EPIC 3D PEN ART CHALLENGE!! Pokemon

hey guys what's up it's monoi today we're going to be doing another challenge yet again here I have a 3d pet have you guys used it before I've had I've touched it before but only once only once in my life before so I still consider myself a beginner in fact the one that I used before it was my friends so I got this new one for myself I haven't opened this yet so I have no clue how it works I literally don't know what I'm doing and with this pen today I thought of making a Pokemon and with many many many many many thinking I decided to make squirtle portals one of my favorite characters she was actually my first trick for my first Pokemon game ever brings back memories I honestly don't know what I'm gonna do I don't know how it's gonna turn out I know it's going to be a huge and I need some help anyway so without further ado let's start making it Pokemon a 3d pen art squirtle challenge let's get started so here is the 3d pen we're going to be using today I haven't unboxed this yet and I've never used this brand before so let's see how it is it has a magnet right here use your manual some filaments that I'm not gonna use we have some little tools and that's it let me plug this in mmm it's on Vulcan target target I also bought a load of filament I really hope this is going to be enough I'm supposed to put it in right here it's sucking in wait what is it white okay okay so here hokku from spirited away I think I got the gist of it it works just fine let's start making squirtle what am I doing this to myself why did I choose squirtle why couldn't I just choose Kirby I hate myself anyways first off first I'm going to draw a quick sketch I don't want to make it too big but I don't want to make it too small if it's too big it's going to take forever to make but if it's too small it's going to be too hard to make it needs to be the right size hey squirtle has three fingers again this is just a rough sketch so the next step is to make the bone structure a heart that's really fast and this is going to be the front connecting it together and this is going to be the base for his face this is going to be a very long video again and I have to say it smells really really bad it really smells like melting plastic which is like duh and then I'm going to make more lights in between like this and slowly I'm going to fill this up and to make it flat and let's get the music started it's starting to hurt my hand right here it's because it's heavy I mean heavier than a normal pencil and you need to make really small strokes and this movement is too much for my muscle right here anyways going back so I guess this took like about thirty minutes I'm going to go over it again so I wouldn't be able to see any holes and next up I have this mini iron I'm going to put it on low and wait for it to heat up it's going to be really really hot so we need to be really really careful this is weird it's really warm on the top but it's like hot right here it kind of melts if I use the sides she smells like fish hey guys it's me so because I wanted to concentrate on making it I decided to shut up and let me future-self add in the narrations so it's kind of awkward but this iron thing that I bought specifically for this challenge did not work very well at all I saw a lot of pen art videos I mean there's not a lot of tutorials out there and I have to kind of watch it and try to copy it because there's no list for any tools or anything but this did not work first of all it doesn't melt it kinda melts after I press it on for like five minutes but if I leave it even a little bit too long it starts to burn so if you look at it closely it has all these very yellow marks and it looks very dirty and it was just so frustrating maybe I'm using the wrong filament maybe there's a better heating iron thing at the right temperature as you guys know which one works best please tell me because this process of just melting the front part of his face literally took like one whole Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and then I moved on to the eyes so again I'm trying to mimic the other videos seemed like the all made holes for the eyes which I really hoped it worked but I mean I'm using a different tool here with a higher temperature point but you can see that it melts but it burns it at the same time for squirtle his eyes are all burnt and black at this point I'm like oh my god what should I do this is not turning out well I don't think I can make this into a video in your ward but it was determined to save my little squirtle I tried to melt off the burnt parts and also I added in the details for his mouth and nose using that same tool it was actually quite easy making small fine lines but the problem was trying to melt a bigger portion and making it flat I wasn't going to let my three hours worth of work into vain so I'm just working and working and trying my best to cover up everything here I'm just covering up with white filament I'm covering up all the flaws in his face and while it's not perfect I decided to move on look it's a little bucket can I just call this done at this point it's been like three hours and I was dying inside I just started making the back side of his head and I still have a whole body to go okay let's move on to his body and currently I'm watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets whenever I do art I go on a full Harry Potter marathon my favorite being the third movie again I'm just sketching out the body and making the bone structure using the 3d pen these parts are all so tedious so time-consuming I'm making every part of his body his arms his legs oh and I forgot his tail so let's get back to that later and then I'm connecting all the body parts together and filling up the space little by little like how I did his face I'm finally starting to kind of see squirtle kinda changing filament color was surprisingly very easy all you have to do is cut off the excess and then shove in the next color I thought the color would mix together but it didn't and with the yellow I'm coloring in his front part of his body I don't have much color selections so honestly I wanted it like a lighter saturated brown but this was all I could find not bad I guess it looks more realistic like detective Pikachu squirtle more than enemy squirtle if you know what I mean also I really hated how there's yellow burn marks all over but I thought to myself that squirtle which is technically a turtle could be a little muddy or a little textured or maybe it's all the scratches from the Pokemon battles I don't know but I think it doesn't look that bad oh look I made a Hershey's kiss of course what you think I made okay we don't need that and let's continue coloring the rest of the part and with white I'm cutting and fast-forwarding everything but believe me I'm on my fourth movie at this point and looks like she remembered about the tale finally without the tail it's just a normal turtle I'm just doing the same thing over again making the both structure and then covering up the space with the pet and we're almost there kinda I'm melting the surface again using the iron to old thingy what do you call this iron tool thingy anyways remember how it took a long time to melt the front part of his face yeah now I have to do the whole body and it took forever to melt but I did realize that it was a lot easier to work with the yellow and the brown maybe just the hypothesis there's a filament that's easier to work with maybe a better brand that I don't know of again if you guys know anything about this please comment below I honestly didn't want to do his whole body but I did his face so I kinda had to do the rest of the body I had to my perfectionism I'm a perfectionist poor art only I'm not a perfectionist in real life my room is so messy and then to make it even smoother here I got my nail filer I wanted a better standard but that was all I've got and it was 4 a.m. in the morning there was no shop open at the moment so I decided to go with the nail filer but that's probably not the best tool to use let's add on the tail I'm just connecting it together with a pen and then look it stands by itself I was quite impressed with that it stands on its own so I think it was about 5 a.m. in the morning I decided to go to sleep I need my beauty sleep if you guys need to know that's how I maintain my beauty by sleeping at 5 a.m. when I woke up I went to the shelf first thing in the morning to get some filers for crafting I wanted to see which one works best and while I was filing this happen the tail came off but actually OHS meant to happen I did notice it last night but I tried to brush it off or I tried to act like I didn't notice but the tail was on the wrong side up I took it as a sign and decided to mold it with a hot heating tool again and then reattached it using the pen a lot of work but it definitely looked better and where home was done I decided to paint the eyes I'm using normal acrylic paint is it only me but I loved watching people drawing into eyes it looks like you're putting in the soul you can definitely tell it looks a lot more like squirtle just by adding into small details I love this part and lastly I'm using the fine tip point cool thing again to add in the creases of small details like so and this is it guys this is how I made my squirtle so after a long time I mean a very long time um ladies and gentlemen are you ready [Music] so after hours and hours and lack of sleep and another few hours this is how it turned out what do you guys think to be very very honest I don't hate it but I think I could have done better I know I'm still a beginner I had no clue what I was doing I mean it's dance by itself so that's impressive I guess it's presentable but not the best to be honest if it didn't turn out that well or not presentable enough I probably would have deleted the video and and act like
