answer becky is balance it drives everything she does i will exploit that fascination and use it to enter okay i'm on board swipe anvil artifact from the world stage okay seems to be this one we need a level four network okay so i'm just going to talk for a moment so i don't have to smash cut to that but i suppose that will be the end of the episode otherwise i'm not sure why olga hasn't shown up i think what i'm going to do is after we eliminate symmetry i'll start hitting the crime lords and then if olga still hasn't shown up we'll hit the loots and keep going um it's like i said i want to experience what the game has to offer not necessarily just beat it immediately once i have the opportunity i would do that after my first run but this is my first one so i want to enjoy it um i guess i've killed enough time we're getting close to 30 minutes so that's going to do it for today might be a little short but i think we've made a lot of progress today thank you all very much for watching i will see you again tomorrow
