all right good morning guys we're on the bay patch bait's a little tough this morning i don't see any cigar middles last time we had todd iron his buddies we crushed the tunas on the cane pole actually we were swinging them in one after another but that was a couple months ago and it changes day to day let alone you know month to month out here there's some ballet who's back here now we're gonna try to get those we really want cigar minis but we don't see them so we got some blue runners in the live already james loading up the net a lot of boats here this morning catching bait sun's coming up in the east we're going to try to catch those valleys right back there got some blue runners so far the pressure is on we got cakes we got cakes we got em all right we got some bait to start not allowed to chum with we're hoping to go try to show up some tuna but we got enough at least put some out live we're leaving a bait patch right now we've got rally buchanan right here in a band called fidget neptune check them out they got music everywhere online we're gonna try and catch a fish today swordfish is the main target but we might try to catch a tuna or a queen snapper and uh see all right you guys heard them here we go got some fish now i'm ginormous shark got himself we hooked a tuna sharks are on them instantly sharks are going to be tough so if you ever wonder if there's a shark shortage there is not a shark shortage in alamarada i promise you that it's not here come on come on incredible got it all right all right shark shark one us zero yeah go ahead we got some cut bait going down there some squid little piece of fish work and a heavy lead we're going down to the bottom we're trying to catch some dinner fish here a couple tunas we hooked sharks were on them too quick so we uh should we catch a queen snapper now though and then we're gonna go swordfish after this 330 feet i hope it's a queen snapper there's no talon what is it double header you got one on the bottom and a jack on top like a tuna on top look at that double header wow tuna and a queen that's great there you go yeah beautiful clean oh he's almost oh look at that queen apparently you got a double header there oh suckers up there double header lift him like a bass like that so double header there tuna and a queen snapper and a singer came off he was fighting pretty funny here go ahead grab this you're just gonna shut it and reel he's eating it all right start reeling start reeling keep reeling dropping trying to catch a queen snapper nice little bonus there so i'm swimming stop right there oh got him on up here too i missed him now he's still on there all right who's up up here guys okay it's getting closer you can see him coming up keep coming they're getting away now 200 winner winner queen snapper dinner main reason we use a little electric reels you guys is we have on an eight pound piece of rebar this is not like a light sink or hankering for fun we're trying to get dinner here we want groceries here we go wow beautiful fish there grab that lead here we go isn't that crazy that one bigger or smaller you wouldn't think a fish would be that pretty that lives down in the darkness you know from 600 to a thousand feet of water and they're beautiful we got a pair of queens now feel like we're playing poker we still got donuts here just gonna fish the day all right let's go be it we just got a big bite we're hoping for a big queen it really hammered it a doubled over could be a grouper it's a yellow edge that'd be good they're open but snowys are close we'll have to see what happens maybe it's a double header big old fat queens when you get a piece of fish down there squid down there on the bottom you know for bait anything can eat out here in the ocean i mean you never know what's going to eat it so here we go we got color down there is that a big yellow it's a big grouper it's a big grouper hopefully it's a yellow edge guys yeah nice yellow edge grouper you guys that's james's first one he's ever caught yellow that's a beautiful that's a beauty big old yellow edge grouper this one's picture worthy look at that group of them oh yeah you grab that wedge look at that grouper yeah i haven't caught a big one of those all year good job guys i've never caught one of these yeah look he ate two baits yeah that's sweet yeah similar to a snowy group like white house but their fin tips the edges are yellow that's what i call a yellow edge grouper and he was so good though he just inhaled it it's a good way to start the day there even we don't get a swordfish now we got dinner that vmc hulk had him really good he was not coming up there he was not coming off we're gonna ice him down see what else happens today we had a bite a swordfish whacked it the tip went pink got one on guys to make our day let's bring it up with this other rod so we're on 1600 feet of water 15.99 lots of bait here today lots of bait so i started eating their donuts you know they left the powdered doughnuts up here if you leave it by me i'm probably gonna eat some of your food so just keep that in mind it was coming up when he hit it but he's on there for now we're bringing up the uh front