authentic delicious French food it's gonna be a full day of eating we'll start with breakfast and we go all the way until dinner so let's go [Music] [Applause] so we're gonna start a day off at one of the nicest bakeries in Paris they're called Boulangerie in French this one is the bakery Depot super beautiful traditional French Place let's check it out with its beautiful 19th Century interior Dubai dizzy day is a great place to sample traditional French bread and pastries the bakery is particularly famous for its crunchy pandizami bread and has won several awards for its outstanding quality all right and we got a lot of the most famous pastries to start with the most classic the most traditional one of course this is the most iconic French pastry it comes with a golden brown crust that shatters upon biting revealing layers of delicate buttery dough parisians usually eat croissant in the morning with a cup of coffee or as a sweet afternoon snack foreign [Music] pastry besides the croissant it consists of buttery flaky layers of dough that crumble on the tongue and is always filled with two stripes of Rich velvety chocolate and I'm going to continue with a really exciting one this is so it has apricots on the inside and I think it's gonna be real delicious you can really see how full this apricots they're flowing out here looks delicious kind of like sweet and sour at the same time it's really delicious that's your favorite baby yeah so this one is called that's kind of like a soft cake it's like kind of sweet sweet taste yeah you like it so soft yeah and more sweet I think this is probably the best yeah it's the best one for me and then the last one is like a famous specialty from this bun on Julie right here this is the Escalade so it has this takio on the inside and little bits of the chocolate I think is going to be amazing foreign [Music] I think that was a great traditional French start to the day at the dupai Dizzy day it was so now we're gonna follow this up with a second breakfast and a really modern spot [Music] we are here now at the Wild and the moon which is a vegan vegan pay while the moon was founded in 2015 and has six locations in Paris it offers a diverse menu of plant-based dishes from smoothie bowls to salads and sandwiches all made with fresh organic and locally sourced ingredients [Music] and I got the nice cream bar here with different dried fruits and I got an acai smoothie to go along with it what did you get I get the Powerball and the mango Cindy so let's try them this is the the nice cream ball also lots of berries inside and like kind of like a smoothie like a cold cream wow it's really healthy I can taste like all the fresh fruit and I think um has perfect to get something healthy after like the more traditional croissants that we had before [Music] how do you like yours it with enough so a little crispy um with the Apple too I can feel a little crunch a good sweet too yeah the color is funny yeah it's really nice I think this is probably by far the healthiest food and drinks we've had in Paris so far easily so also this super healthy second breakfast we're now going to get something that's not quite as healthy uh where are we going for chocolate yes exactly best chocolate in Paris I'm super excited after a short walk we arrived at one of the shops of jean-polivia one of the best chocolate tea of France who has won numerous awards for his masterful Creations that include chocolate candies makahon coated nuts hot chocolate powders and chocolate Cakes and Pastries [Music] so we just got out of the Jean-Paul event shop um we have a lot of chocolates and macarons and we're gonna go to a park now to try them I think it's gonna be absolutely delicious I love chocolate I think this might be one of the best stops of the day so far [Music] we found a nice little Park here called Squad and we're gonna try all the macarons and chocolates here now and this is the thing that the chocolate shop is most famous for obviously the prolines and the little pieces of chocolate we have like a nice mix here of different kinds of chocolate this one is called woman the one right here Karen I wanted to she's probably gonna try it and then we have some some milk chocolate ones at the top and some more darker chocolate ones here at the bottom as well so let's try it I'm gonna go with the milk chocolate one it's probably gonna be more sweet and Karen you can try the woman the woman probably need this one looks milk chocolate is going to be very sweet at him [Music] wow that's like a very strong Taste of caramel this is so nice this is like dark chocolate inside that means it's not so sweet but I like it it's like a woman with a dark secret I guess on the inside this one here is like a medium dark [Music] oh wow I love this one this one has like a very strong orange flavor oh man it's amazing really nice and fresh the dark chocolate on the outside is perfect passion fruits this is the third for me the caramel and dark chocolate it's amazing it's like really 10 out of 10. this is amazing it's the best mushroom I've ever had delicious well because they specialize in chocolate so you can see that it really has like a thick chocolate filling and then the macron on the outside is also really good so like a little biscuit on the outside it's also really nice and fresh I