[Music] [Music] hey so i'm working on that new feature and i'm a little stuck do you mind just sharing your screen really quickly and showing me how to do every single step hello sometimes i write the code but other times the code writes me yeah i got into programming because they pay you a ton of money and once you have a lot of money you can get all the chicks you may be wondering why i wear such dark sunglasses it's because i don't actually see the code i feel the code i'm one with the code [Applause] yeah before graduating college had an offer from amazon only had a total compensation of about two hundred thousand so i cashed out once my shares vested went over to google for a cool 300 000 but these netflix and facebook recruiters have been blowing up my inbox on linkedin so i'll probably consider them at some point by the way did i mention i work at google 99 100 101 ask not what your code can do for you but what you can do for your code i don't know how some of these developers don't know how to invert a binary tree i mean i was doing that at like four years old blindfolded get a degree why would i waste my time going to college socializing with people making friends when i could just sit here in front of my monitor all day plus i already have a ton of friends okay on xbox live every time there's a bug in my code i take a shot fortunately i never write bugs [Applause] [Music] i taught myself how to code i taught myself how to eat i taught myself how to sleep yeah i've been coding since i was like 13. we did some html in middle school so uh what was that no i haven't really coded much since then but i've been playing a lot of video games so i might get into game dev because playing video games and coding are basically the same thing what this is only like my fourth beer plus i actually cope better when i'm a little buzzed my sister's husband's cousin's former roommate works at blizzard so he'll probably be able to get me a job there where's my mouse sorry guys i need to take off i need to finish this blind post about how much i'm making uh maybe i'll exaggerate it a little bit just to get some good reactions [Music] [Music] you
