our next guest is only six years old but her piano skills will leave you saying woof from Rockford Illinois please welcome piano prodigy Emily Baer alright let's talk about the piano playing cuz you're really good you're really really good how long have you been playing and a year and three months since I was four a year in three months and we always drawn to it did you does anyone in your family play my brother Benji bear mm-hmm nice what's his name Benji Benji bear okay am i stressed there what's her name Lauren mm-hmm he played the harp and the piano mm-hmm Wow so it's a very talented family and mama bear does she play also piano and she sings and she sings that's great service when you play are you just so good at it I don't get nervous from how much right and so and you how often do you take lessons a week every Wednesday every once a week and and how do you like your teacher yeah uh-huh and it's it how long were the lessons an hour or so probably about an hour yeah mm-hmm you just were drawn to it you just went and like the piano and started playing yeah uh-huh when I was two mm-hmm I wasn't playing the piano the flakes didn't cat him in a little lamp oh yeah since I was four I took lessons uh-huh well you're really good kind of who your favorite composers and I look large mm-hmm so Pat uh-huh into classical is your favorite let's see what is the first thing that you're gonna play for us I'm gonna play Mozart Fantasia and D minor okay Mozart okay you Wow you're gonna play what jazz right what's the next one it's C boogie so you boogie okay I didn't hear you're six years old I just want to remind you of that okay and you wrote a little something for me yeah okay I'd like to hear it you now we we just booked you uh last week so how long did it take to write that song 10 minutes 10 minutes and Wow 10 minutes and how did you come up with that how did you write that if fish came out it just came out you're amazing you're amazing
