Today I will use crayon to draw a self-portrait. I feel little embarrassed.... But I hope you will enjoy it! Ok, so now I start to draw by crayons. It is pentel, 16 colors crayons. I already used these crayons quite well! Ok, so let's get started now! I start to use Yellow first. I am imagining the sun, so I am using yellow. And now... I use the color that is image for shadow..... ...purple, it is clashing color of yellow. I want to describe the three dimensional effect by dividing the sun and the shadow..... ...then paint the background to draw out the face silhouette. It is the blur clothes that I wear today. I add some blue color in the shadow part. Actually..... I like to draw the bigger face on the paper.... I guess everyone has particular about self-portrait, so do I..... sometimes feel pressure to show the better way.... ....lots of feeling comes out and feel confused....
When you draw the picture, it is very important...... ... not to try to dray too detail... moreover it's better to draw big. It is more important that you may draw the base more detail..... Well... see? you can see the outline.... and it also appeared three dimensional.... I am using the red.... color of blood.... .. the color I always mention to use. Using this black-amber color to describe the shadow's darkness. Make it darker and daker.... I am still adding dark color here. It is very important thing when you draw..... ...to make sure you have enough brightness and darkness in your painting... But....I know it is not so easy.... to break the concept to paint the face by skin color... so that lots of people hesitate to use very red color for face... so.....in this episode.... Well... my white hair.... my hair not only white, but some colors also on it. Maybe crayons....
sometimes it hard to use because they are thick... On the other hand.... it also important to learn how to draw roughly. Crayons cannot describe thin and detail lines, so that you may learn how to "draw big". Using the weakness of crayons in the positive way.... and using other way to describe the detail part....
for example.... by scraping off the paint. If you have someone to paint, for example.... friends' or your father or mother.... It is good idea to paint for them. They must be happy! I also painted my parents-portrait when I was young. My parents were really supportive and be model for my painting. If someone, like your friends or parents, can help you, you can paint them and give them the paint as a memorial. Well.... around my cheek.....I use eraser to take away some colors.... I add some color for my teeth.... Teeth should not be painted with too much emphasis.... so I will adjust gradually while moderating. Around the neck.....