like that slender guys a little caramel and it's so sweet and we say one of the best in macaroon for last this is a dark chocolate macaron that won the competition for best macaron in Paris so this is very exciting to see that's like a really thick chocolate filling it looks absolutely delicious [Music] gun like biting into a piece of chocolate cake kind of like a chocolate brownie very soft chocolate on the inside wow really really good it's like a chocolate lovers dream this one we walked a few meters and arrived at a very special Market we are now inside paris's oldest cupboard Market this is from the 17th century imagine this Market is more than 300 years old and it's very famous for lots of food stalls that serve food from literally anywhere in the world they have Japanese food Moroccan African anything you could want and also a lot of fresh produce vegetables and cheese of course this is a French market [Music] after exploring the various sections of the market we found a great spot to have lunch we are now here at the Japanese stand and we got a Bento Box with vegetables and rice and it looks really good and we also got some he's here some sushi [Music] here you go it's gonna be a challenge [Music] Karen is trying Chopsticks no I can do it okay maybe like this let me try a bit of the fish maybe a knife would have been good yeah [Applause] let's try the macro looks really good it has a teriyaki sauce so I think this is gonna taste really good really nice I love the Teriyaki it's really nice and warm it's really good it's delicious [Music] and the the Maki looks really nice here I really like this Japanese food it's great because it's so light and after all the other things that we've already eaten today this is perfect to kind of counterbalance that it's really fresh too absolutely delicious you can find more information about the mercedes-on formation about all the other things that I mentioned in this video in my free Paris Travel cheat sheet at maxnoma.io Paris I will include the link in the description below [Music] so it's a bit of a walk to our next stop we're gonna walk for 15 minutes but it's a really nice way to see Paris and all and all the buildings here only bad thing is it's starting to rain so hopefully we can make it before we get completely wet [Music] and now we're the super traditional French place this is the iskago Montague and as you can easily tell by their big sign they're famous for their snails so we're definitely gonna have some snails and also some delicious frog legs I'm a bit scared um I have never had frog legs before I think Karen have you ever had snails before no no it's the first time okay I think this is gonna be very interesting and yeah let's see what they actually taste like I'm scared dating from 1832 Les cargo Montero day is a true institution when it comes to traditional French cuisine the restaurant is listed as a historic monument and serves fresh seasonal dishes based on recipes that have remained unchanged for Generations [Music] we ordered some wine to accompany our meals cheers [Music] what is it and then the restaurant served their big golden escargot and I've had snails before but to be honest I'm still a bit scared of that I've eaten them like once or twice so the way you eat them is you use this little um it's like a little pinch thing to to hold them up and then you use the Little Fork to hold them up and that's how it goes let's see how I I'm able to catch it oh no it's moving [Music] let me try again you can do it I think I think I got it now okay there we go so then you just pull it out and there it is so this is the snail and this is the sauce it's a garlic parsley sauce and the tail is actually really good if you if you can like forget the image of the snail when it's alive it tastes pretty good mostly like garlic oh yeah this is definitely the best sale I've ever had I can tell you that and then it was Cotton's turn to try a snail let's go okay [Music] oh wow it's amazing this is a massive snail [Music] let's go oh wow it's really good I can't believe it it's salty it tastes like chewy I like it and the next up we have another traditional French specialty these are frog legs and uh yeah I guess you can really tell that this used to be a frog we asked the waiter about the best way to eat it and he said it's best to just use your fingers and kind of eat them probably like chicken wings I guess wow that's actually super tender [Music] it's really nice it's kind of like it's a bit strangely the consistently I think it's somewhere in between chicken and fish it's super tender and soft wow [Music] again I guess if you can forget which animal this this used to be the tastes actually really really good wow I guess it's really like chicken wings but better kind of crisp on the outside a little bit of um kind of like parsley garlic flavor [Music] it's really good I will try flood lights oh I'm scared I think it's a real challenge for me because when there is a Frog close to me I run out wait a minute so let's go [Music] oh wow amazing I like it I can't believe that I do that [Music] that was quite an adventure I must say it's probably like the most challenging thing we've done so far how did you like it yeah it was amazing it actually tasted really really good much better than expected but now we're gonna go