everything i did to prepare for HAWAII

[Music] hi guys it's nicole and welcome back to my channel in today's video we are preparing for hawaii last vacation of the summer we're going to oahu and maui i'm so freaking excited it's gonna be so much fun but i have a lot to do i'm gonna get my nails done go to the store and buy some stuff and then i need to pack so you guys are gonna come along with me while i prep for hawaii but before we just got to the salon right now here are my current nails i really love this set i love this color i got them for cabo it's like a turquoise teal color and i got tips to make them longer but here's the inspo pick that i'm going to show my nail tech my girl is really good i've been going to her for like years now so i already know she's going to pull through but it's like a light pink french tip i think there's like a heart on the ring finger and i'm also getting a pedicure i'll probably just get white because that's always what i do but yeah time to fix these bad boys [Music] you came in at the right you time changed my life i am obsessed okay so here they are pink french tips almond shape and then the little heart on the ring finger and then for my toes i actually ended up getting the same pink color i didn't get white but i love them nails done okay next we're gonna run a few errands so i'm gonna go to sephora and target and pick up a few things i just ran out of felix products so i need to go get some new ones [Music] i got the big size of brazilian bum cream from sol de janeiro because this is my favorite lotion it smells so good my niece lip glowy balm in berry this is one of my favorite lip balms and i ran out so i tried to get another one a little eyeliner from sephora collection for my mom and then i got two products that i've never tried before but i've seen them like all over social media first one is the dior lip oil i've been wanting this for the longest time but every time i go to sephora it's always sold out so i got the color rosewood and i can't wait to try this and then last i got the charlotte tilbury highlight wand it's the blush one in pinkgasm next up is target [Music] [Music] target haul i found this mini travel razor it's so freaking cute and then it comes with a case this is like my new favorite thing i also got some travel containers just in case i need to move some of my skincare or hair care products in here neutrogena makeup wipes and then my favorite mascaras i've been running out so these are the maybelline sky high and then lash sensational okay and then lastly i just got gum just to get yum i don't know and that's it [Music] all right i am back home and next step is to shower and do a pamper routine so this is where i'm going to shave exfoliate you know all of that i've been using the same products for a while now so i'm going to hop into the shower first and do all of that and then i'll talk about the product see you guys after my shower all right shower is complete and i put on a face mask if you can tell this is the glossier detoxifying green mask i think that's what it's called but while i let this sit on my face i just wanted to talk about some of my favorite self-care products lately just things that i've been loving and like have been helping me and i've seen progress first we have olaflex the products that i use are the shampoo and conditioner and the bond smoother and bond oil i've been using these three products for the past few months and then just got this one like a month or two ago but i have been loving them so much i've definitely seen progress with my hair before olaplex my hair was like super frizzy and like once i let it dry i would have to do it and like put heat on it every single day because i didn't like how it was like curly and stuff but after using old flex my hair is like so much smoother and it's been really helping especially since i dyed my hair back in like january since i got highlights so definitely recommend next are these products from tree hut this is the exfoliator and this is the shave oil these are in the scent coconut lime but i swear every scent that they have smells so freaking good i don't use these products every single day in the shower but when i have to like shave and exfoliate that's when i pull these out so i start with this one go in with a razor and then after i do that i'll go in with the exfoliator but i just love these products because the scent is amazing it makes my body feel really soft and i love how they go together and then last product i want to talk about is the souls asian arrow brazilian bubble cream you guys saw this earlier in the video because i got a bigger size but this lotion is my holy grail i just love how it smells and i will never get sick of it it's just so good so yeah those are some of my products i recommend i'm gonna let this dry a little more and then i'll wash it off okay last thing i'm gonna do today is create my packing list so every time i go on a trip i always make like a note on my phone or like type it out on my laptop just all the things that i want to bring so that i don't forget it and i usually do these four categories so i'll do bags clothes bathroom and electronics so i'm gonna go ahead and type it out on my laptop all right i just finished my packing list and you guys will see all the stuff that i'm packing later in this video but this list is just for me to like have an idea of what i want to bring in like a mental note so that i can like check things off as i pack them but that is everything that i'm doing for today so i'll see you guys later hello guys it's now the next day and it's time to pack so i actually laid out everything that was on my packing list and just things i think i want to bring but now it's time for me to show you guys what i laid out and where it's from starting with clothes i have no clue if i'm under packing if i'm over packing a low-key looks like a lot but again we will be in hawaii for eight days so i feel like i'm packing hopefully just the right amount but anyway let's begin first i'm packing this crewneck because it says hawaii so i think it's perfect next we have this romper so i actually bought this a few months ago like when school was still in session because i remember putting it in one of my vlogs i was like showing my friends i bought it and then i also said that we were going to hawaii but i like bleeped it out and some of you guys like read my lips and knew that i was going hawaii but anyways i'm bringing this to hawaii it's from hollister it's super cute it's a romper like i said and then it opens right here so you can see a little bit of your stomach then we have a few different tops this first one also from hollister it's just brown cropped and it has like little flowers these next two are from princess paulie this first one is light blue and yellow and