guys the last time you saw us we were in Queensland Australia we have since jumped on a plane and have arrived in New Zealand over the next three episodes we're going to be showcasing three perfect places found in Queenstown known for its thrill seeking adventures and remarkable views Queenstown truly is Magic today you can find us in a really special location at the base of the remarkables here at Glen fidic Retreat are you ready to feel the magic we can't wait to show you around today's perfect place come with [Music] us Glenn ftic Retreat is six be for bath and hosts up to 12 guests the layout of this home is absolutely incredible and we will be showing you every square inch today this is the main entryway I love how sophisticated this area looks especially with the antlers hung on the wall what a fantastic impact as soon as you open the front door now come around the corner Corner because the true highlight is this incredible view of the [Music] remarkables baby you give me Ice and Fire I need to focus on filming you because I'm I'm getting distracted by that amazing view that remarkable view I know it really is remarkable it has that name for a reason and I must say me as a 17-year-old snowboarding down those slopes on my school ski trip definitely didn't think me as a 30-year-old would be standing here admiring a view like this from such a stunning house I mean just wow this this is a highlight of my find the perfect place experience no doubt absolutely it's on the Showcase real that's for sure speechless absolutely speechless now this open plan living area holds kitchen dining and lounge and this kitchen itself looks absolutely incredible as it doesn't overtake the surrounding View and all of these cupboards are incredibly well stocked you can see that you've got all your Staples and this section holds all of the plates bowls and chopping boards you've got a massive double door fridge and freezer with cold water on tap which is always nice and this here is a secondary Pantry holding many coffee options so absolutely everything here for you to make a coffee of your [Music] choosing [Music] over the other side of the kitchen this is where you'll find the island bench not only is it incredibly spacious for all of your kitchen needs there is also a breakfast bar with three seats to enjoy during your stay there's also a double sink and a dishwasher so you don't need to worry about doing dishes during your holiday which is always a nice touch to have down the side of the Island beach this is where the wine fridge is housed we've been incredibly lucky to enjoy some wine from a local Winery here in Queenstown we've been lucky enough to have a little taste test of a white as well as a red that has been an incredible highlight of our trip and we'd highly recommend picking up a few bottles if you have the chance to do so and of course are of legal age to drink [Music] the other half of the kitchen houses the dining table this is in the perfect position to sit back relax and admire this incredible part of the [Music] world now follow me through into the lounge this space in total is incredibly homely and really is such a Divine spot to sit back and [Music] relax baby you give me ice and F you're giving me Wind and Rain you're some kind of butterfly baby you me [Music] now not only is the ducted heating and cooling throughout there is also a wood burning fireplace which has kept us toasty warm although spring snow is still on those Mountain Toops as you can see so it has been lovely to enjoy the warmth of a wood burning fireplace also found in this space is a large Smart TV which is just perfect to have in the background as you enjoy a few of the board games that Glenn fidic has on hand they truly do have you covered for a rainy day with a number of activities and Bronson is going to show you a very special feature to enjoy on a rainy day later in today's episode now this also doubles as a fantastic Zone to admire the view of those gorgeous remarkables adding to the spectacular space is the incredible High ceilings and I love the choice of feature lights that they have within this Zone undoubtedly this is the main Hub of the home this is an incredible space to enjoy with friends and family and we truly have felt at home as soon as we opened that front door yesterday afternoon now to create a fantastic indoor outdoor flow there is actually double opening doors this leads out into this gorgeous patio area and there's even a private spa bath a highlight of Bronson and I stay has been kicking back and relaxing in that tub glass of wine in hand as we just look up and absorb that spectacular view now we're going to go through to bedroom one of six it's incredibly spacious and designed perfectly for a luxury holiday the rooms are intended to feel like a hotel stay and that truly does add every ounce of Elegance to this Retreat I have felt like royalty during this stay because it truly does feel like a luxury hotel escape and the view from this room is absolutely [Music] outstanding [Music] bedroom one of six just as all following bedrooms of this home are incredibly secluded from one another which provides endless amounts of privacy for every guest staying within the home I love the design and layout of this home and I can't wait to show you through the rest of this outstanding