Encanto Movie Reaction FIRST TIME WATCHING

hey guys welcome back to the channel today we're going to do something a little different if you've read the thumbnail we're watching in kanto i i know my page is known for superhero stuff ah it's known for star wars stuff it's known for horror movies that's probably the draw and that's probably why a lot of you were here in the first place but if i hear the reference we don't talk about bruno one more time and not know why we're not supposed to talk about bruno i'm gonna lose my mind so i love musicals and uh you know me i'm a big ball of emotion so those two together equal fun and probably me going to cry a lot so i know just a couple things um and it's mostly because of tick tock i know the one song that they always have on there that i think is that we don't talk about bruno song um but i don't really know the lyrics that well i just kind of know that part um so there's that and that lin-manuel miranda wrote the songs to this movie so so i'm expecting to have a good time i know it's a far departure from what i normally watch and i'm actually excited for that i don't know how to edit a musical so that'll be fun that's that's going to be interesting and on that note let's get into it it is also valentine's day weekend so for all of us single people out there watch whatever you want to watch do whatever you want to do buy yourself some flowers get yourself some dark chocolate have yourself a good night all to yourself you don't need a valentine i know i don't i whatever in kanto in kanto and kento and kento i need to go to disneyland i still haven't done any of the star wars stuff there i need to build myself a lightsaber this candle holds the miracle given to our family long ago when my three babies had just been born urabuelo pedro and i were forced to flee our home we could not escape the dangers and uravuelo was lost the candle became a magical flame that could never go out wow why am i already emotional good grief human life to shelter us when our children came of age the miracle blessed each with a magic gift to help us and when their children came of age they got magic too that's right tonight this candle will give you your gift to me vida make your family proud so i don't understand that the the grandfather disappear or did he die what did they mean by lost okay i need a house to get me ready every single day because this would make life so much easier a willow is hot [Music] [Laughter] [Music] but why don't we talk about bruno still want to know i'm sure they're going to get to it but i want to know now [Music] okay i like the strong sister [Music] what are you doing [Music] i mean call me wrong but like she seems pretty gifted even if it's not magical not special special since uh you have no gift if i was you i'll be really sad gift or no gift i am just as special as the rest of my family maybe your gift is being in denial didn't expect the kid to drop a sick burn like that did someone say flowers [Music] she's annoying thank you oh it's nothing and i'm not in the way you are been there i gotta put out the stuff the house isn't gonna decorate itself sorry probably will you yeah remember remember you have nothing to prove that's gonna just suck some of us to help is to step aside let the rest of the family do what they do best sucks if the gift ceremony doesn't go well this time tonight would be hard for us ouch like they're not even putting pressure on her they just like are discarding her he's probably got a lot of pressure on him you're gonna get your gift and open that door and it's gonna be the coolest ever wish you can have a door because i have an amazing family and an amazing house and an amazing you and seeing you get your special gift and your door that's gonna make me way more happy than anything this family doesn't deserve her i know you're an animal guy and i made this you always have something to snuggle with all right you ready maribel is just awesome not that i like i mean obviously being in a family's got to be rough but like it's really unfair that they kind of are like don't ruin it because you're the one that's going to ruin it carrying a lot of ass there couldn't help it mexican corn sounds so good for you that's gonna say no way jose but i don't know if that's appropriate or not to say as another steps into the light to make us proud the house is actually really cool though come on little buddy what if he doesn't get a gift you're going to blame her come on oh cute it's like the third time you've seen something disappear the grandfather bruno and then that door what's up [Music] he's an animal guy he's like the colombian snow white i was wondering how like they just have all these rooms duh the house just creates them i want this gift so badly [Laughter] antonio has the best gift i'm so happy for him i knew you could do it a gift just as special as you we need a picture how much does that like chip away i'm still at part of the family [Music] and i'm fine i will stand on the side as you shine no you are not the house isn't gonna disappear like the door and the grandpa right the tiles were falling and there were cracks everywhere and the candle almost went out show me the house was in trouble the the candle was abuela i promise we didn't didn't bruno have the ability to see the future there is nothing wrong with la casa madrigal the magic is strong i mean she obviously has something it's like the house is calling to her cracks in our casita if our family knew how vulnerable we truly are we cannot lose our home again why is this happening help me save our