bait there just piled on another swordfish on there double header on hopefully they stay hopefully at least one stays all right so we got a doubleheader swordfish on there this could be hectic around the boat they're tricky around the boat so a lot of you guys ask you know if we can hand crank you can hand crank all you want you know i did i do whatever you guys want to do i just try to make sure everyone's having fun this might be a nice one yeah yeah this one's scoping up this could be a good one here guys oh you just come off or jump that one came off right there so close wow look how beautiful this thing is yeah we're on the board grab that one all right we got one on the other one got away but uh what a great day it's not even noon yet it's 11 53. we got a couple queen snappers we got a swordfish we got a nice yellow edge grouper we got a little tune and we got a mahi we got it all today they're biting yeah just lights right like we're checking our bait this one's heavy i think we got calamari oh yeah right in the eye tada calamari that was down there we're about to call it a day no action for a couple hours but we caught a squid and uh we just hooked a sword seems like a small one but hopefully stays on there getting closer now maybe we can tag and release them if so hopefully beautiful fish we got a tag look at this he coughed up a squid back here there's a squid back there floating so that's what that swordfish was eating james you want to jump in and get the squid look at that we got californi wow he's still alive he just ate it holy cow it was still moving look at that he's still moving holy smokes i thought he was sorry put your finger down wrap around that's the color of the duck yeah look at that holy smokes that's cool that's pretty neat we got bait for tomorrow right you guys heard of the sword in the stone that's the sword in the squid we got fresh bait for tomorrow so here we go we're going to call it a day two swords lost a third one we got a mahi we've got a couple queens got a really nice yellow edge grouper we're going back to button marriage we'll see you back in there enjoy the ride hey and see all the fish did you see the swordfish yeah all right we got fish to clean so here we go another friday here look at these beards really coming in good yeah beautiful yellow edge grouper you guys 36 incher we're gonna cut him up and they got queen snapper to eat they got a group where they got mahi a little tuna and they got swordfish that was the main goal so now this thing's super slimy a lot of these deep water fish are slimy you can probably see that coming off my fingers there so we're going to take the hose we're going to spray some of that slime off and then work our way down here right over his rib cage knock some of those scales off this is one of my favorite eating fish right here of all the fish we catch this would be my top three why do you want to watch him do this partially too because we don't catch a ton of them we just catch a handful of them that's a nice one ate that squid early this morning even though we didn't get the swordfish we would have had a decent day because everyone was happy catching some bottom fish so just using that knife though working our way right down the backbone now james is over there he's doing the swordfish but i'm going to do the grouper here and the queens and the mahi and that one tuna now his belly will be a good fresh swordfish bait look how white that fillet is though absolutely gorgeous meat here they do a good job yeah they do the most in the world no doubt about it look how white that meat is on him isn't that pretty this is the yellow edge yeah this is my top three favorite fish to eat both the meat's really good and they're kind of tricky to catch we don't catch tons of them so just gonna knock that uh center bone out for you damn this is the cream of the crap right here that's bones in there i can eat that there you go grouper fillet there half here i'm gonna flip them over and do this other side now i'm gonna save his whole head here maybe we'll get you making mike see if i can break it off there we go so it just broke there he's broke his spine a bigger knife would be better like a boning knife but james has got it over there so i'm using the flexible blade now all right so there's the guts we're going to save that for crab bait that's gonna be for stone crab traps now our trap's out of the water right now but we're gonna put them back in a couple weeks we got the new baby so the eyes no cloudiness so nice yeah yeah yeah one is still fresh on nice you know that looks good this is that yellow edge grouper we caught the other day we had in the cooler for a couple days on ice and uh everybody loved mike and being the last video so we're getting the band back together and uh here we go so cold front came through you can see there's rich he's good on his nice uh sweater thing whatever that's called oh yeah thanks jamie i don't know if my wife got it for him everybody said did foster get after you oh no he's like say foster over here just one just like it right yeah yeah all right so everyone's getting their winter clothes on it's warming up