stay now we're going to move on through to the second wing of the house which houses two additional bedrooms this section is incredibly spacious you have a storage cupboard to the side here to put some of your belongings during your stay and the first bedroom on my right hand side houses two single beds and then we have an additional queen-size bed to the side here now this is actually the room Bronson and I have chosen to stay in during our stay here at Glen viic the mattresses are so incredibly comfortable I cannot fault them one bit it actually reminds me much of our old mattress we used to have before we hit the rose we of course don't have a place to call home but we are very lucky to call many places home for a short duration and nothing beats a comfortable mattress while you're on holiday another highlight of this room is the view of the remarkables from the floor to ceiling [Music] windows and they've even included full length mirrors on the back of every door so they have you covered there as well now there's a half bath on my left hand side and this moves on through to a full bathroom this space is incredible you have a full-size bathtub I absolutely love this tap because it makes the space feel incredibly like luxurious and there is even a ghd straightener that is on hand and I'm sure that will come in handy for many many guests this is incredibly lightful as well as you've got the big window to the one side here and everything is on hand a few little extra goodies which once again make the space feel incredibly Hotel esque little touches like this add that additional Touch of luxury and I feel as though I have been whisked away to an incredibly luxurious hotel but with the added benefit of that homely open planed living area I really just don't think you can beat this combination the pure luxury of the bedrooms and bathrooms mixed in with the homely feeling of the open plan living area truly makes this space incredible now there is so much more to see I am going to hand the Reigns over to Bronson who's going to show you some incredible features of this [Music] [Applause] stay how remarkable was that area of the home pun 100% intended now there's so much more to show you around Glen fck Retreat I can't wait to show you guys around beginning things off in the entertaining gaming Zone how incredible is this this is actually a converted garage we've got ear hockey we've got table tennis and there is a bunch more toys over in the corner here for the young ones to play [Music] with [Music] This truly is a stay for everyone to enjoy now right behind me we have the washing room which includes a washing machine the dryer Basin plenty of bench space and then if you're wondering where on Earth am I going to dry my washing Bronson well I've got a solution for you well in fact Glen ftic Retreat has a solution for you and that includes an entire drying room how cool is that I've never experienced a drying room before until last evening when zish and I had a bunch of stuff to dry after doing our laundry and it worked an absolute charm didn't it it sure did and it is actually designed more so for ski gear yes because you are literally just 18 km away from the remarkable ski field the entryway is literally just down the road there and then you can make the trip all the way up to the mountain another thing is you are 30 km away from carinet Peak another spectacular ski field we have in Queenstown along with this drying room The Spar pool undoubtedly is perfect after a long day on the slopes as Isa mentioned earlier this is a six bedroom stay she showed you through the first three now I'm going to show you through the final three to create space and privacy between guests at this end of the home it is actually split between two levels we've got one bedroom on the ground level which I'm going to show you after but to begin with I'm going to take you guys upstairs into the Loft to show you what's up [Music] there starting off with bedroom 4 of six walking through here we've got nice high ceilings in the A-frame style we have two single beads at the end of the beds we have two twin wardrobes and a little area to put your suitcase we have skylights up in the ceiling so you have amazing views of the mountains around you and then in the evening you also have amazing views of the Stars walking back on through into the Shar hallway we also have a shared bathroom in this space there is your twin show heads a basin and twin Skylight right above me [Music] here bedroom number five of six and the skylights continue into this area this room includes a queen-size bed the TV up in the corner there and your heat pump to the foot of the bed your wardrobe and two bench areas where you can sit your suitcases or have a little seat for yourself as you look out that spectacular window at the remarkable Mountain which is the [Music] remarkables bedroom 6 of6 will not disappoint it's in its own private section of the house it includes a fridge and its own kitchenette let's go take a look this room is incredibly spacious in the center there is your queen-sized bed and above that some beautiful artwork another open plan wardrobe and then as you're walking through into the ensuite to the left there is your kitchen net I [Music] give a true highlight of this day has to be these Majestic Mountain tops
