Every Upcoming Star Wars Game from 2022-2025!

we have a ton of star wars games just around the corner and some of you watching this video will be wondering why are you making this video you've done a video like this about four or five months ago well we have had some big changes since then including two game reveals a couple confirmations some trailers and three new games announced since then it's been a pretty insane four months to say the least literally a few hours after i uploaded the last video i'd done on this the kotor remake was revealed like that was the the luck with my timing moral of the story a ton has changed in the star wars game scene in the past four months and there is just so many star wars games to look forward to in the next three to four years so today we're going to be going over every single upcoming star starting off this video we have the knights of the old republic remake which is confirmed now this game's confirmation literally came out just hours after i made my last upcoming games video last year so you can begin to see why i wanted to update it now but this game had been rumored for a long time and in september of 2021 everything came to fruition and a teaser trailer was dropped with your boy revan front and center now originally it was thought that this was going to be a playstation exclusive but it is going to be dropping on pc as well at some point aspire media are currently hard at work on this game and the expected yet unconfirmed release date of the game remains sometime in 2023 but that's certainly give or take the upcoming star wars fps coming from ea and respawn is one of the most interesting upcoming games that we have it has the potential to fill a massive void left by the abandonment of battlefront 2. but no confirmations are in place on what this game could be a lot of things lead to it potentially being a battlefront spin-off game centered around inferno squad from the battlefront 2 campaign if you want to know what evidence is there that suggests this then click in the top right corner of this video we go really in depth on why this fps could actually be a battlefront spin-off but anyway some people do believe also that this could be a republic commando game but a lot of the main hopes seem to be that it's some form of online first person shooter which is absolutely possible given the success of games like apex legends peter hirschman who previously worked on the og battlefront games is leading the development on this title and it has only just began its developments so it's still very early days with a hard to gauge release date but sometime in 2024 seems the best bet lego star wars skywalker saga in recent weeks has finally finally after countless delays had its release date announced as well as a massive in-depth gameplay trailer and deep dive with over 20 planets and 300 playable characters spanning across all nine skywalker saga films this is going to be one of the biggest star wars games of recent memory and lego's biggest and most ambitious project yet lego star wars the skywalker saga is set for a release on april 5th of this year which is right around the corner the rumored mandalorian game is without a doubt the game that we know the least about in this video according to minimal sources it does exist and i mean a mandalorian game makes complete sense and the rumor is that it's going to be an xbox exclusive as the industry insider that revealed this game being in development released what he knew about the game following a video call from phil spencer who was of course the big boss over at xbox this screenshot right here is all we have about this game at this point but the leaker in question is credible and has proven himself in the past so it's interesting that he would come out and say this if there was no credibility to it so patience is absolutely required to find out more about this game without a doubt one of the most anticipated star wars games out there at the moment is the next installment into respawn's jedi series which ea officially confirmed just a couple weeks ago finally now there are very strong rumors from some of the biggest named insiders in this industry that this game could be coming out as soon as this year pending covert of course with an expected reveal sometime in the next few months it's not known at this point whether or not it will continue calculus story or if it will follow a new jedi in the series but thanks to very credible sources we know that it will feature existing characters from fallen order as well as some new faces so expect a reveal for this game very very soon star wars eclipse is one of the new reveals that came out of absolutely nowhere a couple months ago a massive cinematic trailer was dropped for quantic dreams first outing into the star wars universe the game will be centered around the high republic era with characters such as yoda making an appearance and it appears that it's going to have several jedi characters in the game as well as voldemort now this game is strongly rumored to be open world whilst also following a similar formula to quantic dreams other big titles such as detroit become human this game is still a while away but if the cinematic trailer is anything to go by there is a lot to look forward to with this game as it will potentially be one of two open world star wars games in the near future now speaking of open world star wars games the only straight up confirmed one is ubisoft's open world star wars game the game announcement that just broke the internet at the beginning of 2021 back when lucasfilm games came out swinging with some absolutely massive announcements this game was leading the way now very little is known about this game the rumors are that it's going to focus on a bounty hunter open world formula think of the likes of star wars 1313 or visceral's project ragtag both of which were both cancelled so this may well be a game that we have been robbed of for a very long time ubisoft's open world formula has gotten pretty stale with a large focus on quantity rather than quality i distinctly remember playing the last three assassins creed games and just checking out after about five hours just because there's so much to do but there's just no reason to do it but massive entertainment are going to be taking over this game who are the creators of games like the division so it'll be interesting to see how they go with their first star wars outing but this game is still a while away 2024 seems to be the expected release time frame but that may be a little bit ambitious there is absolutely a huge chance that this game could be coming out as late as 2025 one of the three star wars games recently announced from ea is a brand new star wars rts a new studio helmed by industry veteran greg forsh are going to be creating the new star wars strategy game it's going to be developed through a production collaboration between respawn and bit reactor now respawn will produce the game whilst bit reactor leads development fans are really hoping for a sequel to empire at war but it's still very early days for this title and they are still hiring so realistically anything can happen with this game and the release date is absolutely anyone's guess star wars hunters is a strange title because it's kind of already out but it's not selected people have gotten their hands on it already as it received a soft launch at the end of last year but its proper launch is still yet to be determined all we know is it's going to be out fully sometime in 2022 first reactions of the game seem to be a little bit mixed some people are enjoying it some people just flat out are not interested it's an arena style game with force users wookies droids a little bit of everything going on so expect hunters to be out completely at any point throughout 2022 you're just gonna have to keep your eye out for it so that was every upcoming star wars game from 2022 to 2025 i absolutely expect this list to grow as it has grown a great deal in just the past few months alone hence why this video exists with the star wars license officially opening up completely as of next year expect even more studios to get involved with the star wars ip there is of course one huge game missing from this list that sticks out like a sore thumb that of course being battlefront 3. now for those who don't know and we have covered this extensively on the channel but dice did actually pitch a battlefront 3 2 ea but ea said no because they didn't want to pay 20 of the game's profits to disney but then they went and greenlit three other games it yeah it makes no sense but ea have been left to lick their wounds with abandoning battlefront 2 for a miserable failure in battlefield 2042 and they've kind of blown it with this franchise so i do expect something to change for the battlefront franchise soon with a likely spin-off coming with the fps or another studio sweeping in and making the battlefront franchise their own either way there is plenty to look forward to for star wars game fans with plenty more to be announced i'm sure and there is something for everyone to look forward to except for multiplayer fans it seems but i mean it all kicks off this year in 2022 so guys let me know what star wars game you're excited to see the most and if you found this video