though but let's watch mike prep this and then we're gonna fry this bad boy up oh i got it here it is the scaler yeah i'm gonna after the skill a big time you know right there it's a rough stuff a scala right there yeah yeah it's slimy star and i'm going to take after my slime you know real nice but it's fresh and nice proper you know but that one that's still on my maybe i'll eat the eye i don't know we'll see people fried fish i eat the eye man put in jamaica yeah man i eat fish eye before yeah with smaller one yeah a smaller one like plate size fish you eat the whole head they let it fried up crispy but they do in jamaica you fried the fish but smaller fish you know i never see like a big one for like smaller clear sized fish yeah my fried top on five nights like people chew up all the bone man all this sideboard john chew them come on so let's get off all of the skills then first before i do anything else you know because you know this are the hardest part right now just cleaning it up you have to make sure it clean up real nice real proper yeah real professional prep work is important yes it's very important until yeah you see after clean up if you have to clean up all of that so let's kill them up nicely you know it was a cool day down here what was it like 59 we woke up yeah first cold front december 1st you see it some some uh some fish had soup really warm up my soul right now you see it i would have the best thing right now oh yeah you want to change it to a fish at soup we've been waiting to fry a big grouper head for a while so mike's gonna share some knowledge rest today yeah i know you got some mutton has a back stock somewhere yeah ah don't make me twist your arm so you know the fischer troop is coming i like to take off some of these you know yeah yeah i like to take these off you don't have to and that's why i call it a yellow edge grouper their fin tips are yellow hopefully you can see that they're in the sunlight so yellow edge grouper like crazy looking yeah look how spread out it's pretty look like a butterfly it does look be a butterfly look at that looks like a coral fan yeah or something like that yeah kind of cutting down like that there yeah yeah so i mean so now it's like you know i got to cut the truth koto into right here in jamaica i said boss it's what you know so i gotta bust them on another chore right yes sir so i can get it kinda you know ah so that's you know so i got this i kind of brushed it through it like that seeing so i want to get to the getting real easier so get in there and say kind of bust it through it like that right so all right so normally i'll go for the gills now so you see all right that's got to come out yeah uh it's got to be real clean these are sharp too these right here they get you it's good to have like a gloves and all of that because it helps you know so cut out the gill yeah there we go it's like ah easy with that all right let's do it see i gotta get on the tongue yeah everything oh no yeah so nice so it's just muscular left now it's just a good clean up you know spray out wash out i know i said my after bringing the lime juice with a little bit of vinegar just so you know that's why some some people don't bother with it because all the work you know it's a lot of work just yeah the brush up because see i can kind of clean them up you know that's what we use on a swordfish on the inside of their bellies sometimes yeah to get away yeah all of them and stuff there you know you don't want to fight with all that stuff in there you want to get out of the gills and all the inside out you know see it everything are kind of cleaning out now we're going to spray them out and nick give me a good idea with the wire brush the wire brush is perfect forget after extra skills and just brush it down you know clean off all the excess stuff so thank you for that nick that's i never know about the wire brush on it but we're always learning you know that's the thing we're always learning and teaching each other things and i've never used a wire brush on the outside of the fish i'd always use on the inside he was on a scale there's cleaned his head right on up yeah it's perfect for it perfect yeah i'm on i love it everything nice and clean though you know the water i don't know what happened to the water right now let's see what's going on we lost our water yeah might have to get you a bucket of ocean water to rinse them rinse them off another ocean water in a bucket yeah which is which is pretty good you know because you know the pipe water got chlorine in it but it might even be better yeah it's definitely better though you know it's just that i don't have the hose to spray it now to like spray these little stuff or the pressure or the hose would help but trust me in jamaica i saw what would see them wear with a sketchbook without water and stuff like that you know groups grow up certain ways sometimes we don't have a pipe you know you just have to use water from a tank or you know catch water in a bucket and all them stuff there you know so this is real caribbean style right here right now real clean real good real proper yes i am seeing i'm gonna get another