miracle i will save the miracle i absolutely adore her so much how do i save a miracle yeah i don't know girlfriend but i'm here for it i figure out what's happening to the miracle anyone would know what's wrong with the magic it's her camilo stop pretending you're dolores so you can have seconds worried about the magic is you and the reds talking in the walls elisa i heard her eye twitching all night heard her eye twitching louisa can you reroute the river will do lisa the donkeys got out again she getting all the got to tell me about the magic what's going on what are you hiding nothing doloros said your eye was twitching it never twitches something's making you nervous no lisa if you know what's hurting the magic and it gets worse cause you won't tell me what's wrong nothing's wrong i'm totally not nervous i'm the strong one i'm not nervous i'm as tough as the crust of the earth is i'm if i pretty sure of service donkey unicorns i think you're carrying way too much last night when you saw the cracks i felt weak but i heard the grown-ups once before theo bruno left he had like some terrible vision about start with bruno's tower find that vision what am i even looking for if you find it you'll know can you turn off the sand you can't help in here you know that sand is everywhere your future awaits welcome to the family luna mean maybe you should talk about bruno i kind of like [Music] would die the bruno day broke into bruno's tower i found his last vision the family's in trouble the magic is dying the house is breaking we skipped his waiting and i think it's all because of me we say nothing just no one has to know should hear you i know she's gonna tell everyone fix your face [Music] is why are they putting it together [Music] oh poor louisa the rat's talking the walls yes oh oh so bruno's still around okay so she can sing she can dance and she's kind of a track star like i feel like she's actually pretty talented maybe not magical but definitely talented get it girl parkour help me you're very sweaty [Laughter] oh [Laughter] bye no no wait you were never supposed to see that vision no one was a little soft superstitious eh have you been in here patching the cracks all the patching is done by hernando who is it i'm hernando and i'm scared of nothing i'm hungry i made the sparkle how long have you family you know well anyway i i think you should go because um i don't really have a good reason but if i did you'd be like i i like cruno i wanted to make the family proud of me just once if i'm hurting my family just tell me and tell you because i don't know i will not worried about the magic so she begged me to look into the future and i saw the magic in danger and then i saw you it would change and there was no one answer what if she was the answer to stop the magic from breaking but i knew how i was gonna look i knew what everyone would think because i'm bruno and everyone always assumes the worst so you what the fate of the miracle itself oh it's all gonna come down to you no pressure yeah yeah you wish you could have seen more so see more have another vision oh look even if i wanted to which i don't you wrecked my vision cave i need a big open space we'll find one this is my room the rats told me everything our family needs help and you need to get out of here you have told me the second you saw the mission think of the family i was thinking of my daughter you've always been too hard on me today yes mirabei was in that vision for a reason see something that you don't like you're gonna be all bruno makes bad things happen oh he's creepy and his vision killed my goldfish oh sometimes family weirdos just get a bad rap that line hit me a little bit harder than i thought it would have i can do this i need to know which way it goes there's got to be an answer something we're not seeing if there was something else over there follow the butterfly is that a hug am me you see you you're missing the point the fate of the family it's not up to her it's up to you you're exactly what this family needs you just have to see it by yourself after i leave i just adore for me because my sister passed away him sorry that your life is so great some of us have bigger problems selfish entitled princess so marry that big dumb hulk i never wanted to marry him i was doing isabella's out of control because of you i don't know why you weren't giving a gift but it is not an excuse for you to hurt this family i will never be good enough for you no matter how hard i try no matter how hard any of us try lisa will never be strong enough isabella won't be perfect enough didn't care about this father he loves this family i love this family is dying because of you ugh [Music] i'm sorry it didn't would have hurt us i just wanted to be something i'm not i've never been able to come back here this river is where we were given our miracle i was given a miracle a second chance and i was so afraid to lose it that i lost sight of who our miracle was for i am so sorry we are broken because of me you lost your home you suffered so much all alone we were saved because of you we were given a miracle because of you nothing could ever be broken that we can't fix i don't care what you think of me but if you're too stubborn to just feel like i missed something [Music] [Music] what do you see i see me all of me [Music] oh it's too much it's too much there you go girl just relax [Music] i feel like i didn't say it during but i feel like lin-manuel miranda did bruno am i wrong i don't know it feels very much like that was lynn john leguizamo actually that makes way more sense city is just