it says hawaii it's so cute and then this next one's also blue but it's cropped and it says whatever another little crop tea this is from brandy and it has a little dog graphic okay and then last two are just some tank tops just a basic black one from i think garage and then this white one from tilly's and there's a little tie in the back next i'm packing a little work outfit some speed-up shorts from lulu and then an aligned tank from lulu i think one of the days we're going hiking like on one of those trails to the waterfalls so i'll probably wear this because it'll be hot af then we have some bottoms i don't know if i'm gonna wear these because it's gonna be hot there but i'm just packing my lulu flair leggings just because they're like super comfy and i love wearing these then we have two denim shorts i'm pretty sure they're both from nordstrom but just a blue one and then these black ones these shorts from brandy they're just sweat shorts and then another pair of sweatshirts from pacsun and they look like this oh also we're gonna be able to wash all of our clothes there too so like if i need to like let's say wear these shorts again then i can wash them and then wear it again okay moving on very exciting stuff i'm actually teaching a class there in hawaii by the time this is out the class is already done but this is what i'm packing for my outfit these sweatpants from princess paulie very fun neon color and then this shirt is perfect because a little color coordination this is from brandy it's just an oversized t-shirt next we have some pajamas i'm only packing these shorts from pink i brought these to cabo but they're like my favorite pj shorts and then also these olaf pants very comfy okay and then for shirts i have my sunbum t-shirt it says trade everything for love and then my miraculous shirt literally bought this off of amazon he says i am my own hero last but not least we have my bathing suits i'm bringing four first we have some pieces from princess paulie just this black top and then these pink and green bottoms super fun and then the next three that i'm bringing are from black beau swim and they actually sent them to me so thank you black beau i cannot wait to wear them i haven't won them yet but this one is probably my favorite it's so cute okay so it's a strapless orange floral top and there's like a ring in the middle ugh i'm so excited to wear this and then here are what the bottoms look like so so cute the next one is this print and then here are the bottoms and then last one is a triangle bikini so it looks like this and then here are the matching bottoms and then obviously i have all of my undergarments oh and last thing i'm gonna bring these two hats i don't really know which outfits i'm gonna wear with them yet but they're both from princess paulie just this pink with a smiley face and then this blue one it says take me on holiday yeah okay and those are all the clothes that i'm packing time to go pack this in my luggage before i start packing my luggage let me just show you guys which bags that i'm bringing so we are checking our bags in i'm just bringing my calpak medium size luggage and then my tote bag from marc jacobs as my carry-on and then i'm also packing my lv shoulder bag and my barnes noble tote bag just so like i can wear it on a day-to-day basis like if we go to the beach i'll use my tote bag and then if we like go to a restaurant or go shopping i'll use my lv bag okay now time to pack all my clothes in the luggage [Music] okay for shoes i'm bringing three pairs number one is a given my nike af ones number two i feel like is also a given i bring these on every trip these are my birkenstocks and then number three i'm bringing these adidas these are the shoes that i work out in so if we go on a hike or like do something very active then i'll wear these [Music] time to pack bathroom stuff here is the bag that i use it's from philosophy and then it has my initials on it but like i said we are not checking in bags oh wait no we are what am i saying we are checking in back so that means i don't have to move my big liquids into containers that are three fluid ounces and less so like let's say my shampoo i can just take this and it'll be fine okay so here's what i'm bringing all four of my olaplex products the shampoo conditioner bond oil and then bond smoother glossier invisible shield sunscreen we're going to be in the sun a lot there so definitely need sunscreen skin care products i have my cetaphil gentle skin cleanser and then my kiehl's moisturizer and kiehl's eye cream my retainers toothpaste and then my toothbrush i'll pack the morning of the razor that i bought in this video i'm so excited to use this i just think it's so cute makeup wipes q-tips hairbrush with hair ties and then two claw clips and then last but not least my makeup bag i don't think i'll be wearing makeup too much on the trip hopefully not hopefully i'll just be like natural every day but if i do need makeup then i'll put this on okay i'm gonna organize it better but this is all my bathroom stuff and last thing i need to pack are all of my electronics and all this is going in my tote bag my carry-on for the plane of course i will have my laptop and the charger grind does not stop when you're on vacay and then i'm gonna bring this camera and this tripod that i'm using at the moment i'm also bringing the gopro and the tripod for it i love gopro shots i think they're so fun though i'll definitely be using this when we go to the beach and stuff just looks like that can't forget my phone charger i have a little koala on mine and then in this bag i keep all of my editing equipment so like my sd cards hard drives my like adapter thing i also need to bring extra camera batteries because i will be vlogging and then i'm debating if i should bring um the great gatsby because this is my summer homework for ap lang i have to like take notes for each chapter so i was gonna bring some post-it notes too so i don't think it'll hurt if i bring it so this will also be in my carry-on all right and that's everything i am all packed i still have tomorrow like all day tomorrow and then we leave the next morning so if i forget anything then i'll remember tomorrow and try to pack it but that is it for today [Music] [Applause] [Music] good morning guys today's the day we leave to hawaii it's really freaking raining 4 33 currently eating mcdonald's i feel like most of the flights we go on are like really early in the morning we always get mcdonald's for breakfast it's like travel day essential [Music] mom are you excited of course it's hawaii baby so we're at our gate you guys there was this ringing noise that literally didn't stop for five freaking minutes it was so bad okay but we're boarding in like oh we're just more than four minutes i'm so excited say hi to the boys