fresh water now i'll get a little bit of vinegar this time you know pour the vinegar in some water not too much you know and then i'm gonna squeeze a lime in there a whole lime so you know get them in there squeeze them up so i got some vinegar lime water this helps cut some of the um what do you want some rawness or fishiness yeah yes to get it so yes exactly yeah this is like it's like a sanitizer yeah that's more like it dip him in there i could feel it i could feel it on the on the fish already cleaner i could just feel the cleanest feel it nick if you feel you can feel the cleanness yeah yeah that's citric acid if you let it sit in there for a while i'll cook it and this is just a real light rinse and then uh mike's just prepping i'm getting them ready ah so right there that's it and then one more thing now is just to rinse it off with some fresh water all right and we're ready to season it up look who else showed up not billy bob there he is but colby's here with his daughter tegan say hi wait to everybody now one day i knew colby since he was that size he was the star of the show with the big lemon shark that ate the iguana and maybe tegan will be on an episode one day maybe on a fishing episode we'll catch a big fish then you can troll your friends all right perfect nice all right yeah one so see it right in the first water and look a rinse them off now and yeah take them out let's go let him drink what are you looking at billy bob not much yeah so guess what i'm gonna cut the throat off let's take them off separate because guess what i'm gonna tell you why in a minute so we get that off and i'm gonna get the other side of the throat off i'm gonna tell you why right now so i'm gonna take it off because all right so you see this now this this part now is a lot of me just see that yes it's a whole meal right here so why i cut it off separate now you see the head part itself yeah you want it to fry a little more crispy you want to get it more crispy and then i don't want to if i keep it together these part might fry it a little bit because you don't want to overcook this part of the meat because there's a lot of fish right here that's part two yeah man now the seasoning up right now yeah i'm on big up everyone in a bigger parliament come on one love you know it's true so this is just the season is just the everglades seasoning salt black pepper and some garlic powder that's it i just mix it up all in one you know and then you know so we just come on we're gonna season him up nicely enough you know put in the seasoning i am just the right amount just the right not to you know crazy just enough you know just get down there season them up you know yeah sometimes maybe not even trying to buy it i'll eat something that would just enough put a little pork a little bit of holes in it so the seasoning go right you like that you see it yeah i'm gonna just drop the seasoning on it you know i'm gonna put this some on this side too you know it's real it's enough enough to get it then you know let's drop some seasoning right there let's season it down you know make it sit clear you know 10 minutes are so you know mine near teen you know season every little part of it and i just rub it beard it on with seasoning you know so right now it's getting a lot of love right now i know no disrespect to the fish right now yeah that's i love and getting it yeah man you see it yeah if you notice the wind kind of upload the season i respect nick if you notice i'll make it's like see that i'm making sure it gets it right there not a season going on you know yeah not no liquor fast fast anything just get it all in there you know hot oil oil is hot so you know this one get a little flower dust on it just uh you know just a little flower so it doesn't ah i see it dust them off dust them up you know no i'm not getting dust no yeah first then you dust them up afterwards yeah you know just so it doesn't stick too much see that's it that's a little flour around it like that and then yeah we're going to drop him in now so see that you know go ahead bob ready touch a little flow right there it'll be gently and nice there it is yeah going right in the scissor to the side short no it's a little bit of flower and i'm going to drop it in there as well right in and then you just drop him in there get him off right up and he's in so i try to turn down the heat just a little bit so it ain't too too hot right so it just gets a nice fry you know not yet you smell like cooking poppy yeah you want to come eat some honey but they're probably frying right here puppy yeah we got the safety right here and in case we gotta start a fire mike got the power yeah i want i always got to be safe when you're not gonna be ready yeah i'm on so you know it's coming out nice see that yeah right that's the the truth one of the truth ready perfect to drop him right here see ya yeah one see it yeah and then even on the other side of me turning once or something real quick see the other side ah yeah nice yo that looks like a big piece of a steel car or something yeah mike's a professional you know he used to cook professionally and he may do it again one day yeah he