nominated for an oscar best animated feature best original score two caterpillars really that song i mean it's a good song i don't think it was the best one um i mean definitely louisa and in uh isabel have like some of the best songs actually there's then we don't talk about bruno which wasn't the best song but it had the best story per se i really liked isabella's but i really really really like louise's song i think both of them actually like really got me i am not upset about this original score if it wins oscar for original score kudos i am going to download the soundtrack and sing it really loud and that will explain probably why i'm single so i'm not going to have some big breakdown for the movie but i i do definitely um wanted to say that like i always enjoy these movies because there's always like such a deeper meaning to like every whether it's disney whether it's pixar disney pixar there are always such deeper deeper meanings and the ones that i was picking up the most were definitely from louisa and isabella and i mean definitely you know mirabelle but and even bruno it's the expectation to be something that you either are not or you know there's a lot of families that um they're like oh this is my tomboy you know she's the one that she she's mine getting dirty she's into sports and then that kind of becomes that person's identity somehow and a lot of their identities were rooted in their powers rather than who they were and what they wanted to be and abuela was definitely pushing those identities further and further and further and the problem is that when you can't be who you want to be or who you feel you are especially inside but you can't show that to the rest of the world uh it it causes cracks and breaks and eventually you fall apart so that was kind of the deeper meaning for me um i really as someone who is deeply affected and emotional about sister stories um i feel like like this was such a great representation of actual sisters that like you know we bicker and we fight but like we are always going to be there for each other and we're always going to fight with each other probably more so and more vicious than anybody else but we'll get you back always and forever and and i know my sister passed away that's how i feel about my best friends that i've been friends with for you know the past 20 30 years uh easily i would i i almost said take a bullet i'd rather it not come to that but i'd throw myself in front of a bus to save one of their lives for sure definitely no questions asked um i loved the music i love lin-manuel miranda i i love the way he tells a story i love his style i love that there's always not always but there's typically a rap breakdown of some sort and it's not your typical rap it's you know the hamilton wrap it's the it's the uh oh he's the guy from moana how how does it just like maui how how does maui escape me but you know like like the the rock has a rap breakdown in the middle of that movie and it's just the best and i didn't it didn't connect that it was john leguizamo who has a very distinct voice but it didn't sound like john leguizamo i guess that's great to where like you knew robin williams was the genie and you could tell a robin williams character pretty much in anything that he voiced um i i didn't pick up that it was john leguizamo and i think that that's great wonderful way to hide it i like it um all in all like i i identified more with like the the sisters louisa isabella and maribel um and and gosh when she's having her fight with her grandma and is pretty much i think saying like what a lot of internal struggles we have from our childhood of not feeling good enough or being good enough or being perfect or having to fit that those identities that people thrust upon us i think that when you kind of break free from somebody else's expectation of who they think you should be rather than your expectation on yourself that's ultimate freedom and even abuela had an expectation to be this leader and to keep this magic going and to protect this home and protect this family and in doing so she actually was hurting it um what a beautiful story i really the other thing that i thought was a little weird is that they said that um abuelo was lost which i didn't know really what that meant like did he disappear because then they said bruno disappeared and then the door disappeared for maribel so i was kind of like like like are things disappearing but uh he's dead he's dead yeah and and and they killed him in a very disney magic way i'm saying he's lost all in all wonderful film i am going to probably download the soundtrack i am probably going to be dancing around my house to it because that's what i do you you should see me rock the greatest showman you're never going to i'm never going to record that for you but if you did you'd be really entertained my spatula is an amazing microphone okay guys catch me here for some more movies um i've got some horror coming up i've got a new series i'm going to be starting i'm probably going to put a poll out um i can't decide if i should do certain shows or not um i know a lot of people have been saying that i need to watch dexter and that is a long series to do um what i might be doing is putting those on patreon and they will just be full length because editing is it's not a nightmare for me but it takes me a long time so um trying to get it out there for you guys to watch but i'll put a poll out for the next series that i want to watch in the meantime like subscribe and do all the grow stuff that i have to ask you to do in order to grow things all