for something much much easier and more excessive looking it's gonna be sweet [Music] after a bit of a walk we are after our next destination so now we're here at the princess Camp which puts a Japanese spin on the French tradition the tiny princess Club restaurant is designed in the cute Japanese Kawaii style and offers irresistible crap with inventive fillings that change every month and here I have the princess cap on the left which is the specialty of the house and as you can see it looks absolutely amazing with the chocolate ice cream and the strawberries and the raspberries and this is the crepe Dumont like the cap of the month and it has apricot and vanilla ice cream and little bits of chocolate it looks really great so let's try them this one is for Karen and this one is mine okay let's try it delicious I'm fresh please sweet please thank you I think chocolate from fruits it looks really really cute yeah it's really good [Music] trying to try mine now this has a chocolate ice cream oh man oh wow I just love sweets in general this is perfect the ice cream and the strawberry and some little bit of chocolate which makes it even better then we got a banana here oops gonna get it got banana here with cream and the French flag it's just perfect this is like such an amazing okay I'm really happy right now [Music] I think that was really really nice kind of adorable this shop with the Kawaii the Japanese cutesy style and also the people working there were so friendly they actually even left the store open a little longer for us so that we could finish the trip I think this was one of the nicest things we did today what do you think I think it's so sweet the place I like it [Music] after short walk we arrived at a local Deli called alabido rodes which specializes in products from the averon and the Vernier regions of France it is a perfect place to stock up for a picnic in one of the many pretty Parks of Paris we just got out of this really cute shop which has traditional French cheese and lots of other Specialties also lots of meat products like a lot of sausages and ham and we got a little bag full of goodies now yeah here we go we're gonna now try and find a park and try a few of these French Delicacies on our way to the park we stopped at a local boulangerie to get the most quintessentially French food okay Parisian bakeries prepare baguette fresh several times a day and French people eat the deliciously crispy loaves at any hour according to Legend the shape of the modern baguette was created when Napoleon ordered Army Bakers to create a bread that soldiers could easily carry inside their uniforms [Music] I feel so French now with my baguette here it's perfect I'm really integrated into Parisian culture now Karen got really into the French Spirit too [Music] time [Music] so we are now in the hotel Sally it's a little Park here in the mare District where we are and we now set up a little picnic here in the park you can see it here with all the delicious cured meats and the cheeses that we got from the shop so let's start the picnic [Applause] so I will start with this uh ham here I think it's smoked oh wow it's really nice really really flavorful you can tell it's a bit smoky it's really nice this is like a spicy sausage it's a bit like the Spanish one the horizo I guess it's called just the French version really nice and spicy I think oh I like this one this one is really really good it's kind of really flavorful you can taste the meat and uh yeah it's delicious and this is of course one of the most famous cheeses from France this is the very traditional style here I'm super excited to try it with the baguette that we just got I'm wrong I guess it's probably the most typical French taste ever no it's so delicious I wish we had some wine to go with this it tastes super nice like the cheese is really really good [Music] [Music] oh wow it's true the best one all right [Music] we finished our picnic and continued to our main dinner location and we are now in a very traditional French restaurant called and it's really just beautiful you can see that it's super traditional with the waiters wearing the traditional outfits too and all the decorations being really classic French and I got one of my favorite dishes from France this is the traditional onion soup it has lots of onions as you can imagine it also has lots of cheese and bread on top and I absolutely love the soup it's just so typical so French delicious cheers foreign land here with some potatoes that looks absolutely delicious especially with the herbs on top man so nicely arranged [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] that's amazing it's so nice and tender it's really really good today [Music] and then our desserts arrive [Music] after this [Music] it's delicious [Music] and I got another typical French dessert this is so in English I will translate to floating island it is basically a merang which is made from egg whites and sugar and it's literally floating on chemongles which is a vanilla cream as you can see here that's like very liquid so let me try this this is the first time I'm having this so I'm quite excited to see what's gonna taste like ooh it's super fluffy foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] I hope you enjoyed this epic food tour of Paris if you're also