loves cooking you can just see the passion the love for it so i'm learning a lot i hope you guys are learning something too ah real definitely you know real outdoor cooking here you know so yeah see the other choice here already nice all drain off a little bit you know make sure i hold it so it don't drop back in the pot splash up on me that'll be like you know really good with it yes there we go oh come on just boom look at that i'll put a little sideway there it is yeah one fried grouper editor look at that yo for me not this enough this is a good thing about it you can pick after the meat so you can just pick out the cheek pick out for your one pick out for your pick up the meat see that this is real proper i can't wait to try it like it smells delicious yeah i'm one so yeah one let's do it now real proper all right like it this is boys now if you remember francisco i gave him the cabera snapper head and he cooked up the big snapper head before now we just i didn't get to see it we just cooked up a grouper i cooked and one for different yeah this is looking nice too look good though yeah really really good yeah one street dada yeah one trying to change yeah hey hey frank's gonna help me bring it over here on the table giant try it yeah hold on you tell us what you think yeah wow it's good you're good yeah man you got one respect francisco so now you notice there i think everyone that eats this food by here we were gonna do some weddings in here this year but cove would kind of mess that up but i mean check this view out here you got the atlantic ocean right there we got a couple of houseboats over there out here you got the fleet we got more houseboats you know if you want to stay here at bud mary's we got these house boats for rent i got to do a walk-through video and show you though but we got four house boats for around here they're just like hotel rooms they don't leave the dock but they just float right here and uh we got the boats in the marina today not many fish today just a few got more hotel rooms up there too but let's dig into this grouper head right here on this throat and let's see what it tastes like let's see what jamaica mike did over here it smells delicious i love because i eat the eyeball but i eat a smaller eyeball before yeah so i'll drop it back in there you feel the gum it's gummy look at that yeah that's the eyeball oh gummy drop it back in there for a second all right would you eat that yeah it's good yeah it's good eyeball yeah it's frying now all right see the eyeball i'm gonna sprite a little more crispy that's the eyeball right here i'm gonna make it cool off so look that's my piece right here when it cool off i'm gonna eat the eyeball this is nothing that's gonna be delicious that's the best part yeah you can eat a piece of that try it yeah try it and let me know what kind is this yellow edge grouper yeah right crispy on a nice 600 feet of water the other day you see all the bones oh crispy look at that yeah crispy wow what'd you think that good really i love it i got me the crispy one here you just eat the whole thing huh we're going to christmas meat right there that looks delicious mm-hmm we can't i can't wait to get that cheek meat out of there too yeah nick we want you to eat the cheek right there yeah look at this mmm this is pissing me yeah i'm one so this is yellow edge grouper absolutely delicious nice and crispy jamaican mike sharing the love and showing us how to do it yeah i'm running nice yo mm-hmm fried fish is hard to beat you guys we got fried fish and i'm writing come on edwin you guys gotta try it let me know what you want to try it all these guys work or they work hard sticking on there man mike's health cooking eyeballs let's check some meat nice good the other one i think we got to do another big fish for right here we get all these guys here you have some fish for them for their family so yeah is proper yeah man of course on the crispy that's the cheek right there that's grouper cheeks and that's just one look at that nice and crispy right there keep taking more you know super good fried there and he made it nice and crispy we're going to play with the eyebrows yeah that's the one it broke huh yeah see there see that we eat yo gummy nice you want to dry i'm good you're trying nothing why not i'm good that's the best one look at all this meat coming off it off there this is white beautiful meat no mcdonald's today nope a day yeah yeah i'm going straight it yeah sit right there come on i see right there yeah that's good to eat yeah what really mud i mean they just broke the whole skull apart there and got down to the brain there so it's absolutely delicious you know everything so we got it yeah that cheese hobbies from cuba mike's from jamaica i'm from here there ain't much left you guys this is going down here and then it is crunchy see all this crunchy part that's delicious you shouldn't eat the little brain because there ain't no brain no more brains around those i've just got no brain delicious yeah why are you inside no you see yeah why yes everything disappears everything's gone you say it off yeah i'm on all right we're eating it all